They replaced my siding, and installed new gutters. The two men who hung the siding on my home were outstanding. They worked VERY hard, and their work was top rate. I really appreciated the quality and diligence. They covered every detail, and were thorough in cleaning up. The men who installed the gutters were also very good -- took time to explain things to me, so I could make decisions about placement. I highly recommend Classic Exteriors. They were first rate all the way.

I have waited months before they started to build my deck even though they promised they will finish it in few weeks. They also removed my existing small deck without having a permit to build the new deck (very unprofessional).This blocked our access to the backyard for more than a month unless we go out the front door and get in from the fence gate. When they finally started to build it they failed to implement details as they were written on the contract.For example the bottom deck should have been close to the ground with one step all around it but they skipped that part all together.Finally, they left without even fully completing the deck and I had to call them multiple times about the missing sections. They came back multiple times and each time they only do small part and act everything else is fine.I, finally, gave up and stopped calling them and the deck is not fully complete yet. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Owning a historical home, even simple renovations will have a few surprises. Classic Exteriors helped me replace and upgrade my patio and front doors. Both doorways had to be completely reframed, resized, and adjusted to compensate for odd sized openings, slanted floors, and drainage issues. My salesman, Mitchell, did a great job scoping out the project and was very knowledge on what his installers would be able to accomplish, While Classic Exteriors was not the lowest costs, Mitchells detailed knowledge of the install process and suggestions for maximizing the potential for my doorways made me feel confident in their ability to handle the job. My installer, Russell, definitely exceeded all of my expectations. He was very professional, stopped to explain options/suggestions throughout the process, and left me with beautifully installed doors. He was clean and ensured all of the historical moldings were intact. I am thrilled with the outcome and look forward to working with the team again on future projects.

After I contacted Classic Exteriors via Home Advisor, they reached out to me the next day to set up an appointment to look at my old deck and provide a quote for a new deck. We had the option to completely customize the deck, but we opted to keep the same design except longer.Part of their standard sales pitch is that it takes 30-45 days in case they need to cover licensing/property/legal issues. For us, they came out two days later (3 days after I contacted them on Home Advisor) and took the deck apart. The next day, they built the whole deck, and it looks amazing! Superb construction. They walked me through the details and answered all questions I had. They cleaned up all the old debris and left everything as it was when they first arrived.You will pay extra for their services for a few reasons. If you live in Dayton/Fairborn like me,, I imagine operating costs are more since they are based out of Columbus. Second, they are very skilled at their profession and provide a quality service. My 17 x 10 deck cost $11k, but I think it was a good investment considering I plan to sell the house soon. If we kept the 10 x 10 deck (original dimensions), it would cost about $8k. Both these prices are the bottom line quote as explained in the next paragraph. I gave 4 stars because this means the labor was about $116 per hour per person, which seems really extreme despite the quality of work. It would have taken only slightly less time for the 10 x 10, which means they upcharge the cost of materials A LOT.For the price, it also helps to understand their sales tactics. They will quote you an initial price, then apply some kind of promotional discount, and then provide a bottom line if you commit to the contract that day while the rep is at your house. If you want to price shop, consider them last to take full advantage of this bottom line.

Rick and his team did a transformation of a small bathroom into a wonderful laundry room. They took care of our health by keeping the area clean each day. Rick asked me what I wanted and what my needs were and put it to work in the room.

I was going through financial hardship, but really needed my front stairs replaced. I explained my situation, what I could afford, and what I would need. I originally planned on replacing the cement stairs, but they worked very well with my budget and came up with an alternate plan that I could afford and was happy with. The project was completed in a timely manner and the end result was even better looking than I envisioned. What an improvement! I would use them again for another project. Pics are dark, sorry. We called to get a quote to convert our 3 season room into a 4 season room. The sales presentation was excellent and we were able to see the quality and performance of the Sunrise windows and doors. Russell was great during the install and the quality of his work is clearly evident. We couldn’t be happier with our decision and will definitely be calling them again when it comes time to replace our basement windows.

I absolutely have to recommend Classic Exteriors! We were so impressed with the work they did two years ago when we hired them to replace gutters and downspouts that we sought them out to replace our homes shingle roof. They did an awesome job! We have a rather large roof (~35-36 square) and they were able to tear-off the old roof and place the new roof in just two days! They were efficient and tidy....they even blew off small shingle grit from our patios, front porch and driveway! Mitch was our sales representative...he was knowledgeable and professional during the home visit! Brigitte was our primary contact for the job and she was nothing less than incredible! Brigitte made frequent contact with us prior to and during the job and answered every question and provided documentation in expeditious fashion. We would hire Classic Exteriors for any home improvement endeavor and would encourage others to seek out this local and quality-committed company!!

Worst company I never worked with. Incredibly non-responsive. Once I did finally connect, they asked me send pictures of what I wanted. The next day, I was informed they are too busy to add a new project at this time. Dont waste your time and effort with these folks. Very poor service.

I had several projects in different areas of my home that needed to be addressed. Tim, Jim, and Victor were all conscientious in making sure each project was done to my liking.

I had a front door that needed to be replaced. Real leaky when it came to the air, and the color was really faded. It was the original from 92-94 time frame. Classic exteriors came out and measured the door and the sidelight to precision. Ron was the contractor who came out and installed the door and sidelight. I was told that he would be here between 9am-10am. He was knocking on the door at 9:15am. Not only is the door very pretty, but it was put in with care and precision that I believe is unmatched. Ron knows exactly what hes doing and it shows in his work. For me, it was a huge project to take on. For Ron, it was an easy install. He even finished it an hour earlier than he originally thought! Im supremely impressed and Classic Exteriors has earned my business. Thank you everyone at Classic Exteriors!!!

I went on HomeAdvisor looking for someone to replace a set of 3 deck steps(not a huge job), but one we can’t do.John Lynch called my husband, they discussed the steps & replacing them, not a problem. But John kept pushing asking my husband what I did and when we’d both be home , my husband as a retired sales rep, realized he was trying to set up a sales pitch. My husband stated that he knew exactly what we needed done & weren’t interested in a sales pitch. That’s when John grew Salesman’s horns & became irate telling my husband he doesn’t respect him! Grrrrr so disappointed!

Ron installed my back door and did an excellent job. He was able to make modifications to the trim because the door was not standard size. When he finished he cleaned up his work space including the stair well and leaves where he had been working. I would highly recommend Ron and Classic Exteriors.

UPDATE: I see the owner has responded to this review. Let me be clear. There are issues I can clearly show from the inspection report, There are pictures I would be happy to post. I invited the company to come to the home and review. A salesmen looked at the project, I invite ownership to come and look. Nothing is structurally falling apart. There are just problems with all parts of the project where the details were done poorly. Crooked doors, cracked tiles, poor pattern layout, etc. Tape splits in drywall, non functioning outlets, poor installation of the dishwasher, varying heights of wall cabinet installation, which way the cabinet door swings, etc. I have no ill will, but I stand by my comments on the level of quality. Please feel free to contact me. Im not asking for free work, Im trying to make others aware of what they might receive if they have their kitchen remodeled.I don’t normally post reviews, but I thought this would be a situation where this might help others if I do. We didn’t contract Classic Exteriors to remodel the kitchen, but purchased the home from the couple who did. I had noticed after we purchased the home, how the cabinets were off center, hanging crooked, the doors and drawers are crooked, the base cabinets are not level, etc. I found an estimate later that indicated that Classic Exteriors was the company that had performed the work. I also had found out that they installed the tile, throughout a sizable portion of the first floor. It also as similar problems: cracked tiles in places, port transitions, bad pattern layout, etc. In addition the drywall work already has tape splits and the plumbing and electrical has since needed repair. I don’t think there is an item they have touched in their remodel that shouldn’t be redone. The price tag for this work? North of $50,000. We received a promotional item from the company recently around the time I discovered they had performed the work. I contacted them over the phone and they came and looked at the work and then said they wouldn’t repair the work as it was out of warranty (just under 2 years from the work being completed). They did offer to quote me a price to repair everything! If you have questions about my review, please feel free to contact me to verify the above. I’d be happy to let anyone inspect for themselves what I am saying. If you have any questions about whether this company should remodel your kitchen, please don’t, it’s not a price worth paying.

Fantastic work! I had Classic Exteriors replace my front porch this year and they did a phenomenal job. This was not a simple project. They had to remove my old brick and concrete porch (I have a raised entrance to my house) and build new. This included a new, large picture window, steps, railing, etc. They completed the work quickly and left the site clean. The men who did the work were polite and very professional. And the finish work and attention to detail was way above my expectations. As you can tell, I can’t say enough great things about this company. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

We chose classic exteriors after years of talking to different companies. Although they might not be the cheapest, we are very pleased with their quality of work. It has been a complete pleasure working with them throughout the process. My husband and I were very impressed with their craftsmanship and cleanliness. They did what they said they would do. We would hire them again.

Called to ask about financing options for vinyl siding installation, talked with someone for a few minutes and then abruptly I was told that they would call me back. They called back later that evening but I ended up just giving my husband their number to call them as he would’ve been the one doing the financing. He scheduled an appointment with them, no problem. But something came up on our end so when my husband called them to reschedule, the contractor got upset and hung up on him. Very rude and unprofessional. Their loss. Now we have to find a different company that will allow us to finance new siding. Sucks.

We couldnt be happier with the quality of the work done or the quality of the people doing the work. They clearly take great pride in their work. They replaced our gutters and downspouts, replaced a sliding glass door, repaired water and carpenter ant damage, and replaced our deck with a beautiful new one. We wouldnt hesitate to hire them again.

Overall customer experience was wonderful. They updated us on any delays on the installer arriving. Russell the installer was very professional . He cleaned up after his work. We had some rotten trim boards replaced on our home exterior. We got a couple quotes and I will admit that they werent the cheapest bid, but we really appreciated their honesty when we asked for a solution to a gap between the home and chimney. Andrew did most of our work and was extremely skilled and wonderfully thorough. Mid-job we found out our screen in porch had extensive rot and he was able to replace the wood without damaging the stucco. He also designed a better sill for the screens (that would be easier for water to run off of). Overall, very happy with their work and would hire them again.

I submitted an online request yesterday to get a quote for a deck and never heard back. No big deal, they have great reviews on home advisor so I called in today and got transferred to a scheduling person/project manager. All I want is a basic 10X12 platform deck and two stairs built out of composite to replace my patio. I told him I would be able to remove all of the pavers for them prior to their construction of the deck. He goffed about the stairs and said they would have to do a railing. I said that is fine (Im sure it has to be to code, no big deal on my end). He then asked if I owned the property. Standard question- sure, I answered yes. He then asked if there was a Mr He could speak to. I said no, I am the property owner, just me-- he seemed surprised. He then asked how long I planned to live here and I said, Im not sure but I may keep and use it as a rental even after I move so from what Ive read I want to choose quality, so I want composite. I told him it was a condo, and that I already have clearance from the HOA all I would need is a sample number for the color of the composite to get it approved as matching the siding. He then once again tried to talk me out of my chosen project, tried to get me to switch materials because it is expensive, and then told me he doesnt like working with HOAs.I ended the conversation there and will happily take my money elsewhere. When someone has done their research on materials and it set on spending the money it will cost, when they have approval for what they want built, and just need you to come give an estimate and likely set up a start time for the job, why would you turn them away or ask for a Mr. Who might own the property.Its 2020. Do better.Ill gladly take my business elsewhere and recommend that everyone else does the same.

Did not show up when we agreed on a scheduled day and time. This was on a second attempt to meet . The 1st time the contractor was suppose to show, they called an hour before the scheduled meeting and wanted to reschedule. I had cancelled my plans for the day, on my day off of work. They did not even have the consideration to calk and cancel on the rescheduled day! (Very Unprofessional)

Richard managed tear down of my old existing deck and the rebuild of my new composite would deck. Richard played a intricate part helping me with deck design, color and accessories that really eased the tension while planning! In addition, Richards brother the master builder showed up to work in the snow on time and completed a full days work each day. I dont know how he did it! The deck build included a metal roof and everything moved right along during inclement weather. Im so pleased and proud of my new deck (its the talk of the neighborhood)! I strongly recommend CLASSIC EXTERIORS if your interested in an upgrade to your property! Im posting pics but they dont do my deck justice!...Jeff

I had a garage door and front as well as a screen door install in my home. When the garage door was installed, the installer made a dent. I was told someone would be out to fix it, its a year later and I still have my dent. Sunday 11/15/2020, there was heavy winds in Columbus. My screen door ripped clean off. I called them on Monday and still havent gotten a call back. For a company that has so much pride, why havent these things been fixed? An acknowledgement of my phone call would be nice. I was given all the time in the world to sign up for the work, but now no one has time to return a phone call.This is a lie!No one from this company has called me, text me, emailed me, or came to my home. I cant believe that the owner of a company would post a lie. Wow, that speaks volumes about your company. I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB and any other service that I can about this company. What a shame!!

Mike and his crew were very professional and their work was an example of that. They were courteous, worked very hard and the final product was excellent. I highly recommend Classic Exteriors and thank Mike personally for the quality of his work.

Estimators who wrote up the project were thorough and informative. The installer Andy and his crew did an outstanding job and had an eye for the details, a trait often missing in todays construction market. I would use Classic Exteriors again.

I didnt get a chance to use them because when I called (after I emailed and hadnt heard back - he just didnt get to it yet), he shared my project just is too small for them. Guess its good I didnt have to waste anyones time on a small project. Ill remember this though anytime I have a big project to find someone who thought my money was worth their time.

Had a few leaks one around and near skylights and around my chimney decided to replace complete roof. They brought a large crew had my whole roof striped off and 90 percent done in one day fixed several flashing issues against house. My roof is about 47 squares really large. Installed new skylights in my addition they where leaking during heavy rains .They replaced 4 sheets of sheeting that was wet due to roof leaking. We had several days of rain after repair no leaks everything is dry . They did complete roof in two days new ice guard drip edge new flashing around chimney new ridge vents 3 dimensional shingles . They gave me five year warranty on labor and lifetime on roof . They did a really nice job cleaning up . Pleased with there work .

Had some siding get blown off from wind, and insurance covered replacing all our siding. We chose these guys because they spent the time to go over everything with us and really showed us that they wanted our business.They did a fantastic job installing the siding. Looks great and is on the house really tight. There was a mix up on the siding color, but they fixed it immediately. As soon as I pointed it out, they stopped what they were doing and got the correct product back to our house within 30 min. Very impressive.I will be calling them for our other home improvement projects.

Ive hired Classic Exteriors to complete projects on my residence for the past 3 years. When I first hired them, I only had a couple things I needed fixed, but Mike did his due diligence and informed me of other issues and it just so happened that my insurance covered it! The new roof looks great! They finished the job in one day as promised, android the roof no longer leaks.I am however, disappointed that instructions werent clearly passed along to the workers. The agreement was to remove 2 of the 3 skylights, but no one was told. All skylights were detroyed by not taking care when they removed them so I had even more interior remodeling than I had previously planned.Maybe its just me, but for the price I paid, I expected to get exactly what I wanted, not most of it.

I Called this company to do repairs on my sunroom. A Joel came out and looked everything over. He Said Brian will provide me with a quote shortly. Well that shortly never turned out. I waited about a month, I texted Brian several times about the quote. I told him if he wasn’t interested in the job please let me know so I could find other contractors. He replied He and his company are still interested in the job. Another week past and still no quote. I find him and this company very unprofessional, just a lack of common courtesy for costumers time.

I only wanted to get a ballpark range over the phone of putting in a new door and he said that he will not give me a ballpark range to have to get a quote which I get but I did not want to bring somebody out to my house and waste everybody’s time if I was able to afford the project. He said “what is wrong with you” and hung up on me and wouldn’t answer my return call

Did a great job replacing vinyl siding on one end of our home. Replacement needed due to storm damage. Clean up was average as they left nails and bits of old siding in our flower bed.

Some hit my house in September taking out my gas pipe, gate and part of the siding this was such a nightmare for me and my family. I called several siding companies one gave me an estimate however, they didnt want to repair the siding, they were more concerned with replacing my whole house. However, after dealing with different companies trying to get over on my insurance company I was really becoming discouraged about finding a good honest company to do the work. It was November and I was looking for someone to fix my house, so i called Classic Exteriors which was the best decision I made throughout this whole process. The staff is very professional, I told them what my insurance company would pay, which was not a problem. That night they came out did an estimate, i signed a contract, they called me 2 days later said they found the siding and it would be in the following week. When my siding came in Friday morning i got a call saying your siding is in and we fill you have waited long enough to get your house back in its original condition so we will be out on Sunday at 11 will that time work for you? I replied absolutely. They arrived on time, did a very professional job, cleaned up their mess and made sure i was satisfied before they left my house. Classic Exteriors was a breathe of fresh air and if i ever need work done in the future Im calling them.

Painted the exterior and replace some rotten trims. Friendly people, easy to work with. You need to check and make sure everything were included on your initial contract. I didnt realize the exterior frame of the back glass door wasnt included so it didnt get painted.

To begin with you never know what to expect when it comes to people that you hire to work on your house. We (my wife and I ) did our homework to search and find the company that could best qualified to do what we wanted done on the house. We found that company with Classic Exteriors. A sales representative came to our house sat down with us and was very professional . He was very nice and was not pushy and listened to what we wanted done. Afterwards, we went outside to walk around the house. I pointed out everything that I wanted done some things to be painted, boards that needed replaced and some siding that came lose and needed to be put back in place. We went back into the house talked about price and when they could start working on the house.Once the house was completed in reasonable time I was completely satisfied and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who wanted an honest company doing more than a great job on your home.
