Been with Jamal since February of this year, he’s had his shop for a little over a couple months now. I must say That he is the most professional barber I have ever met. Jamal is by far the best Barber in Columbus. He really cares about his client and what they want. I have been in Columbus for 7 years and found myself making a trip up to Cleveland for my cuts. I almost just went bald before finding Jamal. I am now a regular but I have had taken advantage of the facial service as well as my beard and haircut of course. Everything is top notch and I would recommend him to any and everyone I know.

I’m extremely disappointed with my fade from Jamal at Fresher Fades, especially for the price. Jamal seemed more interested talking to his friends about his “thriving shoe biz” and “conning kids on Instagram” than on my hair. He was also instructing his friends to make burner accounts to leave positive reviews on his business smh. Makes sense why all the positive reviews are on the exact same day. Can’t believe I fell for the positive reviews on here. Hoping my TRUE review stops someone from getting ripped off at this poor establishment.

I love Mr. Pepper. Its hard to find a barber like him who takes his time and does everything with accuracy. He even does things I dont ask him to do and he does them because I usually ask. He remembers what his clients want and thats remarkable. My aunt referred me to him and Ive been going to him ever since.

Extremely disappointed with my cut from Jamal at Fresher Fades. I came in after coming across him on Instagram, however, my cut was awful and looked nothing like what he posts on social media. He also isn’t friendly and pretty unprofessional. Felt like he was rushing and checked his phone multiple times during cut. Overall, didn’t seem interested in working and I don’t think cutting hair is his true passion. Will never go back.

Avoid business with this unprofessional place, worse fades I’ve ever seen or had. Owner is a con artist who owes thousands of $’s to people. You can get a better fade in prison
