Im very picky with who cuts my hair and I came back to this guy a second time... so thats 5 star worthy in my book becasue that normally never happens. I have no reason not to come back again and several reasons to return next time. Its just a great experience above and beyond the actual haircut. My 11 year old son loves this place- from the hard line in his hair cut to the warm face towels and no itchy hairs from the cut, it is the best place he has ever had his hair cut. Would highly recommend AJ and I have.

AJ greeted us at the door, offered refreshments once we got settled and then asked what we wanted for my son .. I showed him one picture and he was like “ok” ... gave my son his hand wax treatment first and then started with the cut . He is very personable and conversational which I like... my son is 9 and felt the need to tell him “ you have a great place “ I was even shocked to hear it out his mouth haha. He also gives the hot towel treatment and washes your hair once the cut is to your liking. He offered a face mask when my sons mask broke and I really just enjoyed the entire experience. My son LOVED IT AS WELL ! We also bought hair paste off of him which he used and it smells so good!Update - 3/19/2021... took my son again and he did a scalp massage for my son this time after the hair cut and hot towel and all the extras ... it was awesome .. he is so friendly and it is an over all an enjoyable experience ... also he remembered us !! I recently moved to the Columbus area and I was looking for a good barber to visit. Over the years Ive learned that a good haircut comes from someone that loves the profession and does their best to provide their services to others. AJ gave me one of the best haircuts Ive ever had. After months of working from home I was looking very scruffy and my hair had become insanely thick. I booked a cut with AJ and let him know what preferences I had along with my request to have some hair leftover to style. I feel like many barbers do a great job but dont have too much experience with curly hair such as mine. He didnt have any issue with it and he was able to shape up my beard, style my curly hair, and I even got a paraffin wax done with some hot towels. I will be back here for sure in the future

Before coming in I was hesitant, I don’t trust many people care for my beard. Upon arriving, AJ was super friendly and professional. We went over exactly what I wanted done and he took it from there. The paraffin hand treatment was a nice addition from the start. Between the cut, trim and hot towel facial massage, every step of the way he was fun to talk to, and a joy to be in his shop. I absolutely love the results and He has earned my returned business for sure!!!!

AJ might be the best barber in town, the man will do nothing short of some Micheal Jordan magic. I wanted to watch a hockey game, and he spent 30 minutes, reseting his own password to make it work. And then he continued to be absolutely phenomenal with the beard trim, facial, and haircut. Ive never had a moment of true ecstasy. And AJ was able to come through and provide it. I was in a panic tonight because it didn’t work out to see my usual barber, and I was leaving early the next morning to go out of state for my wedding... I called AJ at almost 9pm, and he came back in to the shop to cut my hair, a client he had never worked with. That alone is simply incredible. Came across Aj’s hands down best experience I’ve had.Hard to find someone you trust to manage a beard trim, especially when it’s the only hair you have left. 😂😂Aj went up and above what any barber has ever done for me. First he offered a leave on conditioner for my hands which made them really soft and took away some calluses off my hand.Second, he informed me of everything he was going to be doing and listened to what I really wanted, he planned and execute it to perfection.Third, he trimmed up my eyebrows, styled my beard with a leave in conditioned and balm. I could not have asked for a better service! The chairs they had are so soft and comfortable, the barber was very understanding and did a fantastic job, and the scenery was so nice! It looks like a living room, with a tv and a mini fridge. I cannot recommend this enough to you!

I took my 3 sons to get haircuts today at AJ’s for the first and he gave them the royal treatment. Professional, friendly/caring, he loves what he’s doing, very attention to detail in getting the work done. The boys enjoyed talking with him while getting their haircut. The place smells good, very clean and neat, organized and has treats for the kids, oh and the red chair is beautiful. I usually take them to Great clips and it’s always a hassle and their hair looks chopped and all the same. First time going to AJs Man Cave for a cut and it was awesome. AJ didnt just give my son and I great hair cuts, he gave us a whole experience. I went there for a haircut and it was phenomenal. I typically go to GreatClips for a haircut but I went here this time. This surpassed my expectations and the barber is so nice and has a great personality. Being someone with dry scalp it was nice that he treated me normal and wasn’t disgusted by me and recommended a shampoo that really works. I would come here again anytime I need a haircut.

Finally got my haircut after a couple months in quarantine. While I enjoyed the mountain man look for a while, it was time to clean up. AJ was very easy to schedule with.
