I know I’m not Italian but I also know this is not Italian. It’s the bottom shelf of the Kroger freezer section, I understand covid hurt but, if you can’t do a pescatore then just please don’t. For crab they used imitation crab stix, the scallops seemed to be quartered and not even sautéed maybe just boiled, the shrimp was so tiny and genuinely questionable. If I get sick I just would not be surprised, I’ll be surprised if I’m fine. There is a pool of olive oil, genuinely you could have saved at least 3/4ths of this. The wine was great (it was in a bottle) and the service was amazing. I’m sorry I wouldn’t serve this to anyone much less for almost $20. I’ve been cat-fished, this place has all the makings for an amazing family style Italian restaurant from the man who greeted us to the white table clothes and well dressed service. I’m stunned.

The atmosphere was incredibly authentic and what we first noticed when walking in the door. We were seated comfortably on the waiting couch for a table to become available and the staff was quite friendly. The food was wonderful. Although the dining area is quite intimate and multiple conversations are going on at once making it hard to hear, overall it was a very pleasant first time experience and we would come back again.

The food was real and authentic. It was real authentic! We went to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. We had the Roman Bread with no olives (the gorgonzola was stronnnggg and so was the peppercorn), my hubby had the escargot (he loved it) I had the Tonys Own Fettuccine and it was 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾chefs kiss! with the wedding soup which was absolutely divine. My husband had the Fettuccine Pescatore and it was delicious 😋. Everything was very tasty, I would love to go back again! The limoncello and apple martini were both very nice as well! And the cannoli for dessert was a wonderful ending.

Go eat at Z Cucina do Spirito. The inside scope! Here is a little bit of background on myself. I have been in the culinary field for 28 years. I have been classically trained at Johnson & Wales university and certified through American culinary Federation. The maître d’ is the owner Tony & the bartender’s name is Chuck. What you read about these two individuals and their bad attitudes are 100% correct! The vast majority of their reviews above three stars are from their family, friends and their regulars. The people cooking in the back of the house are not trained in the culinary field. Tony only hires cheap inexperienced labor. There is no “executive chef“!The cleanliness in the kitchen is mine blowing. If you ever have the urge to eat there and the back door is open take a quick look and you will see exactly what I’m talking about when it comes to cleanliness. Now let’s talk about the food. All the desserts are frozen, nothing is made in house. 95% of the menu was created back in the 1980s and never has been updated. The white sauce/Alfredo sauce are one in the same but on the menu it gives you the impression that they are two different sauces which they are not. The white sauce is made with very low quality products. The crab that is on the menu is imitation crab let me repeat myself it is imitation low quality crab! The lasagna is not made daily! The only positive part of this establishment is the dining area. It has that old German Village feel. If memory serves me right the restaurant used to be an old horse stable. Very beautiful dinning area.In summary, don’t waste your time because all you’ll get is bad attitudes from the owner and bar tender to go along with the low quality food that is thrown together by untrained cooking staff. It’s about time that Tony and Chuck retire and pass along this beautiful restaurant to someone that will take great pride in providing wonderful customer service and serves high quality food.

This was the most terrible Italian restaurant that I have ever been to. There were many things on the menu that sounded good however everything that we got was bad. Including the service which was the most terrible of all. We never got our drinks filled, our table was never pre-bussed, the server helped other servers close down their section instead of bringing us parmesan cheese, another fork, napkins, and some things that we needed to eat our meal. In addition to that the server was very flighty and kept mentioning off subject creepy things. It was just a really weird experience. The only thing I did like was the cream sauce that came on the The spinach and cheese catalonies; however, it tasted like They used frozen spinach on the inside.. The appetizer bread also tasted like it had been frozen previously. Also I think there was more seasoning around the plate and on the edges then there was on the actual food. Our salad had no flavor at all and it was just lettuce, with oil and one pasta noodle. The croutons were old crunchy bread. Id never go back.

I was very excited to come here today, and when my friend and I got there we received a very off putting look from who I assume was the manger or owner. We asked for a table outside and he told us to wait 10 minutes, even though there were plenty of open tables. I politely understood he request for us to wait, and after 15 minutes of us waiting and him standing around staring at us from a far I started to get agitated. Then shortly after that he decided it was time to seat us. He brought us out to the table, gave us no eye contact, tossed the menus and walked away. This led us to just getting up and leaving. I want to acknowledge that the waitress did acknowledge us as soon as we walked outside, kindly saying “I’ll be right with you guys” and “Are you guys leaving?” I appreciate her for that! We headed over to Cafe Napolitana where we had great food and much better respect and service!

Went last night for dinner. The man who seated us was indifferent towards us. The server groaned as he walked up to us to pour our waters. On that note I told my boyfriend we could either leave now or just get drinks as I didn’t want to be such a burden on the people who we would have been tipping that night. Server seemed doubly annoyed that at that point we were only getting drinks. The bartender was great and ended up being the one taking care of us as the server obviously had better things to be doing other than his immediate job. Very interesting that other reviews also note the rude and unwelcoming service. Went down the street to local cantina instead and they were awesome, they had never even heard of Tony’s when I told them of our terrible night there lol. I definitely don’t care enough to go back to try the food, which other reviews describe as only a little better than the bad service.

A wonderful restaurant! This was my second time and everything is delicious and the service is wonderful! Kyle was out server and hes great! I recommend the Roman bread for an appetizer especially if you like blue cheese. TheVeal Saltimbocca is mouth watering good. Tonys Own fettuccine put me outside my comfort zone. Its a seafood pasta with a cream sauce. That to was very good and I would have both again. My friends all had different items. They all taste good. I posted a picture of my first cosmopolitan. We was so disappointed after reading the reviews. We had the meatballs and spaghetti and meatloaf. The meatballs and meatloaf taste the same very mushy and had absolutely no flavor. The marinara sauce on the meatballs did not have the nice tomato flavor that you would expect from a true Italian restaurant. The spaghetti sauce was just as Bland.

Fantastic classic Italian cuisine with several well thought out seafood dishes. Salmon (ask for it medium but well seared if you are like me) with spinach, mushrooms and cannellini beans is one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. Ill start with this - Tonys is a beautiful restaurant with classic décor and ambiance, fitting your perfect local Italian restaurant vibe. We walked in feeling great, grabbed a drink at the bar, but that was the best part of my experience. To start, we ordered the Sausage & Peppers app; the sausage came out almost completely raw. When we told who I assume to be Tony, it felt like pulling teeth for him to remedy the situation.Next, we ordered our entrees - Veal Piccata & I ordered a Tonys Own Fettucini but subbed in Tortellini, which may have been a mistake. Anywho - salads came out and they must have grabbed a handful out of the Kroger Spring Mix bag and tossed a little olive oil on it- not what I expected from a high-end Italian Restaurant. My meal lacked flavor, depth, seasoning; I felt like it was no better than frozen Tortellini mixed with jarred alfredo. My ladys dish was heavily over salted and almost too much for her to eat. After the meal, Tony came up and asked if he could buy us a dessert for the appetizer blunder, which we thought was quite kind. We got the Tiramisu. Well, the Tiramisu came out FROZEN. That about put a bow on our experience.Maybe was just an off night for them, but from the food to the service, we left quite disappointed. Hard to think about returning at this point.
