I had a minor fender bender, unable to stop in time to avoid another car running a red light. The other driver was very cooperative, gave me her drivers license and insurance company (Progressive (boo!)) and we agreed our insurance companies would be in touch. Not the case with Progressive, but Lisa had helped me immediately with filing a police report and taking photos of the car damage, getting an estimate at the nearest auto body shop, all very helpful.Then, as I was being stiffed by the Progressive agent for 2 weeks with no end in sight, Lisa took the initiative to get American Family to cover the repair (less my deductible) and then subrogate their claim directly with Progressive. American Familys estimators worked quickly and effectively with the local auto body shop, covered the rental car for 2 weeks, and the repair came out looking better than before the accident. Lisa and the rest of the American Family team were great, responding immediately and effectively -- unlike the local Progressive agent!
