Great experience with my loacl geico agent, Seneca was a pleasure to work with and was not in the least bit pushy. She was quick to help and looked into a concern that I had about something that pulled on my report. She got me the best deal possible at almost 40 dollars per month cheaper than my previous insurance! The attentiveness and overall discount was enough to win back my business after a bad experience with geico a few years back.

Paid an extra $25 to have information sent to the state...it wasnt. Asked it to also be mailed to me...it wasnt.. took 3 days 7 phone calls and over 2 hours on the phone to have that information faxed..I couldnt legally return to work until I had the information sent to the state and also in my car. I had to miss multiple days of work because of geico. Could have lost my job. I would never suggest this as an insurance company. Worst customer service. Even after posting customer service responds. Asking for my information to investigate. Its been how long and not once have they cared to contact me. Please do not waste your time and money with geico

Patti Norris gave me a call today to follow up on an online request I had made in getting lower auto and home insurance. She was very thorough in customizing my quote so that I was getting the same level of coverage of my present policies but comparing price. Even though Geico mainly works with auto policies, they also have affiliates that they work with for home insurance (traveler’s) and will give discounts as though they were caring for the whole thing through Geico as multiple policy discounts. We got disconnected a few times in making calculations and finishing up the policies, but Patti was quick to call me back and carry on from where we left off. She saved me a lot of money between the policies just like the ads on t.v. suggest! Thanks Patti for the great work and determination to get the job done!!

You might as well drive without insurance before you waste your time with this worthless company. Yes it cheap and fun till you get into a wreck then their true color come out. It took 5 days to get a call back when I filed a claim. What kind of insurance does that? I thought they were good insurance but now I know better to never insure anything with them anymore. Do not get Geico insurance you have been warned or you will learn your lesson the hard way. The best way to know if an insurance company is good is when you have to file a claim, then their true colors come out. Don’t say you did not know because now you know.

Our car was hit a few months back while parked and unoccupied in a parking lot. Luckily the lady was nice enough to wait for us to return to let us know she had done this by accident and give us her information to be able to get it fixed. Very thankful she did because she could have very easily driven off and left us to fix this on our own. The unfortunate part that we did not know would be such a hassle at the time is that her coverage is through Geico. From the very start of this they have tried to wiggle out of trying to pay to have our car correctly fixed, starting with the appraisal. They write you a check on the spot the day of the appraisal, I assume it’s hoping you take the money and don’t get the car fixed or realize its unbelievably too low. They gave us a check for $1,400, all said and done this cost over $6,000. Next, they try to steer you towards their own recommended shops rather than shops your car manufacture recommend and warranty. All of this was annoying but not the biggest deal in the world. I get it. They must make money and anyone they can get to do this they save a few bucks. Makes sense and that’s fine.Where they completely lost all of my respect is when I got a call from the shop letting me know that they were refusing to pay for our manufactures factory parts but wanted to use cheap aftermarket parts to save money. This is unacceptable. The parts that were broken were factory parts. Not cheap, aftermarket parts. It is in my opinion that they are supposed to return the vehicle in the same condition was before the accident took place. I went back and forth with Mitch, who I was told if their claims supervisor and he refuses to pay for the proper parts because he isn’t “legally obligated to”. What a terrible way to operate a business. If you break someone’s Rolex, you can’t replace it with a Fossil watch and say “oh well it still tells the time”. Seems like common sense to me. To do the bare minimum allowed under the law. A cheap, shady company doing just the bare minimum required to just get by is now how I will always think of Geico. I will be sure to keep anyone in my circle of influence from doing any business with Geico moving forward.

I dont even live near Columbus and I will only go through this office. Always work with them over the phone. They are fast and everything is always correct. Ive been with several other insurance companies. This is the first one that has never tried to upsell or pressure me into anything. My bill is always as it should be.

The agents at the local office are top notch! Not only do they show concern, they give VALID advice for insurance needs. Lets face it, insurance is something no one likes to talk about but they made it EASY for me to switch! Give them a call or go into the office and have them better protect you.

Really really bad insurance. You may think you are saving money but you are actually being con. Wait till you file a claim, then you will know how useless this company is. I was really happy for years thinking I’m saving money, that was until I had a claim. You will find yourself alone because they will turn their backs on you. Do not use Geico and I’m not joking how disgusting they treat you when you file a claim. Yes it’s cheap but wait till have to file a claim then you will know.

Very polite on the phone but when it comes to paperwork or getting a loan paid off you might have to call quite often to make sure it is all correct. Personally, I have considered cancelling my insurance because of the lack of correct information. Maybe this is a random chance but I have had a terrible experience. I like information and all the information they continued to give me was all different. I am very displeased with the outcome with this company.

Well someone rear ended my vehicle and their insurance had expired. I filed a claim with Geico because I have uninsured motorists insurance in my policy. First it took 4 days to hear from them, then when she returned my call, she asked me questions that were not even related to the accident. She asked me if I do rideshare and I said yes. She asked me if I was doing it when the accident happened, I said no because my husband was in the car with me and I was going to drop him off at work, She then needed a log in record which I don’t have nor do Uber or Lyft. Common sense is, how will I be doing Uber and lyft if my husband was in the car? So basically they are refusing to pay for my car and using the excuse that my app was on when my app was off and my husband can testify to that. Anyways what is the purpose of having an insurance if they are going to give you headache when you file a claim? At this point I have no choice but to drag them in court. This is a warning to anyone who wants to use Geico. Please go with another insurance company and don’t wait to learn your lesson the hard way like I did. They are glad to take your money until you have a claim, then they start giving you The runaround. I’m going all over the internet to warn other of the scam company so they won’t do this to anyone else.

Went online for a quote and wasnt interested, moved on to another company, but they WILL NOT STOP CALLING ME! I wouldnt have tried to get a quote had I known they would spam me for 3 weeks after. Ive blocked them and theyre just leaving me voicemails non stop. Definitely will not be a future customer.

I had geico for many years. I always paid on time then I cancelled and they charged me a $20 cancellation fee. Well I was thinking about going back. Just bought a brand new 2017 vehicle. They wouldnt even quote me because I owe $20. Hello Ill pay the $20 if you give me a good quote. They would be getting a lot more from me if I decided to go back. She told me I must pay the $20 before she would quote me. She said it with and attitude. The woman was rude rude rude rude. She laughed at me. They wont ever be getting my business again because of her. It is in that companys best interest to get rid of people like that. Safe auto it is!

Apparently the English language is not the strong suit of most of the negative reviewers here. Ive had Geico for about a year and a half now and theyve provided better service than State Farm ever did and at 60% of the cost. I always felt like I was getting robbed by State Farm, and I guess I was right. No complaints on Geico so far.

FIND A DIFFERENT LOCAL AGENT! GEICO is GREAT as a whole!! But this office is NOT GREAT and made a MISTAKE that alsmot COST me THOUSANDS.I was given inaccurate information on when my policy ended. They ended up canceling my policy a day before they should have. My wife got in an accident that day and I was not covered due to this mistake. I had to go through geico corporate and file a coverage dispute. Took about a week - they still ended up covering me. The claims and corporate people I spoke to were very nice and helpful. GECICO as a whole seems great...but I would be very wary of this local office. They didnt even have the calls recorded.I do recommend GEICO, but a different local agent. But if you do go with this office, make sure record all your calls yourself and make sure you have proper documentation of everything. If I had not recorded my calls, corporate may not have afforded me coverage when I needed it.

We are long-time customers of Geico, and long-time fans of Matt Clegg and his office. Weve saved a ton of money by switching to Geico, but for us insurance is more than just the cheapest rate. We had to have a company we trusted for our vehicles and our home. Matt and his team made us feel comfortable and explained everything. They made it super easy when we added teen drivers, when we got new vehicles, when we added home coverage and more. The Geico commercials are funny, but insurance isnt really a laughing matter. Thats why we trust the friendly folks at Matts office. Theyre awesome.

They want to squeeze every penny out of you.After years of being with them, i finally switch to Liberty Mutuals and saved $20/month on my premium. Gaiko Gaiko said he knew why. Others quoted over a thousand dollars (National Auto.. haha) This was about $6-700. Same coverage! And the answer is completely fast. They shows fast responsive! And they are kindly explain about my questions. I got a COVID 19 discount automatically without any problem too. I changed the auto insurance company since GEICO have good reputation among my friends. I am satisfying a lot at now.
