I rented from Oxford for two different apartments (studio and 2-bed) for the past four years. Overall, it was a really good experience. The apartments are priced well, close to campus, and maintenance is very responsive to repair requests. They take safety seriously, keeping the outside and parking lots well lit. Additionally, they offer to provide furniture for no extra cost.

I can’t think of one bad thing to say about Oxford. The staff is attentive, every amenity in our apartment is great quality, the building feels safe, and the price is unbeatable. I’m grateful to have lucked out with them and not a company like Hometeam Properties.

Loved renting with Oxford! Great office staff who are very friendly and helpful. Maintenance was efficient and attentive. Also can’t beat their rent near campus, Oxford has the best prices for students to live close to classes. We cherished our time with Oxford and are sad to be moving away from such a great group!

I rented with Oxford for 2 years and had a great experience! They are a smaller company around campus so you actually get attention and good service when you need it. Not to mention their rent is really reasonable. The minor maintenance issues I had in the place were usually fixed within 1-2 business days. If I ever had any other issues I just gave Oxford a call and they were accommodating to my needs. I would recommend them to anyone!

I only had the pleasure of living at an Oxford property for a year but my time there was amazing! They were very prompt to all of our maintenance requests and have kind and respectful office staff as well. They make sure to treat each tenant like friends and human beings. A lot of other companies on campus can be shady and dishonest but we always found Oxford to be very transparent! I liked Oxford so much I recommend them to a friend who is also renting with them this upcoming year! If you’re looking for an outstanding landlord experience on campus Oxford is the place to rent from!

Such a great rental company. These people will go above and beyond for you. At our location they are not responsible for our washer/dryer system and yet, they do what they can to help us fix the occasional issue with it. They genuinely care about their tenants and treat us fairly and with compassion. I am so lucky to have Oxford as part of my Ohio State experience.

I rented from Oxford for 4 years. My lease went month to month after the first year but I never had any reason to look elsewhere.The leasing process was transparent and simple. My apartment was delivered to me in pristine condition. I was provided a move in packet that detailed everything I needed to know about the building, setting up utilities etc. The landlord was always quick to respond to any questions or issues, even those outside of their control. I was always notified in a timely fashion of any preventative maintenance, repair or enhancement work that required access to or around the apartment.All in all, I had a fantastic experience renting from Oxford.

Service is good, whenever I have maintenance issues, I just text them and they response quickly and will come over to fix it soon, that’s great!And the one who reply my message (I think should be a beautiful lady) is extraordinary nice!!

Oxford has been great to me and my roommates and is consistently accommodating to our needs. They are always prompt in addressing necessary maintenance issues. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an apartment or house. Prices are also awesome for students.

I have been an Oxford tenant for a year now, and am going for another! Oxford really takes care of their students, maintenance is quick with anything you call in, and the staff has always been so kind to me. All around great experience renting with them.

I have been living at the Oxford apartments for the past year now and my experience has been so great. The place is cozy and comfortable and very affordable for undergraduate students. They have parking passes as well, which also are very cheap. Everyone at the office is very personable and friendly. I would definitely recommend using this company!

0 STARS! On my tour, Jay was kind and persuasive, as it is part of his job. After, I decided I was going to sign the lease and was told I need a co-signer. Jay had stated that everything was through pen and paper and there was no online version to be sent to my mother in California and I would have to mail it. I was looking to move in ASAP and the apartment was pretty much ready for me (except for painting & cleaning). Today, I had gone in with the cosigned lease as I was able to fax it and have it back. When I went in Jay stated that he needed to original copy. Well my family is leaving on vacation and I would not have the original for about a month. JAY then decided to catch an attitude with me and told me if my mother faxed the paperwork over to him he would accept it. Well that she did and guess what? He did NOT accept it and was asking for the first copy. My mom then called the office and was answered by the older lady there who then called me a liar and hung up in my mothers face. I went into Oxford and basically got into a yelling match with the employees. The people who work in this office are not on the same page and are rude. I would NOT recommend leasing through this company.

Awful people. Original woman who helped us with lease papers was always so rude over the phone and had such a mean personality. Not to mention the number of petty and rude texts we receive from their staff when they have specific requests. Take your money somewhere else and dont rent from here.

Great company! Maintenance requests are always done quickly, their properties are well maintained, and the people there are super nice and accomodating. By far the best realty company at Ohio State.

Terrible! I rented an apartment from Oxford from Fall 2017-2018.Besides the random fees and unannounced visits, Jay is extremely rude. I spoke to him on the phone concerning the specifics of subleasing, but he decided to lecture me on the nature of my relationship with my roommate. I was not interested in his moral views, so he yelled, cursed at me, and hung up.

I am currently a tenant, not using my real name because this company likes to display private information about leases (look at reviews from a few months ago.)First thing is they do not have an online payment portal, we have to take checks into the office every month. So if youre busy like me its kind of a pain. (especially if you dont have paper checks, like most college students dont.)The apartments are fine unless something breaks, If you have an older apartment Id be very careful. Its nearly impossible to get someone over to fix anything. My thermostat was out and it took almost a week of me calling consistantly to get it done.I was reading other reviews and I saw a lot of similar issues, Look at the comments from the companies owner. Every response is rude or saying the tenant is giving false accusations.Find a company that will treat you good for the thousands of dollars you will be paying.

Beware of this company. We were told by the main tour guide, Jay, that water would be included in rent. They then charged us and acted like they had no idea what we were talking about that they had told us water would be included. The entire apartment building in 144 had a horrid stench for about a week and when I called to complain they sent Jay directly to my door and who was extremely rude and disrespectful and acted annoyed with me as if I was being unreasonable. I had the tires stolen off of my bike which was supposed to be a gated area, so be careful even though that is not directly their fault.Our apartment is very nice and rent is cheap but I will not be returning here next year.

Everything was great until my dishwasher broke. It seemed nearly impossible to get someone to my apartment to fix it, everytime I contacted Oxford, it seemed like I was bothering them. Theres plenty of other companies that have a reliable mantanince team. I would take my business elsewhere.

-Updatesince moving out of this apartment Ive found another on chittenden ave with a different leasing company. So far absolutely none of the issues I had while renting with Oxford. As a plus the landlord is extremely polite and respectful. Going on Yelp for Oxford also shows various other reviews from people who have had horrible experiences with Oxford as well as name-calling and unprofessional behavior from the landlord, Jay.Im more than happy never renting from Oxford again as I have neither been called a Mamas boy by the landlord nor had crickets jump on me or my girlfriend in the shower. Or any of the other constant flys, ants, and millipedes that infested the apartment despite claims of preventative exterminating and myself spraying the apartment for bugs.Looking at other reviews on here, one from a tenant named Nicole looks very similar to my experience with the tour. I was told certain utilities would not have to be paid and then a back and forth kept going on as to which utilities I was actually responsible for. Avoid this company like the plague.Also I didnt receive my security deposit back despite leaving the apartment in much, much, much better condition than they gave it to us.It also seems completely outrageous and morally reprehensible, at the least, that this company posts the text messages of tenants who have left bad reviews.-Original postDirty, very rude staff and landlord, expect to have packages stolen from apartment and bikes stolen from garage with no camera. I lived in an Oxford Rentals property for two years, between August 2016 and 2018. In short: Oxford provided us a safe and stable apartment for two years. As long as youre okay with some older stuff, its a great place for a campus apartment with a good management team.Management: Overall, I was satisfied with Oxford as a landlord. They like keeping things close to the vest. The rental office is located nearby, so you can walk there and drop off your check for rent and water. They dont have a huge staff, but when they are free you can expect them to replace broken or malfunctioning things. Most of all, I think that theyre flexible with you as well. Just pay the rent on time. Theyre an honest bunch. They like to get things done super early in the rental cycle, so be prepared 8-10 months in advance to start or renew a lease. (This may have changed since - if so, sorry).Facilities: This is more specific to the 144 and 154 buildings. I would say that the upkeep of the dated buildings could be better. There is a laundry facility in the 144 building, which has four coin-op washers and dryers. They could definitely use an upgrade, but they do the job if not broken. You may have some issues with cable and Internet due to the mess of wires coming into the buildings. The hallways of the buildings could use more attention and regular cleaning and walk-throughs. Until recently theyve had some problems with the keypad doors, although those have been replaced lately. The parking lot is directly outside and in fair condition. You should jump on getting the parking passes if you use your car frequently, since there is about one space per unit. Otherwise youll have to park in front of the building or find parking around on Iuka or Indiana. Overall facilities are barebones, but its enough to get by.Unit: We leased a 3-bedroom, 1.5 bath unit that was recently remodeled. This was a welcome surprise for us since we didnt have to pay for an upgraded unit. We had: a stainless steel fridge and dishwasher, a black glass top stove, granite countertops, large sink, and new cabinetry, and hardwood common area. The building, as the unit, is on the older side. This meant: some crumbling paint, a tilted floor, and our air handling unit was especially loud when it was on. We had our thermostat replaced. Insulation is a bit poor around the windows. WOW Internet had to come out to make some repairs. We did have plenty of space, though, for all of our stuff. Most important for me, and this may have been because we were on the third floor, we never had any bad bugs like ants or roaches. I also forgot to mention that Oxford was kind enough to lend us some furniture for free, including: couches, coffee table, end tables, desks, and chairs, for no charge. This really helped us out with not having to buy basic things.

They were extremely grimy, I had a friend who deposited a security deposit for an apartment. Within 24 hours of depositing the money and signing the lease, they gave away the apartment to another group of people and they shredded their documents without even a notice or phone call. When my friends father called and complained the leaser started screaming and cursing at the father. Do not rent from this company. They are sneaky.
