The entire staff has been so knowledgeable and helpful concerning every detail of my veteran’s business affairs. I have had phone calls diligently returned and paperwork completed easily with the help of Eugene. I really appreciate these people and the job they do.

Eugene is a great service officer. The guy leaving the one star review is reviewing the DAV, not the MO Veterans Commission. If you want help from a service officer take the time off and visit them in person. They dont have time to be phone calls

Eugene completely changed my father in laws quality of life by getting him the assistance he needed and deserved. He went above and beyond!

This DAV in Columbia, Mo. is by far the worst one in the state. They will leave you hanging on your appts. & Heaven forbid that they ever give you a callback when you be call them for any reason and leave a callback number. They dont even rate 1 🌟.

I walked into this office with hesitation because of the horror stories you hear about which veterans service is better than others. I have to say that from the minute I walked in, they welcomed me with open arms. Sat me down, discussed several options with me and then asked to represent me, I didnt even have to ask them. I retired officially 1 January 2013. My VA rating was returned to me April 2013, but Missouri Veterans Commission continued to represent me and without my knowledge, resubmitted for a re-evaluation. This was completed and sent to me July 2013. It literally was six months from the day I retired to the day I received my VA rating completed and to my satisfaction.Thank you to all the employees in this office. I always give your office name out to fellow Veterans that are preparing to retire, and will continue to do so.v/r,Benny Alvarez
