A large tree branch fell on my roof during a thunderstorm. I called Sox & Freeman, and they were at my house in 20 minutes to take a look at the situation. Not only did they remove the branch the same day, but they actually billed me less than the estimate. So, take away message here is that these guys are FAST and HONEST. Blake was my point of contact, and he was very professional and courteous. Highly recommend!

This company it was an absolute pleasure to work with they removed eight trees ground the stumps cleaned up the whole yard where they worked and now my yard looks like it never had these trees. Their crews were friendly obviously knowledgeable of what they were doing and I just enjoyed watching the work they were so professional. They had to take part of our swingset down and they also took the doors off of our gate so they wouldn’t damage anything coming through and put everything back exactly as it was before. Now would I recommend them absolutely to anyone who needed any tree services whatsoever you can’t go wrong with this company. From the very beginning I was pleasantly surprised I didn’t know exactly what it would cost to do the job but when they came back with their “to be honest with you it was much less than I thought it would be so as far as I’m concerned it was a win-win all the way around. This is certainly the company I would use in the future for any tree issues that I had.

I can highly recommend Sox and Freeman Tree Service for any type of tree removal job. We had to have a 90+ yr. old oak that was about 70ft. tall taken down. William and his entire crew did an amazing job of taking the tree down without damaging anything in the yard! A small power line issue was handled promptly by Nick and resolved to our complete satisfaction. Expertly handled from the beginning to the end of the job! Well Done!!

First class. We had some work done on a huge, old oak tree that had overgrown our house and had some other issues. The Sox & Freeman team made some (much appreciated) suggestions that balanced the health of the tree with my original request. The difference between a professional & experienced arborist and ... me! Called them at 8 am for a large pecan limb that had cracked and was just hanging there, deciding what to crush...my neighbors fence ( for the 2nd time this yr) or my dogwood. Got a quote by 9, crew was at my house 15 min later. Fair prices, and great customer service.

I actually used a different tree company, however, I called Sox and Freeman at the suggestion of my neighbor, who absolutely raved about them. Their quote was slightly less than the company I chose. The only reason I chose a different company was timing. I had a tree leaning toward my house and two others that we simply wanted gone. They were willing to come drop the tree that was leaning and get the other two at a later date. I was very impressed with Brent and his knowledge. We simply made a choice based on getting all 3 trees at once. I also would highly recommend Sox and Freeman based on the work I’ve seen at my neighbors house.

Same as the other reviewers. Professional, courteous, timely. Caleb Hughes and his team came and spent an additional 30 minutes putting our tree swing back up (better than it was before) after doing a lot of pruning on a very large water oak. They also did a great job keeping falling limbs off of a lot of our plants as well - realizing that is no easy task when dropping huge sections from such a large tree.

This company is incredible, their entire staff is amazing. The guy who took down our huge tree with his great team was extremely professional & super talented at his job. We could not be more impressed or happy with the way they took care of us. You must call this company if you really want the best tree service in SC.

These guys are arboreal ninjas, wizards with ropes, philosophers of the urban forest. Seriously good work, great client service, and customer education to boot. Id have em come back again just to watch them work, and learn more from these guys. Bonus: not as expensive as I expected.

I had a couple of broken tree limbs that were still partially attached to two trees in my yard but they were too high for me to remove safely. I noticed a crew from Sox & Freeman working at my neighbors house this morning so I walked over and asked if they would take a look at the limbs at my house and give me a price. As soon as they finished at my neighbors, Caleb and the crew came by and took care of the limbs in question in literally less than five minutes at a more than reasonable price. Fast, friendly and fair service - what more could you ask for?

Rude and blocked my driveway on a Saturday. Keep in mind the tree they were removing had absolutely nothing to do with my house or driveway. When asked to move vehicle they told me there was enough space and that if I did not feel that it was an adequate enough room that i could wait for them to be done....

They removed several trees for us a few years ago and recently came to grind the stumps of a few small ones that we cut down ourselves. Both times weve had professional and friendly people come out. They are quick and efficient and will leave your yard cleaner than it was before they came. Would recommend them for any job, big or small.

I wanted advice on a freshly planted tree and for my aging pear tree. Brandon was on time, friendly, courteous and knowledgable with good suggestions. When done, I asked what the fee is for an the evaluation, he said nothing. I will be calling them back for any other tree service in the future and strongly recommend them.
