Product and service has gone down. Have called, and have spoken to many Reps/contractors, but they can’t seem to get the issue resolved. First, it s new modem, for the speed that I should’ve been getting. It appeared to be working for a couple of weeks until I saw a Spectrum truck next door. Not long after he left, I had No internet. I called back that day, and explained, but Customer service said I had to Upgrade to get more speed, but it was working after I got a new modem. After upgrade, did not help, I called back again. another contractor came out and stated the cable box in another neighbor’s house, was cracked and was giving bad signals. Still getting slow speed and intermittent internet.

Customer service ladies were making fun of an Asian man who couldnt speak English well and was trying hard to be understood. All these two ladies did was laugh at him, which I thought was super rude.If I had not been waiting for help from these women I would have spoken up. Now I wish I had.

How in the world does a location such as this not have their hours posted online? Crazy that the employees dont consider trying to share the hours to Google. I went ahead and took a picture and attempted to make adjustments to the hours for them since they cant seem to get it together.Edit: Less than an hour after I posted the hours to Google they update and make it live for everyone to see!!! Nobody did this the entire time this place was here??? Absolutely crazy.

I had a reservation for 11:40 and I wasn’t seen until 11:48. I just wanted to upgrade my phone. The guy took all my information only to tell me that they do not have the phone in stock and suggested I go to the Harborson location ‘even tho it may be closed.’ You could have saved me sooo much time by asking which phone I wanted first instead of wasting my time taking extra info once you saw I was eligible for an upgrade.

Not good service at all. I went in to see why my phone did NOT come in (Ive been cellphoneless for a week as of this visit). I rather pay high priced Verizon (when I get a raise & can afford them, lol) for a piece of mind then to deal with the lack of customer service w/Spectrum. Mr Phillip wanted me to touch a dirty pen (COVID-19 is still high) instead of writing the number down & I was glad I already it. I went to him because another Rep was on her lunch break & I didnt want to wait 30min for her to fix my order that she did two days prior. It was messed up & now I have to go another two (& maybe four if it doesnt come in Saturday). They need to be retrained ASAP. I am very dissatisfied & I would NOT recommend Spectrum to anyone. In the meantime... Woe is me, woe is me.😕😧😡

Ive gone to this location a few times and have always been treated with patience and respect by the staff, but my internet service has been awful. In the past month Ive had 9 internet outages, 5 of which are from the past week alone. I understand maybe 2 or 3 times in the span of a month, but this is extreme. Every time I get a text saying techs are working to restore service, but what is causing all these outages in the first place? Id never even had an outage until January, when i had 5 in that month. Every time I call customer support, all they can do is reiterate (again, politely) whats already been texted to me: that techs are working to restore service. I dont know whats changed in the past month or so, but spectrum needs to get it together to keep their current customers because Im done. Im switching to AT&T.

Fast, and Friendly customer service representatives. Taking all necessary precautions and practicing procedures in order to keep both customer and employees safe while dealing with covid-19 virus. I never had a problem with Spectrum. My bill is always consistent. My only complaint would be how long you have wait for when your on hold via phone. Other than that, they are always up to date as far as technology goes. Agents are always respectful. I definitely would recommend service to a friend.

Recently my DVR quit working and after spending 30 minutes on the phone with technical support I was told I needed a new cable box. I returned the box and was given the wrong cable box which was discovered after spending a frustrating time on the internet and the the phone, I had to go back to the store and get another one. And I didn’t even get an apology. They need some training in customer service since they don’t seem to have Innate courtesy. Thinking about changing my service.

The store on Hardin St. Is absolutely horrible. The person working there finally called me up after a 30 min wait and kept telling me to step further back after I kept telling him o could not hear him. My hearing isnt that great but I guess because I am not older it didnt register wit hmm him that I actually could not understand him. I was told over the phone to take a broken piece of equipment in and that they would be expecting me. After going out and back over not being able to hear, he them tells me Im not an authorized user on the account. Yet I just talked with them at length over the phone about said account. My kids need to be able to get onto school and I only have so much time to do things because I have to be home to take care of my husbands grandparents who are both on Hospice care. So its a huge disappointment when I cant get something done during the time that I can manage to get out of the house, especially when a company makes it absolutely more complicated than it has to be.

I wanted to leave a review because I had a wonderful and painless experience with the live chat on the website. Mandy was the best and super helpful!! I would give her 5 stars if I could just rate her. But I am giving an overall rating of a 3 because we continuously have issues with connections and it always takes multiple visits before anything gets remotely resolved. Spectrum TV is a company that have very poor customer service. I had a situation with moving from Orangeburg to Columbia,South Carolina. They turned my services off in orangeburg too soon. When I call to advised them about the problem they turned back on the orangeburg location, but they turned on the Columbia loction at the sametime. I told them of the problem. They made me pay a deposit for the Columbia locations, because they said that my orangeburg account was not settled . I spent almost 3 hours on the phone with the customer service people, I was told that they were going to take care of the situation, they informed me that they would call me back. They did not call back instead they handed my name to a collection agency. I ended up going with AT&T TV . I would not go back to that nightmare of a company again. Their product is good when it works.

Not a very productive visit, according to the clerk the system had a glitch and I couldnt conduct any business but payment. This was after waiting twenty minutes. Why all the best deals are for new customers, what about the long time customer. I guess that dont count for much with spectrum. Wow!

Poor customer service experience. Not surprising, because it’s a cable company and not one single one of them seems to understand how to treat their customers properly, but after adding an authorized user online, I was told that it couldn’t be done online and we would have to call in. I was rudely told to sit down and was returned to the back of the line, despite this error being the fault of Spectrum. Very frustrated, and wishing there were more options for service in this area. Also the waiting room is like a poor-mans Apple store. Kind of a strange vibe to go for.

Spectrum I understand you all are new but all the kinks and issues should be worked out by now. One of my many issues is the money taking machine was not even in the building (Columbia SC Five Points Location) so I had to wait about 30 minutes just to pay. No problem with waiting but its just an inconvenience! On the good side the employee did inform that I could use a money order for the drop box on my next visit or pay online so I did appreciate that!

100% hands down the worst customer service ever period. I have had to deal in person with this location twice and another time over the phone to get a service that was put on the account that was never authorized off. I was hired and put on the account as my client is stuck overseas due to Covid-19 and flight restrictions. They have been unable to get back to the US to deal in person. I was told the reason the service was changed was because they don’t offer the same package Time Warner offered.and they were no longer honoring those plans that were grandfathered in. Then told me I had no choice but to change a modem out.....Okay great ....again this is someone that is stuck out of the country how is this at all helpful. When I asked why were were not contacted prior to the drastic bill increase to do this she said We are not required to. But it’s off your account so you won’t be charged anymore and I asked about a refund as they have been charged for 6 months for a service (cable) that they don’t even have a box for. She told me they don’t handle that to call customer service. So basically good luck I would never suggest this company to anyone....they don’t care and are nasty and unhelpful in every regard.

The customer service here is terrible! I want to make it clear that I dont have an issue with Spectrum as an ISP. It is for now, just the incompetent customer service representatives that work at this location. Ive had to deal with Frankie in particular on two separate occasions where she has made my experience terrible. A few things that bothered me most about my visit to this store and having to deal with Frankie are as follows. She lacks empathy and clearly favors some customers over others. When I requested a manager three times on one of my visits I was denied each time. I was then told there was no manager at that store. I followed up by asking for a general or district manager that I could contact, I was also denied that. Furthermore, I was even more bothered when I swapped out a piece of equipment. I had to show my state ID inorder to do this which wasnt a problem. However, the equipment was exchanged without informing me that the name on my ID did not match the name on the account. I would find this out later that night when I called into Spectrum technical support to activate the equipment I picked up. The agent I spoke with on the phone made me aware that my last name was misspelled and corrected the issue. This makes me wonder why Frankie even asked for my ID if she wasnt going to confirm it matched the name on the account. I also wonder if someone with a name similar to mine would be able to pickup equipment or make changes to my account provided Frankie is the representative theyre working with.I hate to write a review on places where I have a bad experience. Weve all had an off day, but this goes beyond that. This is pure incompetence. There are plenty of people in this area that are capable of performing this job at a higher level and would welcome the opportunity.Im giving two stars due to almost every other encounter Ive had with Spectrum being positive. My hopes are that I wont have to return to this location in the future and Ill plan on driving the additional 14 miles to the next closest store.

I am a new customer. I called and placed my order on May 6th, 2020. I was told I would recieve tracking info on my box. By May 17th I still had not recieved the box or any tracking info. I called and spoke to an employee, and was told she could see that it had shipped and would be arriving the next day. It did not come the next day. I called and spoke to another employee that told me she had no idea why I was told it had shipped because the package had not shipped and there was no tracking info. After asking when it would ship, how long it would take, etc and not getting any clear answer I requested to pick up the box myself at a spectrum store. I also requested to speak to a manager and was told that he was on a different line and I would get a call back. I went and picked up the box and brought it home to set it up. Two days later I get a confrontation email telling me that my spectrum package has shipped and will arrive in two days. I called spectrum back and asked why the package hadnt been cancelled since it hadnt shipped when I requested to pick up the package, and that I was not happy I would have to return to the store. I was asked what would you like me to do? So I asked to speak to a manager. I explained the whole ordeal. He told me that my previous request to speak to a manger was never entered, no ticket to call back had been created.Today I went to the store to return the box, and I was told that they would not accept it. I had to bring it to UPS. Neither of the two employees I spoke on the phone said that I couldnt return the box to the store.If I could get internet with a different provider, I would. As a new customer, being lied to and constantly being told different things from different employees I have no faith in spectrum in being honest in the future. Its pretty clear that spectrum does not care about their customers.

Pretty bare-bones inside. Staff is courteous and knowledgeable. Not easy to park from the main road (Harden St.) best to make sure you turn right from Harden, too difficult (and dangerous) from the opposite side of the road. Very limited parking spaces.

I am currently on hold now. I have been on hold for the last 42 minutes and counting. At first, what seems to be a good call, turned into turmoil. The agent was nice and pleasant. However, I think he must have gotten fed up with the work he had to do. I tried to retrieve WiFi so that my little brother can do his homework online. They said the address that I just moved to has multiple accounts that are closed now that hasnt been paid. The agent told me that he would have to speak to another department and see if they can unblock the address for me. Well after waiting for 20 minutes, he got back on the line and said that I would have to send documents in to prove that I just moved here. Unfortunate, but I understood. So he started to tell me who I send the information to. I said say that again sir. He said hold on. Next thing I know he transferred me back into the Que and I am still on hold. Literally for 45 minutes. Seriously dude? all you had to do was tell me to call back tomorrow. Why did you transfer me? without telling me might I add. So I am highly upset with spectrum right now. P.S I have been hold for 53 minutes now STILL NO ANSWER. 🙄 hanging up and ending my review. #GreatCustomerService🙄 #AsIf

Always a line and a wait. Sometimes the visit is good, and sometimes a real pain. Lately my experiences with the counter personnel have been good, but in the past, rough. If you are running close to cutoff date, DO NOT put your payment in the night deposit!!! It is not processed there, but sent out of state and may take 7+ days to process.

When Spectrum changed from Time Warner, I lost half my channels and the price increased $50. The Internet is faster—true—but cable TV is a huge ripoff. Now the want to charge $7 for every TV in your home. The triple play bundle will increase about $70 after 12 months. Think twice!

HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! They have been charging my business for Business Wifi for almost 7 years!! We had no idea there was even a Spectrum wifi router in our building. They decided to increase the cost of their wifi on our last bill and when we noticed what the increase was for, I called them to have it removed from our account. I was then told by a supervisor that we couldnt receive even ONE months credit for a service we have NEVER used and didnt even sign up for!! When youre a monopoly, you could care less about customer service or satisfaction. If I treated my clients like this, I would go out of business!! Great job Spectrum, hope you go bankrupt!

Find another place to get Internet because all this place will do is Money Graham and blame it on you and tell you your Mahone when you never got the supposedly letter that they sent when you just signed up for a few months ago and they sent it as a being of the year. And even then the service stinks I was paying $70 a month for high-speed Internet and I wasn’t getting what I paid for. Every 20 minutes the Internet would go out and we have to get up and re-sent a router. Customer service was of no help they informed you wrong and even more so they were rude and unhelpful. Just go somewhere else.

I am fed up with spectrum. I have tried switching but spectrum is the only company that provides for my area. I don’t know how this is ethical seeing as they have a monopoly here. My internet is constantly down. They can’t send a technician for “a few days”...I have a full time job. I can’t afford to sit at home waiting for hours for your technician to show up..because they are never on time anyways.
