Our agent Daniel did a great job helping us sell our home. With COVID nearly everything was done virtually yet he kept us informed every step of the way. He sold our home much faster than we hoped or expected and it was a completely smooth process from listing to closing. Highly recommend!

As a first time home buyer, I had a good experience with Weichert. We worked with Daniel, who was extremely responsive and had great background about the areas in Maryland we were considering. There were a few situations when we felt overly-stressed by Daniels communication; i.e. hed let us know of a potential delay in the process or potential for the seller to pull out, but they were situations that dissipated within a few hours, were out of our control, and not cause for all the stress that he created. Overall, Id recommend leveraging Weichert, its always better to be fully aware of any bumps along the road in a process like home-buying.

They may have good reviews as realtors making a sale but as far as renting from this company it was a joke to say the least. After a 24 hour drive to our new rental house we were excited to be coming to, we walked in to a completely dirty house with no cleaning, preparation or care between us and the former tenant. The floors had stains, pet urine there was trash everywhere. The walls were dirty not painted in years and the carpet looked 10 years old. The back yard was full of junk. The garage and storage area was full of what we were told was the owners belongings. We were not allowed to move her stuff or use those areas. We had to complain and wait for people to come and clean and shampoo the carpets. Unfortunately when we rented the house the pictures online were very outdated so we obviously came to something very different. While living there we had to have an inspection every 3 months and let them take pictures of the inside of our house and belongings. The fake Maintenance team would come and patch things but without the owners authorization there was no care for things that were not deemed Major. Upon move out we were charged for ridiculous things that were already broken when we moved in so make sure you document every little thing in your move in papers. They also tried to charge me for removing all the owners belongings that lived there with us for 3 1/2 years. When we left we did weed eat, Rake and clean the yard but they still charged us $285 for this service. When I sent them photos disputing it Julia told me the HOA inspected the property 2 weeks prior to me moving out and there were overgrown weeds. Well in MD we all know how much it rains and we couldnt weed eat every day plus this was before we even moved out so how can they charged us for that is beyond me.We cleaned up the yard literally the day before we moved out and the yard was barely 75SFt so $285 seems a bit excessive. Even though I had pictures they didnt budge. They charged me for lightbulbs that were not even there when I moved in. The statement they gave me with the cahrges looked like a 5th grader wrote a list of chores to do. It was unprofessional and when I asked for an itemized statement of charges I never got one. I also asked to see my final water bill and was not provided that either. Julia and Gina both have ugly attitudes and getting a hold of Julia was like trying to contact the President. Erin and Shannon were the only decent people in that office. The owner decided to Sell the house and then this team was all over it! The only smooth part about living here was when I broke my lease due to deployment other wise I would say I dont recommend!

My wife and I were first time home buyers and didnt have a great understanding of how buying a home worked. We worked with David Vane and he was great! He was very knowledgeable of the areas we were interested in and very helpful walking us through the entire process. Everything was prompt and clear and professionally done. We highly recommend both David and the entire Weichert team!

We rented a property in Burtonsville MD for two years through this real estate agency. We always submitted maintenance requests as soon as an issue occurred and kept the house in good condition upon move out with only one damage we knew would be taken out of the security deposit. Throughout our time at the rental we had issues with the Weichert communicating with the homeowner (not the companys fault but at one point lead to the water to the house getting shut off for 24 hours because the owner did not pay the bill before leasing the house) and the most extreme issue we had was never addressed while we were tenants: the roof leaking into the third floor. This issue was reported with at least 6 months left in the lease but was never resolved before we moved out. Weichert did perform semiannual inspections up until COVID but we never received summaries of any issues that we needed to fix. After moving out we received the receipt for our security deposit and it there was so many issues they listed that we received less than a quarter of our deposit back, including rotting wood on the back panels that we were never made aware of needing repair from the semiannual inspection and replacing a light bulb that was working perfectly fine before we moved out. No pictures were attached to the security deposit and the receipt was not itemized so we have no clue how much they charged for each individual repair. My roommate and I are very disappointed with our experience with Weichert and we do not recommend using them as renters.

Amy Skora is a ROCK STAR agent. She helped me look for the right fixer-upper for a very, very long time! She was patient and supplied me with very helpful advice, as I am a first-time home buyer. We certainly had some adventures looking at homes that needed more than just a little fixing. We even experienced challenges & hurdles right up to closing. She took it all in stride, reassured me everything would be fine, and delivered what I consider to be the best Real Estate buying experience I could have asked for. :)

Mia is organized, sensitive to needs, and flexible to our sometimes adjusting needs. She helped us define success, priced our home perfectly for the offer, and helped create an opportunity for success. The other thing that stood out to us was how all the other professionals on the home ownership team (title officer, appraiser, sellers agent, loan officer, etc.) ALL had wonderful things to say about Mia. This showed us that we werent seeing a duplicitous person. She is thorough, professional, and helpful in all aspects of the job, and we appreciate that we were represented well. Frank Bozzonetti was a miracle worker. I had limited time to find a home. I had identified several homes online but when we went to see them, they werent anything like they were represented. Everything was done very professionally, particularly staging the house, the photography, posting to everything to the internet (which was beautiful), printing brochures, etc. We decided to sell over the holidays, which put us in a difficult market, but Frank and his crew were tireless; holding open houses nearly every weekend, talking to other brokers, etc. By January things really picked up, and we sold in early February. We had to play a little bit on our price given an uncertain market, but nothing too bad. Frank is a great guy, very personable and caring. Selling a home of course is a stressful endeavor, but Frank and his team did a fabulous job from beginning to end. Frank outlined the process and his role, and clarified expectations. He provided meaningful analytics and comps so that we could realistically price the house. It must have worked, because I had a strong offer within two weeks! Weichert/McKenna & Vane also provided a professional photographer to showcase the property, and she did a great job. I got many compliments on the quality of the photographs which realistically depicted the property. They also provided an expert in staging the house properly, and she gave me a detailed report of what needed to be done. It was very realistic and doable and I followed her recommendations to the letter! One of her recommendations was to move some pieces of furniture out to storage. I live alone, and the furniture was too heavy for my gf to assist, so Frank jumped in and helped me move about 6 pieces of moderately heavy/bulky furniture to the garage. Frank conducted a couple of open houses and provided great feedback. Frank was available 24/7 and returned calls promptly. Naturally, there were inevitable glitches along the way with my buyer, but Frank served as a strong advocate and negotiator who saw the deal through to completion. I have moved many times during my former military career, and have worked with a number of realtors. Frank and his team outshines them all with his knowledge of the market, attention to detail, timeliness, and optimistic approach. Frank was recommended to me by a colleague who has high expectations for success, and she was thrilled with his support - as am I, obviously. I did interview a couple of other local agents, but they provided the sunshine and roses responses to hard questions I posed, such as What are the weaknesses of the property that we need to consider in pricing? and basically said things that any anxious seller would like to hear. I have dealt with these types in the past, and the results were never optimal or even satisfying. Frank provided a realistic assessment of the propertys strengths and weaknesses, from a buyers perspective. I greatly appreciated his forthright approach. I highly recommend that you at least interview Frank if you are seriously interested in selling your house quickly, and at a great price.

Own rental property in Elkridge - have worked with Weichert New Colony for the past 7-8 years. They have always been able to find me qualified tenants quickly. Had repairs done to my house this winter and they were able to arrange things so that the tenants moved in the day after the repairs were completed! No down time at all. When you have a rental property, time is money. They were able to save me a ton 😀! Will definitely call them again when I need a realtor. Best thing about them is that they have a great team of people who really care about their customers.

I had a wonderful experience selling my house and buying a new house under the guidance and expertise of David Vane with Weichert New Colony. I actually met David in 2016 when I purchased a home from him (he owned the house). I unfortunately had to sell said home this year, so I asked David Vane to be my realtor. This was the best decision I could have made. David is a pro! He has many years of experience, he is knowledgeable and confident, and quite frankly he gets stuff done! I listened to David and followed his recommendations based on his expertise, and my house sold in 12 hrs (full price offer). After the inspection, there were a few little things I needed to have fixed and I asked David to take care of it. His company works with various contractors (e.g. plumbers, electricians, etc) so I didnt have to make a single call or worry about anything.Once my house was under contract, David and I went out the very next day looking for a new house for me to buy. I found one I liked and David put in the offer that night. His advice to me was crucial during negotiations and I got the house and some closing help from the seller. We had some delays closing on the new house (from the sellers end) and David kept me updated and was in constant touch with the sellers realtor. I now own the house, and David is still helping me arrange for some electrical work to be done.House selling/buying can be a very stressful and emotional process, but David Vane made the experience a pleasure.
