So, my regular nail shop was closed and I needed my nails filled and a pedicure, worst place ever it was like he thought if he was half nice it didnt matter how my nails or toes looked, Ive been with my nail tech for 20 years and never knew that people are not aware of this kind of treatment. He wouldnt even let me pick out a polish I normally get but watched me and than gave me some knock off that doesnt even look as good at all. That was Saturday and I already need another fill, and Im pretty sure the acrylic powder is not legal in this country.

Wow, I loved my experience at Elegance Nails! The space is clean and they offer a wide variety of polish colors. Both techs who worked on my nails were super friendly and helped explain the process. They paid excellent attention to detail and made sure I left with exactly what I wanted. My nails turned out beautifully! I can’t wait to come back soon and use one of their new pedicure chairs. Highly recommend!

Me and mom started coming here about 2 or 3 months and we love coming here to get pampered! We are always happy when we leave. They make you feel welcomed.

Prices are good but you get what you pay for. I went in to get a full set of acrylics and the man who did them put the acrylic over my actual finger and it dried on top. I then had to ask them to redo them. Not even a full day after, one of my nails already lifted, I had to go back and I was there an hour to get one nail fixed. I’m now on vacation 5 days after the initial appointment and two more have lifted. Although they’re priced good I won’t go back because the quality is terrible.Update: nails lasted 7 days

The pedicures were fine, but when they did my nails, the manicure was done quickly and inefficient. My nails do not look good. They were more concerned about getting people in and out quickly. Most disturbing, it was not a clean place.

Had a gel manicure last week and the gentleman that did it took his time and my nails came out perfect!!!!

We arrived 15 minutes early to choose our colors for our appointment. Once we chose our colors we had to wait an extra 45 minutes until she started our nails. They didn’t have the colors that we chose, I asked for a periwinkle, I got a light blue. My friend chose a color that matched her prom dress, she didn’t get her color either. Then when she started my nails she took a 10 minute break to eat, once my appointment had already started. My nails are very uneven, they still look good but it’s a little disappointing. She also said I can’t have coffin shaped because the nails are too short, they aren’t but it’s okay I guess. They are really nice and clean but I wouldn’t go here if you want it made exactly how you are planning to, and if you are in a rush.

So the only reason they are getting a 1 star is because they were friendly. First time here and only time Ill be here. The facility is really dirty. They cut me, my nails are bumpy and uneven, and they look like Ive had them on for a week already. They then charged my card for me and my step daughters services without asking (we were paying separately) and had the nerve to ask why I wasnt leaving a tip. Please dont waste your money here.

It was a really bad experience - I can’t recommend enough to not go here. It was not sanitary - they don’t use new packages of tools between people and they have communal scrub bars for pedicures. No liners in the pedicure tub either. My dip nails look awful and I was there for 2 1/2 hours total. Apparently it costs extra to get your cuticles pushed back & cut too. It was super sloppy and overall, not worth my time or money at all.

The service here was amazing!! They really were so kind. The environment was so quiet and peaceful. I felt very relaxed! I would 100% recommend this nail shop if you were in the Columbia area, and want to go to a nail shop that is very respectful and welcoming. Plus they also do an amazing job!!!

Service was great, super polite and efficient. They obviously care about the quality of their work and what you leave with. Me and my friend got pedicures and were satisfied with the ease of reserving time and receiving service.

It’s a family business, they took their time. I loved my pedicure, and they went above and beyond on my daughters pedicure. My gel looks great. The regular polish they used didn’t fully cure though rubbed off after 20 minutes. So get gel if you go.

The color of my nails was so pretty and I loved them!!! The shape and length was all off though. I got coffin shaped and they look like almonds!! Also, I got my nails done Sunday - it is now Thursday and they have all fallen off. I called to ask for a refund, but they said no!! I will not be going back to them ever. Make sure you actually like your nails before leaving here!!

I enjoyed getting my nails done today. The nail tech did amazing job. He periodically stopped to ask me if I liked the shape and feel and color of my nails. Very clean environment, as well as affordable prices.

Such a friendly guy who takes his time to do the best he can regardless what you’re asking for and always does what you actually ask. Also, might I add that it’s extremely hard to find someone who can do the shape you truly want. Take it from someone who has been to nearly every nail salon in Columbia.... you won’t regret giving him a try!

The place is nice, the people are nice, but the nail job I got was NOT nice. It’s super bumpy, and uneven, it doesn’t look professionally done . For it to look like this is NOT worth the price I paid. Won’t be going back.

The older gentleman and husband (owner) are very nice and thorough and do a great job with nails. The wife (owner) is a bit of a gossip and easily get distracted. The first time I went here I learned all about her life.. when I got a facial, she picked a towel off the floor to use for me... her kid kept coming in and being loud. I get having your kid in your establishment cause daycare is expensive but it was supposed to be a relaxing, clean experience. The building is nice and the prices are fair. the nail polish has variety as well as their knowledge of stiles. just dont expect to be overly impressed.

Susan is amazing! I came in with a damaged full set & she took them all off delicately, glued my broken nail back together, and gave me a brand new set. She shaped them perfectly! We had great conversation; shes so bubbly and fun. I started coughing while she was doing my nails & she pulled out a cough drop for me! It was amazing. She even lotioned my hands for me and gave me tips how to care for my skin. Amazing service, highly recommend!! Also the salon is beautiful and well cared for. 10/10. Found my new nail salon!!

I have been to other nail salons here in Columbia and walked out due to their bad service. On one of those days, my daughter and happen to be out driving and saw Elegance Nails. We decided to give them a try. 2 years later we are still going to Elegance Nails. Susan and Ken are always friendly when we come in! Highly recommend this place as your go to nail salon!

Susan did the most amazing job on my nails. She took her time... even stayed open an hour late to work on mine... then finished my sisters. She never rushed and took her time!!! My nails look amazing!!!!!!! I feel like a celebrity!!!

Appointment times mean nothing. I called ahead and set up an appointment at 6pm. I got to my appointment at 5:50pm. I was not greeted when walking in or asked if I had appointment, but they were with other clients so I patiently waited until 6:15. At 6:15 I was asked what I needed done. I explained I had an appointment at 6 to get acrylic nails. Then at 6:20 the staff member that was almost done with the client they were working on and starts asking someone else what he can get start for them. At that point I say again “I had an appointment at 6 and I have to be somewhere at 7:30. Should I reschedule or will it be okay?” I was reassured I would be done in time. At 6:30 a staff member is finally ready to get me in and I, again, ask to make sure I will be done in time. At that point both people I have talked to now start saying “well we probably don’t have time” “what you want takes longer” “we are busy”. I am usually more than happy to wait but I scheduled an appointment for a reason. Had I not been told on the phone I would get in at 6, I would have came much earlier to make sure I could wait the hour+ it seems to take to get in. Had I not been told I would get done in time after asking twice, I would not have waited around for 30 minutes just to be told they don’t have time for me.

I absolutely love this place. I have been going here for a few years now, and I was hooked from the first time. The pedicures are relaxing and perfect every time, the gel lasts FOREVER, and the full sets are flawless! I love going here for my acrylics and Ive recently fell in love with the deluxe pedicures. Very clean and beautiful inside. The prices are great, and even better because the service is amazing. Theres always a friendly smiling face greeting me. They make great conversation! Ill never go anywhere else.

I had a poor experience at another salon in town and came to Elegance for a refill after searching for a nail salon on Google. I was greeted with a knowledgeable, professional male manicurist who did a phenomenal job fixing the poor job from the last nail salon and even helped me pick a color I am more than happy with! The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and the experience was relaxing. I was more than happy to bring my out of state relative to get her nails done here, too!

Love this place!! Everytime I come in the workers are so nice and friendly. I love how they actually talk to you too while theyre doing your nails. It has a great atmosphere and so fancy looking on the inside. I actually came in when they were closed one day and they went ahead and gave me a pedicure anyways! I will never go to another nail salon unless its elegance.

First time visiting here yesterday and I LOVED it! There was no wait and Ken was EXTREMELY nice to me. He restarted my nails once I told him I didn’t like the length with no problem or attitude. He really took his time to do my nails and the shape is AMAZING! It’s very hard to find quality nail service in Columbia. I will be a regular customer at Elegance. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! One star is far too generous. I wanted to put 0. This was the WORST service I have EVER received. I took my bridal party there a couple days before my wedding. We all wanted pedicures and manicures. I had made an appointment 2 months in advance. They were completely understaffed (we had 4 people and they had 4 people working PLUS many other customers all at the same time). They probably had 12 customers they were all 4 trying to do pedicures and manicures on at the same time. Because of this, they spent very little time on our nails. My pedicure lasted less than 10 minutes. They did no nail trimming, no cuticles, no massage, nothing. In fact, I do not think the person who did my feet had ever even done a pedicure before. They did not have most the colors in gels we chose. my acrylic manicure was TERRIBLE. all the nails were incredibly thick, uneven, and poorly painted. they did 3 coats of paint on one hand and 2 on the other. It looked awful. I complained to the women about how bad it was and she told me she would add more paint. Nope wasnt more paint that I needed. But they were so understaffed that they could not actually take care of their customers. They also changed the price on us when we went to pay by $5 dollars each. They still made us pay. Even though their work was awful. Because it was my wedding and I would have pictures of my hands done I ended up going to another place in town to have them fixed the night before my wedding. The acrylic nails did not even last one week. WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND.

They did not have colors to match gel for your toes. The sixth color I chose finally had a match. She did a sloppy job getting polish under my nails in some spots and told me it was to make it last longer. It was simply spilled under with bright red in some places. When I questioned it she told me I don’t understand how gel works. This was my second worst experience ever. She did have good English but was not professional and they don’t have colors. I should have known when it wasn’t busy. I thought I was just lucky.

I had been going to Elegance for about 2 years but recently decided to go elsewhere. Kent was always very polite and personable. I made appointments and he was almost always ready to start on me within 15 to 20 minutes of my appointment time. I decided to leave because lately Kent seemed to be a little less particular about how my nails looked. I started noticing my nails weren’t smoothed out and filed down very well and the main thing that bothered me was my nails seemed to be crooked and not filed evenly. I would always say something but even after saying something, they were still somewhat crooked. The other lady, possibly his wife, only did my fill once and she was very sloppy with the final product. I hope they will see this and possibly improve for other customers. They also need a better assortment of nail polishes.

I would give this salon zero stars if I could. This salon ruined my nails and my gel manicure was a joke. The gel was no given enough dry time user the lamp so the coats were separating THAT NIGHT! Two nails broke by the next day and she refused to give me my money back with I even offered to let her keep the 14 dollars (20%) tip I gave her. She is also apparently the owner of this salon too and clearly does not take value in good business after how terrible this experience was for me. I was there for 3 hours when there was only 2 other costumers in the salon. This was also the dirtiest salon I have ever seen. It barely looked like they have cleaned up in days and the owner even admitted on Sundays she never cleans up. She was on and off her phone multiple times trying to sell me skin care when I already sell a line myself. This salon has zero integrity and are a bunch of thieves.

I spent 3hrs to get a dip powder and the guy did them he did horrible job he didn’t want to fix them and he wanted to charge me more to fix it 0 from 10

You cannot help but leave here in a good mood! It was exactly what I needed today. The young girl who did my nails was so beautiful, mature, and professional. She did a great job. Everyone here clearly has a great friendship, and you can feel the positive energy. I will definitely be back.Ps- tip well! They are saving for a trip to Mexico!

Lots of issues here too many to list so here is the biggest one. We had visited here a couple years ago and remember how long it took as we came in in a group of 4 and they didnt have enough technicians to handle 4 pedicures at the same time. So fast forward we called ahead and told them that this time we had 3 people and we didnt have all day, could they handle 3 pedicures at the same relative time? They said they could we asked several times in several different ways to make sure they understood. We came at our appointed time....not enough technicians! Again it took 2+ hours for 3 pedicures. We wont return!

Very good nail salon i have ever been to. First time visiting here today and they provided me such a great customer services ever. Everyone was very nice and sweet to me. I got Manicure Gell for $25 which was very cheap for such a high quality products they used on my nails. My technician was very talented, she made my nails look so fancy and beautiful. They cleaned up everything after every customers and that made me feel very safe. They also kept everything inside the salon clean and well organized. I highly recommend this nail salon to anyone and definitely come back again.

I had the best experience with pedicure. I never know there was a difference in pedicure. I had the deluxe pedicure and what a relaxing feeling ever. On top I had manicure gel polish that lasted very long. I recommend everyone to go and try for yourself.

Susan is the best. She is very detailed. Easily fixed a shotty job I got somewhere else a while back. I wont go anywhere else. I would suggest an appointment though. Very busy.

My daughter had acrylic nails done last Sunday 8-4-19 and has already had 6 nails come of and it has only been 5 days since she had them done. Have been to a couple different places to have our nails done and never had this ever happen.

They took three hours to do a pedicure and gel polish manicure. She didnt cut my cuticles, she left the file dust on my nails as she started painting on the gel and I left with gel that had not fully cured to my nails. They bubbled up within an hour and were peeling off by the time I went to bed. When I went back to get them fixed, the store was not open even tho the hours on the door and website said they should be. I called and asked to be refunded. They refused to refund me. They were not willing to fix them. The bathroom was very dirty. They disregarded the fact that I had to rearrange my entire day to stay there for three hours in the first place.Worst experience I have ever had at a nail place.

Horrible. My daughter wanted ombre and they had a picture advertising for this place. The one tech that could do that was on vacation. We are new to the area so... we waited the guy said it would be an hour to wait but, my mom and daughter waited for 2 hours before they were worked on. Then ONE day later my daughters pinky nail CAME OFF!!! My mom got a pedicure and manicure with gel on her nails and regual polish on her toes, they charged her 60 bucks ...they then charged 70 bucks for my daughter she got a full set and pedicure. Over priced and poor quality.

The service was absolutely terrible. I went in about 11 and there was only one worker there, so I had to wait an hour for another employee (the owner) to come in and she arrived late. After she got there and was trying to hurry, she scrapped off my previous shellac, damaged my nails, and then painted my nails and inside my nail bed. Her finished work was absolutely terrible. Upon her finishing, I asked her why she had painted so far and onto my actual finger and she said, its normal. After explaining to her that it isnt, she refused to fix my nails. Two days later, my nails started chipping and coming up, so on the third day, I went up there and asked her and she said she couldnt help. I explained to her that every other place my shellac stays on for literally 3 weeks--while going to school fuIl time and working.The workers there are not understanding and not helpful at all. Theyre impatient and not very nice. I wouldnt recommend their work at all.

There are a lot of good reviews on this nail salon but i personally had a horrible experience. My friend and I came in and they did not tell my friend that there was only 1 person that knew how to do a fill and so she sat there waiting while other people were able to get their nails done before her. I was given a manicure but really all that was done was a horrible job and trying to file my nails and a slight massage. I had so many hang nails left and dry skin that was left on my hands. It was fairly cheap but this will not be a place that I go back to.

I walked in and asked how much a set of nails are and the little gal told me $25. When we were done she said it was $30. When I asked what the extra $5 was for she said long nails. They werent long by any means! I had a fit so she didnt charge me. She pushed the skin away from the nails, which everyone does. But on one finger she drew blood. It is now ref, swollen, infected. It was been 1 week. I was not asked if I wanted my nails rounded or squared off. She did it the way she wanted. I decided to give Susan another try and went back for gels. I guess I misunderstood. I thought asking for gels meant actual nails like acrylic only gel. So I got just gel polish...expensive. My nails ended up in the worse shape of my life. I had no choice but to go back and tell her to take it off. She said my nails were in that shape because I use them too much. Ive worked in some nasty chemicals and never looked like this. Anyway, I reminded her what she told me about the $25-$30 thing when I first went to her. She said no that was because she took off nsil polish for me. Then she turned around and told another girl the same thing! My nails are really sore, 8 hours later. But the locale is so good....

I went to Elegance nails with a group. They did an awesome job making our entire group feel special. I am disappointed, however, with my gel manicure as in just 3 days all of the gel nails have popped off. Wish I would have just gotten a simple manicure as that would have lasted just as long.

Very rude and unprofessional. Asked her to fix a nail because it was not looking right and some nails didnt get proper coating. She refused to fix the nails and told me that [she has] been doing nails for 20 years and [she] doesnt see anything wrong with my nails. I told her I wasnt going to argue with her and when I got up to pay she did not say thank you or anything. I did not give her a tip because she was too rude. You cant treat customers like their opinion doesnt matter and then expect to be rewarded.

This nail salon does not even deserve 1 star. My daughter and her friends went into the salon wanting pedicures and what they received was horrible service. The owner had her teenage son and girlfriend giving the pedicures. After my daughter complained, the owner agreed with her on how they looked. She had her husband reapply the polish and still the polish was all over her toes. She sent pictures of her feet and it looked as if a small toddler applied the polish.Her toenails are uneven and different colors due to applying 2 coats to some toenails and 3 coats on other toenails.When I called to speak to the owner she told me she was the manager. Then after telling her my situation she then became the owner and was extremely rude blaming the entire problem on my daughters nail polish she brought in herself. I still am not sure how the nail polish could be blamed for getting all over my daughters toes and not the person who was applying the product. When my daughter went back in to get her refund the owner then stated she would only give the money back if she removed the nail polish off of her toenails!! I have never heard of a business owner acting so unprofessional. She was more than happy to let her remove the polish. Im sure the owner did not want anyone to see the horrible pedicure that her salon performed.Not worth the aggravation or definitely not worth the money.

My lady friend had an appointment which she needed to change. We tried to start calling well before they opened and never got an answer until almost 30 minutes after the scheduled opening time. Then we got someone to answer the phone whose English was so poor we could barely understand her. I tried to tell her my friend needed to reschedule her appointment but all we could understand from her was the owner would not be there for 20 minutes and to call back then. Needless to say we never bothered calling back nor did we reschedule the appointment. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS JOKE OF A BUSINESS!

I went in yesterday in person and set up an appointment for today at 10:30, they took my name and number when setting up the appointment, but I show up for my appointment today and the doors locked, lights off. I understand emergencies happen, thats why you had my number, though they didnt bother to call it. This was my 1st time at this salon, 1st impressions speak volumes and I will Never waste my time at such an Unprofessional salon again. Very disappointing!!
