I love MD Music Academy! Nancy, the owner is beyond perfect, so friendly and knowledgeable. Were renting my 8 yr olds violin from here and plan to start taking lessons soon as well. When we first visited to pick out her violin, we were shown multiple options (not cheap ones either) and when my daughter had issues (her chin rest was bothering her), Nancy fixed the problem by finding another chin rest that fit her more comfortably (this happened 3 times). Rental and lesson prices are very reasonable and we are very pleased. We used Music & Arts for rental and lessons before, but were really thankful we found this place. Thank you MD Music Academy for always helping us with such dedication!!

Have not taken lessons here, but highly recommend Maryland Music Academy for instrument rentals. Theyre very friendly and handled the whole rental process smoothly. Much nicer, more personal experience than renting from the big music chains. And the rental rates are very competitive! Worth a look if youve got a child starting out on an instrument.

My child got a free lesson when we rented our violin. Great teachers! This is really a family-friendly place. Theres a childrens play area, comfortable lobby, free Wi-Fi, and a snack bar.
