I always get my steaks at Ole Timey St. Andrews. Their bacon wrapped filet mignons are fantastic. Yesterday, I bought steaks and new for me, their Southern biscuits, country ham and catfish nuggets. This morning, I prepared a country ham biscuit (in the oven). It was awesome!

Its okay. Nothing fancy. Its as close to a butcher as you will get around here. Im starting to think real butchers and charcuterie are a thing of the past. Ive shopped here on multiple occasions over the past 20 years. No real complaints. I wish they carried prime or better and Waygu beef but I think it may be hard sell for them in this area. As I said no complaints and I will continue to shop with them.

Wonderful staff and inviting atmosphere. Our meat specialist, I wish I would have gotten his name, was the best. Between handling our needs, attending to regular inventory and helping with suggestions. The cashier and lady behind the checkout counter were a delight as well. All in all, I would definitely recommend and we will be returning.

I shop at Ole Timey Meat Market on St Andrews road regularly and the quality of the meat is hands down the best Ive ever had. Normally the customer service is also exemplary, but todays trip was a different story. I went in around 12:30 and a dark haired lady helped me. Even though I asked for three big filets she grabbed the first ones she came to and packaged them up with no regard to my request. Ill continue to shop there but will try to gravitate to more helpful customer representatives in the future.

Ole Time Meat Market St Andrews is the only place that I buy meat and salmon. The quality of their products is outstanding and I am able to buy meat and salmon in the exact quantity that I desire. The staff are all friendly, courteous and helpful. Furthermore they are able to provide me information about the various cuts of meats which helps me to determine the best cut of meat for my recipes. This store is a jewel

Great local butcher. They are able to cut whatever thickness you prefer if its not already in the display. Very nice people as well.

We LOVED our 3.75# choice prime rib cut for Christmas. Amazingly tender. The place is clean and doesnt smell like rotten meat the way some butcher places do. ❤️

The shrimp kabobs are worth the trip alone. They are made fresh daily and so easy to cook. Great value!! I also love how friendly and attentive the staff is! Why pay more at the chain stores for lesser quality, shop local you wont be disappointed!!

Havent been to Ole Timey in awhile. I will be returning there this week to purchase some meat. I love this market because their meat is always quality tasty. I advise anyone looking for fantastic meat and Customer Service, OLE TIMEY is the place.

Would. Like to see more covid precautions here as they deal directly with the food. Masks are not required and staff does not wear them either. This place is an institution and will provide very high quality products and the staff is very friendly. Anytime I need something special on request, I can absolutely count on them to take care of it.

I went to the St. Andrews location on NYE for some fresh shrimp based on my co-workers experience but was highly disappointed. The next morning when I opened the package, it had a very fishy smell which indicates they were old. I was so looking to make this my meat market as well. Will try again but will as for a smell test before purchase.

They have great meats that actually taste better than any other meat we have bought from any where. I do recommend the old timey meat market

Visited the Irmo store to buy several items. Decided to try a small chuck roast, after picking out chicken/ pork chops. Cooked in crockpot the next day. Omg! the best roast I’ve every had. Could cut it with a fork. Makes me wonder what I’ve been buying in grocery stores all these yrs. The quality is top notch. Keep up the good work!

This meat tastes like magic! for all of my life ribeye has been my favorite cut of meat but tonight I cooked filets wrapped in bacon after rubbing them in fresh squeezed lime juice, it was definitely the best steak Ive ever prepared and maybe the best Ive ever had in my 40 years of steak

Local meats non gmo and no preservatives or growth hormomes. From left to right sausage no onion which is a se one option. Standing rib roast in middle soon to be prime rib. Same as ripeness as far as meat goes. On right is bacon regular not thick sliced which is an option. Several locations. Largest inventory is in Lexington. We go to st Andrews in Columbia.

I went to ole times on st. Andrews road. I bought some ground beef that I thought was ground chuck. When I got to the register I noticed it was a different price on the package. The lady behind the counter said i told you it was ground round. No you didnt say that. You never said anything but it was ground beef. The price said $3.59lb. So they argued with me. I said that is alright ill pay whatever. Next time Ill take my business to caughman meat market. Ive been coming to this place and spending my money for 20 years. Wow. Im done.

We went there on a Friday. They were so friendly and knowledgeable! This place has all types of fresh meats, the BEST PIMENTO CHEESE ( made in store ), frozen vegetables, the Best Fresh Steak cuts, roasts, ribs, chicken, Sausage, anything you can image! They even have made in store chicken salad, egg salad! Did I say the Pimento Cheese was the Best we ever tasted? My husband used to dislike Pimento cheese until he tasted theirs theirs. After hearing good things, we decided to give this place a try. I picked up two racks of ribs—$5.99 per lb. Seemed a little expensive, but I figured it must be worth the money. Got home and found the meat green/brown with a bad odor. It was spoiled! I will never set foot inside this place again.

The prices are very reasonable, and the quality of all of their products is far beyond any grocery near me! I love the kielbasa especially, and the country ribs are the leanest Ive ever had and a steal for the money. My new favorite place for meat!

My husband and I normally go to the one in Lexington. I just left out of there and the young lady at the register was extremely pleasant and nice to everyone in front of me. I was the only African American in the store at the time. As soon as I come to the register she just grabs my meat, rings it up and reaches for my card. I said Hello to you too. She said nothing back. I will no longer go here. I felt like I was dealing with a racist. So they won’t get anymore of my money. Visited 3/9/19 @2:15pm

Feel free to go in here if you want to be closely watched and rushed. I was probably in the tiny store for less than 5 minutes and wanted to look around at what they had to offer although I was there for one specific thing. I was asked if I needed help and I said I was just looking. I saw another black woman in the store approached in a similar way as she looked. The colorful haired clerk behind the meat case walked up to my husband and I and stared at us while we were discussing what we might want to buy. I was uncomfortable and left without purchasing anything. I’m not sure if they need better sales tactics or diversity training. Old Timey Meat Market indeed. I won’t be going back.

I have shopped at Ole Timey for over 30 years. They offer all types of meat, but they excel when it comes to the quality of their beef. You can tell the difference in the taste from Ole Timey versus any grocery store. Their ground beef is ground on site, not packaged hundreds of miles away and sealed to fake product freshness (sorry, Walmart). The filets are tender and delicious and will save you a trip downtown (sorry, Ruths Chris). Great place for meat!

I used to frequent Ole Timey, but I am not happy with their prices going up and up not in relation to meat prices at other places. I still like them for some of their unique items, but these days Id rather just patronize some of the local grocery stores whos meat tastes as fresh and at a fraction of the cost. The last time I visited was two visits a day apart. In that one day, $2.00 was added per pound to a certain cut of meat. I left and bought the same cut at literally almost half this new price. The meat I saw on day #2 was the SAME meat that was there on day #1.I will give them praise on their customer service, variety of meats, and cleanliness, but for me it is just not worth the extra cash. To each their own.

Quickly waited on, purchased some phenomenal pimento cheese, two racks of ribs, and pork shoulder. Butchers were excellent and was greeted quickly by many. Will return!

Excellent fresh cut steaks, fresh ground beef, fresh seafood, a variety of sausages and lots more. Their homemade hotdog chili is great! Plus their service is also great.

For lunch today I went through Sonic for a cheeseburger combo -total $8 Then I came here to get filet mignon for dinner - total $7.50! The steak with Pirates gold melts in your mouth! Im not going back to Outback and pay $29 for same cut or spend $8 on crappy burger Im just going to come here and it steak!

The friendliest staff in town!! Everyone is always very inviting, and helpful! ! The meat and other products are delicious. The last time I was there I purchased filet mignon by the pound. They were the most tender and delicious filets I have ever eaten.

Im a plumber and stay busy I called the Lexington store on North lake drive where I used to buy meats which I thought were over priced compared to their competition .any I told the worker on the phone I needed some soup bones and I specified Marrow bone three times also I said I wanted cut in 1inch pieces I told him I would stop by and pick them up I specified please have them ready for me because I was out doing ready i should have leservice calls and dont have time to wait for them to be cut up.he said no problem it would be ready when I got there and asked for the bones he said they were not I should have left then but I waited the 30 minutes it took him anyway I told them over and over I wanted Marrow bone when I got the bones which where 2 bones I didnt see any Marrow he stated its because the are frozen so behind on my one work now I believe d him and paid them 26.00 for fiber bones which I found out after thawing I wanted these for my dogs I feel ripped e or thoff I could feed them steak for less I went to caughmans meat plant in Lexington got Marrow for a third of what they charged me and got what and how I asked for it
