Re: Virtual Academy- I recently completed the 6 week virtual academy through Krav Maga Maryland. During this 6 week period I had the opportunity to work with Jeremy & Evelyn. Their knowledge and way in which they are able to transfer this knowledge is beyond reproach. It was an honor to have the opportunity to work with and interact with both Jeremy and Evelyn. If you are even the slightest bit interested in Krav Maga, I highly recommend this virtual academy.Krav Maga Maryland is not just a Krav Maga Worldwide school. Ive been training at KMMD for a little over 6 months now. First things first, its the best gym/training center Ive ever been to. In fact, its more than a gym, its a family, its the first time in my life that Ive felt excited about a workout. All the instructors are exceptionally knowledgeable and take a personal interest in my progress. Theyve encouraged me to overcome any physical or mental barriers that I had and I have achieved such progress in my strength and abilities which I never deemed possible. Even the support staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating to anything that one might need. And if youre having a really bad day, theres always Gretchen who cheers you right up.To anyone whos thinking about Krav Maga or just training to be fit I would say dont hesitate even for a moment. Its the best investment Ive made so far.

Krav Maga is one of the most important things in my life. I have never done anything like this, have never even belonged to a gym or played a sport. My nephew recommended it, and when he and I observed a class at Krav Maga Maryland, I thought, you have to be kidding, I could never do something like this! A week later I was back for a trial class with Elizabeth and have been training ever since. I am a slow learner and Krav does not come easily for me, which makes it even more worthwhile. I am generally always the oldest person in class, but my teachers have always, always made me feel comfortable. I have been in training for awhile now and the staff is the reason I have stayed. I have the total support of my teachers. Every teacher has been kind and encouraging as well as challenging. They push me to do my best. They inspire me.

What I look for in a training center are great classes, friendly staff/students, and a clean and safe environment. Krav Maga Maryland gives you all of these things and more. You sweat and get a great workout like you would at any gym, but you leave this facility with the skills and knowledge that could save your life one day. Def contact them if youre looking for quality self defense training.

I joined Krav MD for the 6 week challenge and successfully lost 6.2% body fat and 8 pounds ! At first, I was nervous about the challenge but I found that there was no reason to be. All they ask for is that you put in the work and do your best. The members and coaches are like a big family. During one of my first workouts, I felt very tired and I wanted to quit. Then the entire class joined me for my last round of burpees and pushups after they already finished theirs. It was really encouraging having everyone cheer me on. Krav Maga Maryland in Columbia is the perfect place to go if youre looking to build your confidence and enhance your personal fitness. Ive been a student for about a year and half and can testify from personal experience how much they invest in you.In terms of confidence, they take the time to make sure you understand each self defense move by helping you build your skill set at a pace that ensures you will be ready to defend yourself should the need arise. This doesnt mean you will stagnate either. They will help you progress through the levels of training, and you will continue to build upon a foundation you gain from the beginning onward as you learn more and more.In regards to fitness, they ramp up the intensity as you progress through the training so that your endurance level grows alongside your abilities. Increased fitness means a happier, longer life (and safer given that youre learning how to protect yourself!).From my perspective, Im really glad I started going to Krav. If what I said above resonates with you at all, I think you might too.

I really wanted to take classes at Krav Maga for many years but when I finally got the chance and enrolled after an excellent trial class, my work schedule did not allow me to take classes. I requested for a cancellation and instead of being professional, Krav Maga member services were never available on the phone or email and kept putting it off while continuing to charge me every week. It would have been professional of them to stop charging my account if there was not enough staff to handle my concern. As much as I have liked the fitness program at Krav Maga, I am very dissatisfied with member service. For an organization that is committed to helping men and women with self-defense and fitness, this is beyond unprofessional.## Thank you for your response. I appreciate it.

I recently participated in the KMMD 6 week challenge to lose 20 pounds, and everything about my experience was amazingly positive. The class schedule is versatile so I could change up my training program every week and the instructors are phenomenal. I trained in Jason’s Strength and Conditioning classes and every single class he helped me push my physical and mental limitations, while still respecting those boundaries. Jason also supported me through my 6 week challenge-through the ups and downs- and helped keep me on track when things didn’t go as I had planned. I also trained with Elizabeth and Jeremy on level 1 Krav classes. Both are fantastic instructors with very different teaching styles. I loved training with Elizabeth because she helped me focus on technique and also knew exactly how to inspire me to use my emotions to fuel my training. By the end of every class I felt like I had improved. Jeremy is the type of instructor that you don’t know whether to run from or to-and that is so great! I have never been pushed or cheered on as hard as I was in Jeremy’s classes. And even outside of class, Jeremy is invested in his students’ goals and achievements.Overall, KMMD is the best gym I have ever been a part of. The staff is friendly and supportive, and you train side by side with people who will push you and cheer you on when you feel like giving up. You must be absolutely sure of your commitment. You could be stuck with a years worth of payments. Just like other gym memberships everyone goes in intending that they are going to go every week. Then reality sits in and your stuck paying until the year is over. It would be much better if they had shorter periods. Maybe a 2 or 3 month trial period. This would make it consumer friendly. Unlikely, that they will do it because of the likely steep drop in membership. THIS IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. It can be quite physically demanding. So be sure before you signup.

I come from a LONG martial arts background (27 plus years) covering a wide variety of traditional styles (both hard and soft) so finding a new place to train and workout can be difficult as most places that bill themselves as martial arts training schools do not openly welcome new comers with a vastly different background. The world of martial arts can be very closed minded; this is coming from experience, not mere opinion. This has NOT been the case with Krav Maga Maryland in Columbia. From the first class I took they treated me with respect and welcomed me into their school to train without casting aspersions on my past experience or training. This is NOT a traditional style of martial arts…but if you are interested in Krav then you should have already done your research and should know that walking in the door. There are no katas, forms or other distractions that you find in those traditional styles. These things do serve a purpose in those styles but not here. Everything is direct and based on the principle of getting you out of a bad situation in the quickest, most direct way possible which at the end of the day, means you go home safe and that’s all that matters. This is how we train…As for the contract, there is nothing in there that I have not seen at any other gym or school that I have been involved with in the past. ALL reputable training facilities have those and should be expected in this day and age to protect you and the facility.

They lied when I signed up. You cannot cancel at any time like they tell you you can. You either need to move away or have a doctor sign a note saying you were never able to participate again. I tried to work this out with their billing department and due to scheduling issues and medical issues I have never been able to take a class. I talked to Miss me about the billing issue when I was short on funds one day and asked her not to run it on a certain card and a week later she did anyway which overdrew my account. When I called back to raise hell they did refund it back to that card which fix the overdrive problem but I still cant get out of the contract unless my doctor says something along the lines of Im never able to participate again. So here it is a year and a half later and Im still paying on it and have never been to go to a class. Make sure you read the fine print. This is something I was very interested in doing and had no way of knowing that I would have run into a medical issue that prevented me from going to class or that the schedule would change to where there werent any classes available for me anyway due to my work schedule. In response to your responseThis is a blatant lie I raised my voice yesterday on the called when they charged my account after they were asked not to charge that account. I did cuss and I apologized for my language because I lost my temper. They have not worked with me, I have not refused to submit a doctors note. I have explained to them I am trying to get an appointment with my doctor. Yes it does have my signature on it which I have stated, and I was lied to on set up its my fault I didnt read that I understand that. However to go online and call me a liar when I am simply stating facts is absolutely ridiculous, childish and not very good business practice.I have tried to set up a meeting, on the first meeting the young lady had to reschedule, the second meeting my grandson was born that night, Im sorry Im trying to find another time when I am available as my daughter clearly stated I have multiple jobs I am doing the best that I can.Again my account was frozen at one point with a doctors note so I dont see how I refused to supply you with a doctors note I just have to go back to him and have him State according to your staff members that it is indefinite. The fact that you will verbally attacked a customer who is simply stating facts is absolutely ridiculous

Krav Maga Maryland is a great school and I had a very positive experience attending classes. I attended classes here for a little over two years and it was one of the things I will miss most about MD. I stopped attending due to an out of state move. The school is very friendly to military and law enforcement, offering discounts for both. For a base price you can attend as many classes as you want, which is plus and very different from the other martial arts schools I have attended/researched. The facility is large, clean and well equipped. The instructors are friendly, competent and all trained to the same standard. The other students are encouraging and welcoming to new students. The instructors and other students motivate you to push through your limits to get home safe. The self defense aspect of Krav Maga was very different from other training I had, with an emphasis on what works instead of a scripted response. I also shaved 45 seconds off my 2 mile run time do to the cardio aspect of the classes.Krav Maga Maryland is also part of a larger organization Krav Maga Worldwide, which allowed me to train at different locations while I was out of town on business. I told the General Manager I where was going and she would look to see if there were any affiliated schools in the area. If there were, she called and I was allowed to train while in he area for business. As a result I trained in Louisiana, Texas ( a different cities), Virginia and Florida while away on business, for no additional fee.I had to place my account on hold several times due to absences for work. I gave the admin personnel my documentation and never had any issue.Krav Maga became a big part of my life while attending this school and I will miss the instructors, students and classes. I read through the bad comments below since I was interested why this place has less than 4 stars. I go to this gym regularly, 2-3 times a week, and its a pretty good krav maga school. Some of the negative comments I could see being true at one point, but they have really changed even in the last year: I can see they arent as pushy about the contracts, have really improved their teaching methods, and are far more professional than even a year ago.I stopped going for a few months (not because I didnt want to) and even in that time I could see they have gone through changes and are trying to improve themselves. Most gyms could always use improvement but Im happy with their services -- Id give them a 4.25 stars right at the moment if I could.Understand this is Krav Maga Worldwide, which has different policies they apply towards their individual gyms (those that are certified under Krav Maga Worldwide) than somewhere like Israeli Krav Maga or various other Krav Maga gyms. And I believe the worldwide gyms want them to get people to have contracts (but I could be wrong on this).

At the beginner Krav classes... Youll definitely work up a sweat, build some camaraderie, and learn the basic fundamentals of Krav. People tend to learn through repetition, and youll get plenty of that. Youll punch and kick more times in one class than you have in your entire life. Youll learn techniques that can help save your ass when it matters. The only way you get better at punching is to practice punching. The only way you get better at kicking is to practice kicking. And so on. No complaints about the instructors or participants.Word from the wise: If youre going to take this class... Sign up for the 6 month package, and fill out the cancellation form as soon as possible. I cant stress this enough. I thought that my membership expired upon completion of the 6 month contract. Not so. Apparently... It rolls into a month to month after the initial contract... AND THERES A 30 DAY PROCESSING TIME FOR CANCELLATIONS. Were those letters big enough?Listen close. I paid my entire Krav membership... and they squeezed 2 extra months of payments out of me due to how their contract is written. I read the entire contract... but that was 6 months ago! DONT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU. I wasnt supposed to be billed for April, but they billed me anyway and claimed my membership was now month to month. And since I called on April 2nd... and it takes 30 days to process cancellations... Theyll bill me for May as well. This is a sleazy way to do business, and the primary reason theyre getting 1 out of 5 stars.

The classes are alright, but theyre incredibly repetitive. I have learned the same move every week for 3 weeks straight before. It is marketed as more of a workout program then a self defense system it seems. Sometimes you spend 50 minutes just punching mindlessly and the self defense move of the day is rushed. The CONTRACT is RIDICULOUS. they make you sign a 6 month, 1 yr, or 2 yr contract, which begins as a month to month once that period is over. It is over 100$ a month, and there is also a cancellation notice which must be received 30 days prior to contract ending or you get billed an additional month. NOT worth the time or money.

Krav Maga Maryland is the real deal. The training Ive obtained in the last three years has been simple, effective, and based on real world scenarios. If youre looking for a cool, supportive, and, positive environment for learning how to defend yourself, I highly recommend looking into KMMD. The techniques are solid, the instructors are knowledgeable, and the classes are intense. The variety of classes and additional seminars allow for tremendous growth IF you are willing to make the commitment. The advanced level techniques are built on the things learned in Levels 1&2 so repetition and proper technique are extremely important. Most of the negative comments Ive seen are coming from those who think attending class once a week for a month of two will have them ready to compete for a UFC title shot. Its a gym folks...The results you get are proportionate to the work youre willing to put into it. If you consider this before joining and understand the focus here is about learning how to persevere in a violent confrontation, you will find Krav to be extremely rewarding.

I canceled my membership a over a year ago and out of now where I start getting emails that payment is due. Its been two months since these emails have started and they seem not to care or do anything about it when I remind them again and again that I canceled a year and three months ago. If this has happened to anyone else I would like to know. Ive been keeping records and if this does anything to my credit there will be hell to pay.

I joined Krav Maga Maryland in August 2014 with absolutely zero martial arts or self-defense experience. It was something Id always wanted to try, and I chose Krav Maga after learning about it through a friend who was a student and instructor at KMMD. I also liked that KM is geared toward real-world situations - that definitely appealed to my practical side. The sales pitch was certainly very persuasive, but ultimately I chose to sign up, and Im glad I did. Ive been attending classes weekly and have learned so much in the past several months; Ive seen a lot of real improvement in myself since my first few classes. My instructors teaching style is very professional, but they keep the atmosphere light and friendly at the same time. I learn simple yet effective self-defense techniques, get a good workout at the same time, and go home from every class in a really great mood. Im really glad I made this decision, and I would encourage others to try KMMD!

I really dont see why everyone is hating on this school so much. Martial art/self defense schools typically Offer contracts. Ive done Sambo, Karate (Krav, Duh) and BJJ, and every school I went to, all different, I had to fill out a 6M-1Y contract which is perfectly fine. I actually was finishing up Wrestling and Lacrosse for my high school Senior year, and didnt go there for about 8 Months, called and put the payments on hold until I went back. I returned to the school last month and had absolutely no issues scanning my card and going to my class. I found the front desk to be very, very helpful and friendly. the people and instructors there are students too, so they will drop in and out of the Cross fit room, working out an Hour, working the desk an hour, and would take each others spot. the Instructors in the classes are nice, but wont Shake your hand and pat you on the back, they have a class to attend to which is normal for me. however, if you are messing a technique up, they arent mean about it, they will just pull you to the side and tell you what your doing wrong, how to fix it and wont leave until you get it 100% right, which is something I havent seen in some martial art schools Ive attended. Overall, Great staff, they can get a bit pre-occupied, but thats only because their are a good amount of students at the school. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in Krav Maga in the MD-Columbia Area

In a word: Awesome.PEOPLE:Starting from the owner, all the way to the personnel working the front desk, they are professionals. The staff is consistently On Point: They are highly knowledgeable; they are ALWAYS positive in their approaches to training, as well as in their attitudes and in their actions. (I have trained to high levels of H2H combat as a former SOC Marine, and again in training for the Armys Special Forces, as well as being an Army H2H combat instructor myself, and I would be hard-pressed to think of a better group of professionals [other than some of my SF Cadre] from whom I have had a better learning experience.)They are highly motivated, which translates into motivation for those who need it. And, believe me, when you are nearing the end of your training session you are going to want as much motivation as you can get, because -- similar to the mindset in Crossfit (of which I am qualified as an instructor, so I know what Im saying [And which is also available on site] -- if you can talk during or right after the workout, then you arent working hard enough. The Instructors motivation is infectious. And, yes, that includes those of us who are Type-A and already self-motivated. They will push you to grow both physically (strength, speed, conditioning, etc.), regardless of your starting point, as well as mentally (knowledge of the art -- not just HOW to but WHY to employ various tactics; confidence, conviction, maturity, and so on). They will leave you sweaty, tired, and trying to figure out how soon you can get back for another workout/training session.Several of my instructors have left other gyms/dojos/arts in which they were at or near the peak of a particular discipline, telling me that it (another martial art) just couldnt prepare someone properly for real-world types of conflicts. As a former instructor I agree wholeheartedly with this assessment. In short: They are top-notch.PROGRAMS:Multiple types and levels of training are available for everyone, regardless of your age, your sex, your current fitness level, and perhaps, most importantly, your experience level. Even if you have a COMPLETE lack of experience and this is your first step into self-improvement via a martial art program, you can train here EFFECTIVELY. But no matter what your experience level is, this is where you need to be.In addition to the Krav Maga program itself, where you will advance through levels of increasing knowledge, fitness, intensity and situational threats, there are also many specialized seminars available, such as rape/assault prevention, where you will learn not only how to fight your way to safety, but also how to help avoid being in such situations in the first place. As Ive mentioned, sometimes the WHY is just as important as the HOW. They will teach you both. For people like myself, there are other specialized seminars for the military, the police, and other public servants ONLY (proper identification must be shown, for obvious reasons), where you will learn how to disarm various types of armed attackers, how to take an offender into custody, how to escape certain situations, and more. While many of us have probably already experienced some types of training similar to this, these seminars are an excellent way to re-learn, refresh, refine, and otherwise improve upon past TTPs. I have successfully completed several of these day-long (about eight hours) seminars, and they are invaluable to me in my chosen profession.FACILITIES:Excellent facilities -- Training areas are wide open, with no obstacles; Classes are filled with enough people to allow for various partnerships and groups during parts of the training, but not so full as to hinder your movements or to detract from using proper form and techniques; Rooms/mats are cleaned and sanitized frequently; Areas are organized in such a way as to permit various types (and skill levels) of workouts and training; Equipment for the training is in good condition, it is clean, and there is enough of it for the entire class.Try it.

Military wacth out! I moved here from another krav maga gym in New Orleans.I came and told the young lady what I was looking for which was kickboxing and wrestling. Krav maga for me was just a bonus but not what I joined the gym but some the class was not what I was expected or not what she told me they offered. For all you military personnel watch out for this business because as soon as you sign up you are stuck. When I went in to talk to them about maybe changing my membership or at least change some of the cardio bag classes to incorporate some more punching and kicking the young lady laughed in my face and told me I was stuck and I have no choice but to pay. I have mush respect to Krav Maga but not for this business here in Columbia Maryland.

I understand contracts. But you can only take one class before deciding if a year long contract is worth it. And after the first class, of course it is.The instructors teach the same thing every week. The staff/instructors do not look at you or say hi when you walk in. They must expect the customer to say hi first. If youre a girl and you go to a morning level 1 class and not one of the crowded classes, expect to be by yourself working with guys who will definitely treat you like a girl.Everything feels fake, except for the striking portion of the class. For example, lets loosely choke someone and act like the grab and throw with our arms is really going to get our attackers/rapists/murderers hands from around our neck. You may put up a fight for a couple of minutes maybe, but thats it.Good luck. Try a real martial art like jiu jitsu or muay thai at a gym where it feels like family and the instructors care more than just their paychecks.

Krav MD is an awesome place! I was shopping the area for Crossfit places and found this gym. Theyre WAY less expensive than places that only serve Crossfit a few times a week, and this place has unlimited Krav Maga, Crossfit, and other training programs. The staff is great and know what theyre doing, its a very clean and professional looking facility with everything you need to come after work, workout, shower, and head home. I love working out here and am excited to start up my classes again. As to the quality of training; its very good. I have seen that some people complain about repetition or being told they arent approaching this correctly and I can confirm that this has happened to me. I was trained in Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing, and JKD before coming here and I got the same comments on my stance and my style. Thats not an actual problem though. Krav Maga is a very different fighting style than most others. Its a lot less martial art and a lot more self defense. If youve trained a lot in an Asian style youre probably going to have to relearn some things and will be corrected a few times. My approach has simply been to follow the training, absorb the lessons, and in a few years when Ive earned my levels I will bring what I learned in with the rest of my skills and make it my own.Krav Maga is about aggression and self defense, so dont expect to hold fancy punch poses, expect to have someone choking you, trying to stab you, or trying to shoot you, because thats what this stuff is for.As for the crossfit, Im very pleased. This isnt some tossed together staff that doesnt even know what the correct form for a squat is; these guys want you to do things properly and safely so that you can get a great workout and avoid injury. Theyre not walking around in tank tops screaming at you, theyre carefully watching the group and helping people get their reps in the right way and motivating us to push ourselves. The contract is 6mo/1yr/2yrs. But you can cancel if you move, just be sure you want to do this stuff before you start. Its cheaper the longer you sign up for of course. They also will do 2month+ extensions if youre out of town or something and need your contract on hold. No complaints here because the price is REALLY excellent.

Do NOT get involved with these people. Their unprofessional approach to training, the contract, and the attitude in general is unbelievable.I was trained in Uchuno Shorin-Ryu for 7 years...a very respected Japanese martial art. I was inducted into the USMAA hall of fame for my proficiency in competitive sparring, and I was an assistant instructor...very proficient in both competitive sparring and self-defense. When I began my training at Krav Maga (after mistakenly signing a 1 year contract, more on that later) I was told that my stance was wrong, my technique for striking was wrong, and my approach to self-defense technique was wrong. This is glorified cardio/cross training. They charge an exorbitant amount for poor training, and do not teach basic elements of martial arts. Instead, they teach a brand of martial arts based on brutal thuggery, instead of the respect, history, and self-control that comes with REAL martial arts. These guys are certified to teach for some reason, but in my opinion are not qualified to do so. There is no respect for other martial art backgrounds, and most of the other students are rude, selfish, and ill-equipped to deal with real life situations. Finally, the billing issue.I attempted to sever my relationship with the institution after my full year of the contract was up. I paid for these months even though I had no intention of ever going back after six months of training. They managed to finagle 4 additional months of fees, $109 per month, a total of $436, due to ridiculous minor stipulations in their contract about 30 day processing periods and a myriad of other nonsensical contract speak designed to get as much money out of you as possible. Worst purchase I have ever made, and 100% not worth the trouble. If you want to be charged $1300 dollars for a year of being yelled at by meat head gym rats who have little real martial arts experience, then look no firther! If youre just looking to get in shape, get a membership to planet fitness for a tenth of the price and stay away from these people. You will regret it, and your bank account will as well.

I am a Student at Krav Maga, Maryland and have been for over a year and a half. I have prior experience in karate and wrestling. I have had hand to hand combat training through the US Army and Defensive tactics training as a police officer. I have been a LEO for over seven years. The defensive tactics training provided through Krav Maga MD is of the highest caliber training I have received to date. The instructors are very professional. They are proficient and knowledgeable concerning the subject matter. The Krav Maga system is very easy to learn. The training is intense and you will work hard, but it is also fun and rewarding. In about nine months of consistent training (only at Krav Maga, MD) I lost over 35 lbs and have kept the weight off. As with many things you will get what you put into the training. Simply put, If you are inconsistent and dont work hard you will not get the results that you want. You will get results consistent with what you put into your training. Krav Maga, MD also provides LEO/Military specific training usually in the form of quarterly seminars. There are several LEO/Military instructors on staff with provide great insight during normal training. They also provide private instruction regarding specific subject matters fitted to the customer. Regarding the Crossfit training, you will find no better way to get into shape quickly. All workouts are scale-able so if you are coming in as a pro athlete or you are coming in as a pro couch potato you will get a strong but doable workout. The Crossfit instructors are well trained and knowledgeable not only in Crossfit but in overall health and fitness. Remember Crossfit Athletes are among the fittest in the world! The fitness program also includes cardio workouts such as Heavy Bag classes, Thai Pad Classes and even a weekly Yoga Class. Remember this is not a Martial Arts School. This is a self defense school. You will be training as if you might get attacked that night on your way home. The reason is, you dont plan when you will get attacked. I regularly refer family members, military contacts and fellow police officers to Krav Maga Maryland because they provide the best training around.Stay safe, get fit and train hard!

I joined because I was interested in learning basic self-defense. I went on the tour of the place and the instructor told me Id be learning how to disarm knifed attackers and learning how to deal with multiple attackers. They had me… hook, line and sinker. Once I told them I wanted to join, they tried to talk me into a 2 yr membership, I told them I was interested in a 6 month plan, they showed me the rates and the rates were a little too high. So I decided to go with a 1 year plan....I shouldve stuck with 6 months.I stopped going after 4 months. They told me Id learn how to disarm knives, what they didnt tell me is that they dont teach the technique until level 3, which takes at least 1.5 yrs to obtain. The daily lesson plans are exactly the same as the last weeks, it just repetition and it gets really boring, which is why I stopped going. Most of the students attending have no fighting or self-defense background and the instructors seem to get upset when they show moves and the students aren’t able to properly perform the move….after only the first time being showed it.The instructors also come off in a way that if you don’t show up every day, you’ll get jumped the second you walk out your front door. Most of the male instructors try and hit on the female students, its actually quite pathetic.I went to a Saturday class, and overheard the owner trying to hit on the females about how he just bought a red, 2012 Toyota Highlander. The females knew what he was doing and didnt show interest, but he persisted, getting lamer and lamer in his attempts. It was actually quite comical for me.Krav MD also offers Krav Fitness, which is actually just Cross-Fit. I watched the female fitness instructor try and talk the female students into joining the fitness program, which was pathetic as well. The female instructor kept bragging about how much weight she lost, the female students seemed interested, but wanted to know how much time it requires to see results. The instructor couldnt give an estimate; she just kept saying “how the weight just falls off”. A more believable answer wouldve been It depends on the person, your diet, and level of intensity. But no, it was just her pre-programmed sales pitch kicking in.This place is a McDojo, they make people pay to take the tests to promote to the next level. They just sign as many people up as possible without adding more instructors to cope with the student level. The lessons are always overcrowded. Id have to guess the student to teacher ratio is 15:1 on a weekday, on weekends; it can be 20:1.Even though they just want to take your money, the classes do offer a really good cardio workout, but it’s not worth the $100/month (or more) they will charge you.I was counting down the days my contract ended and I filled out a 30 day cancelation notice, if you don’t, they automatically move you to a month-to-month membership. I went 2 days before my contract ended and they are still going to charge me a month because “I didn’t do it in time” and they’re unable to cancel my membership without the monthly charge. I’m never going back to Krav MD and will tell as many people as I can about this place.
