Received a call about a position that was new to the company. My resume was found on a public website and I was called in to speak about the position. After arriving 15 minutes early, the owner was 30 minutes or so late. There wasnt basic interview questions just questions about my ability to handle Excel which Im pretty proficient in. The talk only lasted about 10-15 minutes and I was instructed to fill out an application. I emailed the owner later that day thanking him for meeting with me and the possibility of getting the position. No reply! I called around 10 two days later only to get a half sleeping voice on the other line who managed to tell me someone would be calling me later. No call received! This review is basically providing information on how unprofessional the owner can be. As an avid seeker of employment who possesses a Bachelors degree in business, I am perfectly capable of handling rejection but not fond of wasted time. If it was determined during or after the interview that I wasnt suitable for the position please dont waste valuable time having me fill out an 45 minute application. However, I hope the position was filled by the right and best experienced individual.
