I LOVE BGMultifamily almost as much as I love Kathi Stephens! Kathi got me into working for BG as a leasing temp back in 2019 and I have only grown from there. I would not be where I am without going through BGMultifamily! Before I started with them I was a young girl in her early 20s not knowing what to do with my life. I took a one day class with them and they taught me pretty much everything that I need to know going into the industry and I remember sitting in that class thinking for the first time ever I could totally do this for the rest of my life.. Knowing myself, that is something I have never said before that point. BG not only started my passion for this industry, but got me my first big girl job. Now, I sit back, almost 3 years later as an Assistant Manager writing this review completely in awe of how one person and one company helped me start it all. My cousin has worked for this company for over 3 years and has been bought out from the paying company every time. She has received lots of good reviews on the properties websites etc. 3 weeks ago, she messaged the Atlanta location and informed a lady named Kiya that she was available for work. Kiya then told my cousin that she would place her on the list as being available for work. The next week my cousin called the office to inform the staff that she was still available for work, Kiya Said “ ok you need to hang up and text this number, you don’t need to call”. Kiya then hung up the phone with out warning. The third week, my cousin went to search for a job as a leasing/ assistant manager and was hired only if she could start as a temp for training for 2 weeks. She was asked if she knew a staffing company and she mentioned BG staffing. The property instructed my cousin to call BG staffing informing them that they will be utilizing my services to them and to look out for a phone call.My cousin called Kiya this third week and told her she was available for work Kia then stated she will put her on the list for being available to work my cousin did mention to her what she was instructed to do by the property and that’s when Kia is bored my cousin that she would need to free refill an application because my cousin was not in the system. Confusingly, my cousin re applied for the company so she could start at the property immediately. Then complained to a recruiter of the unprofessional and dishonest circumstances that was going on for the past 3 weeks. After her application was finalized by a BG staff member, she informed the staff that she was unable to upload her direct deposit information so she was asked to send over screenshots of routing and account number. The updated direct deposit Information was sent to Kiya on 18 of July, Payday was Friday, July 26 and my cousin did not receive a paycheck for her hard work. My cousin mentioned it to Kiya and was rudely spoken too in defense. Kia for my cousin that’s her hard work money was put into the closed account BG still had on file and her updated direct deposit information was not entered into the system. Of course, there were a lot of back-and-forth regarding the paycheck and miscommunication on Bg Staffing’s in which frustrated my cousin and made Kia of course, there were a lot of back-and-forth regarding the paycheck and miscommunication on BG Staffing‘s end which frustrated my cousin and made KiYa take things personal yet again. In which I informed my cousin, If Kiya is taking things personally she is deliberately, personally not paying you your check, Nor is she willing to assist her.My cousin informed the property of the miss fortune of not getting paid and they canceled with BG Staffing, now utilizing another staffing company. After my cousin communicated that she had not received the paycheck, she sent Kia an email requesting confirmation that the new direct deposit information has been updated, but Kiya has yet to respond. Not only has she failed to respond, she has not offered any assistance to receiving the money owed or given any additional help to retrieving her check, since it is at the fault of the company.My cousin took it upon herself and contacted BG staffing in Texas, Where they have a form to her notes have been put into the system. And they also for my cousin to contacts have Bank so when the bank returns the money and then BG staffing will mail out a check and she should receive it between 7 to 1 where they have a form to her notes have been put into the system. Which is why I am writing this review in a different state for someone to handle this business With outstanding customer service.
