My favorite Dollar Tree store. It’s phenomenal with its consistency and cleanliness. I’ve noticed it’s not mistake proof .. yet they are always accountable and able to have a conversation about anything. Love this particular Dollar Tree. I feel like it has a good vibe .. I feel included and comfortable.

This is a good store. They almost always have just what I need. Managers know where everything is. That helps when your in a hurry.

I enjoy going to the Dollar Tree, The store always has something I have not seen before, You will also find that you pay less then the other local stores in the same neighborhood. I gave this store a horrible review over a year ago due to its lack of cleanliness. So I am now writing a new one to say the store is now, and has been for awhile, very clean and well organized. Gone is the filthy carpeting and dishevelled shelves. It is now a pleasant experience shopping here. Dollar Tree always has a great variety of needed items.

This store has cleaned up so much it is amazing.

A dollar store is a dollar store but I did notice a lot of out of stock merchandise down some aisles as well as clutter and disorganization of goods on the stores shelves.There are NO public restrooms ( which I understand is policy ) but when I was led to the manager to plea urgency ( my 4 year old daughter was desperate) he was extremely disrespectful to me. Condescending, lack of empathy, and a harsh tone had me believing he was having a bad day or that he really cannot stand his job. The male cashier suggested the Holiday gas station clear across the street which was was impossible to a 4 year old ( whose barely learned to control her bladder ) to achieve even IF I took her in the car. Have you driven on Central Ave. Columbia Heights ?? Anyways, I was in disbelief not just at the franchises regulations but at how the manager implemented the rules towards his customers, ESPECIALLY a woman with a 4 year old on her hip crying in urgency to relieve herself. Any mother knows when a situation like this occurs it creates stress and anxiety. Panic sets in if you are not prepared with extra clothes or cleaning supplies, a cold Minnesota winter makes this type of emergency a deal breaker. Going back home, despite plans, is necessary to avoid health complications which may occur from exposing oneself to frigid temperatures in wet clothes.Personally, I would like to see this Policy reevaluated at all stores, restaurants, and businesses. Understanding the reasoning behind the employers protocol as well as the consumers basic human right, I feel an as-needed basis would be appropriate. For example, an able-bodied adult who asks to use the facilities may be a customer you kindly deny restroom access to versus a child and childs caregiver whom may become distressed if lavatory needs are not met immediately. If a customer overhears different outcomes and becomes skeptical, staff can then respectfully explain the as-needed basis principle regarding businesss restroom accessibility.The male and female cashiers were respectful and handled the issue as employees should.No other complaints.Thank you.

Kind of messy, employees tend to be nice. Its a big store with a fridge section so you tend to find more variety of items.

Helpful staff, kind enough to let my daughter use the restroom even though they were for associates only. The store could have been a bit cleaner.

I haven’t seen the manager with the curly hair , she was great , store use to be clean and well stocked, now the shelves are very empty and a lot of merchandise missing compared to other dollar tree stores, I hope they find a good manager soon

The columbia heights store should be closed it never has anything

The primary concern is that every customer doing business with this store (no matter what form of payment) is required to touch a 3/4x1/2 spot on a dirty screen to tell them whether you want a receipt or not. It doesnt have a default and they demand you touch the screen. They dont offer to clean it (I didnt think to ask them to at the time). I was refused my $2 in change if I didnt press the screen. I objected and the cashier told me Thats how we roll here. Another customer thought that was funny and repeated, Thats how we roll here. Kind of surreal.I reported this to the MN Covid Help line. The operator didnt know if they would do anything but said she would submit a report and advised not to do business with them.

Its a $1. Which is nice if your money mindful or have the need. You can find great findsBut omgawd, this place is sooo dirty. Masks were worn before nose by employees but they were all friendly. This location is so gross..

Yah the lines are sometime long, but the deals are abundant. Lots of kitchen wares and office supplies. Other folks have said its a bit messy, which it is, but oh well, life goes on. Shop here and save some money on mostly Chinese stuff you wont keep very long.

Need water bottles better gloves and scarves . they got best tasting water in one gallon bottle my god way better then city water i choke on.people were polite in dollar tree better then dollar general.tin foil works great.but awaiting healthier cheap affordable vegan food might make them trendy thrive them the nickname dollar tree seems to good for them i call them penny tree

This is my least favorite location. They just never seem to have nearly as much stuff as any other dollar tree. Always out of things or don’t even have the same inventory as the other locations. I drive 10Miles out of my way to another location.

Addicted to Arnold Palmer half and half, I frequent Dollar Tree. The opposite of Sams Club, this is where you get a decent deal on a dollars worth vs an entire pallet.

Newly remodeled, more staff on hand, nice employees. Other customers dont social distance at all and it seems to be busy most of the time.

Good place. Obviously cheap prices. Lines can get pretty long at times thought. Not the greatest location but they usually have most of the stuff that other dollar trees have. Its the closest one to my house so thats why I go to this one. Its good enough not to drive further to a different one if that tells you something. My daughter loves it there as well she is five. They seem to keep there shelves full as well and this is a great thing....

Cass; the cashier helps to make this place sunny. The staff is always helpful & NOT afraid to check the storeroom for items if you cant find it on the shelves. They will also check the delivery schedules to let you know when a new shipment is die in.5 stars

Today a old white lady staff accuse me of stealing because my purse was on the floor while I tried on a pair of walking slippers very disrespectful once I showed her she said sorry but I feel it was black thing because if I was white she wouldnt have thought 2 about it its dollar tree come on now

One of the best dollar trees Ive been to. They dont let the shelves get super empty they dont let the isles get trashed with everything off shelevs all over the floor. Employees are super nice and dont Lolly gag when checking people out

Location is in Columbia heights. This store is a disaster 98% of the timeIt has empty unstocked messy shelves 99.99% of the time. Most of the employees are extremely rude.Its unfortunate because this was the first to open in the area and I use to go to this one all the time.It doesnt have a bathroom anymore either. Makes it impossible to shop at with small kids/potty training kids.The carpet is worn threw in many spots which isnt the locations fault thats normal wear and tear but it is the managers responsibility to report it till its fixed.Theres alot of theft at this location. Its visible to the customers with all the empty packages, half eaten food and wrappers all over the shelvesIts no longer my favorite one or the one I frequent most.

One of the few dollar tree stores that I get great experience from. Shelves are well stocked and store is organized.

They usually have great stuff and I can find what I need but this time they were out of helium for balloons.

The ladies were all very helpful. They have a good variety of food and other items.

Everything is one dollar for items that you would pay 3 times that much for in another srore...truly a good deal.

Unbelievable i cannot believe some of the people they have hired lately i was there tonight and one of the clerks which i had no clue at the time ..who was just getting off .started a fight said i was looking at her when i was walking out the store.. she had attitude n a big mouth..asked to fight me outside which i would never back down so i did she threw the first punch n missed i pushed her away from me n she fell to the ground n got up n tried to hit me again ..i blocked them too n some one broke it up n she still would not stop running her mouth n trying to fight that was when i seen she worked there ..then i realize my items i puchased were stolen from me.. She then proceeded to threaten to follow me home n jump me . all over something i didnt do..even if i did look at her who cares is that how a grown woman acts n in front of her children ..great example she sets for the store n her childrenn

Usually an okay place, for a dollar store. Employees are always nice and helpful to the best of their abilities. However today I bought some milk to bake with...and the safety seal was broken. Sooo I poured it down the sink. Im SO glad I didnt risk it, because a couple strands of LONG, BLACK hair came out with it. I almost lost my lunch lol...

The employee store very polite and helpful but the store itself is a mess. The shelves are messy the Isles and floors are very dirty.

I like shopping here its got everything I need when I go in there from birthday gifts to diy projects! I love it!!!

I visit this location often. Today I give 4 stars because the shelves were pretty bare. The staff is always A1.

The last FOUR times I’ve gone to this location they had their doors locked. Two times was for system issues and the other were for employee issues. I was told today by the cashier I couldn’t come in because of an emergency. THERE WAS NO SIGN ON THE DOOR!
