I am about a month overdue in writing this review, but want to provide an exceptional, well deserved review to Mark! My father had recorded some 8mm (I believe this was the size) videos years ago. I cant thank Mark and Colorado Springs Video LLC enough for the service they provided to me today!!! Im a mom to a beautiful 20 year old daughter. I was a teen mom & her father & I parted ways when my daughter was less than two years old. Wow! Talk about fast turnaround and quality work. I just dropped off an old, but special VHS tape yesterday. This tape had gotten stuck in our VHS player years ago, and we were sure we had mangled it in our extrication process. I told Mark that I understood if he could not get it transferred by Christmas (which was 10 days away). I like supporting local business but was scared to bring my old mini DV tapes because if I lost the data it was gone forever. So like a dummy I took the first few tapes to Walgreens and it was roughly $50 per tape and about 6 weeks to get one done.My camera died and got a tape stuck in it so I figured I would call Mark at COS VIDEO and see what happened. So glad I did! Not only did he fix the tape I inevitably broke, he also did an additional 11 tapes for me for the same price Walgreens did 3 and got them back to me in about a week.

I found Colorado Springs Video online, and really liked the demonstration of their system of cleaning old 8mm to digital, so I sent a few of my 45 year old tapes to them from Kansas. I was helped every step of the way with frequent updates and explanations of the process. Turns out, I sent 2 reel to reels and 2 8mm with sound. They all turned out great! I was able to enjoy hearing my long divorced (and 50% deceased) parents singing on their wedding day (still recovering from that!) and see my own little sweet self graduating from preschool!I highly recommend CosVideo for all of your video transfer needs.
