Guy the pool guy. ive been doing apartment maintenance roughly 8 years now and Guy has always been extremely helpful with all my questions and prompt on answering his phone my thanks Guy the pool guy.

Called these guys they came out the next day to help me with my pool and give me a quote for a new filter

I used this company to clean my pool last summer (2018), and close it for the winter. First off, Guy is an employee for the company who was showing us the components of the pool on the first day of moving in our home. He turned off the pool motor and the motor would not turn back on. So welcome to being a pool owner, on the first day of moving into our new home, we had to buy a new pool motor. Flash forward less than a year later that supposedly new pool motor is running extremely loud and its straining to run. I contacted John several times about this issue without getting a call back. Finally my wife called and he immediately picked up. He provided no help in resolving this issue. New pool motors are supposed to last much longer than one year. John had no documentation on the motor and he pretty much told my wife theres nothing he can do about the motor now failing after less than one year. I believe he installed a used or refurbished motor and that’s why there’s no paperwork on the motor. I pulled the numbers off the motor and contacted the manufacturer. The manufacturer recommended contacting the distributor. Well thats very hard to do when the company who installed the motor has no paperwork on the motor. Poor communication and poor customer service. To be fair their prices are reasonable, but I’d rather pay someone who’s more customer service oriented more money for better service. I took matters into my own hands and I ordered a new motor (and seals) that will honor a one year warranty. If anyone can recommend a company in Colorado Springs thats honest and reliable for pool cleanings and other maintenance, please let me know. They are hard to come by in this area.

I called for a price quote for 2020 season maintenance and repairs to our pool. He was short on the phone and spouted off prices for maintenance on the phone. I asked if he would come look at the pool and give a price for repairs. He said yes. I asked him when. He said Monday at 9:30. He never showed up.

John and his crew have been doing a great job with our pool. His rates are competitive and he is very thorough. I would definitely use Colorado Springs pool and spa on my next pool build.

John and Guy opened my pool in the spring and closed it in the fall. Then they fixed two leaks in my hot tub in December. All well done and at a reasonable cost. No complaints here.

Two no-call no-shows, dont bother trying schedule an appointment.

I spoke to someone named John to do a pool inspection. It was not very professional in all aspects from: (1) answering phone call -- Hello is all one gets; (2) non-responsive -- follow-up text message questions never answered; 3) non-committal on schedule after the initial schedule fell through -- really depends on how other jobs play out. Im not sure someone can make money by providing a service such as this?

John was not very prompt or attentive. I asked him for a estimate to resurface an inground pool. Based on my own calculations material and crew (easy enough with math and the internet) I estimated no more than $10,000. This was pretty high estimate. John came out and blew me away with a far left field estimate of $20,600!!! He was not very talkative on site regarding the work etc. He provided me with a paper copy of the estimate which was 4 days after his visit. It showed no break down of cost analysis regarding material labor etc., just the task ”resurface pool, $20,600”! Yes, that took him 4 days to do! I called and had two other estimates by companies in the area that were between $7,000 and $10,000. I was informed that all of the pool companies use the same set of contractors as well...pretty sure this guy is out to make a massive profit or has no idea how to measure and add up supplies. I would not recommend!!
