Sharpening is hit or miss depending on whos doing it and whether or not they know who you are. Prices on gear are higher than most other places but Ive been told theyll price match.Somehow the only hockey store in The Springs. If there was another, Id probably go there.

Cannot support a business that does not care about the health and safety of its customers. None of the employees bothers to wear a mask and the same can be said for most of the customers.

I needed skates and hadnt shopped for them in years. The staff was amazingly helpful in explaining pros and cons of the different models. They helped me try on multiple pairs and spent a great deal of effort to ensure I had the skates that fit me and my use the best. They even baked the skates there and form fitted them to my feet. I checked online and found that I might have been able to save about $50, if I wanted to wait for the shipping. Then I would still have to bake and fit them and wouldnt be sure of the fit, so I feel like I got a great deal. I would recommend these guys to anyone at any any skill level, they really know their business.

We go here for all my sons gear. The staff is always helpful and willing to answer any questions I have. They really seem to care about finding the right product for what you need not just trying to sell you the most expensive thing in the store. Also, very impressed with the skate sharpening! Definitely recommend this shop.

Kinda small store. However staff was fantastic. I have no experience in hockey but was looking for a new stick for my son who just started in the sport. Mike spent 30 minutes with us trying to find the right equipment to fit our needs. Helped us pick out the gear that would work for us at a very reasonable price. His concern was making sure we got what we needed, not trying to get the most money out of someone who wasn’t sure what to buy. After we picked out the stick he made sure it was cut to the right size and helped us tape it up. May not seem like a big deal, but when you’re brand new to the sport, things like this really help. Came in to buy my very first hockey stick today and Jackson offered to help me out. He explained everything I needed to know to get started and didnt take advantage of my inexperience by trying to sell me more than I needed. Im really appreciative of the customer service and Ill certainly be back.

We live in Albuquerque, but have no hockey stores there. We were going to go to Denver, but happily found Centre Ice. Matt was very helpful and friendly. We got what we needed and didnt have to travel the extra distance! We have girls, boys, and adult ice hockey leagues in Albuquerque. You should consider opening a location there!

One star is being generous. They have children for sales associates, unprofessional and arrogant! Our eight year old son is just starting out in the sport and my husband took him to get all new equipment and knowing my husband he would have dropped a few $$$, but the sales kids were not even willing to assist & my husband and literally told him to go Play it Again Sports.

Im new to hockey life. My boyfriend plays and needed a piece, that I now know is called a plug, but I didnt know when I asked the man behind the counter for a butt or hat for the stick while showing him the end of the stick. He was very arrogant educating me and insulted the 3 year old stick before even attempting to locate the piece I needed. I was very disappointed because my kiddos are getting interested in the sport so I was also shopping for future loyalty. The prices seemed fair and the selection itself was great. That isnt enough for my continued patronage for this very costly sport though.

Years of experience and knowledge in this store. Every employee that I have had the opportunity to interact with has been very helpful and professional. They also have a great sharpening deal that no other shops in town can compete with.

If I could give a negative star I would. My sister came from Alaska to buy gear for her sons team and as we were searching for any indication of a price, we turned just in time to witness one of the staff making fun of my sisters son with special needs... How arrogant and disgusting. Not only did they loose a future customer, they lost a very large purchase that could have worked into a long-term opportunity... Maybe vetting your staff or at least leashing you aminals, my dogs have better mannors!!! Disgusted!

Guy working was rude, didnt know how to fit a youths helmet and was too worried about them closing in 20 minutes then helping us fit our son into ice skates, said it would take at least an hour.
