I hired Fisk for property maintenance on a commercial property that I manage. They were horrible. They removed sod and installed rock. They couldn’t even keep the weeds down in the rocks they installed a few months prior. Stay far away. I paid the monthly contract and received the worst care

Fisk did a great job with our backyard landscaping. They took a wild area of scrub grass & rocks and turned it into an attractive and usable space which will also act as a firebreak. They were on time and budget to their estimate and provided great creative ideas for the design.

Planted wrong flowers and tried to hide it from me; got paid for yard maintenance starting in April and hadnt trimmed hedges, shrubs, or bushes by 4th of July; came out 4 times to repair same sprinkler issue and I had to pay another vendor AFTER paying Fisk. After all these failures, sent me a bill for outstanding balance. They are RIPOFFS andI would not do business with them or recommend to anyone.

Fisk Lawnscapes replaced my front porch, back patio and did some landscaping in my backyard. I am very pleased with the final results. They kept me up-to-date on timelines (which were impacted by the weather since this was a winter project), did walk-throughs with the different project personnel involved to ensure everything was completed to my satisfaction and were very professional. I would definitely use them again.

Today is 08 Sept 20, and there has been no further communication from the company or the designer. I have made several attempts to call and text the designer/estimator with no response.I understand the operational pace of landscaping in the Summer; however, Fisk Landscapes does an abysmal job of communicating with the customer regarding delays. The only reason I am giving 2-stars is that the office administrator responds to emails.

From the initial consultation to the final walk through, Ben and the team from Fisk was top notch. They listened to our needs and our dreams and sought to provide us with a landscape that was both functional and beautiful. The installation crew, led by Landon, displayed kindness and respect to us and to each other. They worked hard, were on time, and held themselves to a high quality standard. We highly recommend Fisk!

Fisk Lawnscapes just completed a huge backyard project. They turned a rocky hillside into a beautiful backyard oasis under the expert guidance of Rick and his great crew. With an attention to detail, they were able to incorporate unique features seamlessly into the plan. One of the hardest working crews I have ever worked with. There pricing was extremely reasonable as well. I am planning to use them next spring to take on a front entry project. So glad I chose this company!

We were lucky enough to use their residential maintenance service and loved how the team took care of the whole yard. I was deployed and I was so happy that my wife didn’t have to worry about the yard at all. I came home to a beautiful yard that looked better than I could have ever made it look.

FiskLawnscapes did the landscape install on our new home in Black Forest and did an amazing job. Their team is professional and courteous. When working with Fisk, I have to say that the owner truly cares about all of his company’s projects. If you have any issues at all he will make it right. His employees are the hardest working people in Colorado Springs. Well mannered, professionally dressed, and always on time. I am very happy with the hard work that they all put in and the customer service from start to finish is bar none the greatest that you will find. This is the only company that I’ll recommend in the future.

If we could rate Fisk Lawnscapes above 5 stars, we would. We lost our home & 80% of our pine trees in the Black Forest fire of 2013. After we rebuilt we interviewed 5 different landscapers. We were immediately drawn to the ideas & prices of Fisk. Our first project was front landscaping with a retaining wall & a drip system for our trees & plants. We were so pleased that we called Fisk again to build a three tiered retaining wall. It turned out better than we ever expected. Onward & upward.....we wanted a pergola & a fire pit in our backyard area. Of course, we called Fisk. It turned out fantastic, with another retaining wall, stamped concrete, raised planters & a drip system. Oh, I almost forgot....they also came out & cleaned up piles & piles of slash with a wood chipper. The young men that did the work were respectful, always on time & extremely professional. Fisk started the first phase of our landscaping project this fall. They have been wonderful to work with! They designed our project just like we imagined it and were always courteous in our communications with them. When the crew arrived to work (and throughout the days that they were here, they were all very personable and always smiling. You could tell that they worked well together and as a team. They checked in with us enough to make sure they were getting it right and that we were satisfied. The overall look of our front and backyards is great! We look forward to having them complete our landscaping in spring.The only thing that provided mild frustration was that a lot of the communication, besides our initial meeting with them, was done via email. This made it easy but also confusing at certain points. There is only so much that can be communicated via written text.

After explicitly discussing the type of service expected, Fisk failed to complete any pruning of shrubs, bushes, or hedges. Flower beds were not weededSprinkler system was not setup/serviced to support proper growth and coverage in flower bedsFlowers installed were not the flowers agreed to when the team had a sitdown with Jacob, Rick, and PhilipConcrete color and texture is not correct according to what was agreed to. There was no sample concrete viewing prior to pour, which is their standard process

The guys at Fisk did an excellent job for us. We had an old deck that was installed by a previous homeowner that contributed to water leaking into our basement. The crew came out, tore off the old deck, fixed the grade on the ground, re-graded our backyard, and installed a patio to help with drainage. They also installed underground drainage for the rainwater from our gutters as well. The work was tested quickly by several summer storms. Absolutely no water in the basement at all as everything drained away from the house. To top it all off, they also changed out my railroad timber retaining wall for a much better looking tiered moss rock wall. Cant say enough about the work these guys do. Great job!

Wonderful experience!This past summer we embarked on large project to both produce a beautiful and low maintenance backyard. This included new Trex decks and lighting, a wall as wind block for the barbeque, stamped concrete patio and walkways to the front, fire pit, Colorado moss boulders, and significant landscaping with stamped concrete edging and drip irrigation. Fisk Lawnscaping did everything but the deck construction. We had ideas about what we wanted, but were looking for creative ideas on the best way to achieve our general vision. Fisk collaborated with the firm designing and constructing the decks to produce a coordinated overall plan. We were excited with all the creative ideas both sides brought including great suggestions we wouldn’t have thought of. The entire work force was very respectful, no radios, no vulgar language, always making sure the work was to our satisfaction, and cleaning up every night before leaving. On most projects, you hope the result is close to what you wanted, in this case, it turned out much better than we could have imagined and hope for. Everyone that comes over is stunned by the beautiful transformation. If I could give Fisk a 5+ star rating, I would do it.

We have used Fisk Lawnscapes for pretty much as long as they have been in business. In that time, they have done a full xeriscape of our front yard as will as several smaller jobs including a water feature. In every case, their work has been impeccable and the service has been second to none. You will not find a more knowledgable business or one that cares for their clients. I highly recommend them. And, by the way, the xeriscape has done well over the years and we still love it.

After investing over $15,000 on both front and back yard, the place looked great and I was satisfied with the result. The trouble begins when warranty work is needed. Simple oversights which werent corrected during install or after the first of two visits to repair broken irrigation caused a skyrocket in utility expense for water. After the issue was finally addressed, I was billed for the warranty work. Overall an unpleasant experience (but please see edit below) which leaves me unable to recommend them to friends or family.EDIT: 8/14/2018 - I was contacted by the owner of the company who listened to my case and offered a sincere apology. I was satisfied to hear that measures would be taken in the future to avoid this type of issue and money I paid for this warranty work is being returned. Changing the review positively because ownership took ownership and was reasonable in doing so. I am pleased with the outcome and will give them a second chance.

Working with Fisk Landscapes was a comfortable experience as they take the time to fully understand a SHARED vision between customer and business provider. As an owner of a new home build with a lot of exposed raw areas and drainage, Fisk Landscapes built a beautiful rock swale that now moves clean water and prevents erosion as well as a beautiful sod and sprinkler installment where they take the time and care to properly grade and prepare the area before installment. Lastly, Fisk Landscapes understands that visions take time and can change, therefore they do not try and sell you on other work. They simply want to earn your future business based on the work at hand and they certainly have earned mine.

I have tried contacting Fisk multiple times for weeks and nobody returns any of my messages. Surprised given all the great reviews. So, they are either too busy, too lazy, out of business, or having technical issues with their messaging systems.With respect to the owner response below, it is appreciated. However, I have no emails from you guys. And with my last attempt to contact you, I didnt fill out any form but emailed your business email address directly. No response. I didnt call back after your vms after leaving this review because Im just over it at this point.

Fisk did an excellent job with our backyard landscaping job. The yard looks great, minus a couple dry spots in the new sod, but I assume thats due to the non stop heat we are having lately. The only issue that occurred, was that my cable/internet line was cut during the sprinkler installation. The cable was unmarked by the utility company, so I dont blame Fisk for this cut. But, I wasnt informed right away when the cable was cut. A minor gripe really. Everything looks great and I thank Fisk for the great and fast work that they accomplished.

Always impressed with how professional and friendly all the employees are at Fisk Lawnscapes. From beginning to end they provide exceptional service.

Our yard looks really good, but we felt like the overall experience had some frustrating hiccups. The foreman, Dan, was really great, nice, and we didnt really have any problems with the exception of a couple workers on the job the second or third day. One of the workers placed a boom box outside our bedroom sliding door at 8am and it was super loud and distracting while we were trying to sleep. We understand thats when they begin their hours of work, but we felt it was unnessecary for that to happen on a loud volume right outside our bedroom window. The same day, he cut the internet cord in three different places although we had locating services done. We get that accidents happen, but after it was cut in 3 places and not brought to our attention right away, we understandably got a little frustrated that day with the service. Today, a week after the job has been completed, the sprinkler system is now leaking in the backyard and they have not gotten back to us today after calling 3 times, and a weekend is coming up so we are concerned about the new sod not getting enough water. (Im sure they will get back to us on Monday but its a little frustrating). Anyways, the front yard looks awesome, and Im not saying dont hire them for service, but just try and be aware of the things that have happened with us so you can try and prevent them happening to you. 5 stars for quality, 3 stars for service. Thank you Fisk for making our front yard look great!
