It was pretty good, but overwhelming. Very clean with a mostly friendly & helpful staff. We came in to look around without an appointment and got overwhelmed. We then scheduled an appointment for a couple days later so we can have personal help with a stylist. Didnt seem to help too much. The stylist was more shy than my teenager so it was still difficult and & a bit frustrating.

It was my first time trying on a formal dress and I have one of their employees named Jordan and she was sweet and very understanding of my concerns and she helped me find THE dress for homecoming. Thank you so much for being there to help me find a dress, Jordan! I felt special in the dress!🥰🤩

We had a wonderful experience choosing my daughters wedding dress at David’s Bridal. Anna R. was very helpful and we never felt rushed. We had to buy off the rack due to timing and that was not a problem at all. The alteration lady (sorry, can’t remember her name) was also very helpful in talking us through our options. I have a last minute bridesmaid dress crisis. I made an appointment (best way to go even though they take walk ins) and got in right away. I was able to find a dress and the staff ensured that I got it on time and helped me to make sure it was a better fit from my other dress option. They were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and patient. Great service!

Karen, Sarah, and Stephanie made the impossible possible and they brought happy tears to my face. There was a mistake that occurred with my first wedding dress alteration, but these ladies would not give up until we found a perfect solution. They were willing to find the necessary material, and put in the immense amount of hours, energy, and effort to make sure the end result turned out even better than I could’ve imagined. They only had a couple weeks to pull everything off and my dress is a dream; I really feel like a princess in it. I owe it to the team members at David’s Bridal that wouldn’t give up on me.

I had my Alterations appointment today, all of the staff was so friendly and accommodating to me and my ridiculousness. Toni, Karen and Mackenzie were all so wonderful. (Alts prices were fantastic too)

I honestly dont take time to write reviews unless I really feel the need to. Anna R at this Davids Bridal was AMAZING at helping me find my perfect dress! She was enthusiastic and supportive and helped me with everthing I needed. I was literally smiling from ear to ear the entire time! I ended up finding 2 dresses under her guidance and I highly recommend this place. Friendly staff all around (the manager on duty actually also came over and introduced herself) large selection of dresses and great prices for those of us looking not to break the bank! I would recommend to anyone and I will be back again for any future dresses I may need for fancier occasions!

Anna R was such an amazing help to my sister and myself when searching for the perfect bridesmaid dresses. We waited a little too long and were having a hard time finding dresses that would be able to arrive in time for the wedding but luckily Anna kept pushing through and brought us a number of different options. She never let herself get down about how frustrating things were for us. I’m so thankful she helped us find the perfect dresses.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to get my dress here, but after trying them on I fell in love. So many beautiful dresses to choose from with varying prices. Abby, the young lady that helped, was so amazing. She made me feel special and heard. She helped me find the dress that made me feel beautiful. Would highly recommend her! She even helped my nephews and nieces with toys to entertain them.

I had such a wonderful experience at David’s Bridal in Colorado Springs today that I wanted to share it with others. I needed to purchase a Matron of honor dress very soon and so I was buying off the rack-no time to order. I needed a good color and fit as I wouldn’t have time for alterations either. Ms. Sophia figured out what would work best for me and she kept the dresses coming, she even had another lovely associate check in and grab more styles. I soon found the perfect one! I still needed some small alterations, which I was planning on doing on my own. However, as I was purchasing the dress, both seamstresses came over to talk to me. Ms. Karen and Ms. Katelyn learned of my dilemma to get alterations and when they found out what I needed, they took me in the back and were able to make the changes to the dress on the spot! They also told me to bring the dress back a couple days before the wedding and they would love to steam it for me. I knew after initial consultation that my timeline was too short for alterations, but isn’t it amazing how all the ladies bent over backwards to get it done for me right there? I’m so grateful for everything they did and the care they all showed. They had a very busy day and so it really meant so much. Thank you gals!

I had the most amazing a memorable experience shopping for my wedding dress. Daniela was such an amazing help and so patient with me. She didn’t rush me or pressure me to just pick on. I visited Davids bridal and loved my experience. Being plus size I was worried about finding dresses in store to try on. I didnt have that problem at all and was made to feel beautiful the entire time. My consultant Anna was amazing and I ended up finding the perfect dress.

Miranda, my consultant listened and pulled dressed that blew me away. Ugh! Where do I begin!! I had a bit of a dress nightmare trying to order off of a website but came to Davids and Anna A was soooo amazing and helped me walk out with a lovely dress I fell in love with. Thank you so much!!

I shopped for my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses here. I found a top contender for a wedding dress but I wanted to see my last bridal appointment through at a different location. When I asked if I could let them know the next day if I want the dress, they told me they couldn’t guarantee that it would come in time for my wedding and it would be best to order the dress now. if I ordered it that day then it would’ve arrived within a few weeks. I don’t think ONE DAY would’ve made that big of a difference in when my dress would arrive. The sales rep was not very friendly and did the bare minimum for me. Everywhere else I went the sales reps were super friendly and did their best to add to my excitement. I decided to give the store another chance and get my bridesmaids dresses there. One of my bridesmaids lives out of state and I went in to pick up the dress (since they can’t ship to out of state David’s Bridals). And it was ordered in the wrong color! And when I told them about it they ordered a new one and all of a sudden decided they could ship the new dress out of state to her location. Once her dress was corrected, they called my bridesmaid and expected her to pick it up from this location instead of shipping it to her. Shopping for a wedding dress and bridesmaids dress did not make the experience of planning a wedding very fun. David’s Bridal was one of the stressors you want to avoid during the wedding planning process.

Welcoming store with a good selection of unique dresses. Both my sister and I chose this store to buy our dresses. The staff have attentive and serving attitudes. I could tell they were well educated and did a very good job helping me select a variety of dresses for my body shape and desires. The store and staff provided a lot to the dress buying experience with some very nice changing rooms and a bell you can ring when you pick one. I didnt feel pressured to buy and the hour I had was enough to try a good handful of dresses on and even retry some of them. They have an option to fix and alternate the dress for you as well when you buy. The most valuable part I experienced was the staffs ability to navigate the differences in dresses and pin them in a way I could see what it would look like on my wedding day with the proper alternations. Expect each dress to cost between 300-800 with some being around 1000-1400.

Finding my dress was the easy part, getting the dress altered was a whole other story. Even though it took 4 times to come in, once both Karen and Stephanie took over alternations, the process was magical and fast. They truly saved the day; came in on their days off to make sure my dress was completed the way I’d always envisioned it looking. They need a raise!

If I could give zero stars I would. We ordered dresses from the Colorado Springs location and the team there not only order the wrong size twice but then order the wrong dress when I spoke with Toni the manager she promised to fix everything no cost to us. When the day came Alana told us no was very rude, her age really came out at this moment, we got eye roll back talk and just plain rude responses. Thank you to Sarah and the alteration team they were the only pleasant people there. To work for this type of company and not understand how important a wedding day is maybe it shows something about the hiring process or the company in general.

Even if you didn’t buy your dress here COME HERE FOR ALTERATIONS!!!!! The alterations team is incredible. I worked closely with Karen and she was amazing. My dress is perfect. I also want to say that everyone we’ve worked with at David’s bridal was awesome.

This place made me want to give up on even having a wedding dress. The store didnt have a very good selection of wedding dresses, out of what they did have the stylist didnt listen to me at all in what I wanted. I tried on 5 dresses before I just gave up. Then she told my bridesmaid that she was to large to fit into anything they had in the store. She was also done at that point. My fiance came in to get fitted for his tux and they didnt have anything for him to even look at. I dont recommend you go here for a dress. Hopefully somewhere else has a better experience and selection and I can find my dress.

The alterations lady is nice and friendly. I had one dress for the wedding of a friend. It took 8 weeks and 2 delays in the pickup of the dress to get the alterations done. The dress was under $100 to purchase. The alterations (basic) were $100. When I picked it up, they had not removed the ‘boning’ as the original alterations directed (and I payed for as well). I had to wait 30 minutes for this to be done. As I waited, I realized that the strange odor I smelled, in the area of the dressing rooms and alterations, is that of a men’s locker room. They truly need to ventilate or clean the carpets. I have another wedding this year, my son, and I found a dress at high end department store. I will take it to a dry cleaner to have the alterations done. Truly not a good experience!

Christiana was my consultant for my recent appointment and she was amazing. She was super supportive and accomodating and helped me to find my dress on my first visit! We had a different consultant for the bridal party right after and that was definitely a bit more hands-off and we didnt get too much in terms of consulting or communicating much, but we were still able to find really great dresses and were very pleased.

So much fun! I am truly truly thoroughly so impressed by Miranda. Her thoughtfulness and attention to what I was wanting was beautiful and she executed what was in my mind so well! I felt so beautiful and I found the dress of my dreams!Highly recommend David’s Bridal! Thank you all so so much!💗

My family has been going through them for generations and never had an issue. Their prices are also decent and they are extremely helpful.

We scheduled an appt online for homecoming. When i walked in the front door with my teenagers ready for fittings the girl at the front desk asked with annoyance how she could help us. I advised her we had an appt for homecoming to find an outfit for my son. She told me “there is always confusion with this, you can go to men’s warehouse, we don’t sell this stuff in store only online”. Why do you promote it then to make an appt and get in for your homecoming needs? Waste of time and horrible customer service acting like I misunderstood clearly what your online website portrays. Ew. She was rude.

I am a plus size girl and was very nervous about getting sized for my wedding dress. When I went into Davids Bridal to get sized everyone was so welcoming and kind! I never once felt like I was treated differently because of my size! I would forsure recommend Davids Bridal to any person looking to buy a dress! They are outstanding!

I had an appointment and I was a little concerned with the time frame (only an hour to find THE dress). But I went in, showed my girl the dress style I wanted and within 2 minutes she had pulled 3-4 dresses for me to try on. Then let me choose an additional few. Wishing the hour, I had found the perfect one. She was so patient and her eagerness to help me decide didn’t go unnoticed. There’s a reason David’s Bridal has been around so long, and it’s because they’re the best!!

While I was trying on dresses she would bring me more that she thought I might like. She gave very helpful insight on helping me decide. Not only did she give me exceptional assistance, she also managed to do it while helping several other ladies simultaneously. I couldn’t have been more satisfied with my experience! I ended up purchasing two dresses because I just couldn’t decide. Alexandra even helped me to find matching shoes and a clutch, all within my price range!

After going to some different bridal stores and having no luck, we came to David’s Bridal and thankfully found a dress after many dresses! I just want to take a second to RAVE about Toni. She was so, so, so helpful and kind to us. She kept her patience and after each dress that didn’t work or I was kind of on the fence about, she would go “That’s okay! It’s not the dress and we want to find the one that is!”Like you guys I can’t even express how picky I was. We had an appointment with Alexandra in Colorado Springs and she was such a delight! She listened to every word we said and gave us options we were happy with from the first dress she pulled from the rack. She was professional and had a warm welcoming personality. In the end I decided on the dress I want to purchase for my big day thanks to her knowledge, listening and personality. We definitely hope to see her again when we need to go back.

Downer experience. They have all these bridesmaids dresses in my color - but not right now. They have all these dresses available but not in the sizes we need.How can you order and have the dress in a size 8 in three weeks but it takes until the end of November to get it in a size 4?And then she tells me - I can order it in your color (but still 2 entire sizes too big) today, but after tonight I cant guarantee the time frame. So ordering it the next day will what - make it not available until November like half the other dresses...It was a very disappointing experience. Especially when I had bridesmaids here from out of state.

I came here for a first appointment with my Maid of Honor. I tried on 4 beautiful dresses and found THE ONE for hundreds of dollars less than I was expecting! At a place like this, how could you not say yes to the dress?!

I am so impressed with this location and the staff. I went in to pick up a bridesmaid dress for my sisters wedding less than 2 months before the date. Unfortunately, my dress was too small. The sales manager Stephanie took over an hour of her time to track down a dress in a larger size at another store in a different state. That store wanted to charge a delivery fee and extra taxes, so the Academy location paid for those so I wouldnt have to. As soon as it gets here, Ill go in for alterations. Im so grateful to Stephanie for going above and beyond to help me get the dress I need!

I have been putting this off and DREADING it. When I went in today, Sofia was a Godsend! I didn’t feel fat and intimidated like I expected to. Since the wedding is only 2 months away, Sofia helped me find which dress would arrive in time, in my size & in the right color. I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate Sofia’s help! What a kind, genuine young lady!

I went in for a wedding dress, knowing what I had in mind. No one greeted us at the door she stood by a far desk and asked why we were there and then told us to sign a page. After we looking for five minutes a woman came over and said “ the ones out of the bags are the ones you want to look at and the ones inside are different sizes of what you see”, she then went to walk away and we showed her a picture of what we were looking for and in a tiring voice she said “over here is something like that” walked away a couple steps and said the the person who just walked in “so sorry about that wait what can I do for you”. The rest of the time we were in there no one said anything to my mom and I. Horrible customer service and I don’t know if it was our look or what but they were much more attentive to other people coming in.

I had an amazing experience at Davids bridal. I had already purchased a dress for my wedding and immediately had dress regret, and then decided to stop by Davids Bridal to see if there was anything that caught my eye and I found the most amazing beautiful dress!!! I had the joy of working with Christiana , the staff was super friendly very helpful and informative and I love the fact that they are not trying to just push a dress on you to make a sale. they do want to make sure that you are happy with your purchase and I appreciate that since I already had an experience where I was basically talked into getting a dress that just wasnt sitting right with me I definitely give Davids Bridal 5 out of 5 and I would recommend them to anybody looking to purchase wedding attire

I went in to the shop right after a rather traumatizing experience; I am a first time bride, and i had a appointment at another bridal shop, I gave them all my specifications and price range, i tried on two dresses and the assistant told me while i was waiting to try on another dress that they do not have anything in my price range. I was floored! I thought my price range was nominal ($500-1000) I left the shop in tears! I was hoping that my next appt, which was at Davids was not going to be the same experience. I walked into Davids Bridal and was greeted by welcoming smiles, I spoke to the manager Stephanie and told her what i just experienced at BE. She said that she was sorry that happened to me but she was glad that i was there and that they would treat me right. I did find my dress there and it was lovely, i did have to return it and i chose a elegant dress with a long train. The staff there are so nice and the alterations dept is hands down the best! I LOVE LOVE my dress! Thank you so much ladies for treating me with care and respect. Yup.. I got married in a cemetery. :)

The Alterations department was amazing! They had great ideas to add beautiful straps and worked to create a bustle that laid well. Love Karen and the crew over there. However, overall not impressed with my experience getting the dress at this location.I was never measured for the dress so I had to go back in to get measured to ensure that the right size was ordered. The wrong dress was ordered twice and every time I had to call in to confirm the status of the order (once my order was cancelled without any notification to me). I finally got my dress a month and a half after I was originally supposed to after checking in with my order weekly due to poor communication from the store manager (I was told they would call me back with an update, that it would be over night shipped and it wasnt, and I rarely received call backs, etc.).Im happy with the dress but it wasnt worth the stress. I never felt like they cared for me as a customer as there wasnt anything done to help alleviate their multiple errors with the dress nor did the manager take responsibility for their error (just that they entered the wrong dress ID both times and that its easy for that mistake to happen). They gave me a discount on the dress; however, the dress that I originally tried on and thought I had purchased was already on sale at the time I bought it, it just wasnt on sale anymore after they identified which dress I had originally tried on/thought I purchased. So the manager kept saying that I was already receiving a discount when in reality, the dress was originally on sale.Ive had friends who are happy with this location so perhaps this is a rare occasion but if you do order a dress with them, double check that its the right dress with them before paying and if you dont get the dress by the date youre told, call them to save yourself stress! :) However, it was a confusing and stressful process and I wont recommend my friends to go there for their wedding dress because its just not worth it!

After hearing horror stories of bridal shopping while being a plus size bride I was hesitant to go to David’s bridal. As a confident women I am not worried about my size just how I look in the dresses. Let me tell you as soon as I walked in I was greeted with warmth and hospitality I was told to pick whatever dress I liked and they had my size to try on I found my dress and was thrilled how amazing it looked

Because of COVID, my wedding was delayed about 18 months (like many others). I live out of the country and my dress was here in the US so I hadn’t tried it on in over a year. When I tried it on a week and a half before my wedding and it didn’t fit, I of course went I to full panic mode. I arrived at David’s Bridal by myself and crying. Alterations immediately took care of me and calmed me down with their reassurances that it just needed to be let out a little bit. When I picked it up a week later it fit exactly how I had hoped it would. Before I was uncomfortable with in it and 100% not going to wear it, but now I feel comfortable and beautiful in it and am excited for my friends and family to see it.

Kaily was my consultant and did a great job listening to what I had in mind (she had my saved favorites loaded up from their website on her iPad), pulling a few other dresses I hadnt thought of, which were really fun to try on, and suggesting accessories like belts and veils that were really perfect. We were concerned about COVID exposure, so we picked a Wednesday morning/first of the day appointment and were pleased to see masks were required and every single person had one on. It helped cut down the stress of this fun day. Overall I ordered my dress the following week, based on our time together, and am so thrilled to see it arrives Friday. Hooray!

The reason I’m giving this location a 4/5 is because the customer service was incredible and the only reason I had a good experience bridesmaid dress shopping. Breana, Toni, and the other manger were extremely helpful. I had ordered my bridesmaid dress early March and was told it would arrive early June. It still hadn’t arrived by late June. I called the store several times and finally they had the dress overnighted. It arrived early July and when I went to pick it up it was the wrong dress. They worked with me to get the correct one in a week later but I’m lucky I didn’t need any alterations. Again I’m very thankful for the great customer service but the wrong dress shouldn’t have been ordered to begin with and I’m lucky I didn’t require alterations.

We bought my daughters wedding dress from this store. I dont like shopping, but the experience was wonderful.Daniela, our stylist, was kind and knowledgeable. No pressure. She knew which styles would enhace my daughters figure.Tabitha & Caitlyn made the alteration process easy. They are patient and skilled.Toni, the manager, has created a heathy workplace. The employees are happy, the service is organized, and the atmosphere is calm & serene.We all had fun!

Id say this is a good place for prom dresses, but if you want a fun, personable, exciting experience for wedding dress shopping, go to some local bridal store instead. They will be much more personable and excited for you, plus make you look best you can no matter the size dress. Our bridal stylist did absolutely nothing. No pinning, no bringing back dresses, not even helping me get into it? My mother had to get the dresses and help me get into them instead of enjoying and watching me. Not a fun time, and the dresses werent all that impressive. Go somewhere else for wedding dress shopping if you want a pleasant experience thats at least somewhat exciting.

Update: I just picked up my dress. They altered it and it fits wonderfully! I am so excited to wear it! Every staff member interaction was a pleasure- and I highly recommend! Original review: I felt very well taken care of by all of the staff here. Miranda was my stylist. She listened to what design I was looking for (winter hiking elopement- so had some specific needs in a dress) and also gave me enough space when making decisions on a dress. I chose a dress here, and since my ceremony is short notice, they fit me in for alterations a few minutes after I had landed on a dress. Karen is the head of alterations in the shop, and not only is super knowledgeable (she was training a new staff member at the time), but also was willing to work with the deadlines. The coolest part, is that three staff members have degrees in fashion construction (there are only a handful of universities that offer this degree in the US). And one of the staff members has a masters in fashion construction. Expect to be taken care of by knowledgeable and accommodating staff when you come to this Davids Bridal location! I highly recommend!

My sister is getting married on Sunday - yes, THIS Sunday. And the dress she chose months ago is gorgeous but just doesn’t fit the bill anymore. So we came up to DB to see if we could find something wonderful last minute. Sydalia was so incredibly helpful and understanding - and we were lucky enough to find a gorgeous dress that’s just perfect for her big day this weekend. Thank you, Sydalia, for your patience with us - and for hyping us up in what would have been an otherwise stressful last minute shopping experience.

My stylist was amazing!!! Her name was Helen, she helped me so much and was very personable. I would give any bride the advice to request Helen. She is an amazing lady, and makes you feel so comfortable, along with being very knowledgeable and skillful in her career. I didnt go in for a dress fitting like normal. My appointment was strictly to try on bustiers for my Dress. Well needless to say I got help trying on all sorts of sizes till we found the right one. I was so pleased and happy with my experience. My assistant for the day was Sophia and she was amazing. Im literally going online right now to purchase the bustier and so excited!!!

I got my wedding dress here a year and a half ago, and it was a wonderful experience!I also went in yesterday to find a last minute bridesmaid dress. I was under a huge time crunch and also limited on my options, but Svea was very helpful and we found the perfect dress. I love this location, everyone is super helpful :)

From the moment you walk in all of the girls are so friendly. Sofia, Anna Moreno, and the check out girl helped my daughter and I find dresses. We took hours but they were patient and let us take our time while helping the entire time. They were AMAZING!!!

My stylist Anna was absolutely amazing! She was so kind, caring, and thoughtful with helping me pick out my wedding dress!! I honestly felt like she was an old friend or even one of my bridesmaids helping me pick out my dress. She helped me accessories like the blusher, and cathedral veil. I left feeling stress free and unbelievably happy. The manager was also super sweet and asked me about my experience too!! I will definitely be back to pick out my bridesmaid dresses, and recommend this location to my friends in the future! ❤

I took my bridesmaids to david’s bridal one evening to find them a beautiful dress to wear to my wedding. the girl who assisted us was helping out another woman, and kept going back and forth- this didn’t bother me because all i wanted was for her to be able to clip my girls if the dresses were too big. in fact i picked out the dress and color for my girls —BUT THIS WOMAN. mispronounced my name and DID NOT APOLOGIZE. she mispronounced my name and when i corrected her did not look at me and said “that’s fine” — this was so incredibly rude. after this i immediately decided to NOT BUY MY BRIDESMAID DRESSES FROM HERE. all because this woman acted like my name was so insignificant that she did not even have to apologize. after telling my bridesmaids they were also furious with me and we decided to go look elsewhere for our dresses.

Izzy at Davids Bridal Colorado Springs was so helpful and amazing! She helped me find the dress of my dreams and answered all my questions. The Davids Bridal staff was awesome and I am so glad I got my wedding dress from them!

Very warm customer service. All smiles. Very helpful and not just the stylist assigned to help me (Alexandra who did amazing by the way 😊) but every employee. I had a bad experience trying to get a wedding dress from an online site. David’s Bridal saved the day! Ended up getting a beautiful dress and veil for less than budgeted! Thank you.

Absolutely my favorite place to shop for speciality dresses! The staff and management team is EXCELLENT. All the stylists are well versed in their roles and merchandise. Wouldn’t go anywhere else :)

Absolutely loved my alterations apt.Karen was amazing, so kind and patient with all the adjustments that I needed. She knows her stuff and was willing to find creative ways to get the best fit. Highly recommend seeing her!

Stephanie was great! She was so sweet and patient with us. My mom was nervous and self conscious going in and Stephanie helped her feel more confident and find a dress that she loves. I SAID YES!!! I went in to Davids Bridal to just get an idea of what I was looking for but ended up leaving saying YES!!! I arrived early and the ladies were so nice they let me walk around and look at the dresses first and then even look at bridesmaid dresses. My stylist Sydalia was absolutely amazing. Not only did she listen to my wants, she helped me to narrow down exactly what I was looking for. She was very helpful, polite, and professional. I cant wait for my big day to wear my dress again. I was happy with the service and the dresses that they picked out for me. I was already nervous about finding one that fit me right, and they made me more comfortable, but I could have used more opinions on how each one looked on me. I was only able to get one person to come with me to help. Overall, though, I really enjoyed the experience and I cant wait to see what I look like at my wedding.

I didnt know what to expect but I ended up buying the first one I tried on. Costumer service was great! I only gave it 4 stars because they didnt have any black wedding dresses to try on or see. I ended up ordering the white dress I tried on in black but I would have loved to see at least one black/colored dress on display. Im a bit anxious not really knowing what my dress will look like; but Im hopeful and will go back for my alterations. Have a money back option for colored dresses that you where unable to try on would really be helpful for us alternative brides

I was pleasantly surprised at the experience I had shopping for a wedding dress with Svea! My wedding is less than four months away and when looking online, I discovered that all the dresses I wanted (or thought I wanted) wouldnt get here in time. Svea helped me find a dress from the closeout rack and never once did I feel like she was giving me any less than she would a bride buying a $10k dress. She was super friendly, gave me lots of ideas, and even helped me to coordinate colors. Im looking forward to going back with my girls for their bridesmaid dresses.
