Dont bother trying to use Waste Management for your trash pickup. I have had service for 2 months and half of the pickups were missed or rescheduled. I should not have to call repeatedly to have the trash picked up. To make matters worse, I saw the WM truck in my neighborhood yesterday as I was leaving to run errands and they STILL did not pick up the trash. the bins were at the curb starting Monday night and still there today (Wednesday morning). I spent 20 minutes on the phone with a lady with an attitude to get service scheduled for today.

Three stars ONLY because our service person was AMAZING! Weve had service at this address for 6 years with no problems, but our trash collector retired and move south. Now the service is spotty at best. I live in rural Colorado. Wild animals are an actual issue here. Telling me to just stack the second weeks trash around the bin, theyll pick up two weeks worth at once is NOT acceptable! Now weve changed trash providers and cant get Waste Management to pick up their bin. Was promised it would be GONE by Friday. Amazingly, despite calling every business day, no one bothered to tell me they were behind on pick up until this afternoon. Now its supposed to just SIT in front of my house until this Friday. And the excuse I was told for the delay... the company is SHORT on bins to deliver! Theyd be short one less if theyd come pick up MY bin! I WILL NOT be held liable if anything happens to this bin! It WILL remain OFF my property until such time that it is picked up, or the wind out here blows it to God knows where!

Used to be good. But now rarely pick up the trash on schedule. You cant get through on their phone line, when you do, it automatically hangs up. Cancelled service. Were supposed to pick up bins in 5 business days. Day 6 and bins still here. Cant get through to anyone. STAY AWAY!

Find someone else. They have 2 things to do... Take my money and pick up my trash. They consistently fail on both counts. If you call, hold times are 30-45 minutes. Email response 3 days if at all. Most frustrating company ever!

Havent been in a long time. Its definitely changed for the better. You get weighed, the lady in the booth gives you a number and you drive up the hill. You pay before you leave, after youre reweighed. They no longer take $100 bills unless your bill is $80 or more. They have a place for asbestos as well. Guys around pick up the loose trash and get paid VERY well to do so. Check out my pics and videos for more insight.

I got their services and have yet to come and pick up my trash. I called numerous times and the wait is for almost an hour to be able to speak with someone with no success. I never thought they would be so unprofessional. My trash has been seating out on my driveway for almost 2 weeks now and they have the audacity to say there wasn’t anything there to pick up.

First - this review is for the WM Service COS, not the Landfill, however, when trying to find the parent company or service area to provide feedback, no such site seems to exist for Google review. Which I find really interesting, since when you go to the WM website there is is a big banner specifically with 5-star Google reviews. Wonder where they got those.... Anyway, if you want to provide me the right profile for the pickup to put this review, I will be happy to move it.Look, I get it, its trash. Why even write a review? Well, Ive had their services for nearly 10 years now (trash & recycling) and no reason to write a review because, well, its trash. So long as its picked up, who cares? Well, thats the problem. I am now looking for a new service provider because the WM service has been that inconsistent. At least every other week for months now they are late (without telling us, and we need to keep our trashcans put away for HOA except for pickup day), and this week we are told there is an operational issue and [they] will pick up double the trash next week -- meaning no one is coming this week at all.....At the height of summer........When it smells god awful and our cans must be in our garage because of HOA, so its leaking the nasty smell into the house....Nope. Thats the last straw.We are in a busy residential area, but all our neighbors have Waste Connections (formerly Springs Waste), so maybe we keep getting missed because we are no longer a prime spot (we moved 3 yrs ago, but kept our services). I dont know if thats the reason, but if it is, then dont offer me service if you cant (consistently!) honor it anymore. All I do know is that after 10 years, Im changing services because something is going terribly wrong for months now with these guys.

Dont pick my trash up every week or every Wednesday, Sometimes it’s Thursday or Friday if they show up that week. Then they charged me a fee for paying my bill one day late. Do not recommend!

Been a consistent customer for 20 years. Not anymore. WM has been very inconsistent with pick up during the past year. I can tolerate a day late once in a while, but trash pick up once every two weeks is not acceptable. The only thing consistent about WM now, is that they are inconsistent. So long!

*And another week my service isnt picked up on time (two weeks in a row again) got a voicemail back after I sent another complaint in. He pretty much told me its fine they missed a time in May because they sent out a notice to my email*Ive had WM trash service for about 9 months now and could probably count on one hand the days our trash & recycling has been picked up on time! I understand things happen OCCASIONALLY but its almost every single week now. Having to leave our bins out an extra day before it gets picked up. And with the wind lately I get to come home and pickup my trash thats blown everywhere since it takes forever to get picked up! Ridiculous! Cant wait to cancel this summer!

Absolutely by far the worst trash service! Every week they reschedule the pickup date! This has been going on since last summer a couple times they where 1week late, we have a lot of dissatisfied people in our community and will probably change companies! DO NOT waste your money with this trash service! They don’t care about their customers! The times they were a week late everyone still had to pay the full month!

Constant rescheduling. Inconsistent and unreliable service for recycling and trash. Constant excuses and very little notice. You’ll maybe get an email the night before after you probably already put your trash bins out. One time I got a notification at 8pm the day it was suppose to come that it was rescheduled to the following week. They are the most expensive trash service even when they actually come 4 times in a month so if you take it down to 2 or 3 even it becomes THAT much more expensive and definitely not worth it. Don’t recommend at all.

This is the 4th time in a row that our services have been rescheduled . Totally uncalled for and it’s not the first time since this trend started . Once every now and then due to weather is totally understandable but when it’s bright and sunny out their shouldn’t be any excuse ! You don’t have a problem taking my money , but certainly have an issue providing the service we’re paying for . I need Managements direct phone number and change needs to be made . Canceling first thing before my next bill is due . Totally unacceptable !!

The website says colorado springs landfill and gives the correct address and closing time information but the phone number is a central waste management number that takes 30 min and navigating a useless menu system that does not get me the number and has no options to get me in contact with the landfill. Put the number of the landfill next to the address of the landfill so I dont waste my time with menus and people who know nothing about the landfill please

I would give negative stars if I could. They haven’t picked up on time in several weeks, even missing a week altogether due to a “service disruption”. They charged me literally 2 weeks ago and refused a refund for unused service, even tried to charge me a $75 pickup fee for the garbage cans. Horrible. Stay away!

Will be changing trash companies if I keep getting rescheduled.. no problem taking my money and skipped two weeks in a row and didnt a discount or anything. Backed up on trash and now garage smells. Also never notified me thag the trash was rescheduled. I’ve called the main line so many times I have the # memorized to figure out when the trash is being picked up.

Zero customer service, haven’t delivered bin and charging double what they stated. When you call and ask after you wait for 30 minutes on hold if the person doesn’t know what to say for the extra charges they push you back to the prompt system to wait for another 30 minutes.

Moved into a new home and scheduled service with WM. They didnt drop off the bin to start with on the scheduled day and I had to contact them to ask where it was. Now, they never picked up on my scheduled day last week. They emailed to say I was being rescheduled to the next day. Wheeled the bin to the curb on day 2....WM didnt show up again. They told me they would pick up on the 3rd day....nope, no show again. And on my regular pickup day this week....guess what? No show AGAIN. I am paying for a service that they dont provide as it stands. Stay away!

If I could rate them negative stars I would. It is very disappointing as their service and driver had been a solid five stars until this last two months. Three of the last four pickups have been missed on the scheduled day despite showing it on schedule on the website. They then reschedule for the next day, miss that and then it actually gets picked up on the third. The last two times this occurred I called on the scheduled pick up day at noon and was promised it would be picked up. One time they even stated they would call me back if something had changed. Needless to say neither occurred. Overall horrible service and those you call do not have any valuable information. Steer clear unless you just want you trash out every day of the week.

These reviewed are meant for the WM landfill in Colorado Springs. It’s received many bad reviews because of other services.The landfill is the best value that I’ve found between Fountain and Erie. I go out of my way to us this landfill. The lady serving as the attendant is always nice, it’s not overcrowded, good hours, and best of all the price is the lowest I’ve found.Thank you for serving our community!

I have tired numerous times to get a hole of a customer service representative talk to me and I could not get a hold of anyone. My bill goes up every 3 months, I could not get a hold of anyone to talk to me about it and get an explanation. So I paid the bill, still trying to get a hold of someone and cannot. And then I got a late fee bill. I have never been late on payment. I have had service for over 6 years. Terrible customer service and I want my late fee waived. I have automatic bill pay for all my bills expect waste management because they are always changing my bill total. I cannot get an explanation for anything!

This is the worst trash service in Colorado Springs. Dropped off full trash cans at my new residence and blamed me. Charged me $300 in fraudulent charges in 3weeks of service where they picked up my trash once and it was the full cans they dropped off to me. Dont make the same mistake!

Moved into a new residence and set up my trash service with WM. I was pleased how easy it was to setup and pay the initial costs to start my service. Taking my money was the only thing they were urgent about. I was scheduled a 15th drop off day for my cans and it is now the 19th with no drop off and now I have moving-trash piled in my garage and missed my scheduled pickup date. I have had two changed drop-off dates scheduled and each day nothing arrived and had a complaint file submitted the 18th and STILL nothing arrived. Stay away. Dont use. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Still havent been refunded my initial costs either.

This was my worst experience we a trash and recycling removal company in my life. They would change the pick up date without warning (not just for inclement weather) they brought me a dirty trash can that smelled like old cigarettes. My only regret is giving them a chance to begin with. Now they are charging me 75 dollars to return the bins. If you’re moving to Colorado Springs do yourself and your pocket a favor and look into green for life.

It is becoming recurrent that at least once a month, there is a delay in pickup (and not necessarily because of weather conditions), meanwhile the trash piles up, they dont pay for pest control, you know. On the other hand, my neighbor next door has another company for trash pickup, they pickup regardless of snow, even if their trucks are not so pretty. On the replies Ive read, this company pride themselves in service, but really, you should get your operations in order, if this city is growing bigger, certainly you should seriously keep up and purchase more trucks and hire more drivers to make up for increased demand. Not looking forward to renew for another year.

Over the past two months, Ive had to reach out to Waste Management no fewer than 6 times due to missed pickups. Each time they say to leave our cans out and they will be picked up in the next 48 hours. 48 hours come and go, and guess what - my can is still on the curb not picked up. They are trying to charge a $75 cancellation fee on top of the paid services they didnt render. Will not recommend to anyone, already cancelled and switched to another provider that hopefully wont be such a rip off.

Absolutely the worst service. I am currently not a Waste Management customer and considering the level of service I have received I WILL NEVER BE! I have attempted to have two cans picked up from previous tenants that lived here prior. I told was 5-10 days 20 days ago. I have sent emails and have only gotten generated response.

I want to contact the landfill directly. I dont seem to find the phone number. I called the number listed and it was the main office. After answering the many computer system questions I finally got a rep to talk with. She told me she doesnt have the number to the landfill and doesnt know how to contact them. She said to find out what to dispose of is to take it to the landfill and theyll let me know if I can dispose of it. I told her that doesnt make sense and she just said the typical scripted answer. Im sorry but this is thd way we do it. What a way to run a business. Very frustrating!

I signed up for the service. They never delivered the cans. Now, I have to cancel and find another garbage company. There is literally no way to contact the local company. I called the number and the people who answered cant contact the local company. Do yourself a favor and go with someone else, and most of the 5 star reviews are fakes.

We started service with this company. They promised a delivery of our bins on a specific day along with trash pickup. They did not deliver the bins. Contacted the WM several times via phone and email and they did not respond via email. When I would take with someone, they would tell me that they are sorry and would deliver. Still has not happened. Horrible service, and we thought that we were going to have great service with WM. I was wrong.

$47.50 to dump off an old cabinet and a couple pieces of wood. terrible attitude from the weight attendant. Sign on the entrance says $12 for a small load. Dont waste your time if you have less than 1 ton of weight.

They charge by the ton which the WM website says otherwise. Anything less than a ton is $45 regardless. The website is misleading with the prices and recommend going somewhere else to dump your stuff. Complete ripoff. I only had about 100lbs of trash. I would of gone somewhere else but it was 20 miles away from my house. Workers there were disgruntle when I asked where I could dump my trash. Not worth the trip and will be the first and last time I go there.

Do you want to be treated like the trash you dump? Then go to this landfill. We went there for the first time ever, told them it was our first time dumping there. We drove our garbage to where we were told to go, only to be chased around by bulldozers, piloted by incompetent failures who couldnt agree on where on the giant trash heap, where we could dump our trash. We pulled up to a spot to dump, only to be physically chased away by a bulldozer that refused to stop lest we get run over. Then a dozer jockey told us where to go, when we got there, another dozer raced up honking to command us to a different location, only for the same thing to happen again. Finally after 4, yes, FOUR RELOCATIONS we were allowed to dump our trash, only to get scolded on checkout that we upset their guys. If you want to be bullied by a bunch of middle aged men driving bulldozers who apparently cant coordinate with each other, then this is the place for you. Oh, and dont forget you need to pay the bullies before you leave.
