Easy case, my ex didnt want to respond to mediation request so needed a lawyer. Ended up paying over $4,000 for paperwork and mediation help. Paralegal was wonderful, but lawyer refused to ask for lawyer fees nor would he include childcare costs. I felt like a uneducated woman whos requests were insignificant. Asking for their help was a mistake.

Everyone at Maceau Law was wonderful, they were easy to work with they utilized the time spent together efficiently in order to reduce my costs of working with a lawyer through my divorce. They kept me in the loop through the whole process and my attorney arrived early to the court date to walk through what I would have to do at the final orders hearing. They saved me so much time and trouble of doing the divorce on my own. Best decision I have made and was definitely worth the money to get help with the divorce.

Worst attorneys I have ever met. They found a way to get the judge to make me pay more to my ex-wife than even she and her attorneys were asking for. They took 10k from me and I was totally screwed for it. Beware! They constantly ignored my calls and emails, kept me in the dark throughout the process. My life would have been so much better if I had found any other law firm.

It has been 6 months since taking my case and they have completed ZERO tasks on my case. This firm collected my retainer and now since explaining my case to 2 lawyers repeatedly (Elizabeth Thomas and Gregory Maceau) and one paralegal..... they refuse to answer phone calls or return emails. ZERO compassion for their clients. Charlatans! If you have had a similar circumstance I would compel you to contact the Colorado supreme court and file a complaint. BEWARE!

I called this law firm 2 weeks ago to see if any lawyers can help with a dispute on a student loan. I called asking if anyone could give me advice about my situation and the secretary or whoever she was put me on hold to see if anyone could help me, she got back onto the phone and said “the lawyer who would know about this is in a meeting, can I get your name and number and I will call you back later today to get you set up with a appointment” so I gave her my information said bye and hung up. I waited all day for the call back and never received one. Figured since my husband and I worked with this law firm in the past when we needed help with changing our daughters last name why not work them again to see if they can help me with my situation. They we’re very professional in the past but very unprofessional with not giving me a call back. I wouldn’t recommend this law firm to anyone looking for one. So here I am three weeks later still on the hunt looking for a honest reputable lawyer.

I had a horrible experience working with this office! I was robbed of my $4500 with NOTHING to show for it. They also like to keep your money hostage (It has taken me about 4-5 months) when you try to get it back. The lack of communication is ridiculous. The worst experience Ive had with a law office. I worked with Mark Anthony, we had a consultation, and while I didnt actually have them represent me, I did get great advice for my accident. We went over what the benefits to attaining representation could be, which in my case may not have benefited me in anyway. How many lawyer will tell you honestly when not getting a lawyer is in your best interest. May I never need a lawyer, God forbid I do, I will come back to Maceau Law.

Guy showed up late if at all. Lied about the plea deal to make it go more swiftly for him. If you are facing serious consequences, I would strongly urge you to get a more capable defense team.

When I first saw what I thought was suppose to be my attorneys I was pleased, but when I had my first court appearance no one contacted me the day prior or the day of, it took me having to call them after 5 min of my scheduled time to see what was going on. They informed me at the time that I had a new lawyer working on my case, boy was I hot not only did I not meet her I had no idea what she looked like!When moving forward with my lawyer I had only spoke to her twice. She avoided my calls like the plague and I would get a lot of conflicting information when I did speak to her. In order for me to get information on my case I literally had to do random pop ups because no one would really call back. They are unorganized, unreliable, and I believe she was trying to push my case out longer for money purposes. Once my case was done they never bothered giving me a certified copy, they informed me I had to go to court to get it which cost another $45 because I have to have it mailed out of state now.

If I could give a negative star I would. Spelled my name and exe husbands name wrong on the paperwork, didnt withdrawal from the case so it kept getting pushed back, and theyre holding my money hostage. We will give you a call. My ass. I wrote a post on Facebook and was directed to them after many failed attempts with other people. They did a phone consult which helped me tremendously being on bedrest and pregnant. They took my case even though we had to cross state lines and deal with all the drama. They handled everything so I didnt have too. They did all the paperwork and didnt charge me an astronomical amount that they could have. Even though I hounded them they were understanding and sweet about everything. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. They made the step parent adoption stressfree and as quick as they could. It did take awhile due to other agencies but they stuck by and made sure it was handled. Thanks ladies for all yalls help and making my husbands and sons dreams finally come true and completing my family after years of abuse and thousands of wasted dollars.

I started looking for an attorney in January 2017 , I researched like crazy, came across Marceau and they had 5 stars, great reviews. Set up a free consultation, it went great so I hired them April 2017. They started my case and things seemed to be going good then I didn’t hear from them for two months after they started my case. I kept emailing and calling and no one knew a thing. Finally in The middle of June 2017 I heard from them and they started my case again, I guess they went their some employee changes. Lack of communication still sucked , so when I saw people asking on Facebook about attorneys I told them not to use this law firm! Well one of the ladies who works there , her daughter saw what I said so they called me in the office thought if they put some money back in my trust in would make things better. My case was just to change some thing in my child agreeement with my ex and to review child support , it ended up turning into more, my ex wanted custody of my kids. So my attorney Elizabeth Thomas told me not to worry we got this, a judge won’t let the kids talk , since my ex was never there he wouldn’t get custody. So I thought ok we got this July 2018 My case is still going on because my ex didn’t even get a lawyer until May 2018, another reason why Elizabeth told me we would win. So in July my ex hires a clr , my brainwashed kids say they want to live with their dad. I get called into the office for 3 attorney’s to tell me to basically give up and told me their personal stories with their kids. So here I am feeling hopeless , I have attorneys who won’t even help fight for what I want, which is what I thought attorneys were for. We have a settlement conference with the clr and my ex’s attorney, I ended up ha omg to walk out and I hear my attorney laughing it up with them in the room. Then my hearing comes August 2018, as soon as I get to the court room my attorney is still trying to talk me out of the hearing and making me give up my kids , so I gave up, and again my attorney starts laughing it up with the other side. I feel she was never in my side , all this company wants is money! Anytime I emailed ir called for information I was ignored for a while then given excuses as to why they didn’t get back to me. They didn’t listen to my concerns at all. I gave them $4,000 and then have to pay another $5,000 for them not doing their job! They charged my $65 to read a 6 word email! I will make sure everyone in Colorado Springs knows not to use this law firm!

Now my money is give and they havent even filed the form I hired them to file. Now I have to do it myself.
