Before today- I believed planning for funerals would be a hard, sad time. After sitting down with Brett and arranging for my funeral to be prepaid- I can say that it was easier than I could have imagined. I know that my husband and I will be treated with dignity and respect!Everyone at Swan-Law was amazing! I’m so glad that I went!I cannot recommend pre-paying for your funeral with such a thoughtful, caring company highly enough!

When our son passed away, we had no idea how to finish the awful day we started. When they came and retrieved our son, they were respectful and understanding. They brought him to their care center (and honestly that helped a lot thinking that my son went to a care center with some good folks). We were able to dress our son, baptize him, place him in his casket. We were able to have time to grieve ourselves before his service so we could give him the best day we could. We were allowed to release doves with the help of a dove release company (wings over colorado) and everyone who was at swan law that day helped so much, including burning a CD for us for our sons service.I honestly cant recommend these folks enough. Dont worry about suprising them with requests. Just be honest about your views and feelings for your loved one and they can absolutely help.

Taylor M. was great, in not only a difficult situation of our Father passing, but he had a policy that was from the 1980s and Taylor did all the leg work to ensure the obligations of the contract were met. Our family wanted something simple and dignified and Taylor and her associates truly rose to the occasion, it was more than we hoped for. Thank you for your help, all my family has been serviced by Swan Law and I easily would recommend them for after life help.

My family and I are dealing with the difficult and tragic loss of a disabled sibling. Prepaid funeral arrangements became necessary and our particular situation is wrought with complexity. The entire concept of making the choices one must was almost more than my poor mother could bear.As dark as these matters are, it was fortunate discernment on our part that we chose Swan Law for the arrangements. Our family felt fortunate that my father pre-planned with Swan Law well in advance of his passing in 2020. From start to finish, my experience with Swan Law was extremely positive. The employees who answered the phone were always very kind. The gentlemen from Swan Law who arrived shortly after my fathers passing to transport him to the funeral home were respectful and neatly dressed in suits, even though it was 2AM. Taylor Mealer assisted me with everything else and and was amazingly helpful and detail-oriented. Because of the pandemic and the fact that our family is scattered all over the US, I delayed my fathers memorial service for a little over a year, until the pandemic had lifted. Even though many details had to be worked out after I returned to my home on the east coast, Taylor did not miss a beat and, among other things, assisted me long-distance in putting together a wonderful memorial program and slide show. I recommend Swan Law most highly and without reservation.

The call that all parents are afraid they could get, happened to me last Tues 4-6-21. The coroners office called to tell me my youngest son was dead. Stephanie was so kind and patient helping make sense of what she had told me. In my shock and grief, I felt it would be best for me to go ahead and start on the process of bringing him home. I Googled funeral homes and called the one who had the best reviews, Swan-Law in Colorado Springs. I dealt with Taylor, a director there, and she helped me through a fairly seamless process for cremation, getting my son home. She sent me an inventory list of his belongings, so I could pick what I wanted back for me and my grandson. She kept in frequent contact with me, answered all my questions, with her kind and caring patience. She will send my son home tomorrow 4/13/21 and his belongings to me in next 2 days. She helped me get through this painful event, and Ill always be grateful.

I want to thank everyone for all their kindnesses. The funeral home itself is beautiful. We were assisted by Alexis. She was very good. I understand this is a business but sometimes it’s not explained clearly what is and is not included. Everything is presented as if they were things you had to purchase or utilize. It wasn’t until we asked do we have to do that it was explained. I would suggest in the presentation it was stated that you can do this or that for an additional amount. It’s a vulnerable time.Overall it was a beautiful day. Sandy at the front desk; Stacy assisted one day; and Jim stayed with us the entire time at the viewing. All were appreciated immensely.We needed a priest and Alexis assisted and helped us. The Deacon from Corpus Christi church was kind and wonderful and gave a wonderful service.My husband was given a beautiful service and I thank and recommend everyone.

The lady who helped was Taylor. She was kind, understanding, helpful, and professional. It was a strange situation and she handled it with grace. I appreciate how she walked me through all the steps of the cremation and burial. If you need this kind of service I would recommend Swan-Law.

Terrible Funeral director that doesnt give complete information at the planning of your burial. Then you get a bill for$1100 5 weeks later. Maybe they need to train their staff better.

Ron was very helpful for us. We recently lost our 3.5 year old daughter and Swan Law went over and above our expectations taking care of all the details. In fact, they only charged us their bare cost to take care of everything! He even did the research to plant a memorial tree in a local park. Chris went above and beyond when my father passed very unexpectedly (not corona related). He helped us navigate the confusion of new regulations related to the coivd pandemic. We were able to have a small private viewing for immediate family and send my father to his eternal resting spot in peace. We were even able to put a special family touch to the urn before cremation. Swan Law was very professional and compassionate in every step of the process. They are someone I know I can turn to if and when the need arises again.

The people at Swan-Law were compassionate, sincere, and completely understanding when my mother passed away last May. They presented options for us to consider and provided many things that we didnt expect but were happy to have. It is a first class operation that I will use again, should the need arise. We also used Swan-Law when my father passed away five years ago and it was because of their kindness and attentiveness that we came back.

My husband and I had a very positive experience as we set up our final plans. I especially enjoyed the fact that we were listened to and were not pressured to do anything beyond our comfort zone. Came for a service of a close friend. Was impressed by the locations cleanliness. What truly took me to write this was the front office receptionist. She was beyond kind and caring to all walking in the door, and fielded multiple families and coworkers all requesting something from her with kindness care and compassion. She made the process seem effortless. The older gentleman were very professional and helpful throughout services and showed the upmost care as well. I only give three stars because I did notice upon my leaving that the receptionist was not being treated well by a shorter older woman whom I assume works there. she was giving a lot of rude attitude to the young woman at your front desk to which I cannot imagine she was deserving of. If I still owned my business I would be offering that young woman a position to be the face of my company knowing she would be the make or break factor in repeat customers. Overall a good experience and Im sure I will be seeing more of Swan Law as my friends and family continue forth in age and health.

The staff at Swan Law were very competent and compassionate. After our meeting with Liz, we felt confident that everything would be taken care of, and it was. The video was beautifully done, and the brochures and booklets as well. We had an evening viewing and rosary at Swan Law, and the men attending to us were very patient and professional. The next day at the funeral the staff performed very well. I felt that they truly cared and respected our dad and our family. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the obituary running a day later than requested, but we were told that the Gazette accepted the blame and ran it the next day free of charge. Overall and under the circumstances, a very pleasant experience.

I didnt know what to expect when I put my trust into Swan-Law, but they were respectful, gracious and kind as they helped me and my family move through this very difficult time. When I asked about transferring my husbands body to West Point for his internment there, they took over and made sure they had contacted the funeral home there and made the trans-fer seamless. I am so grateful for their services at a time that so much was a blur around me.

Required documents for signature were not sent out in a timely manor. Little assistance offered in the number of original death certificates needed. Information not sent out in advance to assist in preparing for decisions needing to be made during the arrangement meeting. Representative appeared to be sensitive to the situation during my meeting with her, but she did not follow through well.

Chris is a kind, compassionate man who helped us in an unusual situation when my mom passed away but her paid burial agreement was in a different state. I cant thank Swan Law enough for their help and for leading us through this sad and difficult process.

She gave me assurance and comfort, even providing a contact for me to use to deliver the eulogy, when a family member was unable to attend due to illness. Every detail was handled from flowers to seating and I was able to focus on those who attended to remember the memory of my late Mother. I was very pleased with the funeral home myself. Our mother looked beautiful and the casket was beautiful. The funeral itself was beautiful!! However, the procession to the cemetery was not in anyway respectful or fitting for a funeral! We were very dissatisfied with the driver of the hearse in that he drove that hearse like it was a nascar race, not going down the back roads, instead using I-25 and although we didnt have a police escort, he took off before people had even got to their cars!! We had people from out of state that didnt know where to go for the interment! I rode with my husband, who was the Deacon of the mass and I had been told that the hearse would wait for the procession at the gate to the cemetery!! Forget that, he driver went into the cemetery first and was at the grave site and was calling for the pallbearers to get in place. Some of them hadnt arrived yet. What a mess!! This was ridiculous and very upsetting., -would be an understatement! We had been very pleased up until this point, but this was uncalled for and certainly not what we had been told! This was very disappointing and very rude to say the least!! I hope this is not the going to be tolerated by this company again.!!! That driver needs to be reprimanded and not allowed to do this to another family!!

I would give swan law infinite stars if I could. Ron Snell did an amazing job with my grandfathers funeral. Ron arranged everything with the US Air Force for my grandfathers military honors. He has gone out of his way to order a copy of the plaque that was on my grandfathers vault and he worked so hard to get my grandfathers funeral done in a short period of time. No wonder Swan Law has been around for so long.

I also addressed the situation with their corporate office in Texas, and refused to get any help from them as well. I KNOW if this has happened once, there are other families at risk for the same irresponsible and devastating actions of Swan Law Funeral Home in Colorado Springs. Please please reconsider doing any business with them.

This review is a little overdue, but words can never fully capture what it means to lose someone one loved, and certainly no amount of time will allow one to forget what they meant to him or her. I lost my father on January 8th, 2016, and Ron as Swan Law Funeral Home in Colorado Springs was wonderful during this difficult time. He not only provided comfort, but helped do everything in his power to ensure the process wasn’t too burdensome on our pocketbooks either. His help with obtaining the DD-214 my father needed to get military honors was instrumental and timely. His swift actions when I needed him are greatly appreciated for years to come. Going to a funeral home is not like going to the doctor, where you are nothing but a number and the level of care is insufficient. Going to a funeral home means this is a moment in one’s life they will carry forward with them until they pass on as well. A bad funeral director is far worse than a bad cashier—the impact is too great. Ron had stayed with us, even when we ultimately decided to transfer the body to Chapel of Memories for the cremation, and provided tremendous support. Whenever I reached out, he was quick to respond, and take swift action, even after hours. For instance, he even stayed after the funeral home at closed so that I could pick up the urn, which turned out exactly the way I wanted it. He once responded to a text message I had sent to him at 8:30p, and for this I cannot say how grateful I am for his help in such a turbulent time.I may be young, but if I were to pass too early, I would want Ron, and Swan Law, to take care of my family and ensure I receive the proper services needed to finalize the life I lived as well.Sincerely & For Liberty,Michael Mangin
