This Thanksgiving was the first major holiday my stepson spent away from home. He really wanted to come home, but just couldn’t make it. We made him a care package to cheer him up, but lo and behold, he was put on isolation after working with someone who was COVID positive. This meant that even if I mailed his box, he would not be able to retrieve it from his mailbox before Thanksgiving. I couldn’t let this happen! I called Gary, and explained the situation. This was challenging because our son is in isolation in the barracks on base. Not just anybody can get on base these days. The barracks doesnt have a normal address, hence the PO Box. FedEx and UPS could not get this done for all the money in the world. I didn’t even have a real address to give to Gary! I had to draw him a map! Gary, a veteran himself, took special care on this very unique request to personally deliver his box the night before Thanksgiving! I could not be more grateful! Thank you so much!

Called about having a downtown delivery made and getting one returned. Gary wanted me to make an appointment to deliver my documents to their office and another appointment to pick up the return. I thought they were supposed to save me the trip and come to me.
