Had my mother-in-laws computer repaired here. I was away at college when it was getting repaired. When I returned, the computer was in worse condition then when she brought it in. Studying computer science and having repaired numerous computers before, I got my toolkit out to see what was wrong. They broke two plastic pieces on the inside of the case including one on the hinge, didnt replace a screw, and broke plastic clips that held the screen together. When I took it back in, they said oh well we would never let an item leave our shop looking like this. I told them it did, they took a look at it again, then blamed it on cheep Chinese parts and said there was nothing they could do to fix it. What an excuse for a computer repair shop. Buddy, the main sales rep, is very non-committal and doesnt want to tell you the truth. Take your computer somewhere else or to a place where they will warranty their work (Geek Squad, any other authorized service shop, etc.). Another issue we got when the computer was returned upon completion of work was that the camera no longer worked. Buddy said it was a Windows issue. I installed new drivers, and went through everything that could be the issue within the operating system, firmware, etc. Had the error code read by an IT tech at my company and he said that the error generally means the camera module itself has a damaged cable or damaged solder on the board. If I wasnt at college, I would have just fixed this computer myself and never had any of these issues. Please never use this business or give them the benefit of the doubt. Reviews from 4 years ago say the same thing and the reviews are every bit as relevant now as they were then.

He was able to diagnose my power supply within a few minutes and sell me a new one at a reasonable price. I will say I have been building my own computers since about 1995, I wasnt looking for computer repair I needed some help with a part that I could not diagnose at home. I did stop at another place not far away that also sells computer parts that could not help me.

Im writing this review as an IT professional. Today, I took apart a co-workers friends laptop as she was having issues with it. She took it to Aplus a while back and got some work done on it. After inspecting the inside of the laptop. I was very surprised to see how bad the work was and that there were missing screws inside. I half assumed this place was no longer in business but I guess im wrong. I just hope whomever worked on this laptop is no longer employed at this company

I have had great experiences with A Plus computers. Always professional and fixed my problems that I was afraid to fix myself. I have mainly dealt with Luis and he is very helpful. Love their new location, as it is very close to my home. Ill definitely be going back.

My computer crashed and gave me the blue screen of death. Buddy was recommended to me by a friend. He recovered all my data and replaced my drive with a solid state drive for a very reasonable price. I will be using him more for my computer needs and referring him to my friends and family.

I would give a zero stars if it was an option. I will never return to this guys business again, he was the most unprofessional and aggravating person Ive ever dealt with. I took my PC in to have a tune up done but when I got it back *ALL* of my personal things were deleted. All of my music, all of my pictures everything, gone. I took it back and all he could do was repeat I didnt delete anything. Then he ran a program called undelete (right in front of me) and found almost all of it! Then refused to restore it to my computer and instead told me to go home and do it myself! Needless to say I lost my temper in this mans store.I had looked up reviews of his store before going, I noticed ONE and it was just as bad as mine but I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. Dont make the same mistake I did and find someone besides this guy.

I took my computer for free check up, not so free, he charged for it.He advised more RAM, I okd, he installed and my Windows crashed. He blamed my computer. After reinstalling windows, which meant I had to reinstall all my other software, computer kept having IE closings and Windows crashes. Took it to a competent shop, they found quickly that the RAM he installed was defective. I offered Buddy the chance to take it back and refund what he had charged for the RAM, I didnt even mention labor. Buddy just got defensive and said it wasnt even his. You dont deal with people like him, you just leave.Use this shop at your own risk.
