Rob came to give me an estimate on some inactive mold removal at our house after getting an astronomical estimate from another company. It was the other companies minimum charge. Rob did everything for much much less and did it very well! I will recommend him to anyone that needs a mold inspection and removal!

I called a few places my insurance company recommended for a water damage inspection due to a broken water heater. 1-800 Water Damage offered a free estimate and came out same day. I was very impressed with the quick, courteous, informative and professional response from Katie and Max. I ultimately didn’t have enough damage to warrant an insurance claim but if I ever need restoration services I would call here again. I let my insurance agent know this was a great referral for other homeowners in need.

My husband and I returned to our home in Colorado Springs after an absence. The water lines had ruptured, with extensive flooding on the lower level of our home. We had a pipe leak on the first floor of our house and the water went from there down to our basement. Big Mess!! This was on a Sunday evening and 1 800 Water Damage was wonderful. Mike and his crew came out that evening and started the mitigation and explained to us what all the next steps would be. They handled the mitigation and then Mike organized all the necessary restoration personnel and dealt with the insurance company. They did a fantastic job and are great people to work with. I highly recommend them.

I had a ton of water in my crawl space (clean space, so it wouldnt drain). It was practically a swimming pool. They came out quickly, were able to accommodate with the equipment...they couldnt bring it down the stairs, because they were damaged and couldnt hold the weight. They got all the water out and the space dried, so there is no moldy smell. I would definitely use them again.

Katie came out promptly and was super helpful! I was worried that there were some serious mold issues in my basement bathroom and that it would cost me big time. But she came out and told me that there was nothing to worry about and gave me a few options for taking care of surface mold. She didnt even charge me and was extremely professional and knowledgable!Plus I got stung by a wasp as I was about to meet her in my driveway, so she saw me in some real agony. So I think were best friends now.

When we discovered that we had a leak in our basement ceiling, Michael came out and was immediately able to pinpoint the cause. Michael used equipment that was able to show the areas that had water penetration without damaging our flooring or walls. He clearly let us know when hebwould be at our home, and quickly responded to any phone calls to him that we made. He did the initial valuation, and then set up a day and time for the work to begin promptly and clearlyKatie and JD contacted us before arriving at our home the first time, and were there right at the time they had promised to be there. They were professional but also friendly, ready to answer questions and make suggestions when we requested them. They did thorough and excellent work, and were neat and clean in the process.Anyone who has had damage done to their home, usually are upset and unsure on how to make things right. The OTHER, well known company was NOT thorough, explained very little, and were in and out of her house in just a couple days. Prompt response saved the sale of my house. Just before closing the first blizzard hit and snow was blown into my attic. The snow melted and soaked into the drywall. 1-800 Water Damage was able to dry out the insulation and drywall within a week after being called. Thank You

Even when i was worried about my 2 and 4 year old kids getting sick they reassured me over and over again that they were safe. Told me everything that they did and what was next. Very well done work.

I would not recommend this company. The owners daughter Katie (the project manager) came out on Friday, assessed the damage and gave us a quote. We accepted and filed a claim with our insurance for them to do the work . We decided to wait until Monday because there would be additional costs as the weekend is considered after hours. She gave me the work order and said I could sign it and leave it on the counter and that I didnt need to be there when they came to do the work as long as it was signed and I had a claim number. She said well see you Monday and left. I took Monday off. By 1:00 no call no show so I called her and got a voicemail. I left a message and she called back about an hour later saying We got slammed yesterday. I dont know if you heard about the hail in the Broadmoor area but weve been here all day, were going to be here all day. Well probably be there tomorrow. Give me a call and well figure something out. So evidently hail damage in the Broadmoor area took precedence over our water damage that occurred prior. I didnt call her back and I havent heard back from her.She did call me once but didnt leave a voicemail. Needless to say we hired someone else. Poor customer service from the start.

Since this was our first experience with any water damage, we were very happy to have someone take time to explain what to expect from the mitigation to complete recovery, repair, and restoration. The floors throughout our house took a beating from traffic and equipment by all of the subcontractors, but I guess thats just how things are done these days. A conflict on billing was resolved with just one phone call. I think they really care.

They were complete and thorough in the restoration of the water damage. They worked methodically through the process. They didnt rush. They made sure everything was clean and dry before the final restoration was done.

1800 water damage came to our rescue when we had a big sewer backup into our basement laundry room/storage room. They came out first thing in the morning and cleaned up everything. I was embarrassed by all the gunk and wanted to clean before they came out, but they said no they had machines to take care of that problem. They threw away what was not salvageable and disinfected the rest.Katie was very helpful and called often to see where we stood as other problems needed to be addressed. We were very satisfied with this company and would recommend them highly

A garbage disposal leak uncovered what couldve potentially been a serious water damage issue in my recently purchased home - thankfully Mike from 1800 water damage got to my home within an hour of my initial call, explained what needed to happen, & then the very next morning came out & inspected all the potentially damaged areas. Thankfully everything received a clean bill of health, however in the process he uncovered a few other minor leaks that, fixing now, will save me a bundle later. His team also includes a drywaller, so the small holes that were cut to inspect will be fixed without me having to find someone else. I would recommend their services to anyone!
