We hired Bordner to reface our kitchen cabinets. Everyone from Caleb and Aaron the sales representatives, to Chris who did the re-measurements to Jacob who did the install were prompt, personable and very professional. The company was very good about keeping us updated on the estimated dates for the arrival of our materials; scheduling us an appointment for installation and letting us know when to expect Jacob each day. A special shout out to Jacob who had to adjust the installation process to accommodate our older home. He was smart and creative in finding ways to make the kitchen look like new! We highly recommend Bordner!

I was looking for a company to help finish a bathroom remodel Ive been working on. I submitted an online form with a few companies, not expecting to get a very quick response. However, within 5 minutes of submitting my request, I was speaking with someone from Bordner and scheduling a time for them to come out and provide an estimate.The estimate process went great. They listened to what we wanted done with our tub/shower, and created a 3D rendering so we could see what the end product would look like.The install process was also quick & well done! We were given an estimate of roughly 3 days to remove the old tub, redo the flooring underneath, put the new one in & set up the shower. The total time ended up taking about 2 days, and a little finishing/cleanup on the 3rd.Overall we are very happy with our new bathroom & our experience working with Bordner. I would highly recommend them to anyone whos looking for a company to handle a bathroom remodel!

After doing research on several different options for our master bathroom tub to shower conversion, we decided to go with Bordner Home Improvement. Like anybody when it comes to doing projects like this we were concerned with problems arising adding to the costs. Bordner was clear and concise with information and pricing. Rob was our technician performing the install and while there was issues that presented themselves, he just addressed them as they came up, and moved on without phone calls about how it was going to be more expensive. We appreciated this. We financed our project and we were approved for much more then the cost of our project. Ive been around long enough to know that sometimes companies in renovation, remodel, even automotive will take that opportunity to increase the ticket price. Bordner never asked us for another cent over what we discussed the first day before beginning any work. Thats a big deal to me. Final product is beautiful and my wife absolutely loves it and thats even a bigger deal to me. Thank you Bordner and staff for your integrity and quality of work. Youve created a couple more happy customers and we will be recommending you and likely seeing you again in the future for other projects!

We signed our contract for a bathroom remodel on April 5th, 2021 and were told by our salesman that it would be about two months before the project was completed. At the time we paid half of the cost of the remodel up front which I felt was reasonable.Four months later, on August 17th, 2021 the remodel finally started. Three days later with the remodel 90% complete it was brought to our attention that the glass that was ordered was the incorrect size and would have to be reordered. Despite the project being unfinished we were asked to pay the remaining balance on our remodel.Fast forward another month to September 24th, 2021 and we have been told there is no estimated ship date on the glass and that it is likely back-ordered.Weve been left with a partially completed project, out the full cost of the remodel, and the company is unable to provide us any update on when the project will be completed. I understand there is a nationwide glass shortage but you would think if a company screws up theyd do everything they can to make the situation right. Its clear all Bordner cares about is getting paid. Theres no sense of urgency from this company and I caution anyone looking to use their services to exercise extreme caution.Hopefully this headache will be resolved soon and we can move on with a finished remodel. We will never use this company again nor will we ever recommend them to friends or family.Edit: It has been brought to our attention by Pikes Peak Regional Building Department that their construction license was administratively revoked.

I am not one of the 88,000 satisfied customers widely advertised on commercials! I got only three calls of the numerous messages I left for anyone in management or even owner. NO such luck. 1 call for second measurements, 1 from production 11 weeks later to set up appointment and 1 from finance department to confirm I released balance of funds. Id definitely shop around, carefully!

Did a wonderful job installing a walk in tub. Quality and workmanship was excellent and done in a timely manner. Told could take up to 3 days to complete but was all done in about a day and a half. The work was checked for any water leaks before they left. The tub has a lifetime warranty and if any problems arise we can contact Bordner and issue will be dealt with. Looking forward to enjoying for many years to come. Kudo’s out to Bordner in Colorado Springs Co. and the installers!

I converted my tub/shower to just a shower.This company is a great company. From Raymond the design consultant to Chris project manager and Bobby who installed my shower was very professional and polite.Bobby was very personable. Great customer service. He explained everything he was going to do his work was purely perfection. He didnt rush he did it right and he worked very hard on my shower.I highly recommend this company.I love my shower.

(THIS IS AN UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW) The initial consultation and installation in April 2021 went very smooth. However the installers did crack and break the marble in my kitchen and master bathroom windows and they put large holes in the other two bedrooms. I was promised the marble would be replaced, it was replaced with wood and the holes were patched up. My living room window did not get the screens installed because they were bent, the installer told me it would be about two weeks before I get the new screens. After the install the windows looked great, but the window in my second bedroom had a large crack in it. I reached out to my sells rep and project manager asking to have the window replaced, I was out off again and again until I had to literally harass the company to provide the new material. Finally July 12, 2021, after I’ve been asking since April, Bordner came to replace my window, and the only replaced one screen when I told them both needed to be replaced. I never received a confirmation for a date and time and had to leave work without notice. And Bordner never offered me at least a discount.

We have a rental property in need of a bath remodel, we inconvenienced the renters in order have the salesperson see the bathroom and help us with choices/finishes - our salesperson was efficient, knowledgable, helpful and punctual.We signed the contract and Bordner contacted us for a measure date. We inconvenienced our renters once again so that measurements could be taken - the guy sent to measure went to the wrong address across town and instead of hightailing it to the right address rescheduled through the office for the following day. I confirmed with the office in order to not inconvenience the renters again and my appointment day and time were confirmed. I confirmed with my renters only to have the office call and say the measurement guy was sick.Who has only one guy to take measurements in a remodeling company? I pitched a fit and they agreed to send a guy to the right address, confirmed with the office, at 2:00. At 2:15 I get a call from the measurement guy that he is standing on the porch at my residence, not my rental property to take measurements - same mistake, day two! My renters are waiting again for a no show or late appointment - hoping for at least a late appointment so that we can get this show on the road!We havent even started the remodel yet and Im hoping this is only a glitch and not a shining example of complete ineptitude!Perhaps the office staff should program appointment times and GPS coordinates into the measurement guys phones before they leave for the day!

The initial sales appointment went great. He was nice, informative and guaranteed that the installation would be done in house by Bordner. The installation appointment was set for 12/19/19. I received a call early in the month letting me know that they could come in on 12/13/19. I thought wonderful, I will have our windows and doors in by the holidays. The installation was started on 12/13 and has yet to be finished. My family spent the holidays freezing with cold air coming in through all of the unfinished windows and doors. Also, I was told the installation would be quick and professional and that there would be plastic put down on all the flooring. That was not the case. Three men came in and out of my house with their work boots and left my home a mess. This is unacceptable and I would have spent my $17,000 somewhere else if I knew this was the type of service Bordner provided. Extremely unhappy and wouldnt recommend. (If Bordner wants to respond, the name on the account would be Lenore, not Stephanie. I know that companies like to use the excuse of not finding your name in our system.)

We had a tub/shower done, took 2.5 days. Everyone I have worked with within this company to complete this job has been very knowledgeable, professional and fantastic. We had Raymond as our sales person and he took all the time I needed to look at sampes, answer all my questions and never made me feel rushed. Raymond is the reason I went with Bordner. We had Chris as our project manager come out to measure and he took time to answer all the new questions I had come up with. On installation day we had Bobby and the plumber Nick. Both were excellent, they worked together very well on day one. Bobby was here for the next 1.5 days and he did such a great job on the shower/tub! Pictures do not do his job justice. After seeing his work, all my worries about a project this big were gone, I knew I picked the right company! Thank you all!

We previous used Bordner and the experience was okay so we thought we would try them again. What a horrible experience this was and would not recommend them. We had so many issues and not sure where to begin. They had to retake measurements twice and then they decreased the dimensions so much that the windows were really small in the openings and their answer was to use a lot of caulk to fill the gap on the interior. For the exterior they put horrible looking flashing around the windows to make up for the gaps with so much caulk on them that they constantly look dirty. So we now have the ugliest windows in our neighborhood!

I am very pleased with my new shower. Its like a new spa! Gabe and Bob did a great job!

Rob was the contractor who did our bathroom project. He was very good at communicating with us. He does amazing work. Our bathroom looks like one from a magazine picture. He transformed our bathroom from the 1980’s look to a modern day luxury bath. We would gladly recommend him to anyone. We plan to use Bordner Home Improvement again for future projects.

Bobby removed all material surrounding bath tub, then removed bath tub and Ken changed shower valve and shower head. after shower pan was installed head hooked up new drain.A very good experience using Bordner Home Imp. When mat. arrived at their warehouse and it was not in perfect condition they didnt use it.Bobby was the installer and did an excellent job. He was very particular about how things were installed land finished. Great job of caulking and installing the fixtures.

Our fiberglass window replacements are great quality windows. Were glad we chose them. We had other companies estimate our job but chose Bordner because of the quality of windows, the price, and the way we were treated. I dreaded our installation but it was nothing to dread. Caleb Mandry is a great salesman and was definitely able to explain everything, in detail, that we were getting. We are happy with the product they are providing and with the look we will be getting for our new bathroom.

We needed to replace a walk-in shower in the master bathroom. After exploring several options, we decided to go with Bordner (one of the higher bids) because of the treated materials, and the confidence the salesman inspired. Halfway through the job, there was a change in the personnel who were working on our house, reasons unknown. When the job was complete, we were not satisfied with the product or craftsmanship given the amount of money we were paying. I called Bordner to let them know, and first thing the very next morning, the owner (Jerry) came to our house to see the job. Jerry was very attentive, agreed with our assessment, and promised to make it right. Jerry had his crew tear it all out and start over. Once again, the job is done and we couldnt be happier, they did a great job. Ive always believed that everybody makes mistakes, but its what you do about it afterwards that makes the difference. I have to say that Jerry is a very good businessman, honest and ethical, and trustworthy to make good on his promises. He also has great people working for him. Beth took over as the project coordinator and she made all the difference, ensuring communications were efficient and accurate. Brett truly is a master installer and he did a tremendous job for us. We are grateful to Jerry and his staff at Bordner.

Lisa V. came to our home to show us samples for renovating our bathroom. She showed us a variety of samples and gave us an estimate. Lisa was very professional, prepared, on time, and answered most of our questions. We ultimately decided to go with another company, but would recommend you take a look at what Border has to offer.

Ive had a couple of different companies come out and give bids for new windows. Previous companies have been rude, pushy and insulting in some cases, but not Bordner. The rep Lisa that came to give me my quote was a delight to speak with! She was informative, polite and not at all pushy! I havent had them install my windows, but once we are at that point, they will be the company we call to do the work.

First, I want to share that Chris our installer did an amazing job! He was prompt, efficient, kind, and an expert. However, we have had several problems with our contract. Our sales rep made several mistakes so we are on our third contract. After giving this company thousands of dollars we are still waiting for a soap dish. It was left off of the second contract and then ordered wrong on the third contract. Here we are 2 months later without it. They said they would over night it but then found out it would be too expensive so we’re probably going to have to wait for another month. Overall, the installer was amazing but I don’t recommend the sales rep Rebecca or the scheduler Elizabeth. Poor customer service.

Just had 8 Windows and a Slider door installed. Our installers came in and worked through 20 degree weather to get the job done within two days. They worked really hard and did a great job. WIth everything going on lately I was surprised they were able to make it at all. Thanks to Marcus.

Phenomenal installers. They luxury bath shower we had installed is awesome and we love it. Brendan Conner did an amazing job with some huge surprises after tear out. The previous owners had a 3 inch difference so the hole our old shower was in was not even a little square. He did some impressive work making the install square and it looks awesome. He kept us informed along the whole project and we are extremely satsified with the quality of work in our new shower.

Awful experience! I would never recommend this company to anyone! It took 4 months for them to fix my leaking shower pan. The owner himself came out and called me a lier about the leak. Then after seeing it himself, he backpedaled saying they have known issues with these pans right after telling me there was no way I could be having these issues. The owner told me they do not support any work they subcontract out, and thats the majority of the work they did. These people are extremely unprofessional! The person originally helping me with my project was fired in the middle of it and no one followed up. I asked why this wasnt followed up on as I had an active leak in my house and I was told its not their responsibility to let customers know the project manager was fired in the middle of the project. Worst experience in my life! I will never use them for any further remodels. Highly advise anyone thinking of using these people to stay far away!

Requested a quote from Bordner. Got a call back really quick to schedule an appointment for the next day! This was awesome. Next day, I get a call 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment, and I am told the guy had the wrong address and was in Aurora (far away from me), and wouldnt be able to make it on time.I said it was no problem. He asked if he could just email me some of the design materials for the door instead of driving up to Westminster. I said that was fine with me. However, he never did send me the design materials and I havent received an email yet.I changed contractors and have taken my business elsewhere.UPDATE- got a call from the company. Looks like he did try to email me but had the wrong email address (Typo) So I added another star for effort, however I have changed contractors and will not be receiving services from this company. Seems unorganized.

They are a rip-off company. They charged me over a $1,000 for a screen door that rolls to the side. Should have been no more than $400! The screen was so loose that mice would get in. Had to put a regular door in and I did not call them to do it!

Installers were great to work with. They were friendly and professional. Cleaned up after themselves and made repairs in a timely manner. I would recommend this company to anyone. It was a great experience from start to finish.

Bordner replaced 2 showers and all the windows in my parents home. They were able to work around scheduling needs where my parents were unable to live without a completed bathroom. The new windows that were quickly installed is keeping the summer heat out of my parents house which is a big deal since they do not have air conditioning. The basement shower had suffered from termite damage and had felt very closed off and dingy. With the remodel they removed the wall opening the basement bathroom and providing more light with a new window that was installed. The materials installed will go a long way to ensuring that my parents will not have to arduously clean the basement bathroom. The upstairs bathroom which also has a wonderful new frosted window is bright and shiny. They converted the tub shower to a shower which stands out and is more useful for my parents as they get older. Thank you Bordner for helping my parents with their bathroom remodel and window replacements.

We recently had Bordner remodel our bathroom and replace 3 windows in our mountain home. We give them 5 stars because of the crew they sent out. Justin and Johnny were great. They were friendly, courteous and professional. They seemed to genuinely care about the project and how it would come out. Although there seemed to be some concerns at the upper ranks of their company as to the assets they needed to complete the job these two were always positive and on track. This portion of the project is done, we are only waiting for the next phase of finishing, Justin and Johnny are done. Thank you guys for doing a great job and seeing it through. What an incredible experience! This was my first time for a bath remodel and I thought it was going to be an intimidating experience. Instead, everyone from the sales rep to the store manager to the installers were professional, helpful and very knowledgeable, making this experience and decision a solid choice! I value their appreciation to service members. Bordner Home Improvement will be the only company I will use on future projects.

We wanted to replace a tub/shower with a walk in shower. The Bordner folks were very professional throughout the process. Chris, the installer, was very good working through a couple of rough spots. He was effective at keeping the inevitable dust to a minimum. We appreciated his efforts.

Your company is supposed to be family owned and operated which is one of the reasons I trusted the project to you. The sales person, Dwayne Hayden, pitched a good line. We were told we would have in house professional plumbers and we were promised copper installation. Instead the plumbers wanted to use shark bites on the installation. We were also told they would take care of all mold. They stated they had a process to remove mold that would never return. When asking installers about this process they laughed. The installation of the product is far from superior which is what we were sold on. We tried contacting the salesman several times prior to (as I had questions needing answered prior to the installation) and during installation (as we had issues) with no return calls. Spoke with Jeff Reed and installer on the day of installation about the questions I had as far as moving on with my part of the project so they could do what they needed to get the enclosure installed. The shower door is not properly installed. It does not open wide enough to walk straight in. Fit up on the shower installation and caulking is less than mediocre. I have no clue what it actually cost to install a shower, but for $13,383 on a 38x50 shower enclosure, with us doing the tear out, you would think everything would be perfect. We were also told it would be 0% interest for 18 months which is another reason we chose this company. Upon completion, the finance company called and we were informed it would be 6.99% interest. Dwayne Hayden was involved in a three way conversation with the financial company and stated thats not what he said. He claims he was trying to get the payment lower for us and that was the 6.99%. I do business out of trust and respect and I trusted and respected that I was going to get a professional job which I feel for the project cost I over paid for what I received. I was told this work has a lifetime warranty, but Im starting to highly doubt that. We have never received a copy of the installation agreement or any of the financial in formation as discussed in Nov 2018. Our sales representative Dwayne promised to get that to us asap and as of yet we have never received anything. I dont feel confident about the product I was sold, like is it really as good as Dwayne claimed in the presentation I was shown. I had plans to use this company to remodel my other bathroom but based on this experience it is highly unlikely that I will use this company again and definitely will not recommend this company to anyone.

He definitely went above and beyond for us a couple of times. Angela, the project coordinator, was also extremely helpful and prompt in returning my calls. She also went out of her way several times to make sure we had everything we needed. The work crews completed all jobs in a timely and professional manner. We will definitely be returning to Bordner for our home improvement and repair needs.

We were very pleased with Bordner for our recent windows purchase. Jake (sales person) was so awesome in answering our many questions and was able to give us a great education in Windows. The installation team was so professional and courteous beyond what I ever expected. My entire experience with this company was amazing. And I LOVE my windows. My house is finally warm again!

We are almost 100% satisfied with the entire project. One issue, the shower bench was not ordered and was not put in as of now. Still waiting. It was part of contract and total amount which I have paid.Justin, Johnny, and Jeff was very polite, friendly, and professional. Justin continued to update me on the project , especially about the bench.Once the bench is installed I could rate you higher. I will refer Bordner to others. Very nice job and shower!

Very pleased with Bordner from first contact. Good communications from the start. We were very pleased with Adam, the bath designer that showed us our options for our bathroom repairs. The installer, Matt, was awesome. He was right on time and did excellent work; very professional in every aspect. He was very considerate of our home. He placed drop clothes wherever he was walking and cleaned up everything when he was finished. He even use a leaf blower to clean the sawdust from the driveway and the grass! I would highly recommend Bordner and will be using them again in the future.

Christopher the person that did the work of installing our new shower and side panels did a great job. Cleaned up each night and when he was finished with the job he left things clean and orderly. We like our new shower very much and the shower now looks looks like it belongs in a high end home.Getting a hold of people other than the receptionist that answers the phone at the local Colorado Springs Bordner office is quite difficult. Takes multiple calls to get a response back for them.

This company was recommended by a friend. We were pleased with the time they spent explaining our options and their selection of products. The work was done quickly and neatly. Other workers that we had for other things were impressed by the finished product.

My experience with Bordner started at a craft fair at the Elks lodge in Colorado Springs. I set up a time to have a representative to come to my home and give me an idea of what it would cost to put in a walk in shower. That is when I meet Dylan he did an excellent job presenting the products. I had a lot of questions and needed time to think about the remodel and not once did anyone pressure me into making a decision. On the day of the install I meet Justin; I can’t say enough good things about him. He explained to me what the process was and took the time to ask me If I had any questions for him, He was very professional and I could tell he takes pride in his work and that made me feel I had the right guy for the project. He did a fantastic install; I still can’t believe how beautiful my new shower is. If you are thinking of doing a bathroom remodel and have the option I would request Justin you won’t be disappointed. He respected my home and cleaned up his mess each of the three days he was here. I highly recommend Bordner

Best shower since I moved to Colorado 18 months ago.A useless to me soaking tub was replaced with a beautiful walk in shower.Product is good looking and appears easy to maintain. Technicians Gabriel, Christina and Dan outstanding. Good, frequent communication with all involved, from sales & office to project managers and installation artisans.

Bordner did a great job installing a replacement wood trimmed window for us. They spent extra time getting the stain to match the other window in the room. Their attention to detail was obvious and much appreciated. Thanks to Jake and Joel for working so hard on this and checking up on the project. The installers did a great job, were very friendly and cleaned up the work area nicely!

Our shower installation was done beautifully. From non existant to a gorgeous masterpiece. We cant thank our installers enough. They came in, got down to business, and once finished left everything spotless without a trace of them ever being there. A huge thanks to Ron, our main installer. Chris was just as great. These guys are outstanding and very knowledgeable making the process even better. We love our new shower!!!!

The process of dealing with Bordner was fantastic. The sales rep was very informative and helpful in selecting the product I needed. They followed up a couple of times to make sure I knew the status of the materials ordered for the job and the installation crew was awesome. They showed up when they said they would, were very respectful of my home and went above and beyond to make sure things were protected. Id hire them again!

Very happy with the finished job.Jeremy spent a day and a half installing a shower for me. He was professional, knowledgeable and took great care to do everything perfectly. The end result looks way better than I expected. We had the material with grout lines machined in. It is worth the extra. Looks amazing.

Met with Bordner originally at the local home show. Expressed interest in replacing windows that were cracked and potentially other home improvement projects (bathroom and back deck). They originally came out to look at replacing the broken window we have in our living room but since only my wife was home they wanted to reschedule so “we were both home”. All I wanted was a simple quote, didn’t need a long presentation. They were asking for 60-90 minutes which was ridiculous for only needing a window replaced. I said they could have 30 minutes which should be plenty to measure a single window and give us a quote. They rescheduled for a few days later but then later texted today to say “the owner feels like they would not be able to run the free quote because of the length of time”. I feel like I was lied to at the home show and the company missed out on additional work at our house based on this terrible experience.

Looks good and team was professional. Company change was odd. They no longer provided the full bathroom remodel. Honored our contract, but didnt mention the change. Sorry to hear they dont seem to want the entire job, rather scope the work to the shower.

Bordner was very easy to wok with. Jake came out and spent time explaining everything. Then he came back to sign the papers, and we live far from their office. They later told us that Jeremy Webb was doing the work and we were thrilled because he built our garage. We got gutters and downspouts on it and a new roof on the shed that holds all our solar equipment. Jeremy is tops, he is a truly excellent roofer and carpenter. Thank you everyone.

Jeff replaced my tub and shower. Very happy with his attention to detail and keeping me informed on the job progress. Love the way it looks now. Highly recommend this company.

First and for most the 2 workers who came and did my bathroom shower drew and Christopher were AMAZING and hilarious. We had a blizzard and it set back scheduling and they still worked for more than 10 hours a day and took their weekend up for me. They work together so well Noone over powered the other. They answered all my questions truthfully and honestly knowing how nervous I was for the install! They went above and beyond and to me that makes a great asset these two DREW and CHRISTOPHER need a performance bonus immediately!!!!!!! I cant wait to use my bathroom in the hours they told me to wait;)

Installer, Brett, was totally professional in representing Bordner. He worked hard, quick and was outstanding in ability. The project appears extremely attractive and high quality.

The product is awesome, looks fantastic and cleans easily. I love that is mold & mildew resistant. Brett did a super installation job, very knowledgeable and friendly. He was tidy and timely. I would recommend this company to everyone that is looking to do their bathroom.

We were very pleased with Gabe and Tim. They called when they were coming, worked continuously while at our house. They were courteous and polite.
