Just had my first haircut by Monica. Very pleased!!! My barber retired last month. He is 80+ years old and is the only barber that EVER cut my hair.... I am 68 years old. I told Monica she has a steady new customer. I miss visiting with my old barber and good friend but I am glad I found Monica. Without hesitation, I highly recommend her.

The woman who runs this place is very nice. I think the price reflects the skill level though. This is definitely not a place to get lined up, fades, or anything other than a Senior Citizens Haircut.

The owner/ barber does a great job every time. Low price, quick but not rushed service, and a symmetrical fade.

She did a good job on the medium fade, met army regulation without having to describe it, and it didnt take all day. About the same price as on base. Clippers definitely need to be sharpened or replaced though, it was a little rough. Plants were a nice touch for an otherwise bare and run-down building.

Ive been going to Monica to get my hair cut for close to 20 years. She does a very good job, and you really cant beat the price. Over the last few years Ive tried some of the more expensive barber shops, because I thought Id get a better cut if I spent more, but ended up spending a lot of money for some really bad cuts. Consistent and inexpensive. Really difficult to beat!

I have been coming to this barber shop for a number of years and the lady there does a fantastic job on my hair. I cant say that for anyone else but just myself. I just got a haircut today and she did such a fantastic job I had to leave a review.

I was first introduced to this place via my dad, its usually one person working here, the owner Monica. Shes been here for 20 years. She is very quick and you hair looks great at the end of your session. There are plenty of chairs, can comfortably fit about 20 people sitting waiting in line for a cut. She usually takes about fifteen minutes per cut. Ive walked into her shop when there are lots of people there and happily wait my turn, because Ive come to find out your turn will come up quicker than youd expect. In the middle of the week Ive walked in to find Im either the only one there or the 2nd person there.The shop itself is clean, she uses a vacuum shaver so not a buildup of hair on the floor. There are chairs lined up against the wall, there are magazines available to help you pass the time if your in a line. Parking is free. Part of the Dublin Heights SW. There are other barber chairs there, but Ive yet to see other barbers working here. The prices Ive paid are usually either 10 or 14 dollars, depending on my hair length at the time of my visit and how much shorter I need it.

Dont even bother coming here.Worst haircut ever. Used a clipper connected to a vacuum.Will not even up with scissors.

If you’re a guy and you want a simple (#2 faded and trimmed on the top), fast and affordable haircut this place is the best! I’m in and out in five minutes and have a good haircut for $10 plus tip. If you like waiting for a half hour before your haircut while you dink on your phone and sip your “free” craft beer only to then have your barber/stylist talk your ear off the whole time, this is not the place for you. It’s a little run down inside but who cares...you’re getting a haircut. Monica is nice and pleasant but pretty much doesn’t say anything while she cuts your hair. I highly recommend for the busy guy that just wants a haircut.

My husband and I have been getting our haircuts here for at least 15 years.. Our daughter is now a new customer. Monica is fast, and prices are wonderful. Monica is welcoming and has so many regular clientele. We are more that happy and pleased with this shop 😀

These few people on the reviews crying should go over pay somewhere more fashioned for them. The lady goes out of her way to get to everyone and charges practically nothing. This place is not a red carpet fashion boutique. If inexpensive and expedited are what you are seeking, like me, she is great! Yuppies look down your noses elsewhere where your type of opinion is even valued. Have you ever ate great Chinese food where they also live and speak like they are in China? Well then familiarize yourself with the strange culture instead of whining about it. I dont care for it but she provides what others do not. Hair cut was absolutely fine. Great even considering she charges next to nothing.

Great, she cuts me and sons hair and does a good job. This is the only place I go. Only thing I dislike is cash only but you go the first time and find out its no big deal. I recommend this place.

I took my son here for the very first time, to get his haircut . She charged me quite a bit more than I was expecting for just a boys haircut. She tried to say his hair was very long, which it really wasnt oh, and it took her literally three minutes to do the haircut period she could have told me before she cut his hair that it was going to be more, but she waited till after the job was already done . I would have been okay with that if she would have done a decent job, but the haircut was horrible lopsided and just didnt look well at all . I believe she was the owner. I will never go back again.

My haircut is the way I ask Everytime. The price is fair and its quick. I have been going here for years. If you dont like the hassle of the overflowing expensive other corporate owned businesses, this might be a good choice for you!

This place is wild. Older woman cut my hair and i was in and out in 5 min. She had a freaking vaccum cleaner hooked up to some clippers! I walked in she told me to sit i gave her like a 30 second rundown of what i wanted and she just started getting after it. I was pretty nervous she was gunna mess it up but i mean after like 5 min she holds a mirror up and said good? And it was. she got done what i needed but man that was an experience at a barber shop Ive never had. Id probably go back but man WILD.

I went here the first time 15 min before close. The owner hastily cut and butchered my son and my hair. I thought maybe this happened because it was close to closing and gave her another shot. The second time I asked for a fade for both my son and myself. Once again she hastily cut our hair and just shaved our heads and never faded it. Horrible Barber, Not even worth the $10 and your time. Theres a better Barber off of Powers and Stetson hills next to the liquor store that does true fades for $11 , never been disappointed there.

Shes cut my hair at least 8-10 times over the last 3 years and I have always been very pleased with the work she does. If your ego and vanity will suffer a $7.00 haircut, this is the place to go and I highly recommend it.

My son and I both get our hair cut here for the last 2 years. We both have short hair. We use 2 on the sides and 3 or on top. After yesterday, we are no longer going. She usually charges my son $10 and me $7. I dont know why as we both have very short military style cuts and we always go together. I dont care as we always pay $20 to include tip so if she bills us at $10 each, like she did yesterday its still $20. My complaint is not about the price as it is still cheap at $10. Yesterday as she started cutting my hair she received a phone call, left me and spoke to someone in her native language (Chinese or something) on the phone for about 10-15 minutes. I wanted to leave but I was halfway cut so I stayed and waited. Then she came back, did not say excuse me or sorry or whatever and just kept cutting, phone rang again and she stopped again about 5 minuted later started cutting while taking still using one hand for the phone and one hand to cut. Needless to say, it was a horrible cut. A little courtesy would have been nice. Very frustrated customer, wont be coming back.
