Someone had cut my catalytic converter off of my truck; while it was parked in the Fountain, CO Lowes parking lot. Im not mechanically inclined, So made an appointment to take my truck in for repair. Auto Tech checked it out and gave us an estimate. They were very professional and reasonable. In fact, their final charge was way below the Estimate. This will be our auto repair place from now on!!!

This place was recommended to me (I just went to the wrong location), but they were so friendly, honest, and efficient. I got a full synthetic oil change + cabin filter replacement. They even did a bunch of extras (which they include in their service) and checked my vehicle thoroughly for potential issues without being pushy about getting it done right away. I am still surprised they also washed my car. I highly recommend this location!

I used Auto Tech Plaza to have my granddaughters Ford Focus serviced. I was very happy I chose Auto Tech Plaza in Security, Colorado. Robert was the person who made my appointment and everything went smooth as glass when I arrived. I found him to be very friendly, honest and very respectful. I will be using this company more in the future because of the way I was treated by Robert and the excellent job the techs did on the vehicle. Everything was explained to me and a few things we noted on the vehicle that needs attention in the future. There is absolutely no pressure with this company for extra work and you will never find a better service advisor than Robert. He won me over as a new customer. Thank you Robert! I really appreciated the fair prices that this company charges.

Bought a Groupon for $47 normally $63, redeemed it the same day I was charged for 3 quarts more than what the Groupon covered, and those 3 quarts I’m told cost me a $54. That’s more than the Groupon and a total combined more than what they advertise their normal priced oil change for synthetic. Total scam Wayover charged and when I called I was told it’s $11 per quart which would equal $33 leaving almost $21 in tax. First time at this place lied to and cheated don’t use them now I wonder if they even changed my oil.-TO THE RESPONSE- The dealership, known to be highest priced typically, is $89.00 out the door for full syn- Your telling me without that Groupon I’d paid basically $135.00 for an oil change?

Mike was great. My 2005 Tahoe needed a new transmission. He told me it would take 4-6 days but they got it done in 3 days and came in $300 below the estimate. Very thorough in his description of the potential issues and good communication all the way through. I will use these guys from now on. Highly recommended!

This business is less than a mile from my house and I found a Groupon for a standard oil change. I called to make an appointment, was told a week out, not a big deal. Took my car in, they were very professional, read through the fine print, they charge extra for a disposal fee and for a little bit of extra oil, maybe $6. Not bad at all. They called me prior to starting after they did their check to let me know about a few things to watch for, nothing critical, but I needed an air filter. I added that on, to keep up with the maintenance of my vehicle. It was a drop off and pick up, so they were done in about 2 hours. I would use them again for an oil change for sure.

During the last snow storm in the Springs, I slid my Ford Explorer into a curb and it snapped my front passenger wheel right off the axle. I called AAA for a tow and they referred me to Auto Tech Plaza. Man, what an amazing experience!Nobody enjoys having to take their car to a repair shop for obvious reasons, but Robert made it completely painless and easy for me. He was very pleasant during our first exchange. He was also super informative about every detail of how it would be handled through my insurance and he kept me updated through the whole process with multiple phone calls over the following week. He was thorough, straightforward, and honest.I also had a few interactions with the store manager, Mike, who was equally as pleasant to work with. You can really tell that the staff there are customer service focused which is really refreshing.My car is back and in perfect condition - like nothing happened. The technicians did an outstanding job given that my tire looked like it was dangling by a thread when I first brought it in. They got it back to me in just a little over a week which was much quicker than I was originally quoted or anticipating. I will definitely be bringing them my business again with oil changes and the like.I highly recommend Auto Tech Plaza for any auto needs you have!

Update: Since my original experience, George, one of the managers contacted me and made all my bad comments RIGHT! George corrected every deficiency and complaint I had in the most professional manner imaginable. George is the type of person that understands customer service. Pleasure working with you George, THANK YOU!!Under new ownership since my last visit and the difference is amazing..... In a bad way. I was told that I had a cross threaded lug nut. Upon completion of the job, the first 1/4 of the threads is what was stripped, a clear indication that the impact wrench was not holding the nut true and as it left the stud it went out of line causing the problem. When I confronted the guy that told me about it he would not listen to my point of view and constantly talked over me, unprofessional. Pictures to come. Sadly, like most businesses in the auto world the patron will fix their screw up vice letting them further disassemble and screw things up.Update: I looked at the wheel that was on the side they stripped the lug not on and there is a nice scratch from their excellent work.

The service was so amazing this will from now on be my go to place. They were so nice and professional they even gave my son an ice cream while we waited, and they wash your car after they are done. The employees are amazing I highly recommend

I originally started out here with an Oil Change and mentioned AC issues. Mike, George and the guys were GREAT!! They took the time to look into my AC as well and went ahead and replaced my Cabin Air Filter same day. I then went back to replace my timing belt and they were hands down the cheapest place in town by over $100. This place will def recieve more business from my family and friends.

I found Mike and Robert at Auto Tech after multiple negative experiences at the dealership. The guys at Auto Tech know what theyre doing. I now know what to look for in a mechanic. I only wish I had found these guys sooner. They have successfully replaced my coolant reservoir, spark plugs, cabin and engine air filters, etc. I would recommend anyone to do business here.

I didnt need to call to find out the status of my vehicle, they called me. They called me to inform me of what was recommended and how I would like to proceed. They washed my vehicle after their service was completed.They were absolutely amazing!

While traveling through Colorado Springs my car started leaking fluids from the cooling system. I called AAA and they referred me to Auto Tech Plaza on Main Street. Mike, the Service Manager, was very helpful in getting a part delivered overnight that was not available locally and he had me on my way the following business day. They even washed the car!!

We have used Auto Tech Plaza on Main St. in Colorado Springs several times and have been totally satisfied each time. They are friendly, customer-service oriented and do a great job! Mike, the Manager, kept me informed from the beginning and all along the way. He even was courteous enough to squeeze us in during the holidays as we had a road trip planned. I HIGHLY Recommend coming here if you are in the southern part of the Springs and need work done on your car! This place has very reasonable pricing and they always make you feel welcomed. I previously had my familys vehicles serviced at a different shop where I posted a review because of Mike and his staff. Unfortunately that business was sold and Mike, along with his staff ended up here. I went here before when it was under different ownership and didnt like my experience, but the new owner is a super intelligent guy (also very experienced and honest) and cleaned up the staff as well as brought on Mike and his staff. Now this Auto Tech has everything I need to ensure my familys vehicles are properly taken care of. Here is a review I left many years ago about these guys and it is still true:Mike and his staff are all extremely ethical, honest, helpful, and trustworthy. I might be a girl, but Mike never treats me like I dont know what I am talking about. If I have a question, he is always able to respond to me in a direct manner. They also really do stand by their work and warranty. Its super hard to find a mechanic you can trust. Thanks, guys, glad I can trust you.

Amazing honest shop highly recommend. I went in there for what I thought was a simple heater fix they let me know the entire situation and didn’t touch the car without my go ahead because It was going to cost more. They had to take out my old radio (that I was planning to switch out anyways and had the newer in the vehicle) In order to the to the heater but they even took the time to put in my new radio great place. Will definitely be going back for more troubles. Honest people and you are always updated.

Easily best customer service Ive ever received from an auto shop! Staff is very friendly and personable. They quickly come to know their customers on a first name basis. I brought my car in a few times for service(replaced transmission, replaced power steering pump, and an oil change) and was kept well informed by Mike throughout the entire process every time. Their pricing is always very reasonable, in fact theyll do what they can to try to save you some money here and there wherever possible. Cant recommend this auto shop enough!

I bought a Groupon for ac service but my car required additional freon that I could not afford at the time. They were very honest and open about everything and told me to come back in the spring. We brought our car in for a routine oil change and caliper replacement on our rear right wheel and we were quoted a price, or so we thought, turns out it was another issue with the wheel bearing that was causing the issue and they updated us on the issue and took very good care of us letting us know what needed to be done and honoring the quote they had given us in the first place which they could have rightfully uncharged. Great people, wonderful service. They will definitely be getting my business and if you need honest and reliable people who get your concerns THEY are the team for you!

I drive alot for work purposes, so car maintenance is very important to me. Ive probably been to 20 or more places in the Colorado Springs area for maintenance or repairs in the last 15 plus years. If you are in the military don’t ever take your car to this guys l say again IF YOU ARE IN THE MILITARY DON’T TAKE YOUR CAR TO AUTO TECH PLAZA!!. So my break pad and rotor was messed up and was making noise so l took it to them to repair. But before l went there l already went to one Mechanic shop and they told me l have to buy a new break pad and rotor which will cost me $250, But l choose this guys Auto tech plaza!!! This useless guys changed one and left the other instead of the two. So now either the rotor or break pad has to compensate the other. Its also making the exact same noise it was making earlier on and they also charged me 390 plus too. The funny thing l went there to let them no the situation and they told me it’s not Making any noise!!! They are thieves don’t ever take your vehicle or car to this guys!!! Moreover tell your boss to remove that military awards and decorations at shop!!! You guys don’t deserve them. Bunch of crooks

This shop has changed in the last year. I have taken my vehicles in for over two years. The service used to be average and has now exceeded my expectations. The interior of the shop has been revamped and is honestly more comfortable than previous visits were. The staff is friendly and good at explaining what is going on mechanically to me. I will definitely be bringing my vehicles back here in the future.

A good company normally gets the job done. Make sure you get a complete quote, and fully understand the scope of work to be provided. Get everything in writing. I give them 4 stars theyre a pretty good company.

These guys are awesome! Get the groupon and oil changed with them!! They check all fluids, check maintenance interval and even presume wash your car!! They’ve got a long time customer with a simple oil change.

Just as a nation should be judged on how it treats its elders, so should a business. My 64 year old mother brought her vehicle here for an oil change and tire rotation. After leaving, with the services completed, there was a major vibration in one of the wheels (NOT THE FAULT OF AUTO TECH PLAZA). I brought my mothers vehicle in and the owner George identified an issue with her tire that was pre-existing. George relieved the issue by rotating the tires back and balancing them, this will keep her safe until she can purchase new ones at the beginning of the year. George took care of my mother the way that I would and Auto Tech Plaza will continue to receive business from my brother and mother. Thank you for the service Auto Tech Plaza.

Went in for the first time the other day for a service. I walked in the door and was greeted with a smile and a friendly hello. Needless to say it made my day. I dropped off my car and they called me when it was done, as promised. Great service, the best I have experienced in a long time. The price was even less than I was quoted.

My wife uses this mechanic alot as well as her whole family for the last 10 years or so. Every repair we have done on her car has been here due to their fair prices honesty and integrity. Every repair we had done has always been done before the quoted span of time expected. Have not had to take my vehicle here but if needed repair i would take it back here in a heart beat.

This guy quoted me 22 dollars per tire for a mount and balance, and then told me thats the going rate for the service... I am sitting here getting them done for 15 dollars a tire... I can only imagine what the cost of getting something repaired would be... The auto shop that went to said Its not rocket science and it definitely shouldnt cost 22 per tire lol... I do feel that he was deliberately trying to rip me off... Needless to say I will never be back...good luck

I went here for an oil change. They were friendly, the price was reasonable, and they did a good job, but I waited for over an hour so I think Ill stick with my normal oil change place for that reason.

I took my car to these so called mechanics and had them run a diagnostics test on my car and after they had did that they came back and told me it was the transmission..the same thing i told them..i asked what is wrong with the transmission..they said we dont really know there might be a fuse thats out and we cant tell..so for them to tell me what i already knew, they charged me $135.00..I would think that there machine would be able to pin point the problem if their trouble shooting skills were up to standard..I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy and its amazing they re still in business..I was warned by others not to take my car there now i know..

Horrible!! They purposely screwed up my pt cruiser and had horrible customer service! Run as fast as you can from auto tech in security!! I have a friend who also had an oil change there and now all of her gaskets are blown! Run do not walk!!

BUYER RUN!!! This shop gave me worst auto shop experience in my life. They quoted one price over the phone, then they add $200.00 to price when I picked up my car. They lied about the parts that needed to be replaced and ripped me off.
