Most trustworthy and reputable repair auto shop in Colorado springs. Great communicators, fair, I would recommend them to anybody without reservation.

Took my wifes car in for diagnostic due to it getting hot when driving at higher speeds and even when low speeds but getting to the speed limit with more than half throttle. First time it was here they called a few hours later to tell us there was nothing wrong and that,we were basically crazy. I gave them another shot mentioning that they may not have gotten on it kike i do merging on the highway and going highway speeds. The service member then told me its not his fault and they dont deive 70 plus where i told them the first round that the problem would arise because its to far away for them to deive at highway sleeds. This made no sience to me but he said hed give it another shot. I at this time said i was happy to take it elsewhere if they werent capable but was told they hadnt charged me but if they looked again they would definitely charge me which is fine because i completely expect to pay for service rendered. Second time we picked it up my wife was told that i was nuts and had no idea what i was talking about and there was nothing at all wrong with the car. I then drove it for less than 1 block and it immediately got very warm. The fan on the car that has nothing wrong was running at full speed for several m8nutes after my 2 block drive and i called to,let thwm know it was most definitely still happening. Now its been rediagnosed and giess what, not only a faulty fan but also an airbubble in the coolant system caused by athermostat failure. Thanks again for nothing and i paid $60 for a lack of diagnosis. Hopefully this helps others wither push for accurate diagnosis here or just avoid the attitudes and waste of time at this facility.

Cornerstone Auto Repair is the best in the business! I came in to Cornerstone with a laundry list of things that I believed needed to happen to my car to get it ready for a trip. Cornerstone was able to check all of the things that I asked about, and perform the maintenance tasks that needed to be performed. Moreover, and why I would recommend Cornerstone to anyone, they do NOT desire to take advantage of the customer! The list of things that I had them check would have easily totaled into the thousands of dollars, and the fine folks at Cornerstone were able to tell me that these things did not need repaired, which saved me money!! These guy are awesome! I was able to drop my car off and have them look at it. They were very prompt and got to my car within about 2 hours. They also were able to leave my keys in a lock box because I get off work after they close. Will be using them for future needs. Customer service was also amazing. 10/10!!

Thank God 2020 is about over! Wont detail all that went wrong this year because I expect that I am one of the luckier ones... no Covid-19 (yet). The one shining light in the year was to research auto repair shops for one that might actually fix the death wobble issue on my 1996 Jeep. Another reviewer gave a positive notation to Cornerstone Auto Repair for the same issue so I decided to try them out. It worked! Two shops prior replaced the steering stabilizer, neither was a permanent fix. Cornerstone replaced all eight control arms and the old Jeep feels solid as a rock again, no more death wobble. Sure the control arms were a more expensive repair than the stabilizer, but it was the right fix for the problem, and thats what matters. Cornerstone also serviced several other issues on this old car, too many to list here, but in the end everything works properly again and once I put new paint on the car I expect it will serve as a great spare, and best of all, paid for car, able to get me through any adverse weather. Everybody at Cornerstone are great people. I highly recommend their service. Thank you.

Was traveling from out of town on a road trip when my A/C went out. I was going to be staying in the area for 4 days before heading to the next destination. After calling numerous places and not having any luck to get an appointment, Cornerstone Auto was able to see me in 2 days and fix the A/C that day.

Randy is our preferred Mechanic because he knows our vehicles and communicates whats actually needed not more than that, plus answers any questions or concerns we have. With Craigs Automotive Repair Service - 1 vehicle made it past 235,000 miles, 1 vehicle is still going strong with over 245,000 miles and we expect they will keep our newest vehicle going for many years and miles to come.

I took my vehicle for services and quoted it at a low rate. Later received a call stating they need more time with a price increase. After a few more hours of installation, I received another call requesting more time and money. I finally refused, took my vehicle home and watched few YouTube videos. Installed everything flawlessly with 3 hours. This place is full of incompetent money-hungry workers. Do not recommend!!!!!

I brought my car in due to it acting as if it was not getting gas, instead of saying you need this and that. They actually took my car for a drive and put it on the machine an informed me what was actually wrong. I did not feel I was being taken advantage of due to me being a woman. They did a wonderful job on my car and even brought me home and picked me up. Everyone was very friendly and I will use them in the future an refer my friends..

Had Craig repair a number of things including a clicking noise which was a lose hubcap to major engine work. Ive been to a lot of mechanics and with question Craig is both my favorite and the best. His prices are responsible and more importantly hes honest.

This place is amazing! They are the most honest automotive place Ive ever dealt with. If you dont need it they are not doing it! We have a child at the university and was told she needed brakes when she got her oil changed at another garage. We had her take the car to Craig and they said absolutely not! Can you imagine that? Craig Auto Service is the most honest and excellent service providers to any automobile we have, an old Toyota truck, an old Buick Le Sabre and Chevrolet Cruise 2012. Service is quick, employees are excellent at their trade and most kind to their customers as information and courteous staff.

I had my car in at the Subaru dealer for the airbag recall. They gave me a list of things that had to be repaired and the cost went over $5k. I took the vehicle to Craigs and they sorted out what was really needed. Did a great job, quickly and explained what was going on so that I could understand.

Been going to Craigs for 20 plus years. My kids were little then now they take their cars to Craig also, as well as any one that asks me where to go for excellent auto repair. Honest to a fault with a great crew working for him.

My explorer had a wheel bearing fail 600 miles from home. Called these guys and got it in at almost 8am 2 guys working on it an not even 2 hours later Im back on the road headed home! And Bill was $125 cheaper than what was quoted. Highly recommend these guys and if I lived closer Id be a repeat customer without hesitation.

Married with kids my wife and myself always use this auto shop for every need we have with our cars. I took my old Ford Ranger pickup [19 years old] in for a check engine light warning and this company did a wonderful job searching out the immediate problem. The vehicle was repaired and on my bill was some suggestions of future work I might want to have done to keep vehicle running in top shape.No high pressure here. No up selling of services, just suggestions for the future should you want to keep an eye on. I was treated extremely well and all of the employees were very considerate. When I picked up my vehicle I saw the owner, sitting in the office area, and you could tell that he had worked on vehicles all day long. In todays world where do you see the owner hands on working with the other techs? I have a lot of respect for this hard working man and this company. So my wife was in a car crash plus our car only has 2 doors when we have 2 kids... so I had to pick up a cheap vehicle. Something with 3rd row seating for the kids and dog. I purchased a Chevy trail blazer for almost next to nothing, the guy who sold it said he had recently had an oil change and battery replaced. I had the guys over at Craigs Automotive Repair Shop in Colorado Springs do a full inspection of my vehicle and found that the battery was dead, oil was dirty, I had to get a transfer case control module (I think thats what its called) and I was informed I also have transmission issues. The staff at Craigs automotive was very professional and called me when they found something that would need to be fixed before fixing it to let me decide if I wanted the repairs. I had mist of my repairs done there, will need to fix the transmission first and oil changed before getting the rest of my repair work done (leaky pinion) these guys know what they are doing and I highly recommend. I will definitely get my vehicle serviced here again in the future.

Honest, dependable, quick service, and good with their customers. The ONLY issue Ive had with them is their card machine. Long story short, they ran my card twice, both times it was declined according to their machine. So I used my girlfriends card and it went through just fine. But my account has been pending the transaction for 3 days now, even though my card was declined. So were currently out $500. I have no doubt theyll help sort this out, its just a bit of an inconvenience.Update: This has not been an easy process. A week later, and my money is still pending. Craigs has been uncooperative and doesnt seem to want to comprehend whats going on. They keep making it seem like Im trying to get money out of them, which I am not. This money is basically in limbo. I cant access it and neither can Craigs. All I asked was for them to send a fax to my bank to release this hold on my money. Does it make sense now guys? Now that I got to fully explain the situation on here without being interrupted?

Great service, with a friendly attitude! My car had a non-emergency issue that COULD have waited, but they squeezed me in the very next day. After getting their quote for the work needed, I asked if there was anything they could do to wiggle the price down. They happily made some calls, found a less-expensive parts vendor, & dropped the price by about 10%, without any loss of quality.Not only that, but a minor issue on the car seemed to point to the loss of a plastic spray-guard (wrong term, of course; I’ve no idea what it’s actually called) due to some stripped screws. Hearing my disappointment at this, they went ahead & found a way to drill some new holes, and get it attached, and at virtually no additional charge!Bottom line, they went WAY ABOVE & BEYOND what most mechanics would do, and all at a price at least 10% lower than the average for the area. I cannot recommend them any more highly; if your car needs service, do yourself a favor and take it to Craig-you won’t be sorry!!!

This place is great. I had an electrical problem in my jeep, the previous owner had decided to rewire it but had no clue how to do it. It was a nightmare Im sure. There are literally phone cables they found that dont do anything!Craig automotive was fast, they explained what happened, the tech came and spoke with me about what he found, etc. The girl at the front desk was on it too. She called every day to say what was going on, and she knew what she was talking about (I usually turn my own wrenches, but electrical is out of my league). If you need work done on your baby, take her here.

First timers at Craigs Auto- they lived up to their reputation! My husband thought the fan clutch in our Explorer was failing. We compared some prices- even though Craigs was slightly higher, we support local businesses so made an appt. Turns out there were 2 entirely different issues going on between our cooling system (new issue) & timing chain (previously worked on at a shop up in Boulder). The timing chain is under warranty. Laray (hope Im spelling that right!) went above & beyond to communicate with the warranty company for us, finally coming to the conclusion that we should return to the other shop for repairs. Travis, our tech, even spoke with the other shop for me to properly explain the situation & requested they call him with an update because hes curious about what went wrong!Their communication with us was exceptional. Their honesty about the situation was refreshing. Laray kindly offered for us to come back for a visual inspection of the timing chain after its fixed (hopefully under warranty). Craigs has a great team. I look forward to bringing our vehicle back in the future.

These folks went above and beyond to help me when I was in the Springs from out of state dealing with my moms estate when her van, on its last legs, was just not going to make it home one last time without their help. I took it in for a leaky radiator and they took a look and gave me their honest assessment that sadly there was just too much to repair and that my mom; who had used that van for work as a delivery van, had definately gotten her moneys worth. Although that poor van did have to be salvaged; these folks (all of them) stayed after they closed to get my mons van started one more time so I could get it home. I would take any of my cars there.

Had my 2010 Prius towed to Craigs from another shop who thought it could be the hybrid system. Explained to Travis the mechanic it had a new 12V battery, he explained the hybrid battery could be $4k replace. As it had a new 12V I feared this was the case. A girl from Craigs called to tell me they needed to replace the 12V first in order to diagnose the car, it would be $550 just replace battery! Not including any diagnostics. I explained to her that it was a brand new battery and to just hold off. She then called me back an hour later to say the owner doesnt want to work on the car, i was out of town. A week later I talked to Travis again, he was very nice and talked to me as though he would work on the car. It was parked out on the public street, he informed me he was able to start it and move it but he needed to replace the 12V battery to diagnose the car. I asked him so it started? Did you get any error codes? He said he didnt know until i had them replace the battery. I explained it was a brand new battery so not only was it the $550 to have them install a new one, but the $200 I had just spent and would he at least let me see if I could have AutoZone give me a new one. Otherwise having them replace the 12V battery was going to cost me almost $800! Travis said thats fine. I took the battery back to AutoZone and they tested it and sure enough it was a bad battery so they gave me a new and I took it back to Craigs. The girl then tells me we dont have time to work on your car. So I put the new battery in the car and it started right up! NOT ONE SINGLE ERROR CODE! They knew the hybrid system was OK, no error codes and just needed the12V and wanted to nail me with as much cost as possible. I suspect that had I paid them the $550 to put in the battery they would have then told me i needed a new hybrid battery and nailed me with that cost too and probably sold my battery to another unsuspecting fool. I think Travis the mechanic is good and honest but THE OWNER OF THIS PLACE IS A CROOK.So far the only honest mechanic Ive dealt with on the Springs is Peak Automotive on W Colorado. They dont work hybrid systems which I why I didnt take it to them.
