We currently have a studio that we turned in to a little store for metaphysical items and cartomancy readings. My business partner and I have enjoyed the time we been here.Cottonwood has given us the opportunity to get started, but we are soon to expand to a bigger place.Definitely check it out, enjoy the many exhibits that are offered through the year.

One of my favorite places in town. There are always fun events going on and I have been taking acrylic painting classes here for over a year and learned so much. Its a great stress relief even if youre not that artistic. There are a lot of very talented local artists with studios here, its always fun to check out what theyre up to and art always makes a great gift 🎁

Im currently enrolled in my third pottery class at Cottonwood and I love it, shoutout to Kris Saxton! Every week, I look forward to getting into the studio for a class or open studio. The studios energy is so welcoming and relaxed. Cottonwood has navigated all of the COVID adjustments excellently. It is so nice each week to come in and see new artists throughout the gallery area. I cant believe I lived in Colorado Springs for so long and didnt embrace this excellent community art center!

I have a studio in this building for my design business for a couple of years, and I cannot express enough how amazing the staff is here, along with the artists and other business owners. This community supports the arts, creative industries, and offer fantastic support. They participate in the citys monthly First Friday in curating fine art in many different mediums in the main gallery of the building—rotated monthly. Youll also find beautiful artwork along the halls throughout the entire building. If you are looking for art or a creative boost, Cottonwood is a lovely place to visit or take-up a studio!

This place just kicked me out because I had my service dog with me to sit quietly and do homework while waiting for someone to finish a class. They said they didn’t care that my dog was clearly marked a service animal, that they had someone say my dog scares them so I get kicked out. Maybe instead of trying teaching art, they should look into the laws protecting myself and my service animals in ANY public place.

My husband and I took a throwing class with Kris and we loved it! We learned a ton (Kris is a great teacher and makes everything look so easy!), and now we use a couple of plates, bowls, and mugs in our kitchen that we made with our own hands! So cool!

The Cottonwood Arts Center is such a great community for local Colorado Springs artists. The best part about this place is honestly the gallery exhibits and the art on the walls outside everyones studio. You really get a sense of the work and commitment everyone has to the space because of this. If youre lucky enough to get a space, dont give it up!

We were able to throw a show here for a small 2 hour event which went fantastic here! We really appreciate your support and for allowing us to use your room and space for our Comedy Show Saturday March 16. The staff here were very accommodating and we loved everything about this place. Thanks Again for all of the Support! Isreal Jones and Mike Murphy at Ovel Interactive.

When you call, they dont tell you there is only 1 hidden door into the place, when you ask the front desk where a certain office is, they then stare at you in shock! & treat you like Airport Security!!! this is WITH an Apt!! no one tells you that it is a High Flalutin office building of Artsy people. so its difficult to find your way through the maze!, the Front Desk also has NO number directory!!! so it was very difficult to call anyone. I texted my photos to some rotten Male named Kirkwood, or Woodcock, & after he looked at my items he decided to let his Dementia take over & started threatening me!!! for sending PHOTOS FOR AN EST!!I found some one else to be my Coach on the subject.

The digs are nice, but i have done a couple of events here and they are always obscenly disorganized. the whole place is a little pretentious if you ask me. its a cool place to check out the art shows they have there, but its ususally like the same 10 people showing the same stuff.
