First time working with rent-e-quip and I had the best experience! As a wedding planner, I had heard of REQ through others planners but hasn’t had the chance to use them until this past weekend. Although 45 minutes out of the way, it was highly worth the drive. David and his family/team gave exceptional customer service. I got stuck in traffic and wouldn’t be there until 5-10 min after their office closed and they happily waited and assisted me. LookingForward to using them again!

Edited after seeing that response. AGAIN, Amazon is right up the street and starts everyone at $15/hr so saying that you have industry leading wages is laughable at best.Applied for a driver position with a pay range of $15-$21/hr. When I showed up, I was told everyone starts at $13/hr and I could have a warehouse position, but I can make close to what I was making before because theres tons of overtime and there are great benefits (basic health insurance). Amazon is literally up the street with warehouse jobs paying $15/hr. I want a living wage with time to be with my family. DO BETTER

These guys were awesome! We had a 75-person backyard wedding and rented a 50 x 20 foot tent, 12 tables, 60 chairs, a dance floor, and linens from them and would gladly do it all again! Everyone involved was professional, practical, and really had our best (financial) interest at heart. Delivery and pick-up went smoothly as well! This is a very well-run, customer-oriented business!

Very helpful. We needed two king tables for our daughter’s wedding. Their web site had great visualization of the products. The staff was friendly. They loaded the tables for pick-up and unloaded the tables when we returned. We plan to use them for our future rental needs.

The linens, decor and lighting turned out even better than we had hoped. I would highly recommend them and hope I get to work with them again!

Simon came out within a couple hours to try and resolve. Unfortunately, it was too big of a problem, so the equipment had to be loaded up and hauled away. Bob assisted me to find alternate equipment to get the project done quickly. David was a very friendly and informative rental agent. No matter my question he had a correct answer. Wonderful communication from the start. Placing our rental order for Raleigh wedding was a breeze and making changes as well. As a planner, it is no surprise that mishaps occur on wedding days, however it is how they are dealt with that matters most! Unfortunately, there were several pieces missing for the dance floor on delivery. With the venue being 2.5 hours away, re-delivery was not an ideal option, however the manager drove down to Raleigh to hand deliver the pieces and make things right. We appreciated this commitment to service and would highly recommend Rent-E-Quip to others. Thanks for being fabulous. We loved designing with your pieces!

We used Rent-E-Quip for our October backyard wedding and they were amazing! They really do it all but we rented a tent, tables, chairs, linens, and beverage glasses. Their inventory was incredible! Called everywhere looking for a lift, no one had one. Rent e quip not only had one available I was able to reserve it over the phone for pick up the next day.. I arrived that morning to be greeted by a young man who conducted himself very professional, nice, just great over all experience with him. Check out was quick also, the guy who helped loaded the lift was very professional. Whole process took 10 mins... Will be going back in 2 weeks for another rental

I rented the Dash N Splash w/pool inflatable for one day. The staff was prompt, kind, and answered all of my questions. Delivery and setup was done on a Saturday morning and the inflatable was picked up early Monday morning. I felt that my money was well spent since my son was able to play on the inflatable an extra day. Some companies rent by the hour but Rent E Quip will allow extra time dependent upon your reservation.

I had a great experience! Polite and quick service. Easy to rent, they attached trailer to my truck, and drop-off was less than 5 minutes.

Simple and easy process to place an order and a much easier pickup and return process

I just finished working with Rent E Quip on a styled shoot at Lakeside at Welch Estate! They were (as they always are) incredible. My rentals arrived in a timely manor, from friendly delivery drivers, it was what I ordered (and it was beautiful) and I think the pictures speak for themselves about the quality of they rentals! I send my brides there as often as I possibly can!

They delivered and improperly set up a dance floor for my wedding. Id fully paid for the rental and followed their process for setting up delivery and pick up. When I reached out to them to address and resolve...there was no resolution and it was a true upset on our wedding day. I will never use this vendor again for any of my events and I do not recommend them.

Very reasonably priced sheetrock lift rental. Rental is not just till closing that day, but for full 24 hours. Equipment use is fully explained, friendly staff.

HIGHEST REVIEW and I AM ONE WHO KNOWS! As one retired from the event planning/catering industry, I do believe I might have the background to offer an honest review and I give Rent E Equip my highest rating. When my son and his bride decided to marry and to do so within two months, it took every skill and trick in the book to pull this one off. Rent E Equip was always professional and patient and was so very willing to work with my ideas and concepts. They willingly offered ideas to save money and most importantly they kept in the forefront of all discussion’s necessary permits and regulations. Their professionalism in making sure no utility lines were cut with the stabilization of the tent made me feel very secure – and we didn’t have a single crisis. The day was a success!

Every time I come here to rent a stump grinder when mine is in the shop there is always a issue. Teeth were not sharp once, second time the toro track unit had loss in power, now I rent a sc362 and I get into a stump and the machine has so much play from the bushings being shot. I call and speak to David and he tries to make excuses like I am full of it. Bring it in and a mechanic looks so lost as to what to look for and David says ohhhh yeahhh that’s a lot of play. I have ran grinders and owned them for 10 years. Not to mention I was a diesel tech in the army and after time in service. Only reason I keep coming back is I am a firm believer in chances but I’m done especially after losing $1200 job today because of this. This would ha be been prevented if there was a experienced mechanics who know how to do more than grease fittings and change filters

I have had countless occasions to worth with Rent E Quip from planning my own wedding to holiday parties and upwards of 10 weddings for my couples. They are my favorite to work with. Their knowledge makes them incredibly helpful in determining what will work best for a space, their selection has never not met the needs of often very different styles for my couples, and they are a pleasure to work with from Inquiry to event pickup. You could not find a better family to work with or a better company to trust your biggest life moments to. They are truly the best.

David and Adam were both super nice and helpful with picking out items for my wedding HOWEVER, there were a few things that ruined the experience for me. A month before my wedding, my planner and I decided to go see everything I picked out (And partially paid for) last December. In December, I asked if they had gold beaded chargers and was told they didn’t currently have them however they were ordering them for 2019 weddings. Trusting that information, we paid half the fee and received a copy of the invoice that showed gold beaded chargers. Fast forward to October (1 month before my wedding) I ask to see the full place setting ordered back in December. It was NOT the gold beaded charger and when I asked about it, I was told it was decided in April that they were not ordering them. It would’ve been nice if that were communicated to me when the decision was made in April. We had to reach out to another rental company to get the chargers and luckily, they were available on such short notice. Fast forward to my wedding day, SEVERAL rental items were missing from our order which left some tables with incomplete place settings and seat cushions. Again, David and Adam were personable and nice to work with but the communication needs improvement and in the future, double and triple check that everything is correct before delivery.

The Rent-E-Quip team was very personable and professional. When we first inquired, they asked us to come in and go over our order to ensure they provided us with whatever we needed! No other company did this. They also had a great deal going on and we were able to save about 500 dollars off our entire bill and get everything we needed/wanted. They also were great with keeping me updated on if some items were discontinued, when the tent/equipment would be delivered, organizing for the property to be looked at, arranging for someone to come out and inspect, etc. I highly recommend Rent-E-Quip for your party needs!!

Excellent selection and very easy rental process. Everyone Ive dealt with has been friendly and professional. Im just a homeowner, but they treated me no different than a commercial user.I rented a brush cutter for a weekend and the belt broke while using it (it happens). I called the weekend help number and was given several options, no questions asked. I opted to pick up the machine for the following weekend for no additional charge.Ive recommended them to others and will continue to use them again. Other small businesses could take a page or two from their way of business.
