DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!!This company DOES NOT stand behind their products. Their customer service and communication is horrible. I bought a stove for one of our rentals a couple of weeks ago and when we hooked it up it did not work. I called Bill (the owner) and he was very rude and full of excuses. Nine days later and we still couldnt get anyone to take responsibility for the stove. Dont trust them, they are only out to take your money. Customer satisfaction means nothing to them.Reconditioned Appliances in Pontoon were finally able to help me. If you are looking for used appliance, go to them, they are super friendly and have great prices!

I would be very leery of purchasing from this business as I believe they are running a scam of selling broken appliances at a “used” price. Not to mention they have zero respect for your home during delivery (see photo of how they scuffed up our walls).I just purchased a fridge from them and immediately found the freezer and fridge portion is not cooling. I’m noticing many people here with the same experience of purchasing the refurbished or used appliances and having issues with there products almost immediately after install.Be careful, I would not do business with this company again.

I bought a refrigerator from this place. Noticed that It was not cooling hardly. I called them and she said wait 4 days then it should work (never heard of that) welp that was not the case at all I waited the four days and still not keeping my food cold. Called again and she said I would have to bring it back which I did pick it up but I had to rent a uhaul truck and take my door off just to get it in my house. But then she told me that she could do a house call for a fee which I was okay with but then went back on her word saying I had to bring it in. Which is kind of crazy I bought a refrigerator for 200$ and the day I got it home it wasn’t working properly. If I owned a business and a customer had the same issue within a 24 hour period of buying it I would do much better to make sure the customer was well taken care of.. just puts a bad rep for this business I will not recommend this company to anyone and will NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE AGAIN!!! VERY DISSATISFIED AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Not how u treat new customers. Wouldn’t u want customers to come back??? Hahaha oh well!!Thanks for letting me waste 200$ for the refrigerator and the money I have wasted on food for my kids cuz they can’t EAT SPOILED/ ROTTEN FOOD!!! Needless to say is that whom ever worked on the fridge I bought either don’t knw what they are or were doing but the fan was not plugged in and I’m not an expert but things need to be PLUGGED INTO WORK correct me if I’m wrong. So that cause my fridge to freeze up and not work properly. Yes it was an easy fix but I do hold this company for the food that my family had to throw away and for the horrible business that they are running up there!

Delivery drivers wouldn’t wear a mask even though the tenant asked for it. They then threatened to leave the appliance on the curb. Avoid the place.Went and took a look at the unit. They destroyed a bunch of the walls moved the appliance. Then on top of that the appliance didnt work.

Great fridge until it started acting up 3 weeks after I got it. Then finally went out. Excuse after excuse of why the repair hasnt or cant be done, finally had to buy a new fridge. My family would of starved waiting for this circus of a company to make things right. Save your self the time and money and buy elsewhere.

Unfortunately, our experience was not great. We walked in looking for a gas dryer. The lady behind the desk barely looked up at us and pointed. She said it wasn’t cleaned yet and their only one. The store was very dirty, smelled like a disgusting cigarette, and no one was wearing a mask.

So lesson is, this company doesnt stand behind their product. Customer service leaves much to much to be desired. Dont tust that product provided will work. This company certainly does not support their their own values of care. They are unwilling to make anything right. I cant even pay these people to come fix this for me. Products should have a sign sold as is. Leaving a 1 star because I can not do a negative one.

COMMUNICATION WAS VERY WELL WITH the delivery driver Bill.He did an awesome job arrangingthe washer and dryer in the home to my liking. 👍👍👍The good thing is that he explained and demonstrated information on and about the washer and dryer.Bill did a neat job!Service was awesome from beginning to the end!Also, the clerk lady also did a very great job!Thank you World Famous Appliance.

Dryer broke about a week after purchasing it from world famous appliance. I would have been better throwing my $$$ into the trash can. He was unwilling to stand behind his workmanship and incapable of communicating with a customer.Buyer beware!

I have been looking for a stove for a week , calling appliance stores , googling all kinds of places . I came across world famous appliance . I went in got a stove and they were amazing people ! GLAD I LISTENED TO MY NIECE!My stove went out on me and I was in need of another one. I wound up Googling used appliance stores because the store Id gone to before in Swansea didnt have what I needed.Came across this one and overlooked it because of the ratings. Drove around and called my niece and she told me to come here because she purchased appliances from this store.I told her about the ratings and she stated she bought a 6-month warranty and so far so good.I went ahead and went to the store and, lo and behold, I knew the owner because Ive purchased appliances from him before. Never had a problem with those.We talked and I told him how I almost didnt walk through his doors.I told him I like reviews but sometimes I hate them because they tend to be based on misunderstandings, feelings and not facts.* Important thing to note: If you pick up the appliance, theres a 30.day warranty and if something happens, you have to bring it back. UNDERSTOOD because when you purchased it, those are the terms you choose/chose.* If he delivers the appliance to you, you have the option of getting a 6-month warranty and helll either come to you to repair or take the appliance back for repair.I AM VERY PLEASED that I purchased from him being that Im a satisfied, repeat client (didnt know that before I walked through the doors). We wound up buying another appliance we needed while there, all for a great price!!!!

****BUYER BEWARE ****If I could give this place zero stars I would. I purchased a washer/dryer set from Facebook Market on December 11th. Several days later when we got the keys to our house we got the set home, started installing the washer and discovered that there were no hoses included. As we proceeded to hook up the dryer we realized that it didn’t have a power cord! Seriously??? A trip to Menards was needed so we could purchase the necessary items to install the appliances. As soon as we had them hooked up I started the washing machine to run it on a normal cycle. The washing machine kept locking and unlocking the lid repeatedly, it continued making clicking sounds/funny noises for about 15 minutes before the cycle started. When it got done I opened the lid and all the clothes were still dry. The hoses were hooked up correctly and the water was turned on. I’ve tried to run the washing machine several times since and it does the same thing every time.The dryer worked for two days and when I went to start it on the 3rd day it would NOT start. (Breaker wasn’t tripped) now I have a useless washer and dryer that I can’t use and we’re a family of 5.I have called the owner numerous times, left a message to call me back. 5 minutes after I called he sent me a text message and asked if he could call me back. He NEVER did. When I text him about 5 hours later he replied to me with “who is this.”This business (if you even want to call if that) is only out to get your money. Once you leave their dirty/disgusting store you’re SOL because they won’t help you with anything.Do not buy anything from this place! You’ll be screwed out of money and a washer/dryer set just like we are!!! I regret buying from this place! I should’ve listened to my gut.

Bought a Washer, dry and refrigerator from them. Get home two of the three don’t work. They tell me I have to bring them back to the store to be fixed. Prior to buying, I asked the manager to plug them in to ensure working order and he ensured me that they worked. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend. Shady.

Said the ice maker worked but when we got it home, the water inlet was missing. No way they tested it! Very nice guy and knowledgeable but will lie to your face about his appliances. Oh by the way, when we woke up the next morning, there was a puddle all over our new laminate floor due to the cracked tray underneath which I ended up fixing myself. Never followed through on his warranty promise

Bought a washer & dryer about 3 weeks ago. The process was simple and fast. I was kinda skeptical from reading the reviews but they’re cheap so I gave them a shot. They hook everything up but you may want to double check after they leave though..the hose was not connected correctly so there was water everywhere. They came back 10 minutes after I called them & corrected the issue, even got the water up..mistakes happen..I will also note that your appliance will most likely go out after your 30 day warranty as that is what I am now experiencing. You get what you pay for.. if you just need an appliance to last you a couple of weeks then I’d suggest them but if you’re looking for something that will last for awhile then I’d suggest shopping around.

Terrible communication, doesnt follow theough with warranty issues.I bought a washer and dryer set from this company. Seemed like a great deal, came with a warranty. Well, delivery was 1 week late, so problem #1 since we already got rid of our washer. 1st load of launry with the new set, sounded like an airplane was going to take off. We contacted the owner, sent a video, no correspondence. Got ignored for about 2 weeks. We continued to use until the spin cycle stopped working. Contacted again, now it wont spin. One week later, he came out to look at it. Opened the door, diagnosed the problem as a spider arm crack. It has now been 3 weeks of broken promises to replace the unit. We continued to use and now the washer wont spin at all. Several trips to the business, owner is never there. Secretary cant help. Very upset and have to go to the laundry mat to wash clothes.

Friendly service. 30 day warranty. Small delivery and haul away charges. They also service appliances with a low house call charge.

First washer broke first 2 weeks we had it brought it back on a wed. They said they wasn’t able to fix it they would need to get us a different one. I called Saturday and they said they would call me back in an hour. That never happened. So I called back Monday they said they had my washer ready for me. On a plus note they did give me a bigger washer🥳 which does help with a family of six. Good people just need to work on your communication skills. I have the new washer running now so we will see how this one does👍

I will give them three stars for their friendly service and knowledge. They delivered on time, but a month to the day our washer we purchased broke down. Made a repair appt for today. Was told Id be called in the morning to give me a time frame on when theyre be there. Almost one in the afternoon and two calls later, no service man and no call back after leaving two voice mails. This site says theyre open, but not answering phone. Havent had a washer since last Thursday. I have things to do today too besides waiting and waiting. The repair men finally showed up at the thirty. I apologize. I do suggest that someone call in the morning to give a time frame for repair. That way I couldve done things I needed to do.

We bought a GE french door stainless refrigerator with a 30 day guarantee. It never worked properly. They description on marketplace said like new, good condition. The freezer never worked. The refrigerator part only worked for a couple weeks. We lost over $200 in frozen food plus the cost of a useless refrigerator because of this unprofessional business. It has been 2 months now and they have still not fixed the problem. The secretary has blocked my number instead of getting this figured out. I would definitely not recommend these guys.

Posting on behalf of my friend who was told she needed a new washer by this store. 2 times there were schedules made to deliver and neither time did someone show up or call to say they couldnt make it. What the kicker is, she paid for this washer upfront and they have made no effort to give her the money back.

We ordered a fridge at the beginning of January with certain specifications needed for the tight space. We were told no problem. Fridge was delivered with wrong specifications. They were apologetic and said they would bring a different one right away. Well 1 week turned into 2 which turned into a month and a half and we have not seen them. To make matters worse the fridge had been turning on and off. We have lost $100’s of dollars in food. We now asked for them to just come get it and give a refund since from day one they didn’t fulfill promises of what was ordered. We have had to call every other day to try to get it taken car of and they always say they will call back or show up and never do. Terrible company and terrible people!

World Famous SCAM! Long story short, owner sold me a washer but never delivered. After 2 no calls, no show...Now wont give me my money back. Ive reported them to Federal Trade Commission and BBB. Should be zero stars but wont let me post without at least one!**** Update! Owner gave me a check for my refund and the bank wont cash it. Overdrawn! Might call the cops and turn him in for writing a bad check!

Bill was at my house 20 minutes after we called him. Fair, honest pricing and work. Bill walked us through what was wrong with our washer as well as showing us other issues and giving genuine, practical advice. He will be our go-to!

Called about getting a new motor for our washing machine and we were able to go pick it up the same day! Bill was very nice and helpful and they had very good prices for their equipment.

Bought a Fridge was to big they letMe exchange it for a different one. Fridge did stop getting cold but they were there in a jiffy to fix it.

I scheduled an appointment to have the owner come over and repair my stove. It was scheduled for him to arrive between 10-12. On the day of, no call, no show. I called and spoke with his wife. She advised he will be there between 12-2. When he didnt show up, I called back and was told that the owner was having vehicle problems.

My husband and I were looking for a garage refrigerator went into world-famous appliances was greeted at the door by the owner with a friendly handshake they were very helpful and kind and patient while we chose what we wanted great business quality honest man and true to his word ! We highly recommend him we will be passing the word around and we will definitely be using him again !

Make sure to check their BBB rating prior to purchase.I waited a long time to write this review, as I kept hoping the issue would be fixed but after 7 months it hasnt been. I have purchased 2 washers and 1 Fridge for our rental properties from Bill at World Famous Appliance. The washers work as they should but the fridge has been nothing but a problem.The first fridge was delivered the first week of February and was broken from the start. The piece that connects to the water line for the ice maker was cracked, so when we hooked it up, water poured onto the floor. I contacted Bill immediately and it took many unanswered calls and texts to get a repair scheduled. Then, the fridge stopped cooling entirely. A repairman was finally sent, and they decided to replace the fridge. This process took 2 months even though the fridge was broken from day 1.Unfortunately, the second fridge that was delivered in April was also broken from the start. The water line to the ice maker was broken, the freezer didnt cool enough to keep ice cream frozen, and tons of water collects in the bottom of the fridge. If you move the fridge at all, water floods onto the floor. I have contacted them by phone/text/Facebook Messenger multiple times. Occasionally Ill get a response saying that a repair will be scheduled but it never seems to happen. It is now Mid-September and were still without a truly working fridge. Its really disheartening, as I wanted to support this local business.If the problem gets resolved, I will update this review.

Bought a dryer that had to be replaced a couple weeks after I got it. I got the replacement a few days later. The replacement started making a really loud noise about a month later. I texted to let them know. I received a call back and was told that the replacement dryer did not come with an warranty and that she would talk to the guy to see what could be done and I never heard anything from them. Two weeks later my dryer isn’t working at all

My 70 year old mother bought a fridge and stove from World Famous Appliance last week under the terms they would DELIVER the items and TAKE AWAY are old ones. Well the guys just left both the fridge and stove she purchased in her driveway Friday to be rained on. Before I could get to her house to drag them into the garage by myself Ill add they got drenched and I HURT my BACK severely.. She lives on a big hill and we explained this to the owner when we purchased these items and the guy said quote We do this every day, no problem we got this. WORLD FAMOUS APPLIANCES LIKES TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY ON FIXED INCOMES AND NOT DO THERE JOB.. So if you support people WHO SCAM OUR SENIOR CITIZENS then I would definitely recommend buying from WORLD FAMOUS APPLIANCES.. Taking advantage of the elderly is the lowest of low......!!!! Your a liar sir this is Elderly Abuse it was a verbal agreement that you would move the new appliances in the house and take the old ones.... My sister got a fridge from them and it was terrible service. First, she ordered a white fridge. Then they called 2 days later saying she needs to just buy a new one, so she ordered a black one. They spray painted white handles black, showed up 2 hours late and wouldn’t bring the fridge inside, All I’m saying is, don’t buy from this company. They’re pretty terrible

After paying for a refrigerator, it took two weeks to get a non working box brought to our home. Service was one visit , a joke .90 day Warrentee is an absolute farce. Many promises to replace the junk he sold never happened. We have a 90 day warrentee that was never fulfilled. Just Bill false promises and lies. He stole our money , be warned, dont let it happen to you as well.

What a nightmare! We purchased a refrigerator in May 2019 to have delivered in June 2019. 1st delivery canceled because of truck issues. Finally received delivery and the refrigerator would not turn on. They would not send someone to look at it. After 2 weeks and numerous calls, they delivered a spare refrigerator for use while the other one was repaired. Again after numerous calls and texts, they told us to come and pick out another refrigerator. Setup delivery, it was canceled. After a week, the third refrigerator was delivered on September 14, 2019 with no freezer handle. It had a handle in the showroom. They said the handle had been ordered. It is now October 15, 2019 still no handle. Beware of this so called company.!!

They are very good with people and they know what they are doing, they are always there to help people when needed and they are the best people to count on when you need work on or new appliances i recommend everyone to go to them.

Buyer beware. This place is NOT the place to buy anything. They give you a 30 day warranty that is worth the paper in your bathroom that has been used!!! They take forever to get ahold of, and when you do get ahold of them they give you the run around. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, I cant say it enough!!!!!
