They are the only pool company input area that will service an above ground pool. We hire them each year to open, maintain then close our pool. Our pool was scheduled to be open almost 3 weeks ago. The job is only partially done and we’re still not able to use our pool. They don’t return phone calls or make excuses as to why they can’t finish the job. We pre-paid for the full summer service. It is now June 4th and we can’t go swimming yet. Just do the job we paid you to do and quit making excuses..

Over charging people in hard economic times. Will never patronize this store ever again!

Used to have some great employees and never had issues in over 10 years but bought a cover and the tightening piece was broken and cant get a person on the phone or to call me back. My schedule makes it hard for to get there when open .

It has been 2 weeks since my pool liner shredded. Less than 2 years since it was installed along with brand new pool. So far, I have not heard from anyone in regards to the warranty of my liner or about installing a new one. I was told that they just cant find a new liner. I however found a liner no problem. So had to pay $400 for new one and still...no contact from holiday pools and spa. Was toldDave would be there Sunday but of course he wasnt. Then I was assured dave would call me tuesday morning before he went to maintanence other pools( not mine of course). Its now thurs and still not 1 word from Dave. Was there last week and spoke with Arianna. She did give me few items to patch pool. However, the rip is 2x size of patches and wont work. This all stems from poor installation from sub contractors they use. Before ordering liner I needed to know size of pool. Was told Arianna would call me ASAP with size...3 days later still no word so I had to physically go there just to get correct size!!! Quick to take money tho.avoids customers at all costs when it comes to correcting a situation that was caused by them! After years of loyal patronage these people have no qualms just IGNORING the entire situation. See how I attempted to patch..but just wont work. Also see outside of pool where all the sand has washed out into my yard. UPDATE Was told theyd have contractor install liner jul y 13th for $750!! Had no choice. So by 130 on the 13th no one showed up. Contractor called me at 630pm. Had no idea what I was talking about. No one scheduled appt for us. So ARIANNA LIED. my dads a US vet plus front line worker..he drives truck from NY to FL..and for him to be treated that way is unacceptable! Was flat out lied to by this store. GO TO OLLIES OR LESLIES FOR POOL SUPPLIES. THEYRE CHEAPER

Great local store to grab supplies in season with better product options then the big box stores. Dave and Dean have been opening and closing my pool for the past three years and I’ve been very pleased with their service. Family owned and genuinely good people that care. Keep up the great work guys!

Went there on a Monday to get a price go back on a Thursday to pay they won’t except the price they gave me that I have in writing from them and they were like oh well. I was supposed to have the service done tomorrow and now I’m screwed

I love going to this place and I always have but if your hours say 530 closing in 15 minutes early during the height of pool opening season is a little unacceptable. Especially when there was a second customer that was there 10 minutes prior and came back to return a part that was the wrong one and he couldn’t get his project started so overall I’ll change my review once any of that changes

Holiday Pools (Jay specifically) have been helping us take care of an older pool that we inherited when we bought our house for 2 years. He is always available, responsive and kind. Weve made some serious missteps as first-time pool owners and he has taught us so much. Weve worked with a lot of companies maintaining our large home and expansive yard & pool area and never have we encountered people who we trust more. They never try to make a dollar when it isnt needed - they genuinely want to help people and save their customers money when possible. THIS is customer service at its best.

The staff at Holiday Pools are friendly and knowledgable. When I bought my house three years ago and opened my pool up for the first time, I had no clue what I was doing. I wasnt even sure what type of filter I had. The staff taught me everything about my system from the pictures I showed them on my phone. They continue to help me anytime I need anything. Thanks so much!!!

These people are great. We needed an unusual valve during a pool renovation and they had it right there in stock. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. We definitely have a new pool store.

Poor customer service. They seem happy to make the sale, but as soon as they have your money, you are too much trouble. I recommend only small purchases. They cant wrap their heads around the concept of service after the sale

Just moved into my house a few months ago and Holiday pools has gone above and beyond to teach me the ins and outs of owning a pool :) The service guys are very knowledgable and just did an amazing job closing my pool! Looking forward to next season to have a full summer with it

I had them install a new filter for my IG Pool. After 1 month it stopped working and they refuse to fix it! I was worried after it was installed as it looked like real shoddy workmanship, the job was sloppy and it had water leaking out of the pipes from day 1, its amazing how they do not care at all. There crew is very inexperienced, they just wanted to get it installed as quick as they could to collect my money and get outa dodge. These guys are a bunch of crooks dont get taken by them, take your business anywhere else.

Always friendly and willing to help. Today they went above and beyond helping get the proper parts I needed.

Worst pool opening EVER! Took $255.73 out of my account 4 days before they were scheduled to come 6/2/16 to put pump on the cover to remove all water. That was $50 to do that. Not Done. The next day they were to come at 1 p.m. I took half a day off from working - no show from pool place until I called to a young person with several guys in the background talk! I then said please cancel and refund my money. Then the girl changes her story - they will come today and get all the water off the cover and continue to have it open. I said no - just cancel and refund please. A gentlemen in the background speaks up and says - let me talk to her. He procedes to say the same thing - well come over right now and do the job. You dont have to be there. To which I replied, yes I dont want anything damaged and I need to make sure its done properly. I usually do it myself, but recently had surgery and can not do it this year. Please cancel. He argued until I gave in. Three guys come 30 minutes later. One to watch, one to scoop up the water with a bucket off the cover - risking tearing the mesh cover by almost falling in. Wheres the pump?? For $50??? I had already placed my filter on the platform - they just had to lubricate it, connect the hoses with the clamps and start it up. Adding DE when it starts. They broke a clamp - replaced it. Hooked up the hose to fill the pool. The water level was not high enough to start the filter, but the water from the discharge hose filled the filter. Then they proceed to put 2 and half gallons of liquid chlorine into the pool in one spot. One guy brushed the bottom to one side. When I asked how much should go into my 15 diameter x 4 height pool. The response was - we put 2 and half gallons for above ground pools and 5 gallons in in ground pools. A blatant disregard for proper pool chemical distribution. Then they left. Cover was filthy and rolled up against my shed. Pool ledge was never cleaned. Started the filter for a minute and then gave me directions to start it up when the level comes up. It took approximately 1 hour to sloppily take off a cover. They asked how much DE goes into the filter to start it up - I said 4 lbs. They put 4 scoops of DE in my pail for me to do it because it comes with the price. WHAT A DISGRACE!!! I will NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICE NOR WILL I USE THEIR CHEMICALS. Be forewarned. They are a rip off.

They set me up with the worst pool installer in NJ he was rude i had to tell him off because he started cursing at me they had to come out three times to fix what they should have done right the first time.
