Absolutely beautiful! We had the service for my life partner at Blake-Doyle Funeral Home last month, it was more than what I ever expected. Tara and the team provided warmth and attention to detail from the first day we walked in. The day of the service they continued to care for us and ask if there was anything we needed, water, tea coffee..... I have been too several services in my life and I have never felt so cared for than at Blake-Doyle Funeral Home. They also, personalized the rooms to display my partners interests. We went to three places that day to find the perfect place for the love of my life and the perfect send off for him, as he deserved the best! Blake-Doyle was the most beautiful inside and we were all greeted with a smile, warmth and sincerity. They are the best hands down!!! Thank you to the whole team. I am at peace knowing he was honored through his transition thanks to Tara and the team, it couldnt have been any better!

Barbara at Blake-Doyle served as a trusted friend during the heart-breaking experience of the loss of my father. She took time with us to ensure all details were reviewed, her demeanor was sincere, and she helped us iron out some last minute details that required some soul searching. Being a chaplain / spiritual care provider, I deal with end of life issues far more than most. I recently was in a situation where I was the POA for someone with no living relatives who passed unexpectedly right before a holy holiday season. Fortunately my friend had made her end of life arrangements in advance; I just had to call Blake-Doyle Funeral Home. It was my first experience with them, but I have never been involved with a funeral parlor that gave such extraordinary care overseen by Barbara DiBuono! She was professional, compassionate and demonstrated a sincere desire to serve. Barbara gave quality attention to every detail, which included many details that are usually tended to by family, or myself (as pastoral care provider to my clients). She could tell that I was overwhelmed by the upcoming seasonal demands and my own grief, and expedited the date of the service to not conflict with the upcoming holidays.In all my years as a chaplain I have neither officiated nor attended an end of life memorial where the funeral parlor was so adept and engaged. Barbara had me write down a list of the departeds favorite songs, text recent photos, drop off old photo albums and items of decor from her home... then she put together the slide show accompanied by music. She also prepared the information for the handouts and picked the perfect photo (with our approval) for the brochure and memorial cards. The room was beautifully decorated with our friends memorabilia so that all who attended experienced a sense of her presence with us!Barbara did an excellent job in giving Dignity Memorial Care above and beyond at no extra charge. Even the provided acknowledgment cards were personalized, and a week later in the mail I received a beautiful memorial book created by the funeral parlor, and including many of the pictures and information shared at the service, along with a disc of the slideshow and music. What a precious holiday gift! I cannot more highly recommend this establishment; they have risen the bar on my expectations. Thank you Barbara for being such a blessing and comfort to us, and Im sure many others in times of need and grief!

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. They are the absolute worst!!! It started when they never called me back after leaving a message with their answering service. Then Jim screwed up my moms name and blamed ME for giving him the wrong information, in our initial visit. In that same initial visit, where Im supposed to making preliminary decisions about my moms memorial service, he spends an hour lecturing me about different things - less than 48 hours after my moms very sudden passing. Needless to say, I didnt need that. Then they screwed up my moms date of birth, not to mention a slew of other things. After that, they charged me $3400 for an hour service in a filthy, dirty viewing room. It was horrible. I cant tell you how many people said how awful the service was and that I was overcharged, to which I wholeheartedly agree.My moms employer offered to pay for the service but pulled out, apparently. Did they bother to notify me? Absolutely not. They sent it to collections without ever trying to obtain payment from me. A payment I would, and will, gladly make. When I called to rectify the situation, I spoke the the evilest woman, aka, their receptionist. During that 15+ minute phone call, she laughed at me, called me a liar, psycho and many other names. She told me I was crazy, refused to take any information from me and kept saying blah blah blah. When I told her I was coming down to speak with Eric, the manager, and pay the bill, she threatened me and said she called the cops. I was floored! I couldnt believe this woman. She refused to take my number or to tell Eric to call me back. After I called Dignity Memorial (which is another nightmare to deal with) and left a million message with Blake-Doyles answering service, Eric finally called me back. He told me he was sorry and not to pay the bill because he was going to resubmit it to my moms employer and pull it out of collections. He felt it was unnecessarily placed there and felt it warranted removal. I told him that if, for whatever reason, the company didnt pay for it please let me know and I would gladly take care of it. He said I absolutely will. A few months go by and I dont hear anything from them. I thought it was paid or still pending. Well, last Thursday night I received a notice in the mail from the same collection agency stating I was now severely delinquent. I almost exploded, I was so mad. It appears that he never pulled it from collections, like he promised. Now I have this black mark on my near perfect credit. All because these people lied and didnt do what they promised. Anyway, I immediately called Eric on his cell phone and asked him to call me. In that message, I told him what he needed to do. He has yet to call me, a week later. I have called Dignity Memorial 7 or 8 times, now, and have yet to receive a call back. I was told to call billing. They didnt know anything. They kept transferring me or putting me on hold. After 45 minutes on the phone with them, I was no further along then when I started. Each person told me they couldnt help me or told me to deal directly with the funeral home. Yeah, the one that never calls me back and threatens to arrest me. Such wonderful customer service, ya think?At this point, Im so fed up with both these companies. I cannot tell you how much I regret using their overpriced, sub-par services. They are rude, uncaring and extremely unprofessional.DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!! THEY ARE A NIGHTMARE THAT DOESNT GO AWAY....EVER!!
