I was very satisfied but recently I made two separate appointments for full service on my car including all four tires changed major maintenance to the engine and was told that will take several days I need a car to go to work I had to takeoff work two separate days they knew I needed a loaner the first time they couldn’t provide it I change the date The second time I was five minutes from my appointment and I got a call saying they did not have a Loaner car To me this is bad service especially for a customer he’s been going there for several years with two cars spent thousands of dollars if anything they should’ve paid for a loaner I am now looking for another auto service

The people who work in Matthey are life savers, their the best. The problem was found out by them in no time. I tell anyone who needs work on their car take it to Mattheys. Wonderful group of people who works there Just like to say thank you so very much.And theres one person who I say is on top is Mr Rich.

I kept hearing a noise in my front end whenever I hit a bump in the road. Chris at Matthey was able to pinpoint the issue while doing a complete digital inspection. It’s all fixed and quiet now! The digital inspection is super cool too. I now have a total picture of my vehicle’s health. They returned my car cleaned inside and out. It hasn’t looked this good since I bought it!

Initially called on March 30, spoke with Rich and explained that my truck just didnt feel right and if they could do a full and complete check (bumper to bumper) and let me know what was wrong. Dropped my truck off on April 2, received my quote on April 5. At first review it was rather alarming and took my breath away, for the estimate was more then the value of my truck. After having Rich talk me off the ledge, I took another day to determine what I was going to do. I addressed the primary deficiencies from their estimate and had the work done, picked my truck up on April 7. When I picked up Rich was there, as was Michelle, both very nice people. My truck was cleaned (inside and out) which was very cool, and nine days from picking it up its definitely riding better then it was, however Im going to give it another two weeks to see how its holding up. Should something still seem off I will be calling them back to see if theyll honor the work (I dont see why they wouldnt). My opinion, theyre astronomical in pricing (I checked around with other people in the industry), BUT good work isnt cheap and cheap work isnt good. So you can go here and get FIRST CLASS treatment from cradle to grave (they made me feel like my 2004 truck was a 2021 E Class Benz) and have the peace of mind that what was addressed was in fact fixed, or go somewhere else, pay significantly less and not have the assurance that what was supposed to be done to your vehicle was done. The way Matthey provides their quotes is absolutely exceptional, intuitive, and leaves NOTHING for interpretation. First class treatment, high quality work, very expensive. Thats my honest take, and yes, I will be back in the future for any additional needs for my truck. Thanks again to a great team of people👍🏻

Was greeted with a “good morning” and smiles all around. The manager came out and introduced himself and personally took my car back to the shop. They did a great job at a fair price. First they are not cheap. However, I am willing to pay for the level of service I have received. This will definitely be my go to mechanic from now on. Just know, good work isnt cheap and cheap work isnt good.

My poor baby had what I thought was a brake problem-turned out to be gas line and brakes-they told me it was more to repair than the car is worth. They let me hold it there until I could get someone to pick it up for a quick sale. They didn’t charge me saying that they didn’t do anything! Thank you Rich and Melissa! I made a last minute call to try to get fit in for the next day and Kevin was nice enough to fit me in for an installation of my exhaust. Rich was extremely nice throughout the whole ordeal as I spoke with him a couple times. The customer service here is so good and they even cleaned the inside and outside of my car which I wasn’t expecting. 10/10

Very impressed with the service here! They were very descriptive over the phone and on the invoice with the issue my car was having. Did not try to sell me on anything more than what I needed, and had different quotes ready for me regarding parts. They also wiped down the interior of my car, which was a nice surprise. They just let me know the issues and the price. I brought my car in that morning and it was ready by the evening.

Not only did Matthey perform an oil change, they also texted me a detailed report of maintenance items and other issues that they categorized as routine vs urgent. The thing I liked most about Matthew Automotive is how fast they got to work on my car. They regarded my time as valuable and started to work on it immediately. This was my companies Two Men And A Trucks First visit to Matthey Automotive. They were able to come and pick up and deliver back our truck when it was done. They were asked to do a preventive maintenance on our Ford F650. They checked our truck and then sent me a link showing issues and non issues with the truck.They explained what needed to be done and what could wait. Which I was very thankful for. You know when you enter the front door, this shop is different. The office was clean and the staff was very pleasant and informative. They did their digital vehicle inspection report with pics. and brief explanation of whats shown in the pic. .They sent me the link to review it. ts really great to see what the tech. Sees and have a better understanding of what the report is telling you. This place is top notch.

Brought my 2011 Ford Focus in bc my air wasn’t working. Obviously my car is older and after their inspection had quite a few things that need or should be fixed. Unfortunately at this time financially I couldn’t go ahead with all the repairs. Kevin still spent the time to go through the entire 47 point inspection with me and let me know what he deemed priority so when I did have the funds I would know where to start. The guys DID still fix my air conditioning and clean both the inside and outside of my car. They truly went above and beyond and I am very thankful. This car is the only car that works in our household so getting that air fixed was the best thing to me and they did it for a great price. I definitely recommend Matthey automotive to anyone needing car repair or maintenance.

First time service here 2/25/20, terrific customer service and vehicle service! Returned my 16 year old Jeep clean inside and out! Will be honest about needed repairs and provide photos to back it up, but will not pressure you into repairs you cant afford that can wait a bit. Great experience! Highly recommend.Updated for 2nd experience: needed a tire plugged, made an appointment a day ahead and was in and out in a half hour!

I only went in for a state inspection, but from the phone call to set the appointment all the way to receiving my inspected car back (with an included total outside and inside wash!) the whole team at Matthey was just incredible. Professional and personal service all around, to include coloring books, puzzles and candy canes for my little guy while they finished up. Will absolutely bring my vehicles back.

Matthey Automotive not only respects your property but respects your word too. I told them all I needed was an alignment and they gave me just that for a fair price too! On top of the service they provided, Matthey automotive was able to inspect my vehicle and provided a list of concerns they found. The biggest issue they found was that I was given the wrong tires by pep boys. I tow a lot with my truck and the tires pep boys had installed would have been obliterated if I drove with heavy weight. Fortunately, Matthey automotive provided clear instructions and a note on how to handle the issue with pep boys. Pep boys admitted to their mistake and fixed everything while also reimbursing me for the inconvenience. It’s safe to say that Matthey automotive prevented a serious accident for me and without them, my upcoming vacation could have taken a serious turn for the worse. I will continue to use Matthey Automotive as my primary mechanic for all of my future truck repairs.

I had heard great things about Matthey on my town FB page so gave them a call when I had a slow leak in my tire and needed it patched. It was a Friday and they were able to fit me in between appointments so I wouldnt have to wait over the weekend. Turned out I needed a new tire. They actually rolled the old tire in so I could see where a big metal thing had impaled itself in the tire and explained how it could not be repaired. They gave me options for tires and the pricing so I could make a decision which tire I wanted and were able to go pick one up for me. They had it changed in no time and I was set for the weekend! I recently purchased new tires at this location. The service was fast, the quality outstanding ( felt like it was a new car), but the best part was the customer service. All the employees were very nice and the managers in the waiting room were very knowledgable and always updated me on the process especially Kevin who helped me the entire time.

Great place, I brought my work van in to be fixed while I was off so I didnt miss work. They not only fixed it, but fixed it for less money then I had originally thought. To top it off, they even washed and detailed the van! I will definitely be bringing all of our vans here from now on. What a great experience!

They helped me bring my old MR2 Spyder back to life on a no pressure timeline, and helped me sort the long list of necessary repairs. They didnt try to talk me into blowing out my budget. Friendly and professional.Oil change and a complete inspection with photos of every part inspected emailed to me along with recommendations and a car wash, they even provided me with a loaner car so I could get to work.The Dealership told me I needed a new motor mount at $450.00, my Matthey Automotive technician found no such problem.Thank you Matthey Automotive!

A great local place to have our Prius serviced! Mechanics were thorough and trustworthy.

We needed a special suspension for our 1997 minivan. Im disabled and we installed a new rack to carry my electric wheelchair. We called several auto places and NONE of them would even talk to us about a suspension. When we called Matthey Automotive they were not only willing to talk to us they looked at our van and told us theyd be happy to help us. We were thrilled! They made sure to keep us up to date at each stage of the install and even told us about some other small issues they found. They didnt try to pressure us into fixing the small issues - they just wanted us to know for our safety. We were so impressed we asked them to take care of the most pressing extra repairs. They did the suspension & the extras in 2 days time. We had the best experience weve ever had getting our car worked on. Matthey Automotive is now our family auto repair place.

Took my car into the shop 2 days ago, knowing that I needed 2 tires and an oil change. I knew there would also be more needed but unsure as to what and/or if I could afford. The team at Matthey were awesome from start to finish. 1. While they worked on car. They took me to work. 2. After checking out the car the owner, called we went through the list of all repairs needed on car, some needing immediate attention, while others could wait alittle. He then prioritized the items in terms of order of needing to be addressed and the costs. When immediate repairs complete they cane and picked me up. All pricing was fair and overall experience was great! I highly recommend!

Beware, there are two auto repair shops in the same building. When dropping a vehicle ensure that you ask the clerk which company it is. My frost time here I accidentally went into their competitors door.

Id never come here again. They misdiagnosed a common problem (was charged $125 for that anyway), then was overcharged by several hundred dollars to complete the first repair. For the second service attempt, they said I needed an alignment and several other repairs that were not needed whatsoever (all of this was verified by a different, trustworthy, reputable mechanic who wound up doing the work). I wanted them to be my go-to shop, but they lost my confidence and my business. I would not recommend them to anyone based on my experiences with them.
