I hate to give bad reviews but this place has the worst costumer service Ive ever experienced in my life. No exaggeration. We wouldve gladly continue to go to this gym for years to come but we just couldnt any longer for that reason alone. Anyone one whos not in management here is a massive pain to deal with and if you ask to speak to a manager, theyll say they dont really care an associate has said EXACTLY that to us and didnt even try to reach out to a manager (one of MANY frustrating instances). A couple of positives, the management is very nice, the childcare is also great! The equipment, classes, instructors are all wonderful. Clean well kept place. I wouldve given 3 to 4 stars because of these positives but the service is so bad that I could not give more than 1. Its not like we ask for much. Its just that if you have to deal with them for any reason at all, they have such an attitude and are so unnecessarily difficult and rude. Everyone I talk to that goes here is also sick of it. A couple have cancelled too and others I know are planning to soon. Cant express enough. Dont go here!

This gym is the best. Their prices are better than the ones in Dallas, they have a great amount of parking and a better facility overall. It’s what a Life Time should be. The check in receptionists are always smiling and there’s always someone willing to help. I have forgotten my ring and multiple items a number of times in the locker and they have never been stolen - the staff will store it in a safe until you want it back. All of the staff is great. The steam room is the best - although it could be a little hotter.

Lifetime, as always, is the best gym to go to! With multiple locations around the city and country, the onyx membership is well worth the price. The atmosphere of the nicer gym combined with the amenities of the facility make for an awesome experience every time! A plethora of exercise equipment! From yoga studios and personal training to all of the best resistance training equipment and the friendliest staff, I have not been to a better gym. Also the bathrooms are extremely clean and well stocked with everything you need. You never have to come to one of these gyms and see machine equipment not working, if something does happen to break it is fixed very quickly. Theres also an indoor spa facility that is an extra charge, I think. And theres a little cafe that offers all sorts of great food, and nutrition supplements. Have you ever been to a Lifetime, you need to experience it at least once. This gym is going to ruin workout experiences for you at other places. No place comes close for the price!

I absolutely love LifeTime Fitness. I go every day, to the point that the staff knows me by name. I honestly didn’t know what to make of that but I find it endearing.They keep the equipment and the gym floor clean. Someone is always wiping on something when I’m there. The staff is friendly, as they make the best effort to make your experience personal.My only hangup is that there are so many kids running. I’m sure their parents are somewhere near, but if you’re not tethered to them, I feel you’re not with them. I get nervous as they can fall at anytime unsupervised.

I hadnt tried the group classes but the place is amazing. Plenty of stuff to try to make your daily workout less boring. Working out your arms, try the wall climb. Whole body, but need to take it easy try swimming. Different cardio, try some sports like a around of basketball,volleyball or tennis. I still get a good workout and I havent did the same workout twice in a month. The kids love their lessons and their private lesson option has been a life saver for my son with autism! They really care about their students! The one less star is for their 30 day notice for changing plans.(regular program) the swimming was easier to work with cause they make ways for missed sessions.

I joined this club about a month ago. I have really enjoyed my experience so far. The staff and trainers are great. The Alpha Group Strength class (and the trainer Jackson) are awesome! The equipment and wet area are always clean and properly maintained. Highly recommend this club.

Lifetime is one of the better gyms Ive been to but some of these guys need their gym memberships revoked. Just the way they leave their towels all over the place and on the floor. Probably bc theyre used to having mommy always cleaning and picking up after them

My boyfriend and I sold our at home gym equipment to become a part of a fitness community, which we have found here at Lifetime. The classes are great, nice equipment and plenty to do! The staff is helpful and keeps everything clean.

Update: I cant stress how much I hate this place I could write a book about it. We know you see these reviews yet you stay silent like cowards hiding behind a screenThey sent me a magazine I never asked for and told me if I dont want to receive it I can opt out and not be charged. Although I was never charged this is sneaky and takes advantage of the fact that they have your billing info. I already pay $200+ monthly but it aint enough for you leeches is it?

I love lifetime. Nice to see the mask mandate is removed. My first time at this one. Its a nice gym, but not the typical onyx quality. That part was disappointing.

Excellent facilities. Well kept and safe. I love the resort style look and feel. The only issues were I didnt care for the overweight, hairy guys walking around the locker room naked. It was mentally distressing and caused blindness for several hours. Its just not right. There should be some laws preventing this. Also if youre one of those pompous idiots who likes to speed in the parking lot coz you want attention, slow down before you kill someone. You might have a hormonal imbalance.

Very personable, outgoing, and informative. Whether you are just starting your fitness journey, or a competitive bodybuilder or maybe going through corrective exercise. Go do some training with her and you’ll see that she will help you change your life for the better!

My daughter works out here and they always allow me to be a guest when I visit her. Love the place!

I signed up around April 2020, and left August 2020. By July I had spent a total of about $2,200 at the club on personal training, membership fees, cafe, spa, etc.. Out of nowhere with no announcement to prepare I was told at the door I could not come in unless I signed a document to pay $40 more per month to come in. After requesting to speak to a manager I had to wait nearly an hour only to be told I could not come in, even though I had been ever since I signed up. As well to cancel my membership I was told I could not cancel there, and had to drive to Garland (+45 drive) to cancel my membership, and workout from then on.The overall literacy, professionalism, and demeanor of this particular gym in Colleyville has never been good. But now it is just unacceptable, I have left and came back to this gym multiple times solely for the convenience.I am at La Fitness now, and with 1 month paying for Lifetime Fitness I paid for 3 years unlimited access to ALL Clubs. If you are thinking about joining Lifetime Fitness in Colleyville particularly, I HIGHLY do not recommend it. Aside from poor customer service, the showers are filthy, everything in the cafe is highly over priced, dont sign for the basketball courts because at the only time you can use its being overran by a kids camp, you can bring 1 guest in every 60 days even though youre paying 4 times the average gym cost and only accessible to 35% of what you paid for without getting charged for something else.Hopefully, this message gets through to someone that being greedy for $40 lost you $630 monthly. After canceling, I had to drive 1 hour every day to use the gym I paid for. I just do not understand. If I could give less than 1-star I would.

Acquiring membership was seemless. Candace was a joy to work with. Lifetime seems have made the necessary adjustments to keep everyone safe with the new normal. Facility has everything you could want and more. Staff was super helpful. The pool supervisor during the tour offered to change and happily give my daughter her swimming level assessment. I was super impressed. Updates to follow.

I had an issue at this gym that put my personal safety in question. The management admitted there was absolutely a definite concern and I was not the first to experience it, but they did nothing to help me. They wanted to ignore the situation. Therefore, I will ignore them...I left and went to a different gym, not interested in a place that does t care about the well-being of their members.

Great! Dont have to wait for machines at all. Very well organized; cardio separate from free weights. Team members have been great! They were completely accommodating in last minute tour of huge facility. Kids club, my 7 & 8 yr old loved. Dont pass up, price is a little higher than most gyms but so worth it!

Best lifetime in my opinion. Super clean, all equipment works, sauna is hot, great variety of free weights and machines.

Highly overrated and overpriced. The commission structures provide incentives for predatory personal trainers. Constant fees and upselling are the core culture. All surrounding city rec centers now have very similar facilities, much better prices and friendlier environments.

All the Lifetime Facilities are A+. Great location. Colleyville hits the gym hard!! 2nd time at this location. From San Antonio in town for weekend.

I’ve been to several Lifetime Fitnesses and this location was my favorite. First of all, Lifetime is pretty consistent across their club levels and this club was no different. The staff at this location is extremely friendly and makes the experience very pleasant. Also, the members at this location are also friendly, respectful and give you your space. I think this maybe just the vibe in Colleyville, people are very nice and respectful!The gym has great equipment, a ton of classes and it is extremely clean! It was never over crowded, no matter what time I went which is a plus for me!The indoor and out door pool had normal chlorine levels, I’m a swimmer and didn’t notice an overly chlorinated pool as some other reviewers have commented. I always had a lane for myself, inside and out.If you’re looking for an upscale gym that is not overly crowded I would recommend this location if you’re in the area!

Super clean, super friendly staff even a lot of the people that visit are friendly and talkative/supportive. They get pretty busy during the obvious peak hours. Monday-Friday 5-6:30 and Sunday mornings around 11 are pretty busy. Late nights are awesome when its not packed. Gym equipment is clean, they have tons of stuff to help with your workout (jump ropes, resistance Bands and cords, kettle bells, etc).

I feel like management is not interested in retaining older customers. Management in general has gone downhill since the reopening, questions and problems are met with rudeness and derision. This Lifetime needs an attitude makeover and a reminder that we PAY to come here!! I have been a member since 2007, and the current management team is the worst I, and many others, have experienced!

If you are worried so much about the coronavirus, then close your doors, stay at home, and enjoy your bankruptcy. People cannot work out without being able to breathe. The managers behavior was nothing short of despicable and unprofessional.

Being told to wear a mask while working out is ignorant. Our bodies need 2x the oxygen intake when we work out with masks on. Did the American colonies comply with the British Redcoats?

I have been a member of Lifetime Fitness since 2010. I was an employee of Lifetime Fitness for 2 1/2 years as well. And stayed a member for the remainder of the past couple years. I pay for three people each month which comes out to be $350. I asked to cancel my membership due to the mask enforcement on the floor (I cannot breathe while working out and wearing a mask). And it is against the law and the Constitution to force someone to wear a mask. When asking to cancel my account, I was told by a manager that I was not required to wear a mask while working out but if I was within 6 feet of someone in the common area it was suggested to. SUGGESSTED, not enforced. A week in at the Lifetime Fitness Colleyville location, I was approached by one of their towel employees and was yelled at multiple times for not being considerate. Then I was followed and harassed throughout the building by the same employee. I also then was followed by one of the managers telling me I needed to wear a mask even though no one was around. He continued to harass both myself and my boyfriend through the following weeks for this very issue. Following this, one day I went in and One of their employees body checked me and my boyfriend. Followed my boyfriend into the men’s bathroom and started a fight which led to the cancellation of our membership. Upon canceling our membership out of shock and bewilderment from the harassment of Lifetime Fitness’s employee, the managers of the branch hid in their offices and would not speak to me about the situation that occurred. I’ve never been so disgusted with a gym and their customer service in my life. Sad, because I have been a member of the Lifetime Fitness in Colleyville for a very long time and I am sad I have to leave due to this poor hospitality and customer service.You could say it was bullying on the management and employee side as well. Seeing that most every person in the gym was not wearing a mask while working out or wearing a mask while in the common areas, however their membership was not canceled. And they were not harassed by the employees or the management. Looks to me like it was selection by the management employees on which people they wanted to pick on. Along with this, I ask that my sisters account not be canceled and be kept open because she did not want to quit. They moved forward with canceling her account since she is my sister. They then would not refund her tennis lessons she had just paid for and told her she can find a instructor elsewhere. Again I am very sad with the poor hospitality and customer service from this gym.

This gym is the WORST. They will actually call the police on you AND revoke your membership if you remove your mask while you work out. What an embarrassment. With all the talk about high risk areas, the gym should be the safest yet this gym chooses fascism over freedom. I will NEVER enter the doors of another Lifetime fitness ANYWHERE.

I actually give 0 stars; I was forced to give one to be able to post. Filing criminal trespass charges against a patron because he removed his mask before the manager thought it was appropriate is despicable. The manager in the video I watched was rude, disrespectful and condescending. Nothing more than a bully trying to impose her will upon others.

The gym is spacious and has a ton of machines and equipment. Even during busy times, it doesn’t ever feel busy and there is hardly a wait to use an equipment.

Called for a membership and staff wanted to ignore my disability and dismiss my concerns! Very unprofessional

Been a happy and loyal customer of this gym, until I had my encounter with the manager Alycia. She was very disrespectful and rude. As I was trying to discuss the issues I was having with my account, she couldnt even give me the courtesy of looking at me and talking and was blatantly looking at the screen in front of her. At one point, she was even mocking me. I will be discussing my encounter with her as a whole to corporate. Absolutely appalled that a manager for a gym with this magnitude has such behavior.

After being in gyms for 20+ years Ive never encountered a personal trainer that I felt was qualified to teach me anything. My expectation is that a trainer should practice what they preach and be serious about their profession. Nick Christian, who trains clients typically at this location, is this type of trainer. After working with Nick for several weeks, I am rethinking the habits and methods that Ive learned for years. If you are serious about getting in shape, Id highly recommend Nick at Lifetime.

Their kids club is great, I would say I wish it were a bit more full on hours seeing how much we are paying. Amenities amazing, love towels, indoor pool area both for us and kids and hot tubs, weights are good, too. I do think they should get their equipment upstairs hooked to Wi-Fi!

Buyer beware! We were naive. Despite all the warnings we thought it couldn’t happen to us. But it did. We were completely ripped off. Once we discovered the dishonesty we confronted local management and then corporate. Completely ignored. Going to BBB tomorrow. Sad. Very sad.

To start with the good, this is the best all around gym if you want to do a lot of different things, and have kids youd like to include. Outside of that, they have a TON to improve on. Speaking of kids, the family locker room is supposed to be for families. There is countless people with no kids that use it as a short cut to get to the pool or outside. The worst is when youre in there with your kids and there is people using the bathrooms and showers with no kids. Talk about creepy. And they do nothing about it. All they say is Were sorry. Keep telling us because the more complaints we get the faster something is going to happen. What? Fix the problem! If you like to work out with any type of machines you will have plenty of options. They could use to cut some machines out and put more free weights. When its busy, forget about it.And worst of all is their customer service and communication. Weve had a couple promises broken that we were told when we signed up. Talk to them about it. I will let my manager know and they will call you to talk about it. No calls. Talk to them again about charging our credit card instead of using LT bucks like they said they were going to. I dont think you can use your LT bucks for that. Ill have my manager call you back. No call ever received.With the amount of money you spend you would expect much better service than is received. After we use up the LT bucks we got when signing up we may be looking elsewhere.

Great atmosphere, plenty of equipment, clean and spacious, all employees are polite and smiling. Coming here is my reward after a long day in front of computers. There is also the steam room; the added eucalyptus oil is a wonder when the weather is cold !

Seriously a scam, I canceled and then 4 months later I randomly get billed. Then they told me i can write a complaint and then I might get billed again because it will take longer than 30 days to process the complaint.

This is the exact opposite of planet fitness, you are constantly being judged, and I love it, makes me lift heavier.

Been going here for a couple of years now, done classes and have a trainer. Overall always a good experience.

When I lived closer to this location, just down the street, I would come here at nights. It is a big facility, really nice. I didnt have to wait for any cardio equipment and usually didnt have to for weight machines. I loved the hot tub and steam room. I would become a member again if I didnt live too far away.

Beware - membership cancellation should be easily done over the phone but it requires jumping through hoops...they make it much more difficult than it should be.

This gym has THE WORST in customer service. The employees are extremely RUDE! They talk over you, think they are better than you, and have no training what so ever in speaking with people. You would think for 80$ a month you would get at least some good encounters but no IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY! Yes they have some amenities but they are ALWAYS OVER CROWDED. And don’t bother complaining about anything, because FRANKIE one of the managers will call u to blame you and talk over you and call u a LIAR!For this extremely over priced “gym” you are better off saving your money and going to any of the many gyms around you who actually care about their customers who are spending their hardworking money on their gym. 0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Daryl was amazing, I’m from New York and had couple friends who wanted to try it out and he really helped us out. Daryl is the definition of southern hospitality really good experience my friend ended up getting a membership after definitely recommend it to every one amazing staff and environment.

The facilities at this location are excellent and even when its busy it doesnt feel TOO busy - the staff is really friendly as well. Only complaint is the original guy we signed up with lied about no contracts etc, we were VERY clear with him we wanted a month-to-month and he put us on a year contract. I recommend really reading the contract before signing it, dont just sign it in the office straight away. Its worth it just in case you think you might need to get out of it before your year is up or just to make sure you give the sale to someone whos honest with you. Their cancellation policies are pretty bizarre, so buyer beware. Its a nice gym to be stuck with though!

This club is great unless youre dealing with the management and/or child care center. The management never seems to have any real ways of fixing anything besides giving you the pathetic excuse of: Im sorry, theres nothing I can do. And the child care center workers seem to be more occupied with chatting it up with each other than engaging the children and making sure the babies arent hurt by the older children. I dont know how many times I walked in on toddlers/babies standing right in the way of where the doors could really hurt them and the workers were just laughing it up with each other and completely neglecting the toddler/babies! They need much better management at this gym for the price of the membership!

Even when it’s super busy there’s so much equipment that there’s always a way to get your workout in.The staff is ALWAYS cleaning locker rooms & weights rooms to assure the best service, thank you guys!If you’re looking for a gym & can afford the luxury (slightly pricey) this is definitely the one to go to.

Trying to cancel or put a membership on hold is the hardest thing. First you have to show up in person and can only be during certain times and on certain days. And if you try to call and talk to someone on the phone about canceling, they wont mention this. And anytime you call to check that the right person is there so you can do the cancellation paperwork, they will place you on hold for 10-15 mins. Then they will tell you that you can come in at any time and day to do the cancellation or hold. To put it mildly it was frustrating and I wish I had never started a membership with them.This is along with the problems that I had last summer when I put my daughter in the summer camp. I paid for her to have lunch provided, filled out the menu for her and turned it in. I packed her a few small snacks the first day, and when it was lunch time they told her in front of the other kids that they didnt have a lunch for her and she didnt pay, so the only thing she had to eat was the snack I packed her. No one called me about this, and they didnt mention this when I picked her up. I found out after she told me how embarrassed they made her feel when she tried to get a lunch. When I discussed this with them they said they must of misplaced her lunch paperwork and would fix the problem. I never got the promised refund for the lunch. But what made me the most irritated is that no one cared that she had nothing to eat, and she came home in tears because of it.
