Listen. I’ve cut my own hair for 26 years and do just fine. I tried Monique to be a little adventurous. She is even more amazing than her reviews. I felt like I should have tipped her way more than I could. She listens, she’s super nice, very confident and will give you exactly what you want. Every time I visit Dallas I’ll make sure I need a haircut!!

Good stylists actually listen to what you want out of your haircut. Plus it is a good place to get a nice close shave (Health Guidelines preventing shaves may be in place.)

Made a hair cut appointment 1 week ago, woke up 2 hours early to make the 10 am appointment. Drove from Irving to Colleyville and sign on door says, closed until further notice. No phone call nor notifications... I’m PIST!!! I need a HAIRCUT!!!!!The most aggravating part is, NO PHONE CALL canceling the appointment!!!!!

I’ve been going to Roosters for a couple years now. Love it. Nicole is great, she cuts my hair and my two sons. She’s professional, patient and we always get compliments on our hair when we are out and about. I recommended her to some friends and family who’ve all been happy with her service. Nicole was very polite, professional, and easy to talk to. She provided an excellent cut (listens well), and OUTSTANDING service. Not only was I very impressed with the cut itself, the additional services like the shampoo and neck massage were great! It was a great experience and this has definitely become my go to place.

Gotta say this is one of the worst experience I’ve had getting a cut...lady was brand new showed her a pic and she just started cutting with a 1...almost forgot to blend the fade???? She asked me at one point is this a good haircut.......I’m not a barber in fact it is why people come to u....the apparent owner stepped in but looking at it now it was too little too late looked nothing like the pic I showed her ...cut way to short on one side so I basically have a part comb over...would possibly return but never with her ...nice enough lady but I asked if she cut men’s hair before she said yeah all the time....okay...cut well??? In hindsight I should’ve stopped her and left to somewhere else...would’ve not proceeded if I knew she was new...the other barber was raising her eyebrows yet not saying anything ...still tipped 5 bucks anyways hope it doesn’t affect my job interview

I would have gave a - 10 but the lowest was 1. Never go to this place, i left with a burnt lip and a haircut i did not want. And mine is really easy.

Go see Nicole! She is the only person I trust to cut my hair and trim my beard. I moved away from the area and still to this day drive 45 minutes just to have her cut my hair. I have been going there for over a year now. Even had her cut my hair and take care of my groomsmen for my wedding. The service is always good and everyone is friendly. Definitely worth checking out!

Monique is the only person here I will trust with my beard. She was amazing! She took her time, she did a great job, and it was an amazing experience, and I wish it ended there....I came back and had another woman, and it was probably one of the worst experiences of my life. You could tell she didnt give 2 s^$*@ about me. She didnt take her time at all, and her first cut she cut way too deep on the right side (well now to grow that out again). She didnt even take the 2 secs to lean the chair back for the beard trim, she just made me break my neck holding it tilted back the entire time. All she did was complain about how terrible the day was, but sorry that gives you no excuse to take it out on me. Her haircut at least turned out great, but even that was not a good experience. It was constantly her jabbing my head while she buzzed some of it, 100% not caring about me just wanting to get the hair cut over with so she could move on with her day. Now I have to grow my uneven beard out again for the next month. Bust trust me, I will NEVER ask for anyone other than Monique EVER again.

I went into roosters a few weeks ago and was absolutely disgusted by my barber Ashley. The shop overall was very well organized and visually appealing, except my barbers work station. She was the only one available at the time and I was in a rush. She cut me off repeatibely while I was trying to explain what I wanted. She smelled of cigarette smoke. When I got home somehow the smell of cigarettes was in my hair. I was appalled. I would return to this barber shop under the condition that I had a different stylist. It was highly recommended, but do not let Ashley cut your hair.

Decided to get an upgrade from Great Clips, thought paying another $6 wont be too bad and I was right. The cut came out great! Could see this place being my barber shop.

HIGHLY recommend checking this place out. The Gentlemens Choice package was truly a treat. Staff is friendly and skilled. Environment is a lovely throw back to an older time.

Opens at 12pm on Sunday. I walked in at 12:04. Three customers including myself were in the building. Told there was an 1 1/2 hour wait. Thats just ridiculous. They are suppose to be a barber shop. You dont make appointments at a barber shop. Wont be back

Called to set up an appointment. The girl answers and says the could get me between 1pm and 1:15 pm. I ask her if it only took 15 minutes to do a hair cut and she says no actually it takes me a little longer.
