Sam’s Tree Service was great! We have a large oak tree in our front pasture that was damaged by a spring storm. My goal was to really only salvage it & make sure it was healthy, but Sam’s Tree Service made it pretty too, even after a large branch fell during the storm. On top of the quality care they provided to the tree, Sam’s crew worked surprisingly fast and was nice enough to stack the felled branches in a area where we could use it for firewood. We don’t have a ton of trees but we’ll be using Sam’s Tree Service for all our tree needs!

We were very impressed by the professionalism and quality of service we received from the folks at Sams Tree Service.We hired Sams Tree Service to remove a couple of trees on the fence line that were overgrown, as well as top our overgrown bushes that were growing into the power/cable lines along our fence.On the day Sam visited us to quote the job, he provided us a written estimate along with confirmation of insurance. He was both professional and knowledgeable and provided good information as to safety precautions the crew would take when working along the power line.On the scheduled day of the job, the crew arrived (early) several minutes prior the arranged time. They were all courteous and efficient in tackling the job. They also did an outstanding job on the cleanup afterward and everything was cleanly stacked curbside to be hauled away.Sams Tree Service provided both peace of mind and confidence in having the job done well and safely. Our palm trees did not survive the winter weather we had in February. Sams tree service came out and gave us a bid. The time came for them to come. The crew came on time and began preparing to remove the trees. I was surprised when they took precautions to not get debris in the pool. The work was done professionally and yet if we had questions we could ask. I would recommend this tree service. A job well done.

We have used Sams Tree Service on three different occasions and been extremely pleased with their work. They took down some massive trees in a professional and safe manner. They were efficient, timely, courteous, and safe. They have removed both living and dead trees for us on our property. On one occasion, they took down a huge hackberry, chopped it into sections, shredded it, hauled off the debris, and left our yard spotless. They have also removed some dangerously-leaning dead bois darc trees for us, as well as a huge ash. They even stacked the wood for us to split later. We would recommend them to others, and will call them again when we need more tree removal work done.

From start to finish, we were very impressed with the service provided by Sams Tree Service. Our neighbors recommended them to us, and we are very thankful for the referral. They were able to stop by and give us a quote even when we couldnt be home. They promptly provided the quote and their certificate of liability insurance (which other tree service providers either did not have or were not willing to provide). Their rates were reasonable, and we were able to schedule a date within a month and on the day before our bulk trash pickup. On the day we were scheduled, the crew was able to arrive several hours early. The crew removed 3 dead trees and pruned another tree. They were tidy, efficient, and left the grass and property unmarked by their activities. They left a very clean pile of tree debris at the curb, and because bulk picked up the trees the very next day, our grass was unharmed by the pile. All this to say, when we lived in Florida, we had many trees removed through the years, and always had some form of property damage afterwards. As such, we were very cautious when seeking referrals for a tree removal company, and Sams Tree Service proved to be the most professional tree removal service we have worked with. Ive used Sams now twice and Ive been very satisfied both times. I recommend them.First project: Got an immediate quote for stump removal, palm tree pruning, and tree removal --- work was scheduled quickly. When bad weather occurred and service had to be postponed, they were on top of it and quickly adjusted. Crew was friendly and professional. Sam took the time to answer many questions and provide tons of knowledge on trees in my yard. Work results were great --- see the photos.Second project: I had them remove the palm tree after it died as a result of the winter 21 storms. Sam came out twice (no charge) and assessed the tree. When it was determined it was dead, his team took the tree out with no issues. Sam gave good advice on how to cultivate some of the palm tree pups we still had.

Sams is a perfect five stars for a reason. Hired them to remove 16 stumps. Adam and Jedi did a fantastic job. They arrived on time did a site survey and got to work. They removed the stumps making sure they didnt damage any other foliage or sprinklers and totally cleaned up the area. It was really much more than I expected. So very professional and thorough. We needed some tree trimming and pruning. Sam came out to give us a (free) estimate in a timely manner, carefully explaining what was going to be done and what to expect, including tree health (post-trimming and the possible effects of extreme winter weather)--he was very knowledgeable. Estimated price seemed quite fair given the work involved. Scheduled time had to be rescheduled due to weather and the office reached out proactively to reschedule. The crew was actually able to come out a day before they were scheduled (again, office reached out to us prior to make sure that was OK). Five man crew arrived promptly (with the estimator to go over the job with us so everyone had their expectations set) and got to work! Hard-working bunch of fellows, including one who climbed a tree (w/ropes & safety harness) to get at areas inaccessible by other methods. Crew finished in about four hours, including neatly piling up debris at the curb for city collection the next day--in fact they left the property cleaner than when they arrived! The results were excellent and I have no hesitation recommending them. Well use them again.

I came home from work and one of my big trees was laying on the fence, my neighbors shed, and their big oak tree. I had to get it out fast, we could hear it crack as we stood looking at it! It was Friday at 4:15 p.m., who could I call? I was a mess. I called Sams Tree Service and they were out in 20 minutes! He called his crew and they were there in 30 minutes! The tree was removed in an hour and a half (they had to go to my neighbors yard too). They were fast, courteous, and reasonably priced. I will use them again. Awesome workmanship! The crew was prompt, polite, and professional!They removed a large red cedar from my backyard in approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. They neatly stored the trees dead limbs and trunk at the road for easy collection. Sam checked on the crew and charged exactly as he said he would. Sam came to give the estimate. He shared so much knowledge on what trees we have, proper care, when to prune, etc. The work crew arrived late in the afternoon and stayed until the work was complete. They worked quickly but carefully and clean up was immaculate. Great care was taken to avoid damage to the roof and the garden underneath one of the trees. Will most definitely hire them again.

Howdy Brazos valley!! Sam’s tree service is absolutely awesome!! We had a huge pine tree that died and I was so worried about getting it cut down. It was between our home and our neighbors house without any room to get any machinery. Well to my surprise Sam’s was able to take it down safely and for an extremely reasonable price. The crew that was sent to our home was able to climb the tree, roped off each limb one at a time to cut then lowered each piece to the ground. This was all accomplished by pure human power. Not to mention our kids enjoyed watching this process almost as much as my husband and I. Haha!! My point here is they did a quality job at a extremely reasonable price and were professional, punctual, knowledgeable and kid friendly. We have one more smaller tree that needs to be cut down and we will definitely be using Sam’s Tree Service for it as well. Thank you for your service!! Wish I knew how to post pictures.

Very happy with this crew of tree professionals. Prompt, courteous, thorough, competent, cleaned up all debris, and worked with me as we made adjustments on a multi-tree project that took two visits. I plan to call on them again after the leaves fall and make it easier to see what additional work needs to be done.

Called Sams to get an estimate about tree removal and it was a pretty easy process. Given the nature of the job I made a Saturday appointment and the crew showed up promptly at 8am and began the job. Rigging with an adjacent tree, they were able to get the crown down pretty fast. Then the remainder was taken down in small chunks. From start to finish the job took about two hours, including cleanup, and it looks pretty good. Should I again need any tree work done, Sams will be my first call.

I initially called Sam’s Tree Service for a quote because of all the good reviews I had seen on NextDoor. Following the phone call, Sam came out and toured the property with me. He answered all of our questions thoroughly and provided a quote on the spot (along with proof of insurance). On the promised date, Sam and a crew of four arrived a little early. Sam walked through the job with his foreman Ricardo, and the crew went to work immediately. The job they did exceeded my expectations. The trees were trimmed beautifully, with all of the branches and limbs going into a huge chipper machine. All of the debris was raked up and removed, and the crew even used a blower to clean up my front yard and rear deck. Except for the fact that my yard looks better than it did before, you can’t even tell they were here. We couldn’t be more pleased, and we won’t hesitate to call Sam’s Tree Service again when the need arises.

Sams Tree service is fantastic! Reliable, clean . We had a overgrown tree in the front yard over our roof and our neighbors tree was mostly hanging over our roof. Sams tree service was very reasonable and did a great job cleaning everything up.

Excellent experience. In over two decades of homeownership, Ive had a lot of trees trimmed. My experience with Sams was excellent. Sam came to provide the estimate, completely understanding the work to be done and explaining in detail how it would go, providing a well-written estimate. The crews showed up on time, working diligently. The work left the trees well-manicured and cleaned up - they are in a good place to grow and expand in the right way now. Rains caused delay on the stump grinding, but Sams team stayed on top of scheduling. I even appreciated how they put up screens during the grinding to contain the flying debris - not every stump grinder Ive used has done that.On top of this? His crews were always so kind, so pleasant. In fact, one of the trees we had removed was a magnolia. There were a couple fresh blooms and his crew trimmed the blooms and placed them in one of my wifes flower pots for her. That was a sweet gesture. :-)All in all, Sams has been a model of what top-notch work and customer service should be. I will happily continue to use them for my tree-management needs.

The crew was very professional. It was a big job taking down a couple of trees and all the pruning of the other trees. They cleaned everything up and took it all away. Very impressed.

Sams Tree Service is extremely professional and easy to work with. They came out to the house, quickly estimated the cost, and scheduled a day to do the work. They were able to fit us in several days ahead of the scheduled day, and it took them less than half a day to completely remove two trees and grind the stump of one of them. The trees were cut up and stacked very neatly by the street for pickup. The post work cleanup was superb. I highly recommend them!

They are very professional and nice, and they are insured too. The equipment they have is very nice. And the men who do the work do a complete and amazing job. They raked up tree debris, blew the small debris off the concrete surfaces, and left it in better shape than when they arrived. The trees they took down were tricky in the potential for falling on a neighbors property, but they managed it well. Id definitely use them again.

I am not an expert on tree cutting services but I really appreciate the work they did. The workers showed up, I pointed them to the trees and they got to work. Got all the dead limbs down and overgrown branches cut, got everything hauled out to the road very seamlessly. Would definitely use them again for any other trees.

They came out to give us an estimate within a day of calling them, then had a crew working on site an hour after we accepted their bid. I used Sams Tree Service for removing a dead tree, Trimming my oak, and removing a down limb that was hanging over a fence. They worked with me to fit me in to remove the down limb. They were able to remove it without any damage to the fence. I was impressed with the way they moved all the debris to the front of the house stacked neatly and even raked up the leaves and small sticks around the site. I plan on using them for regular tree maintenance in the future.

We thought our palm tree was killed during the freeze in early 2021 but wanted to make sure before we had it removed. Called Sams to make an appointment and a day later they came out, confirmed the tree was indeed dead. Within two days a crew had the tree down, cut up and set on the corner for the city to callect and ground down the stump. Nothing but professional and timely people. Sam and his crew did an excellent job on removing a tree in our yard. They arrived on time and worked diligently until finished. They thought they may have relocate the swing set to remove the tree but were able to tie each part of the trunk up so that they lowered it gently around the swing set. We had some small trees removed from our yard and the stumps ground. Sams was very easy to work with from estimate to completion of the job. The trees were removed quickly and stacked for heavy trash removal. We could not be happier with the job Sams did for us.

We had an issue with an out of control group of wax myrtles between our house and our neighbors. They were unsightly and we had lost control. The trees were winning and removing them would have been fine with me.I called Sam’s and got a quick call back for an estimate appointment. During the estimate they listened to my concerns and we walked the entire property talking about each tree situation. I was given a reasonable, well explained estimate and no pressure to decide. I called to accept and the office was very helpful. An appointment was made for 2 days later.The team that arrived was on time and professional. They met as a group and discussed how to attack the biggest problem, the wax myrtle’s. A little over 2 hours later our trees were transformed. I could not have done what they did and suddenly my estimate was a great value as well. When a stress causing eye sore turns into a wonderful asset it’s a beautiful thing. The team was thorough, left everything better and cleaner than when they arrived and stacked a mountain of trimmings neatly for the city to remove. Our entire property has been enhanced and our big problem was solved expertly. They just know what they are doing. Period.We are delighted with Sam’s Tree Service. Sams crew arrived on time, introduced themselves, and we reviewed the work that was to be performed. They set up and donned their equipment quickly and proceeded to work. While the job was ongoing they continually cleaned up any debris. The jobs were completed in a short period of time with excellent results in a professional manner. Mr. Moreno came to our home with a mask and gave us a free estimate on what it would cost to prune our trees (we have 24). We also have some trees that are stressed and he recommended companies that could help us with that issue. We were called by his office to set up a time for the pruning. His crew arrived promptly. The crew worked efficiently and cleaned up all the trimmings. They came back after the ice storm and went back and worked on trees that had broken limbs even though they had already trimmed those trees. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a tree service.They are very professional and called to follow up to make sure that the work was done to our satisfaction.

We had a extremely old Oak tree that had died and was leaning towards home and very tall, with branches overhanging the home. The efficiency, knowledge and safety protocols they have in tree removal is amazing. I was impressed!! They were also very good about clean up, even raking the smaller debris left after picking up limbs. Would use again!! Sam’s knows trees, it’s what they do!! and it shows in the quality of work they perform. Called them back for removal of the debris after we realized how much there was and it was done just as cut down, efficient, knowledgeable and safety conscious.

Everything about the service was very professional. Sam came out promptly for an estimate. He had all the necessary information and paperwork to submit his price. The crew showed up exactly at the scheduled time, took care of business and cleaned up very thoroughly. They even cleaned up elsewhere in the yard beyond the area of the removed tree. Then Sam came buy to make sure I was satisfied. Thats what I call good service!

They came out and gave us a free estimate and setup a date which was this week and their work is AMAZING!! They removed large roots of trees we have recently cut down and it looked like there had been no work at all when finished, I highly recommend them! They are insured for any damages that may happen as well!!

I needed trimming of a mature cryp myrtle. Estimate and trimming done on the day I called. Price was reasonable, crew courteous and professional and clean up was completed after work was done. Tree was well trimmed and not cryp murdered. Ill use them again.

Sams did a great job clearing out a tree that fell victim to the latest ice storm. They cut it down, ground the stump down, cleaned all the debris, and left a nice flat area for new grass to fill in. Great job!
