Great facility with large turnouts and HUGE stalls that are well ventilated. The management is very polite and accommodating. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish the arena dirt was a little less deep as it is a rodeo style arena and I use my horse for dressage.

I moved to Lochan Ora in 2012. This is a great place to board with plenty of space. I have a stall as well as a turn-out. The stalls are the largest I have seen in the area. The turn-outs have run-in sheds and are also bigger than what is available at most other boarding facilities. There is a half-mile track and a grass area for riding. The outdoor arena is also a good size. There is a good mix of western and english riders as well as variety of age groups. I use the barn hay and it is excellent quality. My quarter horse has easily maintained her weight on the amount they feed with very little grain. The location is good for me since I live on the east side of Bryan. This feels like home to me.

I have been boarding here for almost 4 years. Its a great place to board! My older horse cant be in a stall very long without getting extremely lame, so I chose a run. The 3-sided barn is perfect for him to get out of the elements when its bad weather or a really cold north wind. Hes been a lot easier to keep weight on in the winter! I have them feed in the mornings for me and when I go out of town. I always know it gets done and people are always on the look out for your horses well being. I once was flying back into town from a trip when I got a call my horse was colicing. Sarah walked my horse until I arrived an hour later! She totally didnt have to do that. I never worry about my two horses when Im gone. The arena and track are kept in great shape & if the footing isnt to your liking, there are plenty of other places to ride where the ground is soft & has grass. They are always keeping runs & grounds mowed. I love the fact that you can be as involved with everyone else as you want. No drama here.

Ive been a boarder since March of 2015 and I could not be happier. The stalls are huge, even the small ones, the paddocks are a great size for turnout and maintained well, and the management is knowledgeable. The atmosphere is encouraged to be friendly and no nonsense is tolerated, which is incredibly appreciated by the long term boarders (currently over half the barn is comprised of long term boarders). I use their hay and it is better quality than the hay you can get at local feed stores. They are good about dragging the track and arena and allow us to build jumps that we keep in their grass field. I do not anticipate leaving unless the management leaves or I am able to keep my horses on my own property. I truly highly recommend this facility as long as you are happy to be involved in your horses care, which I can only assume every horse owner would be.

This place is great. No drama, everyone is kind and helpful. The stalls are huge and turnouts are nice. Ive been spoiled having the track as it is extremely helpful in keeping the horses legged up. Ive been here for a few years now and wont leave! Everyone is willing to jump in and take care of your horses when needed. Morning feeders are OCD about making sure everyone is fed and feeling alright. They actually make sure everyone is fed before 9am unlike most barns in town. This is the only self care barn in the area I have enjoyed! Management is great about making sure any problems are taken care of quickly. Quiet, low drama, and friendly barn.

Sarah and Tanner Stovall take excellent care of the horses and property. They are very knowledgeable and always willing to help. The property is a 5 minute drive from College Station and there are large stalls, turn outs, pastures to ride in, as well as, a track and lighted arena. PEMF therapy is also offered for both horses and riders.

The only thing that I liked about this boarding facility were the large stalls. The management doesnt care about their boarders horses at all, only their income. They say you can pay to have them feed your horse if you go home for the weekend but their were several instances where the payment was made, and my horse never got fed. If you accidentally leave the gates open on the turnouts, they put locks on them so the horses cant be turned out and have to stay in their stalls for several days at a time. My friend and I were also being charged different amounts for our board, even though we were both receiving the exact same services. Also, the arena is filled with rocky dirt and the horses are always getting stone bruises. DONT BOARD HERE!
