Cynthia is rude! She pretty much roles her eyes at you at talks at you like your beneith her. Louis is Chythia guinea pig and will harass you. Would not recommend this gum to anyone for the fact the staff members are allowed to talk to you any way they want to. I am a guest at the gym and find this very unprofessional. As I was told by Cynthia I could take it up with the manager. Sadly this is my first run in with her. Have had a great experience here until today. Such a waste of a good atmosphere to have staff like them two!

The staff is always very friendly and happy to assist you with anything you need regarding your visit to the gym. Their amenities are great and the gym is kept clean and orderly for every visit. Plenty of machines for all types of workouts for everyone, I love this place!

The place is always clean. Any and all equipment you can need is always available. Everybody is working on their own so theres really no judgment and no distractions. Help is always available.

Gym was always clean and staff was always nice. Had to cancel my membership because I am moving for my job and there is not a Planet near me. Walked in, asked to cancel, and 2 minutes later I was done. I’ve been to gyms where it takes literally weeks and tons of phone calls to cancel, so this was amazing.

This is a very clean and well ran gym. The worker are so nice and greet you when you come in. I personally love this place because no one is ever judging you. You are free to work out at your own pace.

The gyms are always super clean no matter which one you go to. I really liked the black card services and there was always plenty of equipment.

Staff is nice. Lady RR. 1 emergency light broken. Handicap shower doesn’t have a shower curtain and hasn’t for at least 3 weeks. I am assuming they are not interested in accommodation. One shower stall you have to hold your soap or use soap on a rope and put it around your neck. NO HOT WATER AT ALL.

Earliest closing time I ever see in planet locations it is 10pm, oldest bench I ever see, probably 20 years old. Machines are mostly broken such as press machines are not equal each side because all of them too old, I never see in any other planet location.

I truly enjoy coming to this gym. The team here are great about enforcing the mask policy, and do a great job keeping this place clean. I am disappointed about them not going back to regular hours though. The thing that drew me to PF was the fact that I could go at anytime and not feel rushed. No one is rushing me now but I feel like I have to go earlier knowing they will close at 7pm or 10pm.

For the price this is a great gym. There is plenty of equipment to share and even on the busy days you can still get on the equipment needed for your workout.

Love PF as a place to work out, standardized equipment, nationwide access, hydro massage therapy and so much more. With my frequent travel, i can find clubs in Alvin(TX), Beaumont(TX), Little Rock, Shreveport, Roseville, and so many other places in the US

The people who work here are very nice. I see them cleaning often, but I dont think they ever vacuum! Theres always fuzz and hair all over the ground. With only 4 Smith machines, small free weight area, and limited cable attachments sometimes you have to wait during busier times. Orrrrr recreate your workout on the fly ;DAll around a satisfactory gym.

I came for a day pass to try out this gym and there were 80% of people walking around without masks. People were gathered in groups of 6+ talking without masks. When I asked the manager about the mask policy he had no sense of urgency in resolving the issue. He stated that as long as people are working out at a machine they can have their mask off which is unproductive due to the fact they can spread germs the whole time working out. He did state that when people are moving from machine to machine they had to have a mask on but this wasn’t the case with the gym regardless. I’ve decided not to get a member ship due to the lack of care here regarding covid.

I have been a member of the Planet Fitness location on Texas in CS for over a year now. I have never been anything other than thrilled with the establishment until COVID-19 hit. The rule of the club, which is clearly stated, is that each person must wear a mask while entering the club, leaving the club, in the locker room, or walking around the club. The only time patrons are permitted to take their mask off is if they are on and actively using a piece of equipment. I have never seen this rule enforced. No one wears a mask inside the club and when I have brought it to the attention of the staff on multiple occasions, they brush me off. It is so disappointing to me that they are choosing not to follow their own rules which are set in place to save lives. I am hoping that things get better quickly or I will be forced to find a new gym.

Cheap monthly payments and very clean environment.Edit 1yr later: Recently I signed up for another gym nearby because honestly this PF gym is kinda small and equipment is limited but the very next day I came back to this PF. The staff is always welcoming and the equipment is always clean. Ive yet to see any equipment left damaged or torn. They are quick to fix it or replace it. As far as the gym members this location is not very crowded but when it is, its manageable. For the most part everyone leaves you alone, do their reps, and move on. Also since the cleaning stations are clearly marked and abundant, you dont have to worry about having to clean after someone like the other gym I was at. Highly recommend this location!

Somehow one of the cheapest gyms in town is one of the best. Ive been to fancier gyms that smell, arent welcoming, or dont keep the space tidy or organized. Equipment is always put away, theres a culture of generally cleaning up after ones self, and the staff is friendly. The new remodel has brought in even more equipment, so if you can think it, theres probably a machine to do it. Staff could be a little better about sweeping though.

I used to workout at a local gym in town and didn’t get half of what I do with PF. I was skeptical but glad my husband got me to try it out! :)

My first time at planet fitness and I’m impressed. Its decent for the price, and it serves my needs well. I wanted a place where I could workout easily near my apartment, and this place fills that void.Pros:- Clean and operational equipment- Nice locker room and showers available- Nice staff- TV’s and good A/C to cool me off during workouts- Lots of choices for monthly plans to fit everyone’s budget- tanning room for those interestedCons:- I cannot think of any cons at this time, I know some people are appalled by the lunk alarm, and maybe the lack of special equipment, but for the average person, these cons are not to be of concern.Overall - Great place to workout, highly recommend it.

Its simple. You go in, do what you gotta do, and thats it. It can get packed during peak times due to students, but its never intimidating. Still plenty of variety to get a decent workout. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Plus you cant beat the prices.

Good equipment and low price for membership. You can spend more money on another gym but what you do with your gym time is what makes a difference. Staff is always friendly and greets you and says have a nice day when you leave. Great classes and plenty of machines and weights. If you are a college student or even a busy person its open 24hrs and only $10 a month.

This is an update to my review of one year ago. We have been members since this location opened and are 100% happy. The recent renovation of the gym has added SO much, including some great new equipment like the 360 area and the stair-stepper machines The variety of equipment and number of machines available on the floor is exceptional. I appreciate that I never have to wait to use equipment. The personal trainer classes are incredibly valuable--and FREE. The classes are always different and motivating. Its a good way to change up your routine. All the staff is helpful and pleasant.

Great club. Recently updated. Friendly staff is always ready to help. I transferred my membership from Webster, TX to here because of a move. That transfer process was so easy.

I feel very comfortable and welcomed at any location I visit. Very friendly and helpful staff that make you feel comfortable and welcome as soon as you walk through the door. I enjoy the judge free environment and the prices are affordable.

I went there a few days ago and I liked it. Mind you this was the first gym Ive ever been to and I only went once. I thought the equipment was nice. I walked on a treadmill and worked out on one machine. I felt accomplished. I felt comfortable. I thought the facility in general was nice. I was pleased.I also went as a guest so Im not paying for any of it. I see a lot of negative reviews about bad customer service and things like that.For now Ill continue going as a guest, but what I saw with my own eyes made me consider a membership for myself.

The facility is kept clean, and theres a decent selection of weights and machines. The staff is friendly, which is also good.Im leaving a one star review due to their cancellation policies however. If you sign up for a planet fitness membership, you MUST cancel in person at the same location you signed up for OR send a certified letter. I have attempted to call and cancel my membership, but they have not let me, citing corporate policy. There is NO reason why I should be unable to cancel over the phone or online, and its extremely scummy how they enforce their cancellation policies.I moved away from college station after graduation so this has been a massive headache for me. Im not even able to cancel at a location thats local to me. Just keep in mind that you should cancel your membership here before leaving college station.

A great place to workout, with friendly staff, a relaxed atmosphere, and state of the art equipment. Great hours, prices, and benefits too.

Managers are not enforcing the rules that are posted all throughout the gym. Mask are to be worn in the gym the entire time, at least that’s what the signs say. But nobody is doing it and no one is correcting them. I do not think they have a capacity limit either.

No judgment workouts. Never over crowded and its always clean. Its refreshing to work-out in a gym without the gym sock smell.

I like the gym but there are no squat racks. There are only smith machines. There are lots of good exercises I am missing because there are no squat racks.

PT isnt actually interested in doing their job - skipped over some important stuff during the appointment and cut it short because I was the last one and they wanted to go home (it was a follow-up that they scheduled [every other PT Ive been to with planet fitness has done everything in 25 minutes or less])TVs dont have closed captions turned on.During peak times, expect a wait for the only water fountain.Everything else is on par with planet fitness.

You have to be insane to pony up a Service Fee and One Time Application Fee, $25 cancelation Fee, of which is the same thing and Monthly Fee costing you over $100 just to sign up. And you need a checking account for mandatory autopay there is no as you go pay here, it already cost NSF CHARGES of which is their goal to make more money of you, good luck if you want to throw your money away in the trash and if you want to cancel its gona cost you another $25 cancelation fees fees fees, they are worse than a bank...

Like the staff, so friendly machines easy to use, love the 30-minute circuit room. The locker rooms and other areas of the gym are all clean and kept up. LOVE the massage chairs and the total body enhancement machine.

I love that my whole family can work out together on our own schedule. We love the new equipment and the always friendly staff.

Planet fitness in college station has a good vibe! Its clean and has lots if equipment and even help from a trainer if needed to get you started. Low price options available for anyone.

I love how flexible it is, that the gym is open 24/7 and that I can use any Planet Fitness in the country. The staff is usually very friendly and professional. Minor problems like lagging WI-FI and air conditioning issues have come up but wont deter me from using this wonderful gym.

Very old and very used equipment. Mirrors are foggy and not clear. Over all the place needs a facelift. College Station deserves a planet fitness like the ones you find in Dallas, San Antonio and Austin. Okay place to stop by to do cardio but seriously the weights and stationary equipment need to be replaced.

Very inexpensive, neat clean facility with machines that I like to use.

It sucks. Machines are worn down and the mechanics of them at a higher weight, screw with your ligaments and tendons. Not having a bigger free weight section hinders the ability of you trying to control the weight. Your body is at the mercy of the machines range of motion. Also the fees and contract make the cost way more than just the monthly payment. On top of all this, the online and customer services dont get necessary information back to you in a timely manner, especially when youre going to cancel.

I had a membership for about 3 years with no issue (other than the place being packed all the time). However, I had an unpleasant surprise today when I cancelled my membership. I was told that they will charge this month anyway and that they should have told me when I signed up that I needed to give them notice of any changes to my account a week in advance, even cancellation. Ridiculous. First, I dont remember anybody telling me that. Second, Other than cashing out on me for the rest of the month, I cannot think of other reason why they cannot prorate any number of days until today that I cancelled. The email says that I can still use their facilities until what they charged me covers, but that means nothing to me, as I moved out of town.Its a sad end to an otherwise 3-year good experience with them.

I had always been skeptical of Planet Fitness, mainly due to things that I had heard from different friend groups. In College Station, I had been a part of Golds Gym and Tru Fit, Tru Fit most recently. There I ran into some real issues with constantly issues and poor customer service. This lead my girlfriend and I to put her Black Card membership to use.I visited PF with her here and in Corpus. I found that I really enjoyed Planet Fitness and joined just at the right time. There are all kinds of improvements on the way, an App that is super useful and a team of staff that is so helpful in every way possible. It makes going to work out fun and enjoyable. I do not feel a foreboding because of poor service or facilities.I am keeping my fingers crossed that a LateralX Elliptical makes an appearance with the new upgrades, that has to be the only thing I miss from Tru Fit. You all are doing an amazing job and I am so glad that I made the choice to switch over!I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a new place to work out! They have a whole lot to offer!

Excellent value. Lots of cardio equipment and cabled weight machines. The free weights area can become congested. The staff is courteous. They keep the common areas, equipment and restrooms clean. The one drawback is that of the water fountains which not cleaned. The one place where everyone puts their mouths seems to be overlooked, which is gross; thus, I subtracted one star.

It is nice that is 24/7 but the equipment is limited. I wish they had a stair master.

Going downhill. Not as clean as it used to be, some equipment and mats have a strong ammonia/urine smell. Dont really enjoy seeing string tanks and cut offs either, Manager is never in, staff is complacent and not motivated to provide excellent customer service.

Save yourself the hassle and DONT DO IT! Absolutely terrible management and horrible customer service. Tried out the no commitment for $10 deal and when we went to go cancel, they told us that we had signed on for a year even though we explicitly told them we wanted the no commitment, cancel anytime deal. They then told us we could come back and cancel on October 16th. When we went to go cancel, they again told us that we would have to pay the cancellation fee or come back in one month. Like someone else said, you get what you pay for, horrible customer service and a company ripping you off left and right. Youre better off spending the extra money for a different gym with better equipment anyway.

One star is a bit of a stretch when reviewing this location. Whoever answered the phone on todays call (no name given) needs a serious lesson on customer service. I called because the online system was not allowing to transfer my membership to another location. The guy rudely cut me off and said he could not handle it because the in gym members hold priority. He then explained he would not do it unless I tried online. He did not listen to a word I said.If he had, he would have remembered I tried it over 10 times. His attitude was so negative and off putting that I cut the phone call short to speak with him in person.In regards to the gym itself, I would recommend taking a few spare minutes and drive to the Bryan location. The gym is never as crowded as the CSTAT location and its always clean.

I like how many treadmills, ellipticals and stationary bikes Planet Fitness has. I also like how often the staff disinfects the equipment. I wish a few classes were offered for some variety and socialization (yoga, soul cycle, step, etc.). But overall, I’m okay with the individual type workouts — especially for only $10/month.
