Took in a swimsuit I recently bought to have the straps taken up a little. Tried it on before I left it, agreed on how much to take up, paid (paid extra for an express service), and left. Three days later I picked up my item, tried it on, and was EXTREMELY disappointed in how it turned out. The straps are significantly shorter than discussed, they are uneven, and the excess material in the inside feels like it has been cut and torn beyond belief. I might as well not wear anything with how short and uneven it is because it barely covers ANYTHING! I am beyond disappointed, as I was getting ready to leave for vacation, and can no longer wear my brand new swimsuit. Mind you, I paid half of what I bought it for just for the alterations, and I can no longer wear it. Im now out close to $100 between the price of the item and the costs of the alterations. Extremely disappointed and frustrated with how it turned out and will not be using their services in the future.UPDATE: Called to discuss options and was told I could bring it back to be fixed. Explained that I have a very tight work schedule and was told Im sorry you couldnt have just taken a few seconds to try it on after explaining my limited time crunch.Went back to see if we could get something worked out and they are AMAZING! Fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes, tried to give me a refund, but after their exceptional service I was more than satisfied! Thank you for being so accommodating !

These people are truly the best. The owner is down to earth! I made a mistake on the dates I needed the clothes by, and the owner pushed my clothes to the front of the line to ensure I had them by the date I needed. Not only that but the clothes were perfectly altered to my liking, I will now take all my clothes to these people. Such a positive experience!!

In her lifetime, my Mother (my family was from College Station since 1946, and my grandfather had his doctorate from the same) always used Beas after having Charlies pile up the back of one of her convertible Mercedes. The man running the front was THE MOST POLITE PERSON Ive ever met. My patches were sewn perfectly and it was cheap. I want to find something else I need altered just to have an excuse to come here again

Very disappointed with such a reputable company my wife took her uniforms in to get altered we paid 177 dollars to have 2 pants and shirts altered and also the rush fee and they where not done how they where pinned or done like what was discussed very disappointed will not be using again wish there would of been more attention paid to what was done now we have to go somewhere else and see if they can be fixed and pay more money to do it very upset with this situation..

Had two suits that needed a more tailored fit in the jacket body, pant legs and length. Bea deftly and expertly measured and altered them. They look and fit perfect. The price was fair--certainly less than buying a new suit. The work was done on time. Highly recommend.

Brought a mori lee bridesmaid dress in. Was a lot of fabric but they did a wonderful job. Reasonably priced too! Very nice and friendly people!

I was extremely pleased with my experience at Beas Alterations in College Station! Everyone is very friendly there...and welcoming. The work they did helping me with the alterations on two long, formal evening dresses, one long dress I wore to my sons rehearsal dinner...and the dress my daughter wore as a bridesmaid...was extremely good. I loved how the dresses fit...loved the timing on how fast they were finished with the work...and the kindness they showed throughout the whole process.

The owners were fantastic and so nice. I am planning my wedding in a month, and my dress arrived with only two weeks left. I wasn’t expecting much with that time frame, so I just needed to find someone to hem it. They agreed when others wouldn’t even listen after they heard “wedding dress” and “two weeks.” They hemmed it and were also able to fix the lace sticking up in the back and other various fit issues. They got it back a week earlier than expected. I can be a bit picky with how things fit, and it was perfect. Pricing was what I expected. I believe I spent around $120-140 for everything, with the hemming portion somewhere around $40.

I went in to get a pair of pants hemmed and told them I need them and the was ready in 30 mins and perfect. Of course I had to pay an extra $15 but it was worth it.

They were very nice, but my dress is now longer in the front than in the back. It took longer than I had been told it would and was a tad over priced for what was being done (just getting it hemmed cost $45, and it isnt level now).Good people, but not the best quality from my one experience.Also, they charge up front which I found kind of odd

Took several weeks to shorten a jacket. Had to come in a second time (taking time of work) because they forgot to write down measurements. Left a giant hole on the inside of jacket and denied responsibility. Best part was I paid a premium thinking it would be better than taking it elsewhere.

Very dependable and the alterations I ordered were impressive.

We had a prom dress altered and they did a great job. It was not an easy job but was done in a timely manner at a fair price. we just dropped off another dress last week and got a call that it is ready!

I would give 0 stars if possible. The attitude was awful, still I left my clothes there, which was my mistake. I had 3 items that only needed hemming that a beginner could do, preferring a professional was my second mistake. I overpaid for easy jobs and the work was pathetic. Two I had to take back right away, they were done sloppily and surprisingly incompetently. The third item fell apart shortly afterwards. I would never patronize this establishment again. I actually just came to leave this review because I initially was very disappointed with the subpar work for such easy jobs, but went to wear one of the items I had to take back today and realized where she stitched it had fell apart since then. YIKES. Amazingly, unbelievably bad. The man at the counter was very nice, but the woman who did the work was snobbish and rude and if you’re going to be so nasty to customers, at least let your work be decent. I’d accept mediocre. Just wow.
