Shopped using CarGurus “GREAT PRICE”. The advertised price on used cars is NOT the price you will pay at the dealership. CarGurus price doesn’t disclose the added non negotiable items. They will add the Blue Advantage warranty and other “dealership non negotiable” items that can cost well over $5000.00. If Allen Honda is using CarGurus as a place to advertise then they need to list the additional add-ons. In addition to the above, I was offered a very low trade In amount on my car and when I wouldn’t accept it they increased it double, but not before offering several other offers before an acceptable one was reached. I already had financing and let it be known before we sat down but was still required to complete a credit application while there. Their commercials state voted best in the Brazos Valley. Maybe that’s why I’ve bought prior cars in Austin and Houston. It’s worth the drive.Reply to the owners justification of non negotiable items: the website that I used (CARGURUS)to find and obtain financing through DOES NOT have any disclaimers highlighted in normal font stating the listed advertised price is not the price you pay at the dealership. It DOES NOT have a disclaimer about the forced warranty. BTW a complaint has been made to CarGurus as to false advertising.

I was tracking down a vehicle that was out of stock at all dealerships around me that I needed ASAP and they had one coming in that wasnt already spoken for. They didnt go over MSRP, in an environment where Id otherwise have to wait at least a month and a half to get a vehicle that is a plus. And they only had a few dealer add-ons that were below 2.6% of the total price. And some of those I wanted to get anyway. Rusty was the sales agent and was very helpful and straightforward and got me the car as soon as he could. All in all it was a very easy experience despite them being relatively far away.

We were traveling home to Dallas from the beach when we noticed a weird noise from the motor. We stopped in and were assigned to Travis as our service advisor. He was super nice and helpful!! Allen Honda took the van for a drive and ran a diagnostic test. Luckily they found nothing so we felt comfortable heading back to the highway. Best part - no charge!!!! So nice and accommodating with our family of 7. If we lived closer, it would be our dealership of choice.

Just want to give a shout out to Logan in the Service Department. He went above and beyond getting my vehicle fixed even going so far as to help me call my warranty company and make sure the work I needed was covered. The job was done in less than 24 hours and very little out of pocket. The Service Department is the backbone of any good dealership and Logan is one of the best in the place!

My wife and I visited yesterday and were very pleased with Thorne. I thought he had a great helpful attitude. We also liked the vehicle on the test drive. We didn’t like the way his supervisor came across, he started the conversation by telling us that he is going to charge us $1900 more than the sticker. I got mad and gave him a higher than I actually wanted number for our trade in. At that point he told me that he wasn’t going to negotiate anymore because we were too far apart. We left and went down the road and purchased a GLC from College Station Mercedes Benz for the same price as the Pilot we test drove. As a manger he should know that people don’t want to be dismissed, some of us like to negotiate, but the one thing I hate is the feeling that I am wasting his time. The customer service skills are lacking in some people on your management team.

Dont even go to this dealer. The put addendum stickers on there cars for up to $1700 dollars of add ONS that are not installed. And admin fees to the deal. They tried to push a deal though with 2800 of addition money on a 12900 advertised car. Thats just ripping you off. You expect more from Honda. Stay away!!!!

Found the truck we had been looking for. Spoke with Nick and his assistant Gentry. For a whole day they were helpful and even helped me set up delivery to CA with a company they recommended. I was preapproved from my Credit Union who called Nick directly to confirm the price. I was then passed to a manager who I was assured could complete the transaction as he has sold cars to CA before. Thats when the price kept increasing. Originally he called and said there was an additional 2700 for a service charge?! He drew up the papers and emailed me a breakdown of the additional charges as I asked him to and they were then 2999.00!!! This is not tax or registration my friend. It was totally dishonest and shady. DO NOT buy from a dealership that underhandedly screws the costumer in this way! Its not normal. After speaking further with Junior he would not stand by the original price, I washed my hands and went elsewhere. The other bad reviews were 100% right. This place wasted my time and lied even to the bank on the price

My experience has been awesome my salesperson was Aaron Evans he took the time to show us how we could lease a new Odysee for just a little more than buying a used vehicle. He has been there with follow up service such as helping us figure out how work all the new fangled gizmos I am old school LOL he is very patient. Worst place I have ever bought a car from. Drove two hrs to get the best car Honda offers and got the worst service. Brand new car, tint peeling after 3 weeks, didn’t fill my tank when I bought the car and couldn’t call me to tell me my plates came in. Lied on the warranty, sold me a warranty for their location and told me it was for all Honda dealerships including oil change, not the case. Save your self the trouble n shop at a different Honda dealer l.

Drove 1.5 hours to purchase an Accord Hybrid. MSRP $39,000. The manager explained (while laughing) how they are marking up prices $3000-$4000 above MSRP. He then stated he will not “honor” internet prices or sticker prices…as if he knows what honor is. He then printed out an offer at $45,000...$6000 above MSRP. Clearly his level of arrogance has blinded him to the point he has no thought of future business. I ask if he was actually serious and he laughed and said yes. I told him this isnt even a discussion and Id gladly pay MSRP. He laughed again until I stood up and walked out. If they are willing to take advantage of the current shortage this way, look out. They are literally laughing at their customers for over paying. Shameful. Honda should be embarrassed to be represented by a dealer like this.

My wife and I had the most amazing experience at Allen Honda. It all started with basic negotiation over the phone as we live 50 miles away. When we got to the dealership, our sales contact met us with a smile and immediately gave us the keys to take the car for a test drive. He didnt even tag along. When we got back from the drive he met us again to go over the car and any questions/concerns we had. The issues we had were immediately taken care of. I recently bought a used Buick Enclave from Dominik at Allen Honda in BCS and these people are WONDERFUL! Customer service alone will make me never buy from anyone else. They are professional, kind, and fast! We came back to get the car detailed and they have a kids room where they had Netflix and brought our girls pizza. I absolutely LOVE Allen Honda. Everyone up there makes you feel welcomed, and are so sweet. Even when your kids are screaming and acting wild.

Russ provided super friendly customer service today as I has last min damage to my splash guard that needed attention after a 13.5 hour road trip. The entire service department was helpful from the moment I arrived until my issue was completed. Russ provided detailed guidance to help resolve my issue once I return to San Antonio, even offered to be available via phone if I run into any issues. I was extremely surprised & pleased at how my problem was handled this morning. Bonus: fresh popcorn while you wait!I will return to Allen Honda when I am ready to purchase a new vehicle!

Very unprofessional. Me and my fiancé who is African American came in and he was just getting started at up and down. Said our car was totaled due to a few hail dents. WOW....WOW....WOW!!!! What a wonderful experience buying a car at this very nice establishment. I was looking to cut expenses, so looking to downgrade and get into a cheaper car. I live in Houston and I found a car that fit my criteria at Allen Honda, and man was it worth the drive. I was treated with the greatest service beginning from the original phone call asking about the car all the way until I signed the last paper and drove off in my new car.Highlights of my experience:1. Pulling into a massive building with many cars to choose from.2. The great service from employees welcoming me.3. My wife and I just purchased a 2020 Accord from Allen Honda, and these folks a absolutely professional! I went in on a Saturday morning for an oil change, and I requested an appraisal of our car, which we traded in. I honestly can’t recommend this dealership enough. Aaron was our salesman and he was a very pleasant and professional young man. Jason, the new car sales manager too was a very pleasant and professional. Casimira, who goes by “Casey”, was our finance manager, and she too was very friendly, willing to explain any questions we had, and “clearly” explained all the finance terms. That doesn’t happen at every dealership. I’d highly recommend this dealership, and we will definitely consider these folks again if our daughter is still at A&M when we buy our next car.

Found the vehicle I was looking for on the internet at this dealership. I live over 600 miles away and booked a flight to go purchase from them. This was my first time going in to buy a car as a full-time college student with a full time job. I had a strict budget and Aaron was able to help me find something that was well under that. I will say this for me this was an absolute amazing experience I see why they are the number customer service rating for College Station. My father went with me and he has bought cars for year and even he said that was the best experience he had a dealership. They were honest and laid out everything on the table didnt hide anything. I bought a used 2018 accord from Allen Honda. The salesman Kaleb, sales manager Jason, and GM Rusty were all top notch friendly and good to work with. I came in on a Thursday evening about 530 and was out the door with my car by 705.About two weeks after I bought the car I had a flat that couldn’t be repaired, and Russ in service replaced the tire at no cost to me! They could’ve easily said that road hazard isn’t covered covered by the factory warranty, but no they went above and beyond and earned a customer for good.If you’re in the market for a new or used Honda I urge you to go see the folks at Allen Honda and you won’t be disappointed.

BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS!! I went to Allen Honda to look at an SUV with my daughter, who is a senior at Texas A&M, that was advertised on their website for $15,588 with 17,600 miles. Well we arrive at the stealership, test drive the SUV and speak to the salesman Juan about the discrepancy in mileage advertised versus the actual mileage of 42,000 miles (25,000 miles difference) and he says I dont know about that, I dont work in the marketing dept.) . He then informs us that the vehicle comes with the Blue Advantage Certification which includes a 12 month/ 12,000 mile dealer provided warranty, 182 point inspection, list of repaired parts, and 2 sets of keys. Once inside, Juan immediately wants us to fill out the credit application before any talk about final price, fees/ tax, etc... I tell him that I would like to see the numbers first so that we can agree on a price for the vehicle before we go any further. He seems put off by my request, gets up and goes to the back room before going to the sales managers office. Once he returns, he presents us with a sales sheet that has the final price at $20,458 from an advertised price of $15,588!!!!! After closer inspection there was over $4000 in extra aftermarket extra fees, one of them being the included Blue Advantage Certification to the tune of $1899 by itself!!! I immediately crossed out the unnecessary and predatory fees and was informed that they cant remove them, if we want to purchase the SUV that is the sales price with the fees included... Talk about RIP OFF, STAY AWAY, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST, LYING STEALERSHIP!!! I firmly believe these predatory tactics take advantage of the large student population, who in most cases, are buying their first car on their own and dont have their parents there to protect them from such egregious abuses!!!! It may seem odd that I am giving them 5-stars, while I have never been there. My experience is that I recently arrived in town and needed an oil change. I went to a small local shop to get the job done as opposed to Allen Honda. A couple weeks later, I noted that there was some oil residue appearing under my car in my garage. Concerned, I called Allen Honda, a bit spooked to go back to the smaller garage. I spoke with the service professional and asked for an appointment. He asked where I had gone and told me they were a good family shop and I should go back and that he was sure they would make it right and to only visit Allen Honda if the other shop could not resolve the problem. He was right. They tightened something up and topped me off and I was good to go. Honesty is definitely appreciated!

After buying a used vehicle at another dealership that had a ton of hidden problems, I brought it to Allen Honda for repair. They went above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Russ, my service advisor did everything he could to get all of the urgent items and as much of the non urgent items fixed within my set budget he could. The communication between him and myself was great, I like being in the loop as much as possible. I think I’ll start bringing my Ford truck here for service too. 6 out of 5 stars. Never had a better experience with a shop.

I canNOT recommend Dominic enough!! The general manager Rusty has an amazing team including Cassi who prepared our signing papers. We reached out looking for a vehicle after being EXHAUSTED from dealing with other dealerships who only had their best interests in mind instead of ours (well, duh) but Dominic was amazing. He gave us a great deal on our trade in, made the process amazing. When we signed yesterday, they had everything ready for us and we were out of there in less than an hour, including a test drive! The service here is unparalleled and I’m truly grateful Dominic and the Allen Honda team we’re able to help us get into a new vehicle!! Traded in a 2005 Honda today for a very nice 2015 mini cooper at this location. Henry was an incredible guy helping us with the test drive giving us information about payments and the technology. The whole process took a while but we were taken care of very well by everyone there. I was also getting another one of my cars serviced and the speed that it was taken care of was inredible, plus the car wash with it! My 2016 civic looks beautiful. The facilty is very professional and clean, the service department is very organized and clean. I am very happy with the service I received and I will be returning. I went for an oil change and left with a 2015 mini cooper!

The only good experience Ive had here was purchasing the car. Juan was the seller and he was great. However, since driving off the lot ten months ago, I can no longer recommend Allen Honda. Ive taken my brand new Civic in three times for routine service, and EVERY SINGLE TIME Ive had to take the car back because they dont know how to properly complete a basic oil change and tire maintenance. The last two times Ive visited the service manager had to help the techs properly inflate tires. I called today with a simple question regarding TPMS recalibration and the first service tech had no clue what I was talking about and the second lady became rude with me when I asked her to look at the service notes under my cars service history. My car is ten months old and so far, the car is fantastic. Allen Honda? Not so much. Honestly, as a customer, I would hope that someone dropping 27k on a vehicle would be treated with more courtesy and respect. This is the closest dealer around, but Im considering transferring my business to the Houston area.

I love this Honda Dealership! Every time I take my 2019 Honda Insight to get checked before or after a long road trip home, I always get genuine and quality-level hospitality care here. I especially want to commend Cody Nobles, Senior Service Advisor at this facility. Cody is attentive, genuine, and very informative. After moving to College Station to attend graduate school at Texas A&M, I wanted to ensure I knew where the nearest Honda dealership was. After a long drive from home, I remember taking my car last year to get it checked. Cody was the first person I met, and Im glad I did, because when I happen to visit and he is present, I am certain that everything will get taken care of. Recently, I took my vehicle to get a check-up before leaving back home for the Thanksgiving break and Cody assisted me with my service. Allen Honda treated me right from the start. The shopping experience couldnt have been easier. The store was very clean and they seem to be A+ on their Covid game. I didnt feel that the sales staff was pushy at all and even though I didnt come in to buy a Honda, they had a HUGE inventory of trucks (something that is actually hard to find surprisingly in Texas right now). I went home happy with my new (to me) truck and will be taking it back to Allen Honda for oil changes since they say that they can get me in and done in under 20 minutes (including wash/vacuum, which would take me longer than 20 mins anyways on my own). If you stop by, make sure and talk with the GM Rusty Skinner. Hes one of the most down to earth, honest guys Ive ever dealt with. We retired in 2018 and moved here from Corpus Christi, Texas and have owned eleven (11) Hondas. We have a 2010 Insight (186K miles) and a 2017 Pilot. Both vehicles have been to Allen Honda a couple times for routine scheduled maintenance, and service experience has always been 2nd to one. The Service staff are extremely knowledgeable always very helpful. They never push any unnecessary or needless repairs. Despite the COVID-19 issue, I took my 2010 Insight I to Allen Honda on 6/1/20 for a oil change, state inspection, A/C cooling issue and spare key FOB rework. My Service rep was Catherine Lock was outstanding, the time and attention afforded myself and other customers was going the extra mile effort wise. My spare key FOB has been inoperable for the last couple years, because one of the transmitter push buttons was sticking. Robert Ruiz tried some old spares, but the were not a match. I bought an after market transmitter, but it was not programmable. Robert had a new replacement key pad and the key was reprogrammed shortly (I shouldve done this sooner). Everything maintenance wise was accommodated to my satisfaction, and the final cost (with my military discount) was very reasonable. I love doing business with these folks!

Allen Honda is interested in helping those with good credit, a down payment of $2000, and make more than 20k a year. Same as all the other dealerships. If you fit the criteria you will be treated fairly, and if not then dont waste their time.**Update** I got a car! But not from Allen Honda... Repo Joe Sale at Bryan/ College Station Toyota gave me more than a fair deal for my trade in and a payment under $300. I recommend them and they didnt pay me to say this.

Was trying to buy a preowned vehicle remotely as I live in Houston and they wouldn’t even give me the courtesy of returning my email. Yes I did not want to pay the sticker price but a counter or “sir our price is firm” would have sufficed. No biggie plenty of dealerships with a 3 hour drive of Houston. We worked with a salesman named Robert Galloway. He was so wonderful to us, despite my wife having high anxiety. He was patient with her and he was honest about showing us vehicles in our price point. He had one vehicle in mind for us and that was the vehicle we ended up purchasing. The guy in finance wasnt very nice at all but we didnt care. Robert was wonderful and so was everyone else in that place. Such a great experience for both of us. We purchased our 5th Honda. Our first time from Allen Honda. Honda dealerships are always a cut above most other dealerships. However, Allen Honda goes well beyond most Honda Dealerships.When you enter the building, you are greeted and made to feel welcome. Like meeting an old friend. JR, our sales rep. Was no pressure. Asked us what we needed and what we wanted. Then produced the requested vehicle at the desired price and payment. All while working with 5-6 other customers at the same time. He was simply Outstanding.The finance office was a whole other level. In past purchases the finance office is akin to being sent to the principals office, with huge up sales. Shirley, never pressured us into any up sales. She pointed out that with the warranty and the included 6yr 80,000 mile FREE oil changes. Our investment was well covered. Plus she has this super easy paperwork experience.We left the dealership feeling good about our purchase. Looking forward to returning for service. We are very assured the same level of experience as well.

We have used Allen Honda for all of our service needs for our Civic and Odyssey since 2012. Kristin Galloway is wonderful and the service department is exceptional. The kids area is completely closed in and makes it so much easier to bring a toddler and a preschooler with me to get our oil changes done. The popcorn and cookies are great as well. I cant imagine going anywhere else for our service needs.

He did a great job explaining and answering my questions.I complained of a vibrating noise somewhere in the hood of my car. We test drove it.While we were on the road, I asked Cody if he could just drop me off at my house (since we were near where I lived), and drive my car back to Allen Honda and to give me a call for any update. I put these people through the ringer! My daughter is attending Texas A&M and had her 2010 Honda Fit stall on her while driving. She took it to Allen Honda and worked with Cody in The Service Dept. Because I’m not there, Cody mentioned that they would do everything possible to diagnose the issue and fix the problem. Being an overzealous dad that is several hundred miles away, they made me feel at ease. I even spoke with Rusty Skinner, the GM to make sure that my daughter’s car would be prioritized and fixed correctly. Rusty gave my daughter a loaner while her car was in the shop. This was a key factor for their service dept. to take their time in determining the issue with my daughter’s car. It was eventually diagnosed and fixed and all ended well. I will continue to work with Allen Honda! These people stepped up and took care of my family!!! When my daughter graduates from A&M, I now know where to buy her graduation present!!

I am completely irritated with the lack of service I have received at Allen Honda. I purchased a pre-owned SUV here last week on Monday. I was supposed to be able to pick up the car on Tuesday. Tuesday I find out no it is going to be Wednesday. On Wednesday, it becomes Saturday. On Saturday, I’m promised Monday at noon. It is 5:00 and still no car. No one has bothered to call and update me any of those times. I have had to go out of my way to try to source out information. I am throughly frustrated, irritated, and doubt I will be returning to purchase another car due to the complete lack of customer service. I feel ignored and taken advantage of. Horrible first car buying experience.

I continue being a Honda fan because of the service experience I get at Allen Honda. Whether I have a scheduled appointment for regular maintenance or something just comes up, the service team always accommodates me and treats me like a valued customer. I was there yesterday for a simple inspection but I had a few other questions about my vehicle. My service advisor Russell Karli took care of me and got me answers quickly. At some places you are treated like a nuisance or wait for an extended period of time just to get someone to help you. I have never had that experience at Allen Honda. The service experience and the clean, professional atmosphere keep me coming back. I highly recommend the service department.

I have been having my car serviced by Allen Honda for a few years now. Before that, Id always thought a dealership service would charge way too much, but strangely that hasnt been the case so far with Allen Honda. Makes me question reality. On top of that, they have been some of the most professional, competent people I have met. So of course Ill keep coming back!Russell Karli was my service advisor this last time when I took my car in for an oil change. I had also been searching for a place that performs headlight restoration, but I didnt say anything here since I didnt think Allen Honda did headlight restoration. Russell, however, looked at my headlights and mentioned they did that without me even bringing it up! Two birds with one stone! Im glad he was proactive and said something, and I also appreciated the spring in his step! Really makes a difference.

I had the pleasure of working with a lady named Tammy, who was extremely professional and was able to address all of my concerns with my vehicle in a timely manner. Tammy was very personable and made my two-year-old feel very comfortable being at their dealership. There is a very nice play area for children conveniently located near the restroom, as well as near the refreshment area. Overall my experience with Allen Honda was fantastic!

Wanted to purchase a Toyota Tacoma. Had personal financing lined out and had a vehicle to trade in. When I went to purchase I kept being pushed to fill out a credit application, and that Allen Honda could get better rates. After I refused to do so, because I already had a great rate through a credit union, I was pushed to the side and the deal was off. I’m guessing Allen Honda makes their money off of the higher interest rates they charge you through their credit department. I’ve been there twice to purchase vehicles and won’t be back. Folks, shop around for your interest rates, many credit unions are way better. There were no follow up calls or anything. This is why locals are going out of town to buy vehicles.

My absolute last purchase from this dealership. Everyone was wonderful and worked with me before, as Ive been a loyal customer for years now. But its been one thing after another with them while dealing with my last purchase. I bought the car I wanted and a used one to have a second car. Never would have done so had I known I was going to be denied pregnancy Medicaid. I was promised my money back as soon as I received the title in the mail. $14k and that 2nd car never left the dealership, nor had I ever had the keys in my possession till the other day. Well I was lied to about getting my money back by selling it back to them. Like i said, $14k, never put a single mile on it and they told me they would only give me $6k back. I have never had a problem in the past, just recently. They dont even deserve one star, half if that!

Went to Allen Honda to trade in a car for a 2017 Honda Pilot since we do not like the Honda dealership in town. The facility is very nice and everyone there was very friendly. I am giving four stars because I was promised a second key and it took almost 3 weeks to get a hold of someone to get one, but they were honest and said they forgot about it instead of making up some excuse like most other dealerships would, which I appreciate. Since I live out of town, they said they could either have someone drive my car back to the dealership and give me a loaner until my car was ready (since the key has to be programmed) or I could go to the local dealership and they would pay. Really great customer service and when we need a new car we will definitely be back.

All through sales was great, amazing customer service. My problem is when it comes to Allen Honda’s service, I recently bought a 2018 Honda Accord and so far had to take it to services 3 times. Each time they have fixed my problem free of cost under warranty since it is a brand new car. But when it comes to telling you when your car will be finished or calling to get an update on your cars progress, in my experience either you have to call a couple of times to get the person your working with on the phone (only the person your working with can give you an update) or they say they will call you back and never do to where you have to keep calling them and feeling like a bother. I gave it three stars only cause of the sales experience I had, sales team is stellar!
