Let me start at the beginning. I had booked this limo company on Sept 19 for Oct 2nd. Something happened which made it so I had to cancel. They said no problem... that will be $150 for the cancellation fee. I asked if they could tell me why, and he said We order our limos months in advance, so we have to charge you for cancelling. Months in advance. I booked the night before. So there is Lie #1!!Now... the night of homecoming. My first thought when I saw the limo was awful. The paint was a little worn, but the worst was the tint job on the windows. The large bubbles in the tint screamed discount limo company! And no, they were far from the cheapest! The over-use of air fresheners did not make the interior more appealing, it was hard to stay in the limo without wanting to come out for air.Problems at the restaurant made the kids late. I contacted the limo driver to see what can be done if the kids were late. We needed around 15 minutes. The driver tried to be nice by saying if they could keep it under 15 minutes, he could cover for them. After 15 minutes, we are out of luck. I texted the kids to hurry. During that time, I get the following text:Sorry my boss just called, he said theres another job so 8 is the limitWe booked the limo from 5pm to 8pm. The kids were trying to cash out, and now there was no way for them to get a limo from the restaurant to the school for homecoming (which was part of the details provided to the limo company). I cut my dinner short with family friends to rush over to the restaurant to help manage the situation. The limo was still waiting outside when I got there. The limo driver said he had to go, and asked if it was okay for him to leave. Knowing his boss just called that 8 was the limit, how could I say no? I said fine, and started immediately to find alternative travel arrangements for the now-stranded kids. The limo drove away.I get a call from the guy who runs the operations. He started off by asking me to hold. Keep in mind I have 10 kids I have to find transportation from their homecoming dinner to the dance. Their night was going from bad to worse. And now this guy wanted me to hold on the phone. I hung up. As I was figuring different Lyft options, he calls back. This time he tells me he can give me the limo for another hour. I could swear the driver told me 8 was the limit! I told him I had already made other arrangements. I wasnt lying, I already had a Lyft XL on the way, and a parent was on their way as well to provide support. But I found it odd when there was an opportunity to make an extra hour of service for only 15 minutes, the boss suddenly found an extra hour somewhere.Later that night, I emailed him that I was going to thoroughly enjoy writing a review for his company. He argued that it was not their fault, I only booked 3 hours, and I dismissed the limo. Even given a chance to extend the trip, I declined. While those statements individually are true, the chronology of events, and the omitted information shows its not a fair way to assess the complete trainwreck of a service they provided.STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!!
