DJs exceeded expectations for our tree removal project. Highly recommended, details below.After obtaining estimates from 5 local services, DJs provided the best bang for the buck by a reasonable margin. The reason for this became obvious when the crew showed up (on schedule!) to do the work... they operate like a very efficient machine providing economies of scale. We had 11 mature (70 ft?) trees removed, and two large wind blows cleared, and they did it all in about 6 hours. Given their professionalism and efficiency I am sure they would be the right choice for smaller jobs as well.The crane was set up once and could reach every tree from there (and they were on opposite sides of our house!). They then methodically processed each tree from the top down; one guy would cut, the crane carried it to a staging area where another guy used a skid steer to bring to the chipper, there was a second crane which fed the chipper (and another guy who operated it), and yet another guy ground stumps, all at the same time. This would have been a multiple day project if done manually (and the prices from those guys reflected this). Also, they clearly communicated throughout the process (both during prep, and the day of), were courteous, and left our property excellent condition... all that was missing were the trees, it was like they just disappeared.

Ill make it quick. Trees came down quickly. Zero mess for me to pick up afterwards. Person I dealt with on the site was great.No complaints, only compliments. Recommend

Super team work with. Weve had them to several jobs over 15 years-including removing a large tree in the middle of our front lawn - with large crane. Very professional. The entire site is clean when they leave. They listen to what the customers wants.

The DJ team was on time, efficient, and left the job clean as a whistle. They removed a large scraggly pine and ground the stump. The only sign that they had been there was a slight depression in the ground where the stump once resided.

They did a great job communicating with me. Did a great job with the removal and clean up of my trees. At a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them.

The Crew came on time and removed a large and damaged tree, with expertise and amazing equipment. They also removed some stumps and a large log and did careful trimming in several difficult locations on our property. Despite their efficiency, they used safety precautions through out both to protect nearby buildings and themselvesThe cost seemed very reasonable given the work and the quality, and the crew was very pleasant and professional. Their work was finished and everything cleared away within an hour. I was amazed.In short I would recommend DJs without reservation!

I cant say enough good things about DJs Tree Service. We had three large trees removed that were all close to the house. The crew worked like a well oiled machine and had all of the trees down in a couple of hours. All of the debris was raked up and removed and the lawn was left in great shape. Thanks Again!

If you are in need of having tree removal done on your property, I would highly recommend DJs Tree Service! I had 5 EXTREMELY large oak trees taken down from a very tight space. The team had to crane them all over my pool, deck and house. The team were not only highly skilled at what they do, but friendly, respectful and worked well together, like a NASCAR Pit Crew! Jessica who runs the office was always responsive and a pleasure to work with. Actually everyone was, from my first meeting with Jim, the owner, to the young men doing the yard cleanup. They did an excellent job and I would not call anyone else to do tree work in the future. I have used others in the past and had to pick up a yard mess after they left.....not with DJs other than some saw dust, you cant tell they were here. The crew was very professional while the did an outstanding job removing a large oak and trimming other trees.

Expensive but they do a good job.I hired DJs to remove an uprooted pine tree - one tree - that had blown over during a crazy windstorm that swept the area in Oct 2017. I called within hours of the tree falling and, since it was firmly lodged in an adjacent group of trees, told them I was not an emergency and go help those who are. They showed up 4 days later - fine - with a huge crew and were in by 9am out by noon. The bill was an astonishing $2000 and I had some issues with them not picking up after themselves (or at least doing the bare minimum - TBF a disputed point) however when I complained Jim ultimately stood by their work and agreed to come and pick up debris in spring.I would use DJs again. I suggest you get a quote and be involved about the work expected/performed but that would go for anyone you hire.

I didnt have a tree removed but I was stuck in my bosses driveway in Colchester trying to back drags and snow I was stuck probably 15 minutes until DJs drove by with two massive trucks and saw me stuck they immediately pulled over to assist with a smile on their face and more than willing to jump under my truck to assist me! These guys didnt even bat an eyelash and removed my truck from the snow! With employees that care like these guys this should be anybodys one stop shop super friendly and easy to get along with! Absolutely fantastic and wonderful experience with these folks. Professional, high caliber, capable crew that handled exactly what my complicated project threw at them. I was incredibly impressed with how well and smoothly these guys operated. They took the time to leaf blow and even rake my driveway (to erase the tread Marks from heavy equipment). I was really happy with deciding to go with this company over others. I couldnt believe the extent they went to to make sure our needs were met. They didnt even touch our chicken coop fencing! This remarkable crew showed up with a convoy of vehicles and in 1 1/2 hours the trees were gone, stumps ground and driveway and road swept. I was absolutely blown away by the service and people doing the work. Competitive priced and amazing work.

Amazing crew! We had a huge poplar tree hanging over our house and our neighbors and DJs came in and safely removed it stump and all in about 4 hours plus a maple tree. We will be using them for all tree removal in the future, I very highly recommend them!

I can’t say enough about this company. DJs crew was the ultimate in professionalism, courtesy, and the bottom line...... price. We had two large trees and one humongous tree removed. It was a joy to watch this team in action. Not only did they remove the trees, they cleaned up the entire work area so there wasn’t a leaf left behind. Also..... I asked for a little extra underbrush and they did it without hesitation.... at no extra cost. So let’s talk money..... for the two large trees DJ’s price was $700 less than the other “big guy” in the area. $700 less!!! Once I seen that I didn’t even ask for a price on the humongous tree! Also.... DJs gave me an additional discount if I had all three trees done at the same time. They showed up on time with the equipment and tools to get the job done right.
