The quickest 2 hours of my life! I boarded Wild Air with my wife and 2 kids on a cool and windy autumn day. The 25 knot breeze kept a nice lean on the boat which provided some epic splashes as we sat on the bow with our feet dangling. Captain Erol was a great host as we worked the rigging and kept our course true. He was more than happy to answer my questions about the boats mechanicals and educate us about sailing and the various classes available through his school. The voyage was the highlight of our trip to Vermont and we cant thank him enough.

I cannot recommend Erol’s services enough! I chartered an afternoon of sailing with my fiancé and his parents. It was a cool and drizzly day with very little wind, but that didn’t stop us from sailing far away from the marina to catch some gorgeous views and learn a lot about Lake Champlain and the history of Malletts Bay. Erol is a very interesting and well-versed guy, so there was no shortage of conversation. He also had some very nice snacks ready for us. We loved that he let us steer the boat ourselves! I live right on Malletts Bay in Colchester and I would absolutely do this again.

My wife and I went for a two hour sunset cruise with Errol and we had a wonderful time. Errol was a lovely host & a very nice guy to hang out with. He was happy to teach us about the boat & local area & the views from the lake cant be beat. Highly recommend!

My bf & I came to Burlington, VT with the hopes of being able to sail away on Lake Champlain. Its been a tough year for everyone because of Covid & we werent sure we were going to be able to book & secure a trip on the water this time around. I called a few people and they werent so accommodating. I found Sail Wild Air on a site and immediately called. A wonderful man by the name of Erol picked up. Little did we know, he was the owner of the company and we were going to go on adventure with him. We booked a trip for the next day for the afternoon waves. It was one of the best trips. He let us stir the wheel and help him around the boat. Thats what I call a real experience. He does different kinds of cruising so if interested, Id def. recommend calling him before anyone else. He told us a little bit about the area, gave us a few lessons and enjoyed the beautiful sunny afternoon with us. Next time we are going to take the bigger boat he owns on a ride for 3 days. My husband and I were gifted a 4.5 hour sunset cruise as a wedding gift. We had a fantastic sailing experience with Erol. He was willing to be very flexible with us as we kept an eye on the weather but, despite a mid-day thunderstorm, the clouds and rain cleared and the evening was gorgeous.When we arrived, he gifted me a bouquet of flowers which was such a thoughtful touch. Erol is incredibly knowledgeable about the lake and we learned so much by talking with him. He let us steer the boat, stream music, and just hang out and have quiet time together. The snacks and drinks were a bonus! Definitely would recommend!!

I have been out with Erol on Wild Air on multiple occasions. Erol is a competent captain, instructor and a great host - very instructive without being bossy. The boat - Wild Air - is great . A wonderful learning platform and a pleasure to sail.

Erol took my family out for a wonderful 4th of July sail. He was an incredibly knowledgeable, instructive, and kind guide. On top of that, his boat was clean and the perfect size for my family (we even got to go for a swim near the Colchester Causeway). The food and drinks he brought were a great addition as well.We all left feeling very relaxed and wishing we could sail more often :)
