We were on our Yellow Stone trip when fuel filter change warning came on. We called GM dealership but they couldnt even commit to being able to do simple fix so then we called me around. Guess who said bring it on in right now? Well, they had part delivered and replaced filter in such a quick time my wife didnt mind hanging out at shop. I enjoyed it, its like the barber shop for me. The chickens and horses added ambiance. :). The bottom line is truck repaired at lower cost than dealership and allowed us to get back to our trip. Thanks guys.Happy campers

About a week ago, while on a long road trip, our Honda Odyssey needed a new exhaust hose (or something like that) because ours had a couple of holes in it and it was causing our engine to misfire. Charles took care of us on the same day that we dropped off the vehicle. He saved our trip! He stayed late to install the new hose, and he charged us a very reasonable price. His dog greeted us in the waiting room - a nice and quiet dog with a gentle personality. We highly recommend this business to anyone who needs it. Charles is an honest man, an excellent mechanic, and he won’t try to rip you off.

Traveling and stopped in Cody for a few days. Contacted them about brake work for my truck. They had me drop my truck off that day and had me an estimate that afternoon. Parts were ordered and they completed the job by noon the next day. Great service.

Recently went to Technical Cowboy Automotive to have service performed on our Subaru Outback. Specifically, we needed to have the differential and transmission fluids drained and replaced. Pleased to report that the work was performed in a professional and timely manner. And at a fair price to boot. This was our first experience doing business with TCA, and it was a very positive one. Will be bringing our vehicles to TCA in the future when they require service. Highly recommended.

I had drove into Cody and realized my brakes were not in a condition to get me back home. I called and they got me in that day. Brakes and Rotors. It was completed by 1:00 that same day and the price was amazingly reasonable. I was so thankful because after Cody I had a 1,200 mile trip home too. I felt safe the whole way. The day we were leaving town the car wouldnt start! We started calling everyone in the phone book from A on down. Took us all the way to T for Technical Cowboy before we had anyone say they would even look at the car this week!Charles was awesome. He said he would diagnose the problem as soon as he could work it in...(first thing the next morning) We needed a new starter (which he had in stock!) And we were on the road one day later!Such a life saver! We had a great experience, and we are so thankful Charles worked us into his busy schedule to get us on the road quickly.

Had my car break down in cody and brought it to technical cowboy. They saw me first thing in the morning and had the problem figured out before they were even supposed to open. After a couple hours they told me they would need to wait for parts which is understandable. And then an hour later i got another call saying they figured out a loose wire caused the problem. My husband and I were staying for a week in Cody and twice previously had a Hot Oil warning light come on while climbing at elevation indicating that our transmission oil was overheating. Charles was great. He got us in on short notice and spent 45min diagnosing the problem then sent us away to the local auto parts store for an infrared heat sensing gun and told us how to check to see if the oil was truly to hot, or if it was just a bad sensor. And he wouldnt take payment for his time. We would definitely recommend Charles as a knowledgeable, honest man.

Came into Cody for a fishing trip to yellowstone. While fishing my check engine light cane on. I had a bad EGR valve. They got me in and taken care of and my truck is running great. No complaints at all. Im very appreciative of them getting me in and out so fast. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Alternator and both batteries were shot. I was towed there Sunday night and was out of there early Monday afternoon. Excellent work and service. Read all the reviews rating them as mostly 5. They deserve this rating.

It is so good to have a company that cares. These guys are some of the greatest mechanics I’ve met. Someone said it’s good to know there is still loyal people and I can 100% confirm that. My dad is a mechanic and every time I go to a place they try to scam me with things that don’t need done. Charles and the guys have it to me straight and helped me get back on the road so fast!

My Jeep engine malfunctioned in Cody, Wyoming. Unfortunately it was not easily repaired due to back order of a crucial part. Through out the whole process, Charles gave me an honest appraisal , and provided the repair at a very reasonable cost.

The services are always extremely prompt, accurate, and very reasonably priced. Pretty much the only mechanics shop we use in Cody.

This place was great!!! We were traveling from out of state and needed breaks he got me in that day and within a couple hours I was back on the road great pricing... only reason for 3 out 5 stars is because Ive been bombarded by phone calls, text messages and emails to rate or leave feedback very annoying........( Not from the owner personally but by whatever company he has employed to manage his online account)

Much as I dont like spending money on car repairs, these guys always make me feel better about the experience with their fast turnaround and friendly attitudes. The repair costs seem generally reasonable and Ive never had any problems with work theyve done for me -- rotors, wheel bearing replacement, spark plug replacements and a few others.

Had a very minor communication mixup but these guys are great! Probably the most honest shop Ive been to 👌

I went here monthly for 6 months for the calibration of my interlock. They were fast, got the job done. Except never had a chance to check my car for anything else and I asked on multiple occasions - “We don’t have time.” The last month, it was the week I was driving back to West Virginia when I called to see if they can check my car just to make sure it’s ready for a long drive plus the calibration. They said, yes as long as it’s before 3. I got there at 1pm, but they didn’t have time. Needless to say, I had no other time to get my car checked. I wish they said no so I could make arrangements.

Im a former auto mechanic, these people do good work. Its a tough job with people asking you to do things all day that require knowledge, concentration and skill but this place seems well organized.

Stopped to have my differential oil checked, (this would take less than five minutes) right off the bat I sense the guy was not going to be helpful as he just sat there and Ignored me for some time. I was there at 7:30 in the morning when they opened. I was traveling and needed it done right away. He told me that he can do it around 2 o’clock. So I left. Before I got in my jeep I thought well, if I just had a wrench I could check it myself. I went back and asked for a wrench and he refused. Saying the owner would not allow it. These people are so unhelpful! I realized he was an A$$h0le and I expressed this to him and left. This is a far cry from the service we received at the Lander Wyoming NAPA store. We need to replace the control alarm on one of our jeeps, and not only did they lend us the tools, and provided penetrating fluid and anything else we needed. The owner of the NAPA store came and pulled off the control arm him self. Also we needed a nut with a flange, to install the new control arm. He called a friend to come and weld one on the nut. All at no charge. People in Lander are the people I remember Wyoming used to be! Business people in Cody basically suck! Your Response is exactly what I would expect from your business! Go take care of it yourself, buy the tool yourself,do the job yourself,don’t come here!
